I think it’s one of those stories I have to continuously read and remind myself of the plot otherwise it’s a bit forgettable. To do so every read just lets me know it’s not memorable enough or not as amazing for a reading experience.

It was a slow burn for me to enjoy this story. But it got pretty cute in the end because it didn’t abruptly end when they got together. We got to see some healthy jealousy, healthy boundaries and it just feels this mangaka knows what’s it’s like to have a healthy partnership. I wish it had more depth like we could watch them grow old and one does early or they die together idk hahah

I would categorize this in shounen ai… not much sex was implied and their special night was a an extra chapter that faded to black…. I was terrified It would leave me craving or missing that sexual tension but the story and plot is so damn good I forgive it. A story about story telling and writing of course it’s gonna be a fantastic read. After sitting through many half asses manwahs and modern stories that just lacked a lot in the plot, this was so refreshing to read in 2024. I stand by stating that anyone can be an artist, an author even but not everyone can be a storyteller and my god this was a story worthy of telling. I cried which usually hits my 5 start mark, but I really was missing the sexual chemistry I love in a yaoi. A DEFINITE recommend to anyone and everyone.
