Dang I changed my review down to 4 honestly would have liked and accepted step bro as the lover in the end if the story just made him more likeable?? I get that it’s love that is so deep and unrequited for so long but as the reader I felt a closer connection to Taku since he is also an outsider looking in. I hope there’s a better conclusion than just accepting their fate if that makes sense. I can’t get over how gorgeous the art is though!! Also a threesome would have been nice :’ )

It was really too cliche and cringe at the same time for me. I’m into realistic and erotic stories but the speed was pretty slow and you can tell the author has zero experience living as a gay man in Korea.. also the sex was kind of unrealistic and the tropes were a bit obvious for me. If more time and background was developed for each character I would have taken a liking to someone.. anyone.. but It was just hard.

The story and characters started off really strong!! I wanna say the first 30-50 chapters were great. At one point it felt like the fathers screen time became a lot more than expected. I like his love/hate relationship with the ML. I am forcing myself to get through the chapters and some I even skipped cause the timing has slowed so much. I wish it was more smutty visually but overall I do think of this story fondly. I remember also why I would just keep scrolling even the sex scenes felt less sexy when the drawings kept switching to Chibi mode. They were too cutesy and less realistic and it broke the sex appeal for me. I’m sure it made the artist happier to draw but I did lose a big chunk of interest. Overall good! Nothing too special with the ending but I’m happy they will live a happy life

Idk I wasn’t a fan of the 20+ chapter flashback before anything happened in the story. If it was more memorable or had a deeper Plot than MC loving but acting like he hates ML. I couldn’t relate or find a spark of interest in the characters but the sex scenes we’re pretty great!

I’m going through a divorce with my own Soohyun. I fell for the fake sincerity, gaslighting and manipulation and i ended it after years of slowly becoming baekyeon.. depressed insecure and scared. I’m so happy Junhyuk exists in this story because I sadly know how the story would turn out if it was otherwise.going through the heartache and seeing my ex as a monster has been the norm until now. The ending made me realize so much.. even a terrible bad attitude person like sooyoun deserves love. We all do. As much trauma he gave our ML he is able to become a better person with the new author. I see now it just takes a certain kind of person and for my relationship I can see now we were never the best match to evolve eachother to be our better selves. I’m so happy I read this. I’m still crying from The last chapter because I realized I always wanted that lovely romantic ending that junghyuk and baekyeon have and it’s bittersweet for me to see it.. with his family, with the grandmother, the thoughtful gifts, the help through the fear, the tender moments and the loving sex and spontaneous trips and matching rings, that’s all I wanted In the past and in a way I got to see it with baekyeon. Love hurts and I hated it during this heartache but I do see how beautiful love can be. I hope my sooyeon can find that person to love him the best way he can grow to be a better person And maybe some day I can find my junghyukk. Who knows. For now this story satisfy my heart.

Hmm the story lacked romance just a lot of drama and I felt the art lacked a bit too. If there was anything else that could have made me like the characters more personally I wouldn’t have skipped so much. Sometimes it was just hard keeping interested.

Are you fucking kidding me this is the best BL I’ve read in months… I laughed and gasped and cried and talked to myself. The drama was so real, and heavy and it just felt authentic and you know how many gay young boys go through abuse?? Not many are as lucky as our cute uke… in the sense that he finds true love and a safe place with friends and had atleast one supportive uncle… oh the fucking sex scenes in this story were so top tier… the art.. everything about it I loved. I could hear the characters voices as I read, it was that immersive for me.. I appreciated the lesbian friends so much I wish a side story was made for them too. Having my own trauma and reading the best words of encouragement felt so healing, “it’s time to forgive yourself” had me bawling. I love this so much I can’t say it enough. It’s heavy yea it’s a hard read for many, idk if I can go through it again because the first time can never be outdone but my god is this Manhwa memorable, lovable, thoughtful and sexy.

The story, the plot, the art and the sex scenes are so good !!! This story is perfect for a film/drama adaption even anime there is depth and moral and drama and the feelings of love destined for doom. I adore this story it’s one I will forever think about. Last chapters had me clutching my heart. I cried and it just felt so beautiful. The page was perfect at the highest conflict/climax but it rushed a lot towards the end. We don’t know if the other two will become lovers though in the yaoi world it’s quite obvious. I liked the end but it just felt like that’s not the complete end. I want to read mooooore!!

The idea and creativity to this couple is there, but some dialogue and actions weren’t as interesting as expect or I couldn’t really relate to the characters.which for me makes it a good read
