Nabari no Ou
I read the manga first. And knowing how the ending is quite heartbreaking, I put the anime on hold for a very long time. Kinda glad at least the anime gave us a bit of happy ending. One of the best manga. The magic system, the conflict, the character. Very well written. The ending is satisfying, yet so heartbreaking. It is the most logical conclusion of a tragedy, yet I still hope for a bit happy ending. But we all know it's impossible for this story to get a happy ending.
Kill the Villainess
This is tragedy to everyone's involved. It's just painful. It's rare that I can sympathize with every character involved in the story. Not that I condone their behavior, but their motive is so human. The author treats them respectfully and gives them characterization that they deserves. Also, the author clearly understand the critical role of world building to create much more believable story and to make the plot runs smoothly. Honestly, I really love the story logic in here. Yes, there is soft magic, and as a reader, from MC POV, we don't really understand the magic system in this story. But the story clearly explain the law of causality as a basis of all that's happening in the first place. And that's really impressive for Isekai shoujo like this. I just love the world building here.
Kimi no Koe
I wish all happiness for both of them
