Kono Hoshi de Ichiban Akarui Tokoro

Complete | MIKE Nako | 2016 released

I was afraid that I wasn't going to like this at first. It seemed like typical shounen ai and yaoi, but I opened the first page and found myself smitten with the love stories of two couples who are the same and totally different at the same time. I do love me some shy and wounded boys. I really like this one.

Mizu No Haru

Complete | kurosawa kaname | 2000 released

Okay, for real. .. I nearly lost myself to the cuteness. So beautiful. I laughed right out loud several times. I very nearly lost to the onion cutting ninjas! ♡ When he called his Dad's lover his mom, I nearly lost it. I loved the stories of the dad and Motoi the best. Motoi is such a sweetheart.

2ban-me no Alpha

Complete | Shibue yofune | 2019 released

I loved this. I totally understood Matsumoto-san and I loved the underlying melancholy within. The last extra though was way too cute.

Soul Kiss

Complete | Homerun Ken | 2000 released

I LOVED this. I'm unafraid to confess that this made me cry.

Impatiens

Complete | hachiya, | 2013 released

Like Two Peas in a Pod

Complete | Gorou Kanbe | 2000 released

Nakata and Tanaka always were similar. Throughout the seasons, this takes us on their emotional journey to love. It is touching. I liked the friendship that developed between Nakata and his book club friend, Futaba. She was a good friend. The other chick ended up pissing me off. She was almost as stupid as Tanaka. The melancholy runs deep throughout this.

Mad Dog

Complete | Haribo | 2019 released

This is impressive as hell. Not surprising, given the author. I love their dynamic and I love how each (like in "A Thousand Cranes") is their equal. My favorite, though, is knowing things from the dark-haired boy's point of view. That was amazing.

Assorted Wildness

Complete | Gyeja,Jipang | 2019 released

This is beautiful. Those two are true soulmates. Two peas in a pod, definitely.

The Omega Takes a Husband

Complete | Kuroi yodaka | 2019 released

I loved Makoto's restraint all those years. I actually tore up when he had to take care of his fella under the drug. Lovely, masculine story that's the love story I adore.
