oh damn, it's so good. everything lands perfectly-- the sad moments, the humor, the suspense, the heat, everything. yes, it's about werewolves, but it's more about trust, and it's really well balanced with lighter moments and more intense ones and uggggh.

hmm. different, at least. akihito can only see dead lover by touching tomofuki... who of course is secretly in love with akihito. ends up thirdwheeling the ghost-human relationship. there's one very noncon moment (dead lover possesses tomofuki's body to sleep together); it is presented as despicable, but they still all move on from it and I dunno that I can. second is very stock-- long term unrequited love finally convinces the other person to try it out once.
