Another one where the explicit bisexual character sleeps with everything with a pulse, including his own adopted mother. It takes the never specified sexuality character to “teach him” about how “great sex is with someone you actually love”.

I wanted to like this in concept, but there’s two glaring red flags for me: one, most obvious is that it is NEVER ok to hit your partner. Two, it’s a bit ridiculous that Asashi is nursing this broken heart for literally the nicest straight dude I’ve ever seen in manga and maybe real life. Yea, crushes happen but to call it a heartbreak and imply that you were in a relationship when you had a one sided crush is toxic as hell. Just because you have a crush doesn’t mean you’re owed anything in return from another person.
