I wonder which one is more annoying the MC or ML. Sure, the MC is no pushover and has some good traits but the way she keeps fawning over the ML and being extra playful is annoying. In the beginning, the dude was even considering killing her but she was attracted to him? Cringe. She even relied on him when that one woman was about to slap her and she jumped to his embrace. I wouldn't mind them mutually relying on each other if they actually had a relationship but her acting intimate with him at times feels weird. The ML is equally annoying but maybe more so, bland. He is as interesting as a cardboard cutout. He is the historical equivalent of "a domineering CEO who is rude and that's pretty much all his personality" kind of character with a historical setting. I'm still reading just because, currently, they are annoying but bearable. I hope this doesn't get overly cringy.
