Pacing, chef's kiss. Female characters, OMG THEY ARE JUST CHARACTERS WITH PERSONALITIES AND FLAWS AND ARE PEOPLE, CHARACTERS OMG OMG THUS IS HOW YOU WRITE FEMALE CHARACTERS!!!! Trope is somewhat standard, monsters appear and at the same time humans with the ability to fight them start appearing. But the story is unique and complicated and WORLDWIDE, so much fun to see different people portrayed from around the world, and they are not just caricatures of themselves. Seriously hope this ends up on Webtoon so I can support the author! Definitely read it!
