He moved there a year ago. - Lee Ju-yul, ML’s younger brother. He has the same ability as ML. He didn’t hide his ability, unlike ML. Because of that, their parents put Ju-yul into a mental hospital for a year. He’s obsessed with ML who was the only one who tried to protect him in their family. - He’s now an executive of Sapa, a mafia group. - ML and Ju-yul were abused by their father who suspected they weren’t his real children. Only Ju-yul was neglected by their mother. She was always thinking about another man, Lee Seongil. - After Ju-yul left the mental hospital and came home, he almost raped ML but was stopped by their father. - Their parents died in a car accident while taking Ju-yul to another mental hospital. ML suspects Ju-yul killed them. - Mukya 27yo became a Sapa executive 2yrs ago. ML can’t read his thoughts, which is a first for ML. There are sometimes small hazy shadows that ML sees around Mukya. - Lee Taehyung, a cop that ML worked with in the past. - Did ML’s father have the same ability that helped Taehyung’s father get promoted quickly in the police? - Eugene 21yo, Taehyung’s stepbrother (Eugene’s father married Taehyung’s mother). He is psychometric: he can read thoughts left behind in objects. He inherited this ability from his mother. - Taehyung took care of ML and the funeral arrangements for ML’s parents. Ju-yul had disappeared and ML was in shock and alone. That’s when ML told Taehyung about his ability. ML started to help with police work. After a year, ML decided to leave the city and opened a cafe in the country. - ML first meets Mukya when he comes to the cafe with his men disguised as cops. Sacks of coffee beans hiding drugs were delivered. ML knew something was strange when the type of coffee beans were different to what he’d ordered. - Mukya kisses ML and asks ML to go out with him in exchange for not killing ML. - A high school student is after the drugs and attacks ML. The student is knocked out by ML who ties him up. - The student is suspected of murdering his parents. ML contacts Taehyung to come pick up the student. - Mukya brought sashimi for ML and Taehyung is there. - Taehyung warns ML to stay away from Mukya. Taehyung thinks it’s a waste of ML’s ability in the countryside. He wants ML to return to Seoul. - ML thinks he could be “normal” if he’s with Mukya. - ML decides to move back to Seoul. Mukya is there to pick ML up. - ML arrives at what was his parents’ house. He discovers an intruder has been staying at the empty house. ML kicks him out. - ML visits Taehyung at the police station. The intruder is also there and ML finds out the intruder is Eugene. - ML lets Eugene stay at his place until he finds somewhere else. - Mukya stays overnight on the couch. He plans to stay while Eugene is there. - Taehyung shows ML a photo to confirm it’s Ju-yul. The photo was taken outside the Ebisu Hotel that’s run by Sapa. - ML goes to the hotel to find Ju-yul. There’s an illegal casino undergound that’s managed by Ju-yul and his men. - ML is let in by Ju-yul’s men as they think he’s a prostitute. Ju-yul has been sourcing male prostitutes that look like ML. - ML wants Ju-yul to confirm whether or not he killed their parents. Ju-yul refuses as whatever he says, ML thinks he did it anyway. - ML leaves even though Ju-yul tells ML not to go. Mukya arrives as Ju-yul’s men catch ML and he makes them let ML go. - ML goes home. Later Eugene and Mukya come to ML’s place. Then Ju-yul returns for the first time in 2yrs. ML had locked the door to Ju-yul’s room which he smashes open. ML coughs up blood in reaction to the horrible words that come out from Ju-yul’s room. - Ju-yul and Mukya suddenly get calls from Sapa, and they have to leave. Eugene is notified by Taehyung that the Sapa team leader of the Ebisu Hotel casino was found dead in the parking lot. - The naked and dismembered body was dumped by an unknown man. ML will look at the body tomorrow. - ML returns home. When he wakes up, both Mukya and Ju-yul are there. They go out for breakfast then part ways. - ML saw the words “K3” (the drug) and “Mukya” on the body. He also saw “suicide” on Taehyung. He goes to the crime scene and sees “dealer” and “revenge.” ML hides when he hears Mukya and 2 other men. Mukya calls out to ML when the other men leave. He saw ML’s motorcycle there. - They have dinner. Mukya says it wasn’t him when ML asks him about the casino murder case. ML decides to agree to go out with Mukya, despite the risks. Mukya takes ML to a hotel that he runs. They have sex for the first time. (Ch 26-28) - Mukya leaves a keycard to the hotel room for ML to use whenever ML wishes. As Mukya’s private room, it has no words. - ML leaves the hotel and follows a guy to an underground bar after ML saw the word “K3.” ML buys the K3 drug from a dealer there after pretending he’s a male “prostitute” from the “district” who was referred by “RJ.” ML is given a free K3 sample to take right away with alcohol. - ML returns to the hotel and hallucinates about his father and Ju-yul. Mukya finds ML and the drugs. ML is cold and scared, and tries to seek comfort by fondling Mukya. They have sex until the effects of the drug wear off. ML tells Mukya that he’s not a drug addict and explains he was trying to help the police. - The police find the underground bar is destroyed and closed down after ML tipped off Taehyung. ML arrives and confirms the dealer is one of the dead bodies. Mukya admitted to ML earlier that he got rid of the bar and told them to stop dealing drugs.
