Ch 13 as of 14/01/22 - nice art - FL is Takiguchi Yoi, 1st yr high school student. - She’s called a prince for her appearance and actions. - Her family run a curry shop / restaurant. She has a sister. - Because of her prince nickname, she has trouble talking to boys. ML is the 1st to approach her like a girl. - Her close friends are Tone Nobara, a BL fan and writer, and Hibiya Kotabuki. - ML is Ichimura Kohaku, a 2nd yr high school student and called a prince as he’s from a wealthy family. His grandpa is a CEO. - His close friends are Akane Sentaro, a curry fanatic who writes a blog, and Kuwabatake Shun. - ML knocks over FL by accident and called her “beautiful”. He’s attracted to her from the start. It was love at 1st sight but he doesn’t recognise it. He has plenty of casual dating experience, and tends to be detached and indifferent in his relationships with girls. This is the 1st time he’s pursued someone and wanted someone else so much. - FL sees ML as someone who is aloof and elusive. - After ML suggests dating as a test, FL comes up with a contract. They agree to give dating a try. He is her 1st boyfriend, while he’s known to be a serial heartbreaker. - FL asked ML out for their 1st date. They went clothes shopping, bought sweets, and went to the amusement park near closing time. - FL gets called in to help at the curry shop that night. Her dad meets ML who says he likes FL for her face. - The next day at school, ML pulled FL aside. She pushes him away, saying he never told her that he liked her properly. She regrets that straight away. - The next day, FL visited ML’s classroom for the 1st time, intending to apologise. Instead ML invited her out for gyoza that night. ML’s friends end up interrupting them at the gyoza place. - On the way home ML almost kisses FL. He ends up holding her hand instead. - At this point both ML and FL are confused about their feelings. - Takuto Oji, a new part-time employee at the curry shop. He’s also called a prince by others. FL sees him help a girl on the train from a molester. Oji also says he sees FL as a beautiful woman. - ML asks FL to go with him to the summer festival. - ML visits the curry shop with his friends. He gets jealous after seeing Oji with FL. It’s his 1st time getting jealous. - FL asks ML to walk home with her. He gets jealous again when Oji calls her about being late for work. When he warns FL about Oji being interested in her, FL doesn’t believe it.

The students fly back to the mainland on weekends. - The top 1% of gifted students in South Korea attend IIHS. - IIHS graduates are employed by top global companies. - All of the students live in dormitories. They’re assigned different rooms each quarter according to their rank. Use of the school facilities is included in the dorm fees. Each dorm uses different facilities. - Ranks are determined by a student’s family background, academic grades and popularity votes. - Internal student hierarchy and ranking system: - 1. Summa Cum Laude - 2. Magna Cum Laude - 3. Dorm Cum Laude - 4. Satus Laudis - 5. Apodekae In Laude - Students get penalty points for violating the rules. - A student is expelled if they have too many penalty points. - Kang Doha, transferred to IIHS in her senior year. - improve her future prospects - Her non-identical twin sister is confined to a wheelchair. She’s one of many Rowoon fans. - The twins were born with magic birthstones. If they have their birthstone, they can talk to each other with their minds. - Doha wears her birthstone as a pendant on a necklace. - Her sister wears the birthstone as an earring. - The Kang family have these super powers but remain poor and unsuccessful (?) - Yura, Doha’s friend who lives next door (in the dorms). - Lee Rowoon, the richest and most popular student at IIHS. - His father is President of the Haesung Group, one of the top 10 financial groups in the world (Forbes). - Ha Theo was considered ugly as a child so he was unpopular and an outcast. He’s grown up to look like a prince now. He was in kindergarten with Rowoon when they were 7yo. - His family has a restaurant business. - Leo, Theo’s black cat - Director of IIHS - Doha observes Rowoon at school. She thinks he’s self-centred, inconsiderate, thoughtless, insensitive and clueless about girls. - Rowoon isn’t a bad person. He’s just used to existing in a bubble where everyone agrees with him, so he isn’t aware of his flaws. He’s oblivious to other people and believes everything he is told. - If he had no money, status or fame, his world would fall apart. - After trying (and failing) to see Rowoon at a cafe that his best friend goes to every weekend, Doha’s sister unknowingly left her birthstone earring behind when it got caught in her hair. Rowoon arrives at the cafe later and finds the earring. He likes the look of it and puts it on himself. - When Doha communicates using her mind with who she thinks is her sister, somehow Rowoon can hear her. Doha calls him an idiot who has everyone fooled by his looks. - Rowoon soon realised Doha is the voice in his mind. He sees her and runs after her. Doha is helped by Theo who hides her from Rowoon.

More shoujo than josei. Too cutesy. Rate 3.5 FL was a pure hearted idiot. Kind of annoying. ML’s best friend was the greatest (crossdressing) wingman.
