- i read it before up until when momiji first entered when I realized I prefer watching the anime - I read a bit after the s2 finale when I realized (again) I prefer the anime for more emotional impact of the music and narrative - would've been god tier if not for the questionable themes like sexism, pedophilic remarks, age gaps - the redemption arc is u needed - tohru is actually strong but sometimes the message they're trying to deliver is too naive - I love how gentle haru can be when he's serious. he's firm yet comforting at the same time - machi's dislike of order in contrast of yuki's life maintaining his high reputation

[Nov. 5, 2020] - i love the OT4 (medea, psyche, pell, and helios) and how they all can kill me - I love how medea's always ahead of her game and i got obsessed with her at first sight - the character development between Medea and psyche is so good - it flows in a way where Medea is the protagonist yet the narrative paints her as petty and goes in favor of Psyche's side - i don't understand the politics but it never became a hindrance to my love for the series. On the contrary, the political aspect is what makes it more interesting - manipulative toxic relationships were portrayed realistically while not prolonging Psyche's boldness

WOMEN. - lee jihye has the most realistic normal response in all of them imo - i cried more from their family dynamics moments more than angst itself which says a lot... - epilogue is the cause of half of my mental illness - the amount of historical/Contempo arts references yes educate me - KIM DOKJA PATHETIC UGLY NERD REP - the manhwa made the apocalyse look beautiful - i dont understand much of the world while reading the novel so seeing it in the manhwa is nice and pain - the reason i came to flame scans in the first place

dnf at first because of Boring Flower - BF's whole misunderstanding trope was so annoying - jinyeong reminds me of ahji ew - fake dating was cool ig but they're simply not hitting. - HAMIN'S FLOWER GOT ME SOBBING RIGHT AT THE START TILL THE VERY END - wasn't much into jaemin but this season made me love him. He went through so much and I hate that i relate with his relationship with his mom post-death and his loneliness from the new family. - I'm impressed how the creators pulled off this story. The writing was excellent and flowed really well. I almost felt like Hamin was also my friend. - the narrative style was also brilliant. We saw Jaemin dealing with grief and the cycle of trauma in the present, paralleled by his brother leading up to that day while trying to protect him from the abuse. And connecting them was Somang who represented hope and desire for both of them. - Refreshing and realistic take about suicide. It covered not just the factors that lead to it nor to blame, but also the readers could feel what the loved ones have to experience. The aftermath did not just stop at about moving on, but also healing to those around the person who's going through similar suicidal thoughts.
