ATTENTION SHORT SUMMARY: KIng's Maker, a story about the hot headed 4th prince Wolfgang and his introverted friend (future bf? ;) hehehe), but also adviser Soohyuk who's one of king's 'properties', which is symbolized by a black cape. At the begining the young prince had to hide from his father, the current corrupted king, in oder to survive. After several incidents and the meeting with Soohyuk, he then was forced to acknowledge his identity as royal as well as the heaviness and begin to live a new life in the palace. He then decided to get in the way of Soohyuk, the mysterious 'steakboy' he met. ' I'll become king. Then I can take that cape off for you.' and with those words their friendship slowly, but surely blossoms and maybe one day it will eventually intensifies...
King's Maker quikly rises as one of my favs along with wolf in the house, At the end of the road, Dark Heaven, 19 Days, Canis etc. If you like the slow burn (heavily plot driven story) or medieval vibe then this is for you. This manhwa definitely reminds me of The Song of Achilles which is an amazing (and sad) BL novel, but less dark (idk if it will became that dark in the future, now (at chap.15) it's still quite heartwarming...okay, yes, I like to torture myself...) Anyways, IT'S BEAUTIFUL.
