Ch 80 as of 05/01/23 - also on Tapas ** FL in rabbit form is super cute ** lots of unnecessary padding in the story - FL is Vivi Ravien 18yo, a rabbit. - She was thrown away by her family and left to die in Black Panther territory. Normally beastkin can change into human form and pheromones appear by 3yo but FL is still unable to do so. Her noble family consider her to be a useless and shameful disgrace. - The temple priest said FL was cursed by the God of Beasts. - Later it is found FL’s pheromones have the ability to heal others. - Her healing ability includes making others fall sleep and anaesthesia. - ML is Lord Ahin Grace, a black panther shapeshifter who finds FL and takes her in. He killed the men who brought her to the black panther territory. He is the successor to the clan leader. - His strong pheromones are for dominating others. - One night, ML is attacked and injured by wolves. After he's treated, he sleeps with FL beside him. He detects pheromones from her. In the morning to his surprise, his wounds are healed. - ML takes FL with him to visit the temple. FL runs away when she sees the temple priest. She hates the temple and the priest. - Ludd Iberin: personal servant and close aide to ML. - Maymi: maid, guard and escort assigned to FL. - Lady Valence Grace: ML’s mother and current head of the clan. After detecting pheromones from FL, Valence is slowly helping FL with her human awakening. She teaches FL how to practise controlling her pheromones. She also gives FL a book on pheromones to read. - ML ordered Ludd to investigate the rabbit family. Ludd reports that no one has been reported missing from the rabbit territory. - After a month living together, ML has FL write her name for him. - FL momentarily became a human while ML was sleeping. (Possibly reacting to his pheromones she smelled earlier?) - FL’s family send more men to find out what happened to her and to confirm she’s dead. They’re discovered by ML who learns FL is a shapeshifter but they call her a monster. The spies are all killed. - Meanwhile FL reads in the book that powerful pheromones may slow down shape shifting. A strange maid has been hovering suspiciously nearby and lunges for FL. The maid changes into a wolf but is actually a mixed breed with a panther. - The wolf kills itself after Maymi appears. FL falls from the balcony and lands on ML’s head. - ML’s family holds a ball and ML takes the rabbit FL as his partner to avoid dancing with anyone. He points out to FL the tiger, hyena and fox clans and their main characteristics. In the presence of such overwhelming pheromones, FL reacts strongly. Feeling dizzy, nauseous and in pain, she dashes from the ballroom. - FL collapses in an empty room but recovers to find she’s become human. She is only wrapped in a tablecloth when she is shortly found by the lion clan representative, Sir Lune Maniuntz. ML enters the room but FL has changed back to a rabbit. ML accuses Lune of trying to kidnap FL. - Herrington Restin, aide to Sir Lune - ML assigns Ash the black panther as FL’s other escort. - ML tells FL that he knows she’s a shapeshifter, and he’s been covering her with his pheromones to hide this from everyone. - FL changes into a human as ML sleeps after he came in close contact to cover her with his pheromones. She reverts back to a rabbit in the morning but ML finds some long white hairs in his bed. - At a meeting of the clans, ML asks Lune if anything unusual happened at the ball. Lune reveals nothing. - At a tea party, FL’s mother is shocked to hear ML has a pet rabbit. - ML takes FL on a secret trip to the wolf territory of Endelrus to investigate illegal pheromone drugs. The carriage is suddenly attacked by wolves. ML releases his strong pheromones and deals with the wolf shapeshifters alone. A window is smashed and FL inhales ML’s pheromones which make her body start to react. - Ash senses FL is in trouble and quickly takes her away from the carriage. They find refuge in a hut but are discovered by wolves. Ash fights them to protect FL but is badly injured. FL turns into a human and ML sees her as he enters the hut. FL cries over Ash and unknowingly heals Ash who falls asleep. - FL turns back into a rabbit and they continue on their way until they arrive at Endelrus. Lune and Herrington are also there. - At an inn, FL with Lune and Ash see a couple of hyena shapeshifters with a suspicious bottle. Lune confronts them, but the bottle is smashed into Lune’s back. A powder is released and Lune turns into a lion. ML and Ludd see FL, Lune (as a lion) and Ash running after the hyena shapeshifters. - ML finds FL and Lune (as a lion). They’re surrounded by mercenaries who seem to be involved with the illegal drugs. - ML disguises his red eye colour to fool the mercenaries and lets himself be captured with FL and Lune. - At the mercenaries’ hideout, ML unties himself and Lune. There’s some strange powder on FL’s paws that she might’ve inhaled. Before she changes into a human, ML escapes with her. - Herrington and Ludd come across the dead body of a drug addicted shapeshifter while looking for FL, ML and Lune. - In another building (the merchant guild?), ML hides in a closet with FL. She turns into a human. As the mercenaries search the building, a nice mercenary called Ril doesn’t reveal their hiding spot. With Ril’s help as a horse, ML takes FL to find a doctor after she collapses (overwhelmed by her pheromones?) - Lune is found by Herrington and returns to his human form. - The doctor (a capybara shapeshifter) confirms there is no sign of drugs. The issue is related to FL’s pheromones. She can take a stabiliser but this should only be used as a last resort. - FL calls out that she’s in pain and looks to ML for help. - He kisses her until the pain subsides as her body absorbs his pheromones. (Ch 40) - FL recovers after 2 days and is surprised she’s still in human form. - Later FL thinks the trigger for when she turns into a human is when she’s exposed to strong pheromones. The trigger for when she turns into a rabbit is when she releases her own pheromones. - Lune “kidnaps” FL and takes her to get some new clothes. At a restaurant for lunch, FL insists on going back to ML and leaves. ML has already found her and he takes her back to his estate. - Rileon, ML’s grandfather is visiting for ML’s bday. - He’s shocked to find FL as a rabbit in the library. He threatens to take her to the temple. FL releases her pheromones which puts Rileon and the nearby servants to sleep. She turns into a human after Rileon released his strong pheromones and takes a shirt from a servant to wear. - FL hides in the stables. Ril who has been accepted as a servant of the household, helps FL by finding clothes for her. - That night FL came out of the stables after hearing a noise and sees Varra, another black panther. ML arrives and stops Varra from approaching FL. Varra is Ash’s best friend. ML gives Varra to FL. - ML takes FL back to their bedroom. She refuses to sleep on the bed at first. ML ties her up in a blanket and puts her next to him. During the night FL wakes up to find a huge black panther beside her. She’s shocked when she realises it’s ML. - ML gives a pocket watch to FL that has a pherenium gem. ML has injected his pheromones into the gem which be used 3x. - ML is still investigating the drugs. Imprisoned at his estate are drug addicts caught in Endelrus. Pirates from the hyena territory brought in the drug. The drug is used in slums and assassin guilds. - The symptoms from the drugs include: - Elevated mood, forced pheromone activation, and awakened pheromones are sometimes stronger than the original pheromones - There is the possibility of a young shapeshifter yet to have their first shift manifesting a more superior pheromone. - FL could be immune to the drug if she was exposed to it as a child. - There is a ball in rabbit territory. ML refuses to let FL go with him. - She gets Ash to carry her and follow after his carriage. - She comes across Lune who offers to take her to the ball in his carriage. They arrive at the mansion. FL reacts to Lune’s pheromones overnight and turns into her human form. - Some rabbit children find FL with Ash. She lies about being a rabbit warrior on a secret mission. One of the children sees a graze on her hand and takes her to the doctor. It’s the capybara doctor who helped FL before. The child is her son Russell and his pheromones can read auras. The doctor Bensi Ginanna is also a professor at Belhelm Academy. - Rileon is the Dean of the Belhelm Academy. - Russell is a delayed shapeshifter like FL. - Bensi helps FL get ready for the ball. - Outside of the ball venue, FL comes across her mother Aven who is delighted to see FL in human form. Aven says abandoning FL was a mistake and hopes FL will forgive her. FL asks Aven about her curse and the drugs. Aven confirms the curse was false. The priest who made the claim was Aven’s relative. - When Aven doesn’t respond about the drugs, FL knows it must be true that Aven exposed FL to the drugs. - Suddenly a fire erupts, possibly from someone’s pheromones. - As everyone is evacuated, Aven orders her knights to capture FL. - Ash and ML arrive to stop them. - Later that night, ML is angry that FL endangered herself by leaving his estate. FL is upset at ML for never telling her anything even though he already found out so much about her. - FL had to leave to find the answers for herself. - ML suddenly has a high fever and collapses from a pheromone seizure. He refuses to change into a panther to ease the pain because he doesn’t want FL to react to his pheromones and change into a rabbit. FL tries to calm him down and they kiss which transfers her healing pheromones to him. - The Amon family is the head of the rabbit territory. - They hold a meeting with other high ranking shapeshifters. - When asked about FL the uninvited rabbit guest, Lune says she’s a dancer both he and ML are in love with. - Quinn, hawk shapeshifter and ML’s messenger bird. - He is also assigned as FL’s bodyguard. - FL leaves the rabbit territory with Ash, Quinn and Iberin. - Their carriage is ambushed by rabbit shapeshifters under orders to capture FL from Aven. ML knew this would happen and defeats the rabbits. He confronts Aven about the fire. Her husband wanted to destroy the merchant records of their drug smuggling. - FL’s brother and the family heir is dead. (How?) - That’s why Aven is desperate to have FL now even though FL was never entered on the family registry. - ML lets Aven live and returns to the black panther territory with FL.

Ch 18 as of 20/08/21 - Queen Ciara is bound to the throne as a puppet ruler by her uncle who has her younger brother hostage. Her uncle wants her to quickly marry his son Nocilan and produce an heir. - Landini is the human slave that stumbled across Ciara in her secret pet cemetery in the garden. She pretended he was her pet initially but has given him many opportunities to leave. - Ciara formally introduces Landini at a ball. - Owning a human becomes popular among the nobles. - Lady Roberta and Nerone (pet human) who commits suicide. - Landini takes Ciara away from her duties to enjoy the festival.
