Kiyo heard of the mermaid's ability to give immortality, and became immortal himself as he's wedded by a merman. They both share the curse of immortality. With this newfound way of life, Kiyo became unsettled and sought after the way to die, and as a merman's spouse, it isn't an easy treat. After learning about the only way to die from the Racoon Youkai, and the tragic meaning for his merman having wedded a man, Kiyo dropped his will to die and picked up a resolve to live until eternity with his merman. (The ending made me yell out because it's so nice.)

A dramatic love story brought forth from a general's fearless nature when faced with death, and a poison bird's fear of his own poison. After killing his former owner, Cai Hong questioned what love truly was, and thought of his beauty that corresponds his poison to be a curse. He eventually met with General Fei, the younger brother of his former owner, who took care of him and found a way to live together happily as a couple. (The ending was beautiful. Love it.)

Ichi who has lived a horrible life from birth with his twin brother Fumi, has been given a job to look after an 'attraction' in the freak show he lives in. As he takes care of whatever thing it is, he finds out that this thing is a little boy??? Moreover, he's a demon!?! For the little boy he's taking care of, he's willing to escape and possibly gets punished by his supervisor for letting him out. But who cares, right? You're not an attraction, you're human!
