[DROPPED] Wow, okay I loved the premise of this. It’d definitely would have been interesting to see the series “rerun” itself but through an antagonists’ sibling’s eyes. The MC’s nonchalant badass personality is so refreshing too, but the story itself seems to be unnecessarily dragging itself, to the point of it becoming boring.

The art is beautiful, the time skips are well placed, the story and love progression is satisfyingly steady, and just holy shit the FL and ML is so cute and badass. I love old legends being reformed and retold in comic form. This also reminds me a lot of the Hawksong series cause of the clash of Birds and snakes, infused with the Romeo/Juliet esque theme. The translation is iffy (different team I guess) but it’s getting more understandable now lol c94

Shounen Ai seems to have the best story lines, this one is definitely proving that right. Absolutely love the lore and pacing of the story too; everything is being revealed as we go and it’s not blandly told at all. c34
