Ch 63 as of 15/03/22 - Choi Mun-Hyeok killed Seo Yeonjin? - Choi Mun-Hyeok, “Mad Dog” - After their orphanage was demolished, Choi vowed to protect the orphan children (oldest girl Jeong-A, young boys Jun-Ha and Jun-Hu). TBC: they were all adopted by the Seongdong family who were after the orphanage director but he’d run away. - Choi was ordered to have a silicon ball implanted in his penis by a previous boss, Wu Cha-Gang. This boss also liked to be choked and tied up. Choi is haunted by his unrequited feelings for Wu. - Seo Yeonjin - He fell in love with Choi when he watched Choi fighting. - He has a wife Mo-Ran (childhood friend) and a son Seonjin, but it’s for appearances only. - When Seo was a boy, he found his mother’s body after she hung herself. Both he and his mother Song Rie were earlier shocked to discover his father sleeping with another man (Jeong Mu). - Wu Cha-Gang, Vice President of the Seongdong family. - The family were a large criminal gang that was influential across Seoul. Wu died allegedly in a dispute between gangs. Choi was Wu’s LH man and was sold to the illegal underground fight scene. - Jeong Wu-Hyeon, CEO of the Du group. He’s an underworld figure, and Seo’s friend but wants to be more than friends. - Seo sleeps with him in exchange for info on Wu Cha-Gang, then for info on Jeong Mu. Seo keeps provoking Choi by letting him know each time Seo sleeps with Jeong Wu-Hyeon. - Jeong Mu, the only man stronger than Wu that was allowed to sleep with Wu. Jeong Wu-Hyeon is his nephew. - Kang Seo-Hyeok, Wu’s RH man who betrayed Wu and those loyal to Wu for Jeong Mu. He’s currently hiding in China. He has a wife Ling Mei and daughter. - Kim Ji-Ung, Integrity P.I. (detective) agency - Choi asks Kim (former gang brother) to let him know when Kang Seo-Hyeok shows up. - Seo watches a video that was secretly taped of Wu and Choi having sex. Choi professes his love for Wu. This video is most likely why Wu was killed as he was known as Jeong Mu’s man. - No longer protected by the fight club, thugs sent by Jeong Mu come after Choi. He beats them up. - Choi mentioned his adopted sister likes to read. Seo gives him a bunch of new books to give to her. - Unknown to Seo, Choi lost his 15th fight when he was distracted by the glint from Seo’s watch. - In a plan arranged between Seo’s father and Jeong Mu, a fake ex-employee used as a decoy was sent to attack Seo and was stopped by Choi. A fake security guard then stabbed Choi and ran away with the decoy. The CCTV in the area was turned off at the time. - Seonjin visits Choi in hospital with a large basket of fruit. He meets Jun-Hu, one of Choi’s adopted younger brothers. - Seo asked Choi about his missing pinkie on his right hand. Jeong Mu promised to return Wu to Choi if he chopped it off. It was a lie as Wu’s body was later discovered by fishermen when they pulled their nets from the ocean. - Mo-Ran arrives with Seonjin for a play date at Choi’s place. - She tells Choi about Song Rie who saved Mo-Ran as a child from her abusive father. Seo and Mo-Ran want to avenge Song Rie’s death which they blame on Seo’s father. - Seo is his father’s greatest achievement and sole weakness. His father never loved Seo and just saw him as his perfect heir. - Seo wants to ruin everything his father has built by destroying himself. He plans to die. Mo-Ran will divorce Seo before then and take custody of Seonjin. Then Seo’s father will lose both his son and his grandson. - Choi intends to disrupt their plans so that Seo doesn’t die. - Mo-Ran gives Choi a watch that Jeong Mu left behind for Seonjin when they met at a restaurant bathroom. Choi recognises the watch as belonging to Wu. - Choi asks Seo to not get involved in anything Choi does for a while. Choi and Kim Ji-Ung start taking out those men who betrayed them in the past. Someone else starts to do the same … - Jin-Heung family (Jeong Mu’s gang?) have disbanded, with some members working at Saheung Pharmaceuticals that’s a rival company to Seo’s. Jeong Mu is investing in Saheung through the Du group. - Kang Seo-Hyeok leaves China with his family and arrives in South Korea. - Nine Dragons gang - Seo arrives with Seonjin at Choi’s place. He sends the kids to play outside. Seo frankly admits that he’s jealous because Choi lives in the place left to him by Wu. Later Seonjin returns to see Choi and Seo being affectionate with eachother. - Seo and Mo-Ran agree to bring the divorce earlier now that Seonjin knows about Seo and Choi. - Jun-Hu sees Seonjin by himself at the playground and invites him to stay at their place. On the way there, the boys are chased by 2 men. Jun-Hu sees Kang Seo-Hyeok waiting outside their place. Kang helps to get rid of the 2 men. - Kang gives Jun-Hu a mobile for Choi to call him on. - Seo’s father pressures Jeong Mu to kill Choi. - Choi asks Seo to be his lover. Seo tries to distance himself emotionally and run away, but Choi holds onto Seo. Choi insists Seo isn’t a replacement for Wu. Choi says he’s willing to die together with Seo if that’s what it takes to be with him. - Given the media scrutiny over the divorce that would likely target Choi’s family too, Seo arranged for his adopted siblings to go to the US with Mo-Ran and Seonjin. - Seonjin says he wants Seo to be happy so he can hate Seo with no reservations. He will never forgive Seo.

Ch 28 as of 18/09/21 - some really bad translation

Ch 30 as of 28/09/21 - Sa Dowon (nickname: coral snake) is a successful travel photojournalist. He’s attracted to 24yo Seol Boem’s looks from the start and pursues him. - Boem (nickname: white / snow tiger) has some skeletons in his closet. His father is an abusive alcoholic. - Mr Kwon, an uncle / family friend who is a lecherous creep, set Boem up with his streaming service 3yrs ago. Mr Kwon owns the apartment Boem lives in and he sees Boem as his possession too. - Boem was a sculpture student but gave it up. - Dowon and Boem discover they are fans of the other. Dowon tips generously with Boem’s camboy shows. When he felt at his lowest, Boem found solace in Dowon’s books. - Dowon has a brother (bitch eyes) who’s a lawyer. - Dowon was in a bad accident before returning to Korea. He still needs physio treatment for it. - 1st kiss (ch 9) - 1st sex (ch 12) - Dowon stops a group of men from attacking Boem who had rejected one of them before. Boem saves Dowon before he gets beaten up. Dowon’s brother helps prosecute the lot of them. - Boem is setup by Mr Kwon where he’s outside trapped halfway in a hole in a wall. Dowon arrives to help a relieved and scared Boem before any strangers come. - Dowon is offered to work on an idyllic European island for a year. He initially turns it down but the offer still stands. - Boem and Dowon do their 1st official collab show together.
