The examiner is astounded at Ian’s double casting skill. - The 1st Mage: a legend among mages. He needs their help to make mana elixirs and care for his mother’s illness. Ian also wants to prevent Douglas from falling into Ragnar’s hands. - Ian returns to the Mogrian estate to meet the Crown Prince. - In the Crown Prince’s entourage, Ian uncovers Cecilia the 3rd class mage as a Coldwalker spy from the Coldwood Empire. She tried to test Ian but he overcame her magic with his. Ian shows Sir Oliver the mana tattoo on the back of Cecilia’s neck which was given to her at birth. - For a reward, Ian asked to stop by the old Ivory Tower. - At the ancient ruins of the old Ivory Tower, Ian enters a secret underground space. This means he can no longer recreate the spell to travel back in time. - The entourage arrive at the capital and are met by Herbert with an imperial order. Cecilia is to be put under the jurisdiction of the Ivory Tower. The mages will conduct the interrogation. - Ian is given his own residence at the capital. - Ian meets the Emperor for the first time. Ian is introduced to Princess Hiley. - Sir Oliver asks Ian which faction will he support. Ian says while he isn’t sure, he won’t be supporting Ragnar. - Ian agrees to train Sir Oliver to fight against mages. In exchange Sir Oliver gives Ian a necklace that was a gift from the late Empress. (The necklace can help clear the head?) - Explosions around the capital during the banquet are a diversion by the Coldwalkers while they locate Cecilia. Ian goes to her prison cell and finds her dead at the hands of Daniel, another Coldwalker. Ian kills Daniel to avenge the deaths of his mage friends at Daniel’s hands in Ian’s past life. - The credibility of the Tower is damaged and the Emperor orders all materials relating to the spy investigation to be handed over to the knights. For his role in stopping Daniel the spy, Ian is awarded the magic robe of Mitchell Greenriver, the 1st and last 5th class magician of the imperial family. - 5yrs later, Ian is a 5th class mage. His 1st assignment is against monsters swarming the Pierre territory in the east. Ian meets Sir Kalian Pierre in the territory soon after erecting a huge ice barrier that froze the monsters who entered from the mountain ranges. - Ian visits the great northern plains to investigate why the monsters don’t attack there. He meets the tribal king of sorcerers who has an oak mage staff that was marked with black magic by a mysterious woman. To avoid a prophecy that the tribes will be scattered and enslaved after a great war, black magic is the reason for the hordes of monsters attacking the south only. - Ian battles the tribal king, defeats him and takes the staff. He arrives back at the Pierre territory but collapses due to his depleted mana. He is unconscious for 3 days. When he wakes, he removes the black magic from the oak staff but coughs up blood soon after. It’s a sign that he’s attained 6th class as a mage, a rare feat that he also reached in his past life. - Ian receives letters from the Ivory Tower and the imperial family. His family are under protection at the imperial palace after his residence was attacked. The Emperor asks for Ian’s help to protect the Crown Prince and be his strength during the 3-country negotiations at the neutral city of Demidera. Ragnar and Herbert will also be attending. - Ian suspects Herbert of hidden intentions. He knows Herbert sent the attacker to his estate to keep Ian from going to Demidera. Ian casts a 6th class spell that clones himself so he can go to his family and the Crown Prince at the same time. Ian’s main body remains in an unconscious state under the protection of Sir Kalian Pierre. - To maintain the previously agreed upon number of delegates, high ranking mage Ronan offers to relinquish his seat for Ian. This is after Ian secretly gave Ronan new spells to increase his power. - Ian coaches the Crown Prince so he can be the focus of the negotiations, not Ragnar. Ian makes the Crown Prince memorise all of the issues and possible solutions that will be dealt with. - The Crown Prince successfully dominates the discussion from start to finish. Ragnar is furious. - With the negotiations finished, Ian’s clone has reached its limit and disappears. Ian’s main body awakens at the Pierre Estate. - Like the Mogrians, Sir Kalian Pierre pledges his eternal loyalty and service to Ian. - Herbert presents Helen to Ragnar. She’s been missing for a few years and reappears under the influence of black magic. - Ian commissions an info guild for any intel on black magic. - Dragon’s order: a long standing cult that worships dragons as gods. They operate in secret and are thought to use black magic. It’s rumoured they can brainwash and control people. - Marko, 2nd class mage and assistant to Herbert. - Herbert is secretly using the forbidden black magic to reach his goal of an empire of the Ivory Tower. He’s collecting low class discarded mages as materials and imprisoned them in a secret dungeon. He took Marko there through a magic portal and cast a mind control spell over Marko. - Herbert takes an indefinite leave of absence. - Ian sensed something strange about Marko and tested him to confirm. Ian cast an anti-magic spell to cancel the black magic and Marko returns to his senses. Marko says Herbert is conducting inhumane black magic research and asks Ian to stop him. - Ian visits Herbert at his residence and accuses him of black magic. Herbert denies that and invites Ian to see for himself through the portal. Herbert tries to cast a mind control spell over Ian but it doesn’t work since Ian’s class is higher than Herbert’s. Ian drains most of Herbert’s mana that renders him weak and powerless. - Herbert threatens to kill Ian’s family and the Crown Prince. Ian says he can try but the preparations Ian has made will prevent that. Meanwhile mages under mind control attempt to enter Ian’s estate but are killed by the high level mana trap that Ian set up for protection. - Elsewhere Helen attacks the Crown Prince but she’s stopped by Sir Oliver with his years of training against Ian. He has a mana heart and uses the mana in his blood to break through her magic barrier and defeats her. - The Emperor sentences Herbert to death by public execution. Sir Oliver is given the command over all of the imperial knights. He’s also awarded the title of the Empire’s Sword which hasn’t been used for hundreds of years as the honour of the sword was overshadowed by the power of magic. - Sir Dunken Mitos, Head of the imperial army - Ragnar argues against the execution of Herbert. He even claims the human sacrifices made for black magic by Herbert were for the greater good. The Emperor points out this is why Ragnar will never be named the successor due to his lack of humanity where he sees people as mere tools. - Ragnar accuses the Emperor of loving the Crown Prince more than him. The Crown Prince was born from a woman the Emperor loved, while Ragnar was born out of duty. - Sir Dunken is ordered to stand guard outside of Ragnar’s room and to make sure he doesn’t meet with anyone. - Ian visits Ragnar to check he isn’t under the influence of black magic. All of the imperial family are being checked. - Later Sir Dunken delivers a letter to Ragnar that seems to give him hope for a comeback … - Ian won’t pledge his allegiance to the Crown Prince but he will support him. The Emperor asks Ian to stop Ragnar. - The Emperor appoints Ian as the new master of the Ivory Tower. Ian receives Herbert’s staff. - Hiley meets Ian. She’s now a 3rd class mage. She kept her magic a secret because the Emperor asked her to. He didn’t want her to join the Ivory Tower. Ian encourages her to live the life she wants. Hiley asks Ian to be her magic teacher. Ian agrees with the condition that she helps him whenever he needs it. - Douglas creates a cure for mana poisoning with help from Ian. - One night, a lookalike Ragnar appears in his room. The real Ragnar enters a portal and meets Sir Dunken outside of the capital. Sir Dunken says the cult leader has chosen Ragnar. - 300yrs ago the dragonian castle was sealed by the Ivory Tower’s barrier magic. Ragnar meets a gathering of nobles inside the castle. Ragnar is introduced to Evantus, the last dragonian and descendant of dragons. He needs the blood of a Greenriver descendant to lift the seal. After Evantus promises he won’t betray Ragnar, Evantus is set free by Ragnar’s blood. - Evantus wants Ragnar to help him start a war. The chaos will attract the gold dragon who controls time. - Ragnar plans to target the Crown Prince first. Sir Dunken summons Sir Paul. Evantus appears to cast a spell on Paul (?) - At the Crown Prince’s bday banquet, the Emperor is poisoned. Paul is arrested and confesses to the crime. - Paul is accused of being a Coldwalker spy from the Coldwood Empire. There are calls for the 2nd imperial knight order to be disbanded. - Ian visits Paul in prison and uses magic to see Paul’s memories. - Ian knows Paul met with Sir Dunken and an unidentified man with magic stronger than Ian’s (ie Evantus). Paul was affected by black magic. Paul dies in prison (from the black magic?) - Ian evacuates his household to the northern Mogrian estate. - He erases his memories of where they’re going and his plans. - Ian visits Ragnar and confronts him. Evantus appears and uses mind control magic on Ian. With the Emperor still unconscious, the nobles meet and Ian declares his support for Ragnar as the heir. - Before dawn, Sir Oliver and the 2nd order secretly take the Crown Prince out of the palace and away to the eastern Pierre estate. - Earlier Ian sent to Hiley a letter with the necklace that was a gift from the late Empress. It has a dragon’s tear jewel with an anti-magic that is much higher than 8th class and can dispel black magic. The letter explains about Ragnar and asks her to put the necklace on Ian. Hiley privately meets Ian and puts the necklace on him to dispel the black magic. - Many high ranked nobles are part of the Dragon’s order. Herbert was also a member. The goal of this group is to start a war and take over the whole continent. They are led by Evantus who was the last dragonian that Mitchell Greenriver sealed alive. It was a grave mistake that Mitchell didn’t kill Evantus. - Ian needs to find the spell used by Mitchell to wipeout the dragonians. Hiley gives Ian a magic book that is a secret imperial treasure. The book was sealed using dragon language. - Ian unseals the book to find it’s the diary of Mitchell Greenriver. - Time around Ian stops when he reads a phrase in dragon language. Through the door shines a bright light. Ian enters a place beyond dimensions called the Record of Time. It’s a place that preserves all the time from Ian’s dimension. - The Golden Dragon, the 1st magician is the one who developed magic. He transferred his magic to Mitchell to fight against the black magic created by the dragonians. He lost his memories for interfering in the human world. As he wandered, he met Vanessa. Ian is his son. - Ian already has the power within him to destroy the dragonian. That’s why Ian can understand the dragon language. - Ian sees a vision of his possible future and his heart’s desire. Hiley is his wife and they have a daughter called Yohana. - Ian’s father fully awakens the dragon’s authority inside Ian. - Ian reveals he is no longer controlled by black magic to Ragnar. - Ian tells Ragnar to meet at the old Ivory Tower. Ragnar arrives with Evantus who is ordered to kill Ian. Evantus soon realises Ian has the Golden Dragon’s authority. Ian is unharmed despite ongoing attacks from Evantus. Ian uses his authority and orders Evantus to kill himself. - Ragnar asks Ian to kill him and spare him the humiliation of a public execution. Ian transfers the memories from his past life to Ragnar. Then Ian kills Ragnar. - Ragnar’s rebellion is stopped. A massive purge takes place to remove all members of the Dragon’s order. The Emperor recovers and is told what happened. Hiley is on trial for illegally using magic. Testimony from Ian and the Emperor help to exonerate her and she’s accepted as a mage at the Ivory Tower. - Ian steps down as the Ivory Tower master. He plans to travel. - Ian gives his staff and Mitchell Greenriver’s cloak to Hiley. He asks her to protect his family while he is gone. - The Crown Prince pledges that the imperial family and the Empire will always welcome and support Ian and his descendants.

They meet Gi-Mun and Mi-Ryeo in the local branch of the Broken Fists sect. They reveal they’ve been undercover in Unnam for some time but had to take action with the recent violent measures of the Broken Fists sect. They ask Gi-Mun to hand over all of his research materials and return safely home. - Seo Mu-Sang has become the leader of the CHA secret intelligence. When he was arrested, he endured several months of torture and was kept under watch in the CHA. He worked and trained hard, and his efforts were acknowledged as he rose through the ranks. He’s been protecting Jin by spreading rumours that Jin died 10yrs (7yrs?) ago. He’s received reports about Jin’s recent exploits and knows his master has reappeared. For now he will continue to support Jin from the shadows. - The Iron Brigade and White Dragon Merchants came to Jade City to follow Jin as their best lead, now that the Broken Fists are in disarray and have lost power. - The CHA have taken Jo Un-Kyung as a hostage. - Sorrowful Mountains, Valley of Despair: Jin and the Iron Brigade find the rest of the missing merchants and bodyguards in a large hidden cave. As world trees resonate with each other, they will use a part of another world tree to find the divine birch tree. - The Heavenly 1000: the strongest 1000 people in the world. Most of them are affiliated with organisations that belong to the 9th Gate. - Seongon Hwan is one of the Heavenly 1000. - Bora Jin appears and admits she sent ML to buy time before she came to deal with the Sorcerer Puppet. - To compensate ML, Bora gives him a valuable necromancy spell book. It’s an evil item that corrupts the mind with insanity, but that won’t happen with his gamer’s mind. - ML obtains the necromancy skill. He can bring people back from the dead and revive them (with some conditions and side effects). - ML buys a tarot card user guide and obtains the Tarot card reading skill. He practises to raise the skill level. - Shiyeon wants to learn a combined martial arts skill like Seonil. She brings 5 books from her guild for ML. - Jin Mastery of the 36 Spirit Flame Strikes, Lightning mastery, Frozen mastery, Lightning blade, and Icy wrath. - These skills combine with ML’s other martial arts skills and becomes “Cheonbu Taiji Yeon Hon Jin Mastery.” - ML transfers this new combined skill to Shiyeon. - ML, Seonil and Shiyeon go to find the divine mirror. - ML reads the tarot cards to guide the way until they reach Gadeok Island on the west coast. Before they can leave to tell the Dan Ui guild, a telepathic voice introduces themself as Lord Changcheon. - They are forced to enter the Red Dune dungeon. - Lord Changcheon is 1 of the 10 strongest people in Geumodo of the Ninth Gate. - Lord Changcheon is weakened by ML’s mental magic. Faced with powerful attacks from Seonil and Shiyeon, Lord Changcheon escapes by disappearing. The trio leave the Red Dune dungeon. - ML called the Cheonbu guild and told them the location. - The trio suddenly get dragged into another instant dungeon. It’s the illusionary space in an alternate dimension of the divine birch tree. It’s known as the Divine City. The entrance and location of the dungeon changes randomly. - They are attacked by the Follower of Darkness, who creates a special force field called the Barrier of Darkness that’s like a black hole. ML’s body undergoes a metamorphosis. - In the virtual space, ML builds near his home a gigantic obelisk that becomes his tower of sorcery. It amplifies ML’s magic and acts as a fuel source to maintain various spells. ML’s intelligence now exceeds 1500. ML’s species has evolved to a high-level human. - ML obtained the title of Expert Mage. - Yeonghwan Cho 24yo, rapid wizard-warrior (mercenary) - Yeonghwan delivers a message and a memory orb to ML. The Witch is imprisoned in Hell after breaking her contract with Baal the top demon. Yeonghwan’s friend is also imprisoned in hell and the Witch made a contract with him to save her. - Yeonghwan guides ML to the Gate of Hell at Jeju Island. They travel along the River of 3 Paths. - Back on land, they’re met by an immigration agent (grim reaper / hell spirit) and charged an entrance fee. It takes 1 intelligence point from ML. They go to the West European underworld, the largest faction in hell. ML briefly experiences his hell, having a game freeze in the middle of playing it. The hell spirit with the same face appears to collect another entrance fee and ML loses another intelligence point. - ML pays 1 intelligence point to ask the hell spirit some questions about hell for an hour. Hell is a world created by the mental power of intelligent beings. The dead perishing is an attribute of hell. The spirits of the dead are devoured to maintain and expand hell. - There are 192 factions or hell-nations in hell. The 7 largest and most powerful hell-nations are called the 7 major hells. - The hell-nations are hostile to each other and try to devour one another as they want to get stronger. - ML is in the 5th hell, Devil’s Hell-Nation run by the 72 demons. - ML learns that the Witch is one of the Heavenly 1000. - She draws her power from hell and the demons. - She makes contracts with demons to get her powers. - She was looking for the fruit of the world tree because she’d broken her contract with Baal. She chose to be taken to hell to pay the price of her contract that then allows her to break free from hell. - ML and Yeonghwan have 7 days to rescue the Witch. After 7 days, they are cursed by either the 7 deadly sins or 108 afflictions and become wraiths, which are the main power source of hell. - In Desert Hell, ML uses his upgraded magic metal stone golem to hunt wraiths and collect soul stones. ML creates a pillar to attract evil spirits and he destroys them as well. - ML and Yeonghwan go to Baal City, the central city of Devil’s Hell-Nation. They go to a cafe that’s owned by a broker. - They meet a turtle demon who is the prison facility maintenance manager and give him the bribe, a condensed ball of soul stones. Souls are the currency and energy food in hell. - ML goes to a book store and buys several magic books. As a result his observation skill is upgraded to “Low-class God’s Eye.” - ML crafts mana enhancement bracelets and a mana armour necklace for Yeonghwan. - ML and Yeonghwan secretly enter a hole in the wall to get into the prison where the Witch and Yeonghwan’s friend are held. - The prison is managed by the identical hell spirits that are everywhere and offer various services in hell. - They enter the Siberian Hell instant dungeon. ML breaks the chains with magic and heals the Witch, which also reduces the effects of her contract with Baal. - They’re suddenly surrounded by hell spirits. - Yeonghwan has high luck stats (enhanced by the ring of luck). - The Witch calls this the ability to distort destiny itself, the destiny alteration ability or the causality control ability. - ML creates a barrier with a high level spatial spell. - He has his upgraded golems fight the hell spirits. - ML creates numerous ice pillars to take them high above the hell spirits, but they respond by combining into one gigantic hell spirit. - The pillars boosted ML’s mana to allow him to distort space and they escape through a portal. They are guided by luck and arrive at the prison yard to find Dahye there, Yeonghwan’s friend. ML heals her then creates a mana cluster to smash space and open a portal. While the others escape, ML stays behind to face the hell spirit that’s appeared. - Using his ability, ML sees that the hell spirit is connected to the root of hell and the will of the world. - He gives 6 intelligence points to ask 6 questions. - He 1st asks about Baal. The hell spirit is basically Hell itself. Baal was a god created on Earth and invaded hell. - Baal the demon god appears and calls ML an individual that represents the will of the world. It’s the 1st time Hell has helped one of natural-born talent like ML. - ML receives the title “The One who got the attention of Baal.” - ML gets greater demonic related powers as a result. Because of the questions ML paid for, Hell protects ML when Baal tries to take ML. The mark of Baal is imprinted on ML and Baal disappears. Hell says ML can ask the other questions anytime and sends him to Desert Hell where the others are. - Back at his home, the Witch is thankful for ML saving her and gives him a kiss which generates a contract request for ML. He accepts and becomes the Witch’s 2nd Warrior. They now mutually share vitality, mana and knowledge between eachother. ML won’t age and is now immortal. - Mahyeon Sung visits ML and asks him to make a Numen Revert Conversion Device. It converts all energy to numen, the energy of the beginning of the world. Abyss Auction will supply the materials and mana needed to help ML’s manufacturing skill level up so he can eventually make the device. In exchange, ML asks for 100 expensive, high quality manufacturing blueprints of magic products. - ML makes continuous improvements to his home and tower of sorcery. He’s selling his upgraded golems at a high price. - Shiyeon and Seonil remain party members with ML and have been leveling up rapidly using the gamer’s abilities. - ML wants to get stronger and plans to take control over the Eunpyeong district in Seoul. The Valhalla attacks ML’s golems but retreat when they realise they can’t win. - ML combines his golems into a gigantic golem which strikes the Great Terracotta Warrior, causing a massive explosion. - ML’s golems recover faster and completely overwhelm the enemy golem. The 4 groups decide to retreat and escape. - ML obtains the spiritual crystal demon heart which he fuses with 1000 golem cores. It becomes a huge demonic golem that ML names “Bossmon.” - ML builds new facilities across his expanded territory. - He builds mental power conversion equipment, barrier generating facilities, protection barrier generating facilities, golem manufacturing factories, and mana storage facilities. - The captives (all killers) from ML’s recent conquest are held in mana production facilities to produce mana. - To fulfill his contract with Abyss Auction, ML creates copious bottles of mana enhancement potion to raise the level of his manufacturing skill. - The Heavenly 1000: the Strong 100, the Divine 10 (the Harem King and the 9 heads of 9th Gate). - The Strong 100 have transcendental mind technique abilities. - At home, ML creates a subspace that solely belongs to him and it can’t be entered, destroyed, or interfered with by anyone else. The subspace becomes combined with his inventory. - ML has finally made the Numen Revert Conversion Device. Mahyeon Sung says normally it would take 100yrs to make this device. Only with ML’s abilities could it be made so quickly in just 10 days. - The power closest to numen is divine power. Numen is above any kind of power. It’s the power of the creator of the world. - Mahyeon advises ML to keep in mind that evil creatures in the Abyss are a necessary evil. - Golden Circle (USA): 1 of the 9th Gate. - Known for their mass production abilities. Established by Dr. Faust the alchemist and scientist. He’s 1 of the Divine 10. - ML next plans to take over Goyang City, one of Seoul’s satellite cities. Swarms of insects attack the golems. - ML summons Berith the demon to help with the initial attack. - ML also casts the Witch’s “wave of life” spell. Berith leaves and the trio go to the centre of the city. They are forced to enter the Chinese Alchemy Poison Gate instant dungeon. - Yeonhwa of Poison, the guild master appears. - The Witch casts the forbidden spell, Body Demonisation and fights Yeonhwa. ML tries to break the dungeon barrier. - Yeonhwa uses bells and dance to invoke incantations. - He amplifies his power by increasing his entities. - The mushrooms of the forest are his servant spirits. - ML combines 8 spells that include taking some mana from hell. Shiyeon protects him from the many insect fighters. - Yeonhwa brings forth the Poison Sea of Utter Dissolution that melts everything except for space, time and void. - The Witch calls on Pymon the demon to send through part of his territory. It carries with it a multitude of lesser demons. - The Witch creates a hole in the barrier that’s connected to hell. She tries to summon hell through that hole. Yeonhwa attacks the Witch with waves from the Poison Sea. The Witch is knocked out. - ML finished his spell which creates a void. He rescues the Witch and gives her to Shiyeon. He creates voids to suck up the waves from the Poison Sea and absorb the sonic attacks from Yeonhwa. - ML casts a spatial smash spell and creates a hole in the cracking barrier for Shiyeon to escape with the Witch. - The characteristic of this dungeon that is like a brazier is it melts everything into one, except for space, time and void. It can even melt the spirit, mind and mana. - ML survives being submerged by the Poison Sea. - ML then finds himself naked in a dark space. It’s where the Golden Poison is collected after everything is melted. - Yeonhwa has become the Golden Poison itself. - Yeonhwa asks ML why does he only attack evil. He does it to defend himself as the Abyss is a lawless jungle where it’s survival of the fittest. If he destroys all that is evil, there won’t be anyone left to threaten him. He doesn’t kill anyone because he doesn’t want to become evil himself. - ML casts a spell within himself to access his inventory subspace. - Yeonhwa subjects ML to memories and emotions of random evil acts committed. As Cleaner of the East, Yeonhwa is responsible for cleaning up the evil trash and specialises in dealing with evil minds. Yeonhwa offers to stop fighting and cooperate instead, but ML refuses. He casts a gravity concentration spell which sucks up the Golden Poison into ML’s subspace. - ML escapes the instant dungeon and sends his golems to occupy Goyang City. He has his golems construct barriers and mental power conversion facilities. From what Yeonhwa said, Goyang City was a disposal facility for negative thoughts. - ML speaks with Yeonhwa who is a compressed ball inside ML’s subspace storage. Yeonhwa claims to only want to maintain this world and make it better. While Yeonhwa’s intentions were good, his actions were evil (ie he killed people). - ML casts the spell for a contract of soul subordination on Yeonhwa who becomes ML’s servant. ML can now see Yeonhwa’s stats and characteristics. Yeonhwa is a transcendental slime that’s 1029yo. - Yeonhwa was a mushroom that grew from the corpse of a small child eaten by his parents during a famine in Ancient China. He became demonised and possessed a twisted personality based on the memories of the dead child’s spirit. - The restriction on the world that doesn’t allow anyone to overuse their special abilities is a safety measure to prevent causing harm to people of the real world. - The Status Quo group (eg Golden Circle): want to let things remain as they are, as it’s more beneficial to do so. - The Reversion group (eg Geumodo): want to get rid of the restriction and go back to the past, the Mystical era. - Both groups don’t care what happens to people in the real world. - Gildong Hong, King of Yuldo Nation. He’s visiting ML as the messenger / delegate of the 10 Great Guilds of South Korea. - The Dan Ui guild are initiating the Northbound Plan. They’re starting a war against Geumodo and the 10 Great Guilds will be supporting them. Gildong offers ML a choice to either remain neutral, support Dan Ui, or be against Dan Ui and the 10 Great Guilds. - After Gildong leaves, ML consults with the Witch, Yeonhwa and Shiyeon. He also reads the tarot cards. All point to supporting Dan Ui. ML doesn’t want to be directly involved in killing people, so he decides to provide weapons and other supplies instead. - Yeonhwa goes to Gildong to deliver ML’s decision. - ML’s manufacturing skill is at transcendental level now. - ML is forced to enter “the world of moonlight shadow” instant dungeon. He’s attacked by Jasul and Jamu, twin assassins from Geumodo. To fight ML who has fused with Bossmon, the assassins join together and reveal their true selves as a couple bird. ML combines 10 temporal spells and captures the assassins with Bossmon. - With the help of the Cheonbu guild, ML uses a puppet of himself to attend school when he can’t. Seonil and Shiyeon do the same. - ML built a manufacturing tower. It helps ML to operate golems under his command more efficiently. ML had to connect Eunpyeong district with Goyang City. He also built many more mental power conversion facilities. - The Great Warrior returns to Seoul after completing his ritual and other jobs for the forest in Europe that he guards and draws his power from. He stays with ML. - Yeonhwa has the ability to combine with an object. He combined with Bossmon then was able to combine with ML’s tower of sorcery. Yeonhwa has evolved into an AI that manages all of the facilities made by ML. - The Divine 10 are also known as the Fallen Ones From Heaven. They tried to become gods and failed, but they gained immortality. - ML combined himself with a miniaturised Bossman, with the effect of an invisible Bossmon suit. His battle power has increased considerably. ML goes to “Chicken Valley,” the natural dungeon of Chuncheon City to level up and farm for items. - The main intelligent species are the chicken clan. - ML destroys the chicken-related monsters as he heads to the core location. Once there, it becomes the boss room. - The boss monster is an old tree possessed by a chicken’s vengeful spirit. It summons chicken-related undead as well. - ML casts a new hexa spell, “Summon the scorching sun.” It burns and disintegrates everything. - ML is given a quest to speak with the master of Chicken Valley. He accepts and a large cave entrance appears. He enters an instant dungeon called “the place where the hearts of the waters meet.” - After a long tunnel, ML is in a massive cavern. He meets Woo Sa the ancient eastern water god, the 1st visitor in 2000yrs. He receives the title “the one who found Woo Sa the eastern water god.” - Ancient transcendental beings like Woo Sa became the many pillars of the super divine barrier that they agreed to create to protect the world. The (numen) power that separates the real world from the Abyss comes from these beings. The barrier became the illusionary space, the shadow of the real world. - NB: the power of the gamer is related to the numen. - NB: Gaia is a combination of these godly beings’ powers. - NB: The protective will of the world (ie Gaia) was created by these godly beings. - Woo Sa thinks ML has the highest chance of reaching the origin of the world. He gives a mission to ML to collect all 3 Heavenly items (sword, bell, mirror) that are the imperial regalia of Japan. - ML must reach the origin 1st to save the world from destruction. The restriction on use will be lifted so ML will become the master of the 3 Heavenly items. To find the mirror, put the sword and the bell together to be shown the way. The 3 items were originally one. - Harem King: doesn’t care what happens to this world. - Geumi Maseon: is not in this world anymore. - The Work Master: can no longer interfere in this world. - Lord Changcheon attacks ML as he emerges from the tunnel. - Special items that control time and space are used against ML. Opening mana to its fullest from the tower of sorcery, ML invokes the spell for “Incarnated pitch black flame gigantic mode.” - He throws a punch with a new mind technique “Heaven breaking blow” that destroys all barriers, smashing Lord Changcheon and the throne to bits. ML does the same to the Red Dune sand possessed by Lord Changcheon. - Dropped items: - The Throne of Golden Light (mythical): cancels out time spells. The broken piece can be used to repair the throne. - Wongong’s Cosmograph (mythical): space distortion. Approval from the item’s spirit is required for use. - Red Dune (legendary): the red sand is bound to its master and can continue to expand by turning inorganic matter into red sand. When touched by red sand, the body and soul are absorbed into the power of its master. - Lord Changcheon is an immortal as 1 of the Divine 10, a Fallen One from Heaven. When he dies, he’s reincarnated elsewhere (Bongshindae). - ML needs a manager to oversee his faction expansion which includes expanding production plants. He might hire Yoohwa Shin. - The Dan Ui guild send a message to ML. The war is at a lull so they ask him to increase production by 20% and to provide a name for his faction. ML sees that he’s in 4th place on the Korean Abyss Union Contribution System. His contribution levels are so high because his production capacity is so great. - ML names his faction “Player.” - ML recruits Yoohwa Shin as managing director. - ML recruits the couple bird Jasul and Jamu as temporary employees. This is after he agrees to their quest to capture the soul of Lord Jincheon (Wanah Gongson), leader of the Geumo forces in Geumodo. - Belyy Led (White Ice) from Russia, 1 of the 9th Gate. - Many different species related to cold are it’s main members. - They identify as a Status Quo group. - The war between the Dan Ui guild and Geumodo is at a stalemate due to Belyy Led supporting either side from the shadows. - Bora Jin, half dragon, Dan Ui guild agent. - Anya Anastasia, half elemental spirit, Belyy Led executor. - Grigori Rasputin, the leader of Belyy Led and a great prophet. - Anya made an offer to Bora to invite ML to Belyy Led where they’ll protect him and keep him safe. In return Belyy Led will help the Dan Ui guild attack Geumodo. This offer is later refused. - To boost his defence force, ML decides to summon lower class demons. He makes contracts with 400 Umbra (shadow) demons and 400 Cranium demons. He continues to crank out 1000s of golems. - Anya makes a surprise visit to ML without letting the Dan Ui guild know. She asks ML to make a Numen Revert Conversion Device. ML refuses as he has to consider the Dan Ui guild and he doesn’t know what Belyy Led will use the device for. Anya casts a powerful sacrificial spell and teleports ML to Russia. - Anya is half snow spirit and is immortal as long as there is snow. ML witnesses her power and is surrounded by Belyy Led forces. As they don’t hurt him, ML decides to follow Anya to their HQ: the White Castle. - ML meets Rasputin who asks ML to become the permanent ally of Belyy Led. Rasputin already knows that ML will want to think about it and hold off making a decision. - Rasputin foresaw ML has the potential to become as strong as the Harem King. This is because ML’s ability to disregard causality across all systems is unprecedented in the Abyss. - ML is empowered to interfere with the power of destiny. - ML read the tarot cards which indicated a positive outcome from an alliance. Rasputin tried to interfere in the tarot cards with his foreseeing powers but failed. - If ML agrees to be allies, it’ll be to help eachother for a common goal. ML agrees to a pledge of confidentiality 1st, then Rasputin reveals the common goal is to destroy the 4 Reversion group organisations that belong to 9th Gate. - In a decision not foreseen by Rasputin, ML agrees to a non-aggression pact and the spell of the pledge is cast. The pact includes the provision that Belyy Led won’t attack the Dan Ui guild unless they attack Belyy Led or it’s allies first. - As a gift, Rasputin gives a very valuable book of magic to ML: the 3rd volume of the little key of Solomon (legendary class). - ML acquires 111 demon spells, an even higher mana recovery rate, and the ability to summon unlimited lower class demons. - ML must return home using his abilities as long distance teleportation is difficult. ML flys over the East Sea but the space seems never ending. ML realises he’s trapped in a spatial barrier. - ML is notified that he’s entered a legendary instant dungeon, “the World before Genesis.” It’s a special dungeon of subspace that’s completely shutout from the real world. - ML created a large void to try and break the barrier. It also helps him maintain a connection to the outside. - Emperor Yao of the Tang Dynasty (China). He’s 1 of the Heavenly 1000. He was thought to have perished in a fight against Geumodo. It’s possible he’s been trapped in this space for 1000yrs as a contracted servant to Geumodo. - The special item “the Strength of a Nation through Moral Training” is used by Emperor Yao. It was originally made to control overflowing water by infinitely creating space. It controls space, time and water. - ML breaks the barrier by creating a void within his body. - Emperor Yao intended to lock ML up for 50yrs but his role is done after using the special item. - After ML returns home, Shiyeon wants to get stronger by finding the complete martial arts of Emperor Chiyou. - The Yeon Hon guild was started 80yrs ago by Shiyeon’s grandmother. The guild is based on one of Emperor Chiyou’s martial arts, the divine help spirit flame. - Emperor Chiyou’s martial arts are in 5 parts. They’ll look for the flame skill 1st. ML summons Vassago, 1 of the 72 demons. - ML makes a contract with 1600 high purity magic bars for info on the flame skill. ML is shown a scene from the battlefield between the Dan Ui guild and Geumodo, where a mercenary called Jinseok Gong uses the flame skill. - ML suddenly appears at the battlefield where Seonil is fighting Ma Yecheong from Geumodo. The 4 Ma brothers are in the Heavenly 1000. ML captures Ma Yecheong with his golems. - In this prophecy war between those in the 9th Gate, ML can penetrate through the foresight ability of other prophets with his tarot card reading. ML has the ability to destroy an opponent’s information strategy. - ML asks Seonil to borrow the divine sword and explains why. When ML takes the sword, Seonil is absorbed into the sword. - ML and Seonil are now connected and can read each other’s minds. They go to Seonil’s place to see his grandpa. - ML has become the temporary master and owner of the divine sword. He can order Seonil to take human form at will. The Cheonbu guild were only the carriers of the sword, not the true masters. ML has also acquired “the Blessing of the Divine Sword.” - Jinseok Gong 34yo, former national taekwondo athlete. - One day he found an old book that belonged to his grandfather. - He obtained the flame skill, the power to control flames. - He became a mercenary after his family were killed by demons. - Cheonseok Kim, a mage and Jinseok’s best friend. - ML suddenly appears (with Seonil as a sword) before Jinseok and Cheonseok during a break at the battlefield. ML proposes a deal with Jinseok for his flame skill and in exchange ML will give him the divine help spirit flame skill. Jinseok refuses but ML leaves his contact details. - ML uses his tarot card reading on every region of the world to cause chaos on all of the prophecy barriers around the world. - ML and Seonil go to the Tower of Bongshin in Geumodo territory (China). ML uses his golems and spells to declare part of the land as his territory, thereby becoming Korean territory. This enables the power of the divine sword. - 3 of the Geumo forces appear to challenge ML. - Wangcheon, red flood - Dongcheon, a martial arts master who uses invisible wind blades. - Soncheon, web of blood - Holy Mother of Golden Light, the Geumodo prophet. - When the 8 Pillars are summoned, ML and Seonil make a tactical retreat and escape through a spatial gate. - ML’s real goal was to pave the way into Geumodo territory so he could get inside at any time. He left behind and scattered numerous small magic orbs under the spell of realm acquisition. - ML intends to do more of these “rear disturbance operations.” - ML destroys Wolgung, a Geumodo production city. He uses a “small mock sun explosion” spell that only destroys objects, not living beings. ML destroys 2 more Geumodo cities. - Loki from Asgard, 1 of 9th Gate that controls Northern Europe.

This year it’s neutralising Kaiju. - Defense force suit: made from Kaiju sourced materials. - Unleashed combat power (UCP): indicates how much power is being drawn out from the suit. This affects the power of the shots fired. - For the aptitude test, ML’s suit indicates 0% UCP. - FL is observing the aptitude test with Hoshina. - ML and Reno initially provide support cover. Kikoru takes out most of the Kaiju, including the largest one at the end. - A new humanoid Kaiju suddenly appears and attacks Kikoru, badly injuring her. Reno and another newbie Iharu come across this Kaiju in human form, and struggle to dodge his finger bullets. - The transformed ML arrives just in time, as both Reno and Iharu are severely injured and about to be killed. Before ML can smash the Kaiju’s core, more troops arrive. The humanoid Kaiju recovers and escapes. ML hid from the other troops but is found by Hoshina and forced to fight him. Together FL, Hoshina and Kikoru defeat the humanoid Kaiju (#10). - Overhead a gigantic swelling mass appears. It’s a bomb that was released last minute by the humanoid Kaiju. Before it hits the base, ML transforms in front of everyone and launches an almighty punch into that mass to force it back up high into the sky. It explodes but everyone is safe, thanks to ML. - ML is arrested and sent to the main base. Kikoru pleaded directly with her father to cancel ML’s execution as he’d saved her life. FL had already submitted reports on this and other evidence in support of saving ML. Chief Isao confronts ML himself and fights him with weaponry developed from Kaiju #2.
