Love is fantasy! ~The Queen~

Complete | Fargo | 2000 released

honestly, i hated love is an illusion and i started this with remarkably low expectations that somehow managed to not be met there is so much horrid miscommunication and unneeded mutual pining. the same could be said of most "literature" (if thats what you would call this bs) but that is exactly what makes it so overused. i just need ONE manhwa where the mcs can talk shit out and not go on pining and making assumptions for chapter after chapter. do gyeom is a massive jackass imo. she's what i would say is the real world equivalent of a misogynist. for example, is a man who continually uses women for his own pleasure and sees them as nothing more than their gender a misogynist? not to say she's prejudiced against omegas, but she sees them as things to be used for her own personal gain. seung-ah needs to honestly get tf over it, he's been pining for like almost a decade now? he constantly complains about the way do gyeom is but makes no effort to communicate this to do gyeom or to solve anything healthily. i will never not be pissed when the author makes a sexy, sweet, caring character only for them to be used as a stepping stone for main character to get with toxic love rival. mujin very clearly cares about seung-ah and is just adorable all together (the earlier chapters are a little hazy to me, it's been a while since i've read them). HE MAKES CUTE POTTERY? HE TIES HIS HAIR BACK INTO A LITTLE PONYTAIL? HE SUPPORTS THE PERSON HE LOVES THROUGH EVERYTHING?? christ i need him to get a happy ending. too many times have i seen a sweet second lead introduced for them to be shoved aside to make way for a much less enjoyable love story (case in point : jin from your wish is my command) however, this author isn't known to leave love interests w/o an hea (or at least that was the case for love is an illusion, i can't speak for if you hate me so as the repeated blatant rape in the beginning was enough to put me off from finishing it). she even gave kyungsoo a happy ending, and he had little to no relevance to the plotline, other than babysitting hyesung once and playing the part of free housing there for a lil bit. (though, i do partially think she just wanted to tie up the loose end with chowon so heesoo and dojun could live in peace and was running out of semi-important characters to pair him with) not much has happened yet (this review is being written as of chapter 16) but everything that could've been bad or infuriating did for some reason. we'll see how it goes. as of ch 17 : kinda surprised he just came out and said it. also dislike how do gyeom started yelling, acting like she's entitled to every one of seung-ah's thoughts as of ch.19 : oh my god...why... as of like ch 23 idk i don't care anymore: "how dare you try to be happy after i yelled and rejected you!! i'm gonna throw a regina george level tantrum, chop off all my hair, and start fires in my workplace because i clearly can't move on" - do gyeom, probably. jesus. your ass is ENGAGED to a woman you proposed to?? like ma'am? grow up. YOUUUU are the one who let seung-ah go and now ur gonna throw a piss piss crybaby bitch fit because he's with someone else? literally get a hobby. i feel bad for the fiance, she's gonna get her heart broken and honestly do gyeom doesn't deserve her ass, send her my way. mujin is also gonna get his heart shattered, because i mean would it really be a fargo webcomic if the mc wasn't throwing away a much healthier (and more attractive) relationship for a burning disaster straight from the ninth circle of hell?
