why do all the artists with beautiful art styles have to be weird pieces of shit?? this review is being rewritten as i cringe every time i read my old one. hwan is a creepy, abusive, obsessive, poorly written asshole who's only redeeming quality is his looks (and if i'm being honest pretty much all the main characters are just as attractive as him if not more). chiwoo is not "allowed" to have a friend all for the sake of making hwan feel secure in his relationship. chiwoo was raped by hwan SEVERAL TIMES. the rape scene before or after chiwoo went into the army (can't remember, i don't hate myself enough to go through the torture of rereading) gave me a very very very icky feeling about hwan's true colors but the creepy expression and dialogue in more recent chapters have solidified that ick (coupled with his murdering jin). moving on to my second point, sagold, was it truly necessary for chiwoo to get assaulted in every chapter? i get your vision for the book was "oh! magic dildo that makes him have powers and also attracts sexual monsters that he has to use the dildo to fight off because what would my story really even be if half of wasn't explicit porn??" but really, throw some plot in there somewhere. it's honestly embarrassing how she can't even come up with an inventive or less sexualized way to solve the monster problems, even more so that she can't solve them without making sure her character has nonconsensual sex with almost all of them. third. sweet jesus, the PACING. awful. i usually can look past really fast or slow pacing but when your plot looks like an engine stalling i do get a bit frustrated. nothing for 15 chapters, BAM love confession, nothing for 10 chapters, BAM rape scene, BAM some more rape scenes, flatline for several chapters, BAM hwan probably has several personality disorders and needs to be straitjacketed immediately. really going for that shock value. my fourth and final point. jin. my sweet lovely amazing beautiful radiant jin. the author is an absolute IDIOT for killing him. he was the only thing that made this circus worth reading! he's so sweet and respectful, probably the only character in the book who didn't take advantage of chiwoo on sight. no, he wanted to romance him, make sure he was comfortable before he even brought up sex and it wasn't just a front, because that holds true behind closed doors! a couple of other small things, how did hwan get his dildo or sex toy thing that gave him his blue thing?? details are fuzzy as it has been (thank god) a while since i read this.

bro this is a little too rapey for me :( Minho was put through an unbelievable amount of shit when he was w D*na and now he's stuck with this psycho ass mf?? he needs a damn break and a happy ending where someone actually loves him and he finds a healthy, non-abusive relationship where someone wants to have sex with him, not brutally rape him until he passes out on the floor. it's astonishing that the author manages to make minho the asshole everytime. as of ch.19 well, i'm pretty sure he's dead at least i don't have to read another chapter of this shit stress be gone as of ch. 21: he's not dead god dammit hope y'all r ready for the author's pity the rapist spiel as of ch 27: i was right to think this mfer would never have any character development, minho is dependent on alcohol and very clearly depressed and blonde bitch is still making it abt how lonely poor pitiful wookyung is WOWOW HIS MOMMY'S ABUSIVE??? author couldnt think of a more creative reason for him to be fucking bonkers? as of ch 29 : HE'S GETTING RAPED AGAIN?? BY A NEW GROUP OF PEOPLE?? This is a whole fucking circus dawg I cannot deal w this anymore. I agree w uploader, I was hoping for a death by alcohol poisoning ending to, if only the author would put minho out of his (and by extension, mine) misery. the author is such a sick fuck, and is clearly setting the stage for minho to get "punished" (brutally raped by wookyung for circumstances that i dare say weren't under his control). get fucking help. ch 30 : where tf was my jumpscare warning for that one panel of wookyung, stuff of my nightmares fr idk what i was thinking when i said this was "a little too rapey" because hoo boy are we about to reach a whole new level of degeneracy. if wookyung's creepy ass expression (looking like yelena in that one manga panel, headass) is anything to go by, minho's new (wow, that's just fucking sad) rapists r gonna be in pretty deep shit, but they're gonna get like a slap on the wrist compared to what minho's abt to get, especially when wookyung finds out he "agreed" (was coerced) into doing it for money. i don't think wookyung wants to go to jail for brutally murdering 3 or 4 people in public, so my guess is he's going to take minho back to his home and take it out on him. hoping, pleading, praying that if anything minho dies before any more fucked up shit can happen. this shit is truly the bane of my existence, author belongs in a psych ward. ch like 33 (i dont care to look) wow, its the first time they've had consensual sex the entire book. did not think the author even knew what that was. as of ch 34. For the love of all that is fucking holy, it's about damn time. as of the finale (war is over): oh my fucking god. WE ALMOST HAD IT! he was max 2 seconds from death you stupid fuck let us all have our perfect ending but NOOOOO. he's miraculously saved and then proceeds to WILLINGLY GO BACK?? jesus fuck i hate this author. at least this shit's over, deeply saddened that wookyung didn't suffer more. fuck the author and everyone here except minho most of the time.
