Akai Hana
Lovely. To think that the vampire loved his beloved Shiki enough to give him a merciful death, then wakes up again and knows where to find him? That's beautiful to me. The last page says everything. Heh--Upon a third time reading this, I found myself listening to a version of "Dear You " (from Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni ) and bawled even harder than the first time. Yeah, definitely don't make my same mistake, fellow reader. It's almost too painful.
Jigoku Meguri
This is nice. I love the whole reincarnated soul mate /lover thing. The melancholy is well balanced with the sweetness, I think. I truly felt the emotions of the characters. Several times I almost cried, especially the last story. Would I read it again? Yes. Definitely.
Kono Hoshi de Ichiban Akarui Tokoro
I was afraid that I wasn't going to like this at first. It seemed like typical shounen ai and yaoi, but I opened the first page and found myself smitten with the love stories of two couples who are the same and totally different at the same time. I do love me some shy and wounded boys. I really like this one.
Shinigami no Koi
I really liked the idea of the shinigami falling for one of his victims. And I loved the story of Yumeshima.
Vampire And Hunter
OMG I love this! Hilarious, touching and sweet. Cracks me right up! I applaud the author for writing this. Funny, romantic and more than a little bit twisted. Too bad it was discontinued.
Itoshi Koishi Kimi dake ni
I'm loving this. My favorite was the last story because it was dead obvious that it wasn't what he was preaching.
Kiyona Yubisaki, Bukiyona Tsumasaki
Nice, nice work. Love it.
Hana wa Junai ni Junjiru
I loved Shrill's story. It didn't quite feel like shotacon and I felt that he really loved Shrill.
