FL was raised to be empress, but the emperor divorced her after sleeping with her that first night when he found out his dad died. Her dad disowned her because she was only ever a pawn to him. But then she found out she was pregnant even though the emperor had used contraceptives. So, she ran to her grandpa, who is awesome, and he took care of them until his land and title were taken away when her dad did some rebellion thing. So she is on the run and hiding kiddos eye color. The royal fam has red eyes. But then the emperor's gma dies and because she loved the empress she put in her will the lands and shot so emperor found her to get those back. Both emperor and her are under the impression that the other never loved the other, because of miscommunication and lies. Theor is a sweet baby angel child and pretends his mom is his aunt because she told him too. The emperor is all nice to her now and to Theor too. I am past where he finds out, the 2 got remarried (and still don't know about each other's feelings). Her dad is being a bitchy mongrel and conniving. Some concubine is in the palace because the nobles don't like that the empress is back. Also some suitor girl of the emperor is now a maid to empress but Theor keeps visiting her where she is locked up and calling her princess, which since he is the crown prince probably means she is a love interest for him which I don't like. I dunno her age, but if that's end game, it's another pedo story. Anyways, art is mediocre, kids cute, story is pretty good. 4.75/5️
