FL isekais into the body of a book antagonist (Erin or Ellin depending on the translation) who gets married to the novels male lead (Aiden or Eidin) at 10 years old. The original Erin was in love with Aiden, but he hated her and her clingyness and then he met the novels female lead Yulia at 20 years old and forced a divorce. The original Erin attempted to kill Yulia and was sentenced to death. So our Erin decides not to fall for Aiden and to prep for divorce. However he's being abused by his nanny which gives him a phobia of touch. She gets rid of the nanny. His parents are cold and distant, but she fixes that too. In the end, she tells him they're special friends but he obviously falls for the girl who made his nightmarish childhood bright again. The Duke and duchess leave them in the capital to run the Duchy, they kick out the elders. They invest in tons of businesses secretly so they don't owe anything to the elders. By 15 Aiden knows he's in love but he doesn't want to pressure Erin. By 18, they both kiss and she can't deny she loves him too, but it makes her more anxious to leave sooner so she won't get hurt. At 20, she gives him divorce papers. He becomes infuriated and tears them to shreds. She continues with planning to leave, but can't help but worry about how badly he's taking things. She allows him 2 weeks before he has to sign the papers and he says they have to actually act like husband and wife for those 2 weeks. So instead of innocent kisses, he starts passionately kissing her, and insinuating they should fuck, and flirting, and doting on her. He knows she likes him too because she acts jelly af when other girls go after him, so he doesn't understand why the divorce. Yulia is supposed to show up right after the 2 weeks is up. But right at the end of the 2 weeks she disappears to chase her shitty family outta town, and he goes ballistic. He desperately searches every hotel and area for her, soaked in rain, so when he finds her and she sees his desperation and he begs her not to leave him she gives in. She tell him that he can't ever fall for anyone else and he says if he does just kill him. They fuck, and go home all happy. Yulia shows up in like ch 50 and is lovely and sweet and Erin feels weird about making her an enemy so she tries being kind but apparently Yulia stayed at the dukeand duchesses manor on the way to the city and hit it off with them (Erin's inlaws) and it makes her sorta angry. Aiden hasn't outright shown interest in Yulia and still dotes on Erin but there have been a few panels where his gaze is clearly on Yulia and its sus.
Right now they just threw a ball to show they aren't getting divorced and love each other very much. They are also trying to help the former old lady princess get a divorce without pissing off the king.
I really liked this comic so far. The art started good in the promo, got bad in the first few chapters, but got better later on. The FL frustrates me because if she was just going to give in before Yulia showed up, she could have done so earlier and given herself an iota of happiness. But I get it. Love is scary, especially when you know there is someone out there supposedly fated for your lover. ML is unforgivable hot when he gets older. Also the dads mustache was a literal crime. A real travesty.
And now he got smashed on the head while protecting her, and has amnesia and doesn't trust her so the elders are rushing in to confuse him and separate them. Problem is she is pregnant and can't tell him because she doesn't wanna confuse him more. So she kidnaps him into a room in the mansion no one else can open so he can get to know her again, fall for her again, and maybe remember her. The amnesia is going on for so longgg.
