Kaede has a complex. Seeing his mother who was an abandoned omega. He helps Asuza from his bullies in middle school but apparently they knew each other as young kids. (Bad plothole since you don’t know till after he meets up with his mum). Anyway we’re in uni and Asuza has pushed his way into Kaedes life, purposefully goes into heat, anally rapes an alpha and forces Kaede to mark him. Kaede rejects him, cheats with a pro, realises too late that he wants Asuza and all good (breh…). Then a pushy omega tries to force himself between a marked and committed couple. Accidentally goes into heat which triggers Kaede as they are fated mates. Saved by Asuza, Kaede returns with his lover. Hikaru returns home greeted by his trauma Ren who tried to attack when Hikaru presented. Review: He shouldn’t have raped Kaede like that and it’s weird to see their roles flipped considering this is omegaverse. I dunno, his friends are flakes too. But all of a sudden bam. I liked the second couple better. Update: Everything I said in my review still holds. I forgot the plot, came back for a reread and felt the exact same way. If it wasn’t for Ren I would’ve lowered it to 1 star. I’m just not fkn with Asuza raping Kaede like that. Just tainted the rest of the story for me. Maybe if there was more backstory of them as kids cause that seems like a lot was cut out. Then home wrecker Hikaru was much also.

Edit: reread and realised he’s 15?! Orphan became servant for affluent alpha brothers. Falls in love with Tsun young master. It’s a shorter story than I thought. Would’ve been a good one to expand on especially with the older brother and his omega. It’s been done many times plotwise but I feel it was done well. But very short and condensed. Update:Unknowingly and randomly read the sequel thinking “ waah I wanna know more about the other brother.” Only to come back to this for a re-read. Good stuff.

I get a bit confused with who is who in this one but I do love the story. I’m a sucker for pairings (leave no man behind). It’s great for an omegaverse with no rape such sweet, sweet consent ahhhh... There was barely any emphasis on estrus till Tsuji tried it. I’m interested in the sub stories definitely but they don’t take away from the main plot. I’m convinced it’ll be a happy ending since everyone seems matched up. I like all the characters though some look the same and you have to double check. Smut is sexy but not too heavy which is good. Good plots and strong characters don’t need em.

I love it. Fated pair, stubborn alpha, determined omega. Supportive servants. True love.

Love this. Fighting fate. I was actually feeling for Taiga till I remembered Yuka wouldn’t be able to pair after Kaoru. I never got to finish it. For a short series it had great pacing and the drama was heartbreaking and beautiful. I really had no idea it had a happy ending.

At the start I thought ML was a bully, but later on it seemed like MC gave him that role. Also not the brocon thing, gross.

Love Daath so I love the story. Juda such a great name for seme.
