Full disclosure : My eyes were seriously leaking during the second half. I love this. That fella endured a hell of a long time. And I love how the story didn't give in to "second princeitis." That fella was a very good guy.

This is a bittersweet beauty. It gives a beautiful ninth inning twist that brings home, in multiple ways, the idea that one person, whether they realize it or no, can have a lifetime effect on your psyche and I love that. It's so simple, yet so profound.

I loved this. It is darkly beautiful. That poor boy's father should have been drawn and quartered. The fear in this boy was palpable and what impressed me most was how organic their affection became. I was glad to see the neighbor/caretaker /other person who loved him, understand that his role as caretaker had ended and he could move on with his own life.

What is the last card Lady Fate holds? I love the idea of digitalis/foxglove as a beautiful but deadly poisonous flower.

I adored the nephew. I loved how it played out like an old fashioned romance. I wasn't thrilled with all the comparisons to women, but I loved Sensei and understood his fears.

The fourth story is beautiful. And the fifth made me cry hard.
