Ch 40 as of 15/12/21 - FL is Seong Ah Park, 18yo high school student, shaman for 5 yrs. - Jiho Pyo 18yo. Seong Ah's childhood friend. - Ahyeong Park 18yo. Seong Ah's best friend turned backstabber. - ML is Gyeonwoo Bae 18yo, someone who is close to death. He hates shamans and considers them all to be frauds. He’s transferred schools 5x already. - After ML rejected FL as a fraud shaman, FL decides to secretly help him anyway when he transfers to her high school. - ML doesn’t recognise her as the shaman and she slips a charm into his school bag while sticking close by him all day to help dispel or avoid evil spirits. - ML notices how comfortable, calm and relaxed it feels while FL is around him. He starts to open up to her more. - The case of the school library ghost. - School excursion to Jeju Island. It’s ML’s 1st ever school trip. FL had a premonition about a bad accident from a great height. She brings a bag full of charms to ward off evil spirits. She also wore a special charm bracelet. - Courage test: FL and ML’s group are led by the librarian. When one student gets injured, the librarian asks ML to go with her to get help. After 2hrs FL knows something is wrong and she goes after ML, stopping him just in time from walking off a cliff edge while the librarian disappears like a ghost. - FL often collapses and Jiho always watches out for her. It’s due to overwork as a shaman since ‘the god I serve is too big in comparison to my vessel’. FL asked Jiho in the past to take care of her as she expects to collapse a few times per month. - ML invites FL to go on the cable car ride with him on their last day at Jeju Island. An evil spirit with FL’s face causes a disturbance but she dispels it with a charm. - FL wants to tell ML everything but Jiho isn’t sure ML can be trusted. - ML is in hospital after a minor car accident but doesn’t wake up. FL performs an exorcism there but faints and is carried away by Jiho. ML’s Mum finds a talisman on the bed. - FL’s shaman mother visits FL and tells her to stop helping ML and to not interfere with fate. When FL insists on helping ML, her shaman mother visits him in the hospital and dispels the evil spirit herself. - FL tells Jiho to call the temple auntie if she collapses in front of ML. The evil spirits from ML are repelled by the talismans and are starting to stick to her more. - FL does collapse in the library with ML and Jiho makes the call. Later ML sees Jiho outside of school and follows him. ML finds out FL is at the temple he’s been to before with his mother. - Afterwards ML completely ignores FL but a few days later he does stop by the temple to confirm briefly that she’s the shaman. - ML plans to transfer schools again. FL has a premonition he’ll die on a bus trip. FL and Jiho go to the bus terminal to stop ML from boarding the bus. FL confesses her feelings to ML as well. ML admits he was running away from FL when he learnt his evil energy was hurting her. He didn’t hate the fact that she’s a shaman. - ML’s transfer is cancelled and he’s back with FL and the rest. - ML finally responds to FL’s confession. He likes her too and they’re now dating. - FL finds out that someone has written an article about her as a child shaman and linked her to the temple she’s working at now. - Through the article, her birth mother turns up at the temple claiming to want to be reunited. In reality FL’s birth parents just want to scam her for money. - FL’s shaman mother told her that she would take care of her birth mother. - FL later told ML the full story about her parents who disappeared after a scandal broke of their own making around FL’s TV appearances as the child shaman. Her shaman mother is the one who always gave her the love and affection she needed. - Ahyeong leaks a photo of FL showing her face and dressed as a shaman to the reporter who writes another article. - FL has to face the trolls and bullies at school who think she’s a fraud shaman. - FL’s shaman mother obtains the email address of the photo informant from the reporter. FL recognises the email as the one for Ahyeong. When FL confronts Ahyeong at school about it, the trolls and bullies turn on Ahyeong. - The next morning at school, FL finds several ripped up talismans left on her desk and Ahyeong arrives to say she did it. FL tells Ahyeong to beware as all of the evil spirits that were trapped by the talismans are now attached to her. - Accidents and misfortune occur to Ahyeong and her big sister. They eventually seek help from FL but her shaman mother demands a high fee for her services. - After Ahyeong is involved in a bad accident with a car, does her big sis give the money to FL who then performs the ritual at the hospital and gives Ahyeong a charm bracelet. - FL’s birth parents surprise FL and ML as they’re heading home. ML convinces the birth parents to leave FL alone.

Ch 22 as of 18/02/22 - FL is Princess Soru who attracts ghosts and monsters. - She’s the granddaughter of King Garyun. Her father was the 3rd Prince who seduced the King’s concubine. After she was born, her parents were killed by the King. She was given to the lowest servant and sent away to live in a remote, secluded part of the palace. - FL was considered cursed as anyone close to her died. - FL has the ability to heal with her blood. - She’s actually a celestial being. Ghosts and monsters are attracted to her because they can become human if they eat her. - FL lost most of her celestial powers (and her sight) when her divine eyes were taken by a monster (goblin?). This monster is biding his time before returning to devour FL. - ML is Jahyeon, a war hero with exceptional martial arts skills. He’s the eldest son of a warrior family with waning fortunes. - ML was tricked by the King into an arranged marriage with FL. ML thought he would be wed to Princess Garan if he did well in the battlefield for a year. ML wants to take revenge against the King for treating him like a dog. - ML has the ability to ward off ghosts and monsters. - FL begs to stay by his side because for the 1st time in her life there are no ghosts near her. She can finally live in peace without the threat of ghosts harming or killing those around her. - Biryeong, ML’s Lieutenant and close aide. - To increase ML’s political power and influence, Biryeong compiled a list of wealthy merchants and notable officials to approach. These people all have health issues and FL can help by healing them. Soon there is a steady flow of visitors to ML’s estate to see FL. - FL with her low self esteem and soft heart, is overjoyed and grateful that she can be of use and help people. She doesn’t mind how many small cuts she has to make, if it means she’s helpful to ML whom she considers her saviour. - At the wedding of ML and FL, a group of disguised goblins attacked and tried to kidnap FL. They were forced to retreat because of ML. The goblins were under orders from a monster masquerading as a beautiful man. This man has been killing random people by removing their hearts to eat. - The Judge and Yoran … - They’re investigating the murders and searching for the goblins. - The murder suspect is a goblin as it must eat 1000 human hearts to become human. Alternatively the goblin could eat a celestial being. - Hanbi, the most influential figure in the royal court and the closest man to the King. Previously he had schemed against ML. - ML and Hanbi meet secretly. In exchange for curing Hanbi’s disease, ML will have Hanbi’s support in the royal court. - Yeom, FL’s loyal and caring maidservant. - When ML is begged by Yeom to allow FL to rest, he’s shocked to hear that she’s receiving visitors even while unconscious. He rushes to see FL and she appears to be on the brink of death. - Some of the servants had formed a group to secretly steal FL’s blood and flesh each night to use for their own benefit. Many wounds covered her entire body and were stitched poorly, allowing them to become infected. The servants filled the room with opium smoke to numb FL’s pain and senses. - ML is furious and punishes a couple of servants he knows were directly involved by whipping them. Biryeong offers to manage the investigation into the rest of the servants and anyone else who could be involved. ML blames himself for setting a bad example from the start with how he treated FL as less than human and more like livestock. - As ML waits by FL’s bedside, she wakes up. - ML asks why she didn’t ask him for help. She didn’t know she could ask and seems pleased to know she can now (he recalls that he told her to live like she was dead). - ML is sorry for what happened and wants to compensate her. All she wants is to touch his face as she can’t see him clearly with her eyes. When he insists she ask for more from him, FL says he is the sun to her and all a sun needs to do is simply exist. He doesn’t need to do anything for her and she doesn’t expect him to. - The monster man has been killing and eating the hearts of those who stole FL’s blood and flesh. His emotions are developing as he consumes more human hearts. He feels anger for the 1st time. - ML stops visitors coming to his estate while FL is recovering. An official who supports the King spreads rumours among the people about a miracle cure. Soon many are knocking at the gates asking for help.
