There are four stories, three great stories in here, and then there's the third that revolves around violence and rape. The rape is yaoi-convention, an expression of anger, but the victim clawing the carpet to escape is disturbingly real. The rapist knows he's gone too far, but the victim is willing to shrug off the whole thing as his own fault. CREEPY. Especially when the other stories are about coming back from war and surviving rape and abuse, and what it means to be gentle to a partner. WEIRD. When the rest of the notes are so perfect, why is that one so badly out of tune?
