These are the stories that make my subversive, challenging heart soar. I gladly gulp these stories up because they are flesh and blood, heart, mind and soul. These ain't cookie cutter stories and I treasure this collection.

Wow. Yeah, this is subversive writing! I actually like it!

Hanazono No Kioku

Complete | hino garasu | 2000 released

I <3 Chris. Kuro reminds me of my beloved cat, Fun Gov. Damn onion cutting ninjas! ♡

Acid Flower

Complete | amasaki yoshimi | 2004 released

I loved this! I even love that it's an open end (thoroughly understanding that it was dropped. I see the rest in Chinese, but sadly, I don't read kanji. :( ) The chibi omakes were hilarious! Often very, very funny.

Ikumen After

Complete | KODAKA Kazuma | 2010 released

I loved this so much! Those kids were way too damn cute! ♡

Motoyan Papa to Hitsuji-sensei

Complete | MIZUKI Tama | 2016 released

I love this! I felt the hardship they were going through. A beautiful story and that little boy was freaking adorable. I'm sad it's ended, but it goes right into my favorites! ♡

Goodbye Lilac

Complete | yuki ringo | 2015 released

I can't even. ..I was all prepared for a somber, melancholy end and I found myself deeply impressed by how it ends. I kept waiting for the shoe to drop and all it did was walk out of his closet.

Photograph (HINO Garasu)

Complete | hino garasu | 2009 released

I have read comment after comment on the seme's behavior, but I don't see it the same. I think what the photographer did was precious in a way that most people can't grasp. Most people are looking for ooey gooey romance (the kind that might give you diabetes ), and this story gives a far more realistic look at couples where one partner is a non-touchy-feely tsundere prickly pear. My husband and I loved this aspect, understanding it far too well (I'm the non-touchy-feely prickly pear tsundere.)
