CHARACTERS: Everyone in the Defense Corps is like a whole big family, it’s honestly so heart-warming I love everyone so fucking much, just like watching my own children grow and seeing that their persistent efforts have not gone to waste. Literally can’t pick a favorite, but if I have to, we gotta love the little comedy pair (Hoshina and No.1, counting them as one). I loved and still love seeing everyone’s wholesomeness and their hard work (especially Ichikawa, Shinomiya, Iharu; well, basically everyone that we’ve come across atp). Love all their silly moments and hope they all live a long, prosperous life. GENERAL: I appreciate the author for not having a sadistic mindset like Gege, author of JJK. Unlike him, they aren’t desperately seeking a chance to torture the emotional state of their followers by killing off characters and instead, actually cherishes their characters and readers. Our golden trio in this manhwa (royal highness Cedric, princess Christelle, and our lovely MC moon prince Jesse). Of course, our Demi is the most adorable~ I love everyone in Juliette Palace that we’ve most encountered so far and a few outside of there. The female lead is not annoying unlike many others with the same plot line and is actually a great main lead There is certainly some chemistry building up between the three, especially Jesse and Cedric, but most of all, they were so silly and wholesome that it makes me pray for the safe arrival of the upcoming chapters Can’t wait to read more about it (7/12/2024)

You’re right. Life wasn’t fair. How dare my phone shut down at 2 in the morning before I had the chance to submit my comments. Not the two protecting their wifey from unexpected danger. Farzan is such a silly dude; I wonder what he meant by “achieving all of his goals by age 21” and then pouncing hungrily on Shane the very next moment. Meltier though, takes on a more slow approach and allowing Shane to gradually get comfortable with him which he successfully does. He is so cute, and very demure; that’s why he is still number one on Shane’s list. Of course, we shouldn’t forget about Mesarthim. This huggable ball of wool who has been assisting Shane to his best. If there is a Mesarthim plushie anywhere, I would buy it (also if I have enough money, hehe). Shane. I have to admit I was disappointed after hearing his name, but his attentiveness and ability to apply information always impressed me. I’ll definitely keep my eye out for this manhwa. Bro could potentially be a double-edged sword, but he is so pookie material. He’s good with the kids and protective over his people, in an innocent yet peculiar way for now. I adore them all, including that snobby girl our “teach” will be teaching. I just want to squeeze her cheeks through the screen and pat her head

The artstyle is unfair, like how can it be so beautiful at every panel? I also like the subtle foreshadowing. This isn’t my usual types of reads, cause city life suits me best, but I’m willing to try it out.

This genuinely by far is the most satisfying, tissue-wasting yuri I’ve ever read. Not only is the art well-drawn, the whole story and character development was well-written. I applaud Everyone got the happy ending they deserved, no one is left behind. Well done, author/illustrator. Even at the end, I love Amy as well. CHARACTERS: Each one of the characters have a different meaningful personality that contributes to the plot line. The cohesiveness of each one is truly hard to weld together but, our amazing author managed to keep it up for more over 46 chapters! Take Amy for example; there was times where her obsession with going to Louisiana prison to find her mother was a tad bit annoying but the moments where the characters mentioned how fun it was to be around her is where I could also relate, especially since the author did so good at illustrating these feelings through a flat screen. Lastly, thank you Milo for recommending me this read ~ (6/15/2025)
