Hadaka yori mo Oku Fukaku
The story turned out to be much more mature than I was initially expecting, which was a nice surprise. At first, I really disliked Hagiwara's personality as he was making egregious assumptions without consulting Yuto at all, but as the story developed, he came to terms with what he had been doing and even admitted to it, so all was forgiven. The character's personalities are however, pretty run-of-the-mill, if you know what I mean. Still a decent read nonetheless, though.
Kingyo no Ubugoe
What a really interesting and thought-provoking story. Mangaka leaves you confused almost until the end and honestly, the story-telling was really well done. The concept is unlike anything I've ever read although I am semi-versed with mpd. It also had kind of a Bonnie and Clyde element to it as well which made it even more interesting. Obviously, their actions shouldn't be condoned in normal society but in BL world, Yuki's father totally had it coming to him. Great read, I'm not too sure why the rating isn't higher. Although that may be due to the fact that in the first half of the manga, there is clearly something wrong with Yuuta and Tomohisa talks in such a way that makes it seem like he's taking advantage of him (and he is but also not really because it's complicated.) Either way, very engaging and provocative! Highly recommend.
Itadakimasu, Gochisou-sama
Fucking adorable.
Itsuka koi ni naru made
Well that was fucking cute as shit. Highly recommend!!
Kazoku Ni Narouyo
I actually read the prequel to this first and honestly, it ties in nicely. Some details from the original were changed in the prequel that I actually enjoy more, but I really liked this overall. Tomoe is best girl, that much is true. You can tell that the mangaka's style has come a long way since drawing this manga. The story was wholesome and like a nice cherry on top after reading the prequel. Great read!
Tomodachi Ijou no Koto, Shitai.
Honestly it's the same run-of-the-mill BL. Airhead, borderline dumb uke and awkward, emotional seme. The reconciliation wasn't where I was hoping it would go, but it is what it is.
Pink To Mameshiba
I personally don't like teacher x student relationships but this was okay given that kurokawa was 18 and shiba was the youngest he could possibly be for a teacher. The seme x uke dynamic was as typical as ever but it was entertaining nonetheless.
