He evolves to the larva stage after eating his 1st human, the research team leader. - Evolution has 6 stages: - Hatchling / Larva / Pupa / Pre-adult / Adult / Ascension - ML eats the supply management team leader who was secretly smuggling alien eggs onboard. ML also eats the eggs. - ML starts to hunt the rest of the crew. - Bubble amoeba - Space dogs are pirates who raid and pillage the research ships.
