27 Major trigger warning for SA (gang r) and sexual trauma. Pilgyeon is the son of the woman Nanmu fell in love with. The woman was however the mistress of the man who took Nanmu (and two other Nanmu considers his brothers) in from the streets, who Nanmu considers his father, and who is the boss of an organized crime organization. Once the boss found out, Nanmu was punished and given an ultimatum that involves gang r. At some point, he got fed up with it and got another punsihment along with his brothers that involves his brothers using him for sex. At some point, Nanmu stopped visiting Pilgyeon's family and one day Pilgyeon's mother died. The story begins with Pilgyeon looking for Nanmu through the use of violence - he attacks members of the organization using a hammer. Once reunited, Pilgyeon clings onto Nanmu. Nanmu is the only one Pilgyeon considers his father, having never met his biological father and spent enough quality time with Nanmu that any other man his mother brings home are just... men. Pilgyeon exhibits some personality disorder that makes him unhinged but he tries his best to cherish Nanmu. For example, he picked up on Nanmu's body language when they talked about what he thought of sex, so he focused on making him feel good and never pushing too far even though it hurts for him to hold back. Even while they have sex, he keeps asking if it feels good and takes his time to learn Nanmu's body. He even reunited with his biological father to get close to Nanmu and ruin the people that takes Nanmu's happiness away. Meanwhile, Nanmu's trauma shines through when he thinks about the future - he is sure that Pilgyeon is attached to him because of his loneliness and that's why he is attracted to a "worn out" body - and because of this, he even pities Pilgyeon for being aroused because of him. I love the execution of the story. It deals with heavy themes and some scenes were hard to read but I enjoyed reading it. I also love that Pilgyeon apparently only smiles at Nanmu. When people point out that he has a scary expression, Nanmu cannot believe it because Pilgyeon is always smiling.
