Okay after reading (or actually rather slightly skimming through) I've come to a conclusion that this will be one of those manga what ere this will drag out and yes there will be some development but no one will actually get Kae. They will all remain friends and it will end with some content and maybe open ended ending. That's just my theory because, with the pace of this and the equal advantage each person is getting, they 're going nowhere. Though I also assume that either Igarashi (mostly him from what I've seen and sensing) and Mutsumi are taking the lead in this. Even as a much as I want a Igarashi/Nana, Nana/Shino, Mutsumi/Shino, this is obviously a g/b manga, so therefore I am rooting and hoping for Mutsumi or Nishina ;p But aside from that, I personally and honestly can say that I like this and enjoy it. In the beginning I had a pretty sour outlook on where things were going, like with the shallowness these guys were appearing to be. Sure it was amusing and hilarious, I just didn't like the message that was being unintentionally being send. But as the story progresses, the characters did too, they actually ended up falling for her oblivious naive and "pure" personality. ***(but I think this the sour opinion was more driven form reading the comments and this is something you shouldn't do)*** Also I think this manga is marketing (maybe) obviously more towards ***fan services and comedy. I think the "love" progression is just to make things "interesting" and the progression will definitely be slow and we're probably only mostly going to get fillers with character development. ***But I truly think none of this should be taken seriously, how the guys were approaching the "new" Kae in he beginning, the intimate alone time each reverse harem candidate got with Kae, and so on. Junko is using the elements in every Yaoi or maybe even in any manga where things that should be scene as something bad, is taken lightly by us fujoshi/fudanshi. And it's just what we should do in this. It may be wrong but again this is all fan services and all for fluffs and giggles and maybe some heart throbs and I think if you can't do it this is not the manga for you. I don't even know if I'm making sense or if I'm getting my point across but I guess you just need to come into this manga with an open mind ready and just enjoy the funny and sometimes serious shit this fujoshi faces it in this reverse harem AU. It's pretty good, maybe not so deep as Junko's previous works, but this is new water Junko is treading in. I'll still read, it's interesting and amusing enough.
