The Reason Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke's Mansion
This was a really good story, and Noah was extremely funny out of nowhere. The main character wasn't helpless, the plot was mysterious enough to keep my interest, and the love was *chef's kiss*. I want to read more by this author.
I Stole The Male Lead's First Night
After waking up as the side character of the side character of the side character, our main lead goes to the books lead characters birthday, gets super drunk and sleeps with the duke. The man who just happens to be the male lead. In her past life, something similar happened, and she vowed to never let it happen again. After all, the duke belongs to etoile and she's also Ripleys best friend now. She can't take a man that isn't hers. Except he is determined to take her. This is super cute. I love the art. I love the characters. I love that i find myself saying "not another ripley plan". This story is sweet and fun. Although, I agree that the duke totally took advantage of a drunk girl and the story overlooks that.
The Monster Duchess and Contract Princess
Completed. FL is only used by her family for her sister's benefit. The family raises her to study for her sisters benefit, and they abuse and neglect her. Until finally, one day, they sacrifice her in a fiery gazebo so her darkness magic will transfer to the "rightful owner", her older sister Eli. All because her older sister has straw blond hair and green eyes and her family has sacrificed the silver haired kids forever now in order to keep the family power strong. However, she falls out of the gazebo and fire, saved by the darkness and the several sacrificed children contained within it. She gets the full power, not her sister. And she decides to try and get out of that house where they want to kill her. She holds the fact she's the one with powers over her sister's head in order to keep her quiet because if the family knew then maybe they'd love her more than Eli instead. Leslie, FL, goes to the temple, and finds out about the sacrifice and decides to go ask the Monster duke to adopt her on a contract basis. It's difficult, though, because there's a law that a child has to stay with their family, and Leslie family are also nobles so she can't stay right away. The Duke is a strong woman who everyone calls monster because she is tall and strong and now also because she wears a mask to cover a scar on the side of her face. She's one of the strongest families in the empire and even the emperor is said to listen to her. The Duke sends Leslie home after healing her and her staff, husband, and eldest son fall for her cuteness. She agrees to help as soon as she can. Meanwhile, the Duke starts to suspect she's got power and plots a scenario where they go to the temple in separate carriages, then have hers set on fire to force her to use her power. She realizes this is what he's plotting when the fire starts, and doesn't use her power, however Eli also realized and for selfish reasons Alerts the guards (the duke's eldest son included) about the carriage being on fire. They rescue her and don't send her back this time, and Leslie's father, convinced of her power regardless because of some journal shit his ancestors wrote, asks for a trial. Anyways, everything is being manipulated behind the scenes by the Emperor's mother, who wants a specific prince on the throne so she can rule as she always desired. How? By bringing the kingdom down. Other older brother is magician and helps teach her and his friend is part of the sworn enemy of their family but he's a good guy who treated Leslie well in the temple once and his is the only holy power that could quell her magic should it ever go berserk. His name is Conrad and he is a sweet little guy whose father sucks, mom is sick, and little bro is cute but needs his support. Conrad is the ML. Hooray! Anyways, the art in this wasn't my favorite but it was not bad. The story was the best part. It was both dark and childish at the same time. The translation got really bad towards the last 30 chapters, but it was readable. I think the story was pretty cute, but maybe not as highly rated as it is on this site. 4.7/5
My Mom Entered a Contract Marriage
Super wholesome! FL is an 8 year old girl whose mother is a former noble who married a man who ran off with all their money and left them destitute. FL works every single day and her mother becomes a drunkard and occasionally beats her. She still loves her mom and thinks she is like a goddess among humans because she is so pretty. She forgives her for everything because "she's going through alot". Her mom even tells her that she would have been better off if FL was dead. Then suddenly one day, FL's mom wakes up in a panic and her whole demeanor changes. She hugs and shows a ton of affection for her daughter suddenly. She thinks the alcohol finally made her mom crazy. But really her mom traveled back in time after being killed in the future. FL still doesn't know that. Her mom says she needs to meet the emperor and needs the hidden money our FL has been saving for rent. When FL refuses she pretends to be okay with it but then steals the money and disappears. After working that day, mad for the first time at her mom, FL is approached by a coach and a guard. They manipulate her by saying her mom is sick so she can go to the palace with them. Her mom ended up signing a contract marriage agreement with the emperor and now she is a princess. The contract is only until the crown prince, the emperor's nephew, comes of age and can take the throne. Meanwhile our FL wins the hearts of literally everyone. Took the crown prince a sec and he stood her up at a tea party, but now he's a protective older brother. She seems to have a 6th sense for danger and senses when someone has really bad intentions or when something really bad may happen. She meets the son of the family that is pretty much the princes enemy and has been attempting to assassinate him, and has a crush on him. The maid girl is descended from a family of crows and is my favorite. The crown prince misunderstood the emperor this whole time because he thought that was who was trying to kill him. But our FL and her mom are stirring things up and fixing relationships. FLs mom and the emperor seem to be....ahem...having a lot of meetings and getting bullied quite often. Hahaha. I love how this is seen through the naive eyes of a child and how much comedy that brings knowing what she is oblivious to. Anyways, just left off with the fjord kid and crown prince coming face to face and the FL breaking up the fight and forcing Fjord to let her treat his injury from where the prince punched him. I love this. I wasn't sure that ai would from the start, but it is such a refreshing take following the kid of the person who was reincarnated and in a contract marriage rather than the person themselves. FL is so oblivious in the most wholesome of ways. Honestly, I can finally give another 5/5*
The Princess in the Dumpster
Lowered the rating because a parental like figure is now the love interest. I hate that. FL's mom died after giving birth to her, and she's been living alone in an abandoned run down castle alone ish ever since. Her mom was a certain race who exists on memory alone. Also their race dies if they have a child with any other race. So, somehow, when she died, the woman and her child were forgotten completely. That child is the emperor's youngest daughter. She lived like a wild animal, with a snake, cat, and dragon for friends. Also, a winter spirit had watched over her all along. She was blessed with jewel eyes that allow her to see the colors of people's emotions and also see the future to some extent such as black splotches on someone's arm when they are about to be injured there. There are 3 other jewel eye types and those kids were all used and abused for their abilities. When the emperor's other kids stumble upon her, as does a knight, the emperor approaches her and feels immediate fondness for her and knows she is his daughter. She, like a stray cat, does not warm up quickly to him or anyone else. Right now, I am at the end of season 2 where her demon friend joins her as she leaves/is kidnapped by the moon god who wants to destroy all of humanity. Okay now we've time jumped. And I'm really reallllllly worried that all these hints are that the spirit who raised her, literally from infancy, is the love interest. I hope not. But they are hinting at it. Spoiler alert: he is. I hate it. So tempted to drop it. This story is cute and wholesome for the most part. I like how the author did not make her immediately trust her family and still has her dealing with the struggles of relying on others due to her childhood trauma. The art is only okay. Still, I found myself looking forward to more chapters so 4.8/5 ️
Éminence Grise Female Lead Is Trying to Make Me Her Stepmom
After being isekai'ed into a world she helped write as Daisy, the FL is mad that she's broke. Why is she broke? She wrote the story? Well, her and 10 others. So, she tries to make money and survive, but her asshole friend begged her for money and so she gave him the one valuable thing she had. And of course, he then sells her out when he's thought a thief. But the FL know the story, and tells the Duke Dane that much and that his daughter is destined to have 10 love interests that are going to make her life hellish. The duke believes her, because she knows things he's never told anyone. But when he employs her as a nanny to keep all the suitors away, she doesn't remember them all. After all, she was one of 10 writers. But she'll know them when she sees them. Then again, the main character of the book is only a toddler. Some of the love interests aren't even born. And this toddler is quite the schemer. I think this is hilarious and fun and cute. The baby is adorable. FL is funny and relatable, but also a little dense.
