Cooking Wizard
How was that the ending? No really how? It felt so abrupt with no warning. Did the author or artist just get tired of it? FL is a tattoo artist who is also a food lover. One day, while eating food and reading the last chapter of a book about a prince who has ptsd from being poisoned by his step mom his whole life and loses his sense of taste and also turns villainous, she hears a noise outside. When trying to find the source, she trips on a fairy and falls down the stairs. The fairy uses a dragon scale meant to get her the cure for the princes taste problem to cure fl, but her soul absorbs it and she disappears to the world of the book into a body of a plant magic user who had just died. The fairy stays by her side and she starts a fruit business because fruit is too expensive in this world and she has magic. The prince who has ptsd has a aide who bought fruit from her because all ml eats is fresh fruit and veggies.magic can only be used in this world based on the magic you are born with, and you use jewelry with magic circles in them to use it. Except, FL can't stand this unblemished body being free of her tattoos, and decides to test out if tattooing the circles could let her use other magic types. And she can because the dragon scale gave her special abilities. Soooo she uses those abilities to cook. She makes lunch boxes. She also invites ml and his friends to live with her when she found out they were living outside. She promised the fairy she'd help ml with his eating problem and though they got off to a rocky start, he ate all the delish fruits and veggies. They leave for monster subjugation, and some pretty duke guy sends servant to get lunch box he's been hearing about. This duke is food obsessed. But he usually won't eat the same thing twice. Because she was sold out, the servant kidnaps her off to the duke's mansion and they force her to a cook a huge one for him. He eats it well, gives her jewels, and then forced her to come back daily. She at first is glad to see his reactions, but he keeps trying to commandeer her time and food and she wants to not work for only nobility. She refuses an offer to work at the mansion, he builds her a kitchen. ML and friends come back, and she uses leaving with them as an excuse to ghost the duke. (I have a feeling this will end poorly because now he doesn't like any other food). FL, just before leaving, finally succeeded in getting ml to eat something other than fruits and veggies, mostly cuz he is falling for her. It's just icecream, but it was a cute moment. Now, on the trip, he os to the point where he can ear cooked food if it's the one she was just eating. The encounter a monster, and the shock makes her vomit and he freaks out thinking she has been poisoned. She reassures him that she hasn't been and that she wants to continue on the journey. Then, he gets drunk and asks why she looks at him so affectionately and asks if she is his girlfriend before passing out. This is around where I left off. The art is okay, not 100%. The story is 100%. The FL has more personality than a lot of main characters in other isekai, and her real world experience and personality don't change in the isekai world which is a nice change from other stories. I really enjoyed this story so far. 4.9/5

Started reading but wasn't captivated so put it back on tbr for now. Meh changed My mind and just put it as a dnf. Won't rate it because I didn't get far enough to see if it would get better. The art isn't great. The story isn't my cup of tea. Another one I am surprised is so highly rated.

88 and 89 same chapter FL is a princess who is said to be the darkness to hee sisters light. So she is abandoned in the empresses palace and ignored by everyone but her one maid. She took care of her injured bro after he wound up in her worn down palace and he rewarded her with dresses but told her never to call him brother and that he'd always side with the sister supposedly of the light. Spoiler, sis is homunculus and the priest who had the oracle knew that all along and is also probably one. Her dad hates her mom for leaving but her mom was an actual prophet and dreamed not only that her baby was blessed and loved by the gods but that the dad would kill her baby one day so she ran away. FL ends up accidentally using magic and ends up in room with boy I'm chains and he helps her out and they bond. He's ML 1, and apparently her destiny. ML 2 is the pope's heir who can tell something is off with the sis. Anyways, after returning from being stuck with ML 1 she overhears bro 2 talking about the cloak he gave her as "putting it in the trash", and so she decides to cut off all remaining feelings for her family. However they just want her more for it and to quell their regret. I left off just as ML came back into the picture after a 5 year time jump after he helped to make his friend the new emperor of their nation. Anyhow, the story is good. The vehement hatred from FL is understandable but I feel like it's been unnecessary in some scenes. I especially felt bad for younger bro, until he thought internally about how he just wanted her as something of his own. Like an object. So then yeah they all sucked. Feel like ML1 killing tons of people in war is gonna be overlooked as it always is. At least ML2 hasn't mass murdered anyone just to build a nation big enough to impress a girl. Anyways, art is okay, story is okay. 4.7/5

Wait for a better translation of 119, and if you see anything translated by "endmanga" just close it and wait for a different translation. Its unbearable. FL was the most dedicated strait-laced and obedient knight to the Emperor, but still ends up executed for no reason. So, when she’s reincarnated, she wonders why she has to live that way again. She could save those knights who were friendly to her when she knew that they were going to die, and she could actually buy a house instead of living in the most measly apartment money could buy, and she could wear…gasp…a dress or even new clothes in general. But because she didn’t do any of that in her previous life, she’s totally inept. Art is okay, story is okay. I like it so far. It’s got some comedic moments. 4.8/5
The Dragon Prince's Bride
I Will Become the Villain's Poison Taster
FL dies(?) An ordinary office worker who read novels at work and ends up in one as a villainess in prison waiting to be beheaded. Assassins are sent to kill her before that, so she discovers that she can safely drink poison and it tastes good! One day a guy shows up and makes her drink poison just as another assassin comes-this time with a knife. She tells the guy that if she tastes the poison and survives he had to save her from the prison. When they get out, he's a hot black haired sorcerer. His name is Reniel/Leniel. She knows she is in a book but never heard this characters name. She tells him she wants to meet the big villain Wayne and be his poison taster or tell him future events she knows. Well, he takes her to his store and makes her work there. Mostly because the villainess whose body she took over had performed some golden magic that was supposed to somehow help her target the story's FL or maybe the villain guy...hard to be sure. So she works with a bunch of villains, testing poisons and sorting them and working at the shop. There's a blond knight guy, Dillon, the stories ML, who tries catching her, because apparently OG Giselle tried killing FL of story/his lover, and strangles her with mana leaving a bruise/tracking mark. There are 3 kinds of magic it seems. Black magic, typically only for villains, white magic, that the temples and "good guys" use, and golden magic, which is whatever was done that summoned FL into Giselles body. Reneal saves her and they move shop to a villain city where she makes new friends- a knight, a mad scientist doctor cursed to look like a kid, and a witchy curse making old lady. Also the delivery boy from the other shop is apparently the witch ladies wannabe apprentice. Reneal is, not so secretly to anyone else, the real villain leader of the black magic sorcerers. The "wayne" that Giselle knows of from the names in the book was a fake figurehead, but anything mentioned in the book as Wayne was actually about Reneal. Reneal protects her and all the black wizards. Giselle was put into a body that has no "cup" to hold magic, but her soul is apparently magic friendly or something. So she becomes able to talk to reneals butterfly familiars and a haunted doll eventually. Apparently this "cup" is the amount of magical power you are born with and the only way to change that is to trust someone of the opposing magic type enough to use their magic and dig deeper into the cup without trying to steal your power or break your cup. Reneals cup was broken by the og FL. Which shocks Giselle because in the story he was obsessed and stalking FL and locks her in a basement to watch her 24/7 while she is naked. But come to find out it is OG FL who is obsessed with Reneal. She seeks him out after nearly killing him along with their "teacher" in an effort to "purify" his black magic. It broke his cup and the teachers, and the teacher cannot perform magic unless using a magic stone (which he does), and FL is shocked when Reneals powers are stronger than hers even with a broken cup. I think her teacher was trying to have her take Reneals powers for himself or something. Idk. But the only way Reneal is surviving with his broken magic cup is by using a special flower garden that rejuvenates him when he overexerts himself. Oh yeah, that teacher was a child abuser. Reneal knows our Giselle isn't really Giselle, but she doesn't ever tell him another name so eventually he says he is naming her "Giselle" not the character but her. She also starts developing the physical appearance of her previous body, with the blond hair growing black roots and her double lids turning to monolids. Reneal has her move into his house for protection after she is almost killed and gets that tracking bruise, because the flowers or something tangle up magic and make the place impossible to find. FL and her teacher poison and entire town with a specific poison to make it appear like the black sorcerers are behind it, even though Reneal was going to distribute a antidote for free to everyone without them knowing who gave it to them just so Giselle would sleep comfortably at night. But the FL used it as propaganda to make white mages look good when they "cured" everyone. It was really an excuse to give Dillon and his knights a reason to go attack all the villains full-force again. I left off just after the found the ghost in the doll who originally told Reneal about the flowers that could keep him from dying in exchange for a body. But the ghost is resentful because he put her in a cursed doll instead of a body and left her in the swamp. Apparently the ghost is of a sorcerer with the same magical affinity as Giselle, and so she becomes a helpful source of info. But reveals that the fact she has such a high magical friendliness and capability but absolutely no magical cup to actually use that to defend herself, she is basically like catnip for other magicians. Or a steak. Not sure. But this leads Giselle to thinking that Reneals very very overt affections and flirting and interest in her is just because of that. The season ended around that point I think. At first I wasn't sure I would like this, because the FL is too unserious. Like, in her situation, she took everything in a blase and unserious manner. It doesn't seem like whoever she was in her previous life via flashbacks has that same kind of personality, so it seemed a bit strange. But the story was interesting, the art was not bad (it's actually pretty good especially with the faces and the clothes and expressions, though the bodies are sometimes a little odd). ML seemed interested in her from the start, which was a bit strange, but *shrug*. He's cute so... I'm guessing that the book was told from the narcissistic POV of the OG FL, which is why everyone is obsessed with and loves her even when the reality of things is similar but off from what the novel showed. Anyways story=good. Art=good. 4.8/5️
