LOOOOL. ah. this was an interesting read. it was good tho! i really liked jesse and andy, they were super cute but like literally why did the second couple get more focus than them. ngl it was weird like ... a police officer w a minor? smth aint adding up here. the whole getting together the moment chase stopped being a minor was fucking hilarious but i mean ig as long as it isnt against the law?? idk its still weird hes over twice his age and his friends dad. damn chase rly said i only go for dilfs. chase was also so damn annoying like mans was in every damn scene w the main couple bruh i cant even rmbr the last time w just them two. speaking of, loved seeing andy go from being terrifed and having pure hatred/fear of jesse to being absolutely obsessed and in love w him. cuteeee. the problems between jesse and his dad also hit hard. joel was a shitty dad but i cant blame him. not only was the responsibility of raising a child thrown on him in his youth, but his child also villainized him growing up though he was trying his best. not to say its ever the kids fault tho, as it all wouldve gone better if joel handled it right from the start. but yeah i feel bad for both of them. well, at least the comedy was good. 7/10

the side stories were interesting. tbh i never realized that jihyun actually raped him, which completely changes things. i sympathized a lot w him towards the end of the main story bc i didnt know that, but it makes his actions way more unforgivable and im glad he got the ending he did now. and in the alternative universe when they actually end up together, i still dont like them together. chiwoo looks hot w long hair tho.

ayo we love fucking CONSENT in this house. the seme was so fucking cute and respectful i love him. the art is also so beautiful. i lowkey thought the friend who put yanai in deep debt would show up and play a role but he didnt. actually everything abt this had the vibes of potentially being really anxiety-inducing but ended up all being vv fluffy. cute! 8/10

so! after watching the movie, ive decided that this is wayyy better animated. the story just flows nicer and since its definitely somewhat comedic, those scenes are translated better on screen. i skimmed thru most of this so this is kind of a review for the movie as well but overall i get the impression that its a sweet and wholesome love story. its pretty innocent and theres not really any major conflicts. both the characters are chill and tho im frustrated w both of them at diff points, its def nothing some good ol communication cant fix. the sensei was a perv and they really didnt do him any justice in the movie by not showing his perception of things loool. kuskabe is hot and my type lol. the movie was really good tho. it was really different from anime im used to but after spending some time on the series, im kinda fond of it now. i still dont understand why this series is just as popular as it really is but its by no means bad at all. 8/10

after reading the entire series, i have to say this is the most forgettable one, but im pretty sure this story was just simply fluff. ig its more abt harasens bg to sympathize w him. he was so hot when he was younger btw not sure what happened. kusakabe and sajou are adorable as always and the scene during graduation was such goals. imagine having your first time in the exact seat you met your first love. and that seat being in your high school music classroom. fucking wild. but goals. anyways this was cute

okay so this one was mainly focused on the like side couples and relationships and i can now say w certainty that none of them are even half as good as sajou and kusakabe. the fashion guys ex-lover was sexy asf when he was young but hes an asshole so forget that. harasens relationship doesnt really hit diff anymore after the timeskip. the one w the old ass teacher was sweet but i didnt really get a sense of their relationship either. its all meh aside from the main couple basically.

really good but ended too soon. i liked it more than i thought i would heading into it. i just like straight men realize they're bi and panic LOL. also, i will always love a good desperate and jealous uke. 9/10
