They have other abilities, like echolocation, song and water manipulation. - Water withdrawal occurs if a siren is out of the water for too long. Symptoms include dizziness, headaches and fainting. - If a siren is out of water for too long, they can even die. - Shon breaks up with Aleah and finally confesses to FL that he’s in love with her. FL also confesses. (Ch 40 Webtoon) ** still so incredibly dumb of Shon to go out with Aleah in the first place. Who cares if she’s mourning the death of her fiancé? Why is it up to Shon to save her? Ugh soooooo stupid. She’s still a bitch in my book. ** ** FL is way too self sacrificing and nice to everyone but herself. And why is Shon so friggin insensitive by showing so much concern over Aleah in front of FL. Soooo annoying!! ** ** Also FL is a worry wart who overthinks and is stubborn. ** - Shon sees Ian and FL turn into merpeople when they dive into the sea. Tua is captured alive by Frey and Helix, 2 siren hunters. - Frey is indebted to Helix for saving his life from a siren. - As a boy, Helix saw his older brother disappear into the ocean with a siren. Helix thinks all sirens are killers. - On the night of the full moon, the sirens are hypnotised by the sound of a conch shell blowing. Ian regains his senses and realises FL is in danger and gets Shon to look for her at the beach. They see FL entering the water. Shin kisses FL to save her and he turns into a siren. FL and Ian are now fully human. - Pele answered the call and was chosen to be human again. - FL and Shon search for Tua. - Shon still has a human heart and it glows green, meaning it’s a combination of heartbreak and love. - FL’s grandma already knows about sirens… - Tua convinced Frey to become a siren… - Shon and Ian search for the Poseidon. - WTF!!! Aleah is the Poseidon??? No wonder she’s such an evil conniving bitch. Aleah kissed Pele but she regained her memories after turning into a siren due to a spell tattooed on her arm. She kisses Ian to turn herself back into a human and he becomes a siren again. This is the endless cycle Aleah repeats to stay immortal. - Aleah returns Ian’s memories to him. - Then she kills Crim and casts a spell on Ian… - Helix’s brother Zale is still alive and used to be a siren. He now calls himself “River.” He recently moved to FL’s seaside town and works as a security guard at the marina. - Pele is found at the beach and taken to hospital. - Pele runs away from hospital and meets River at the marina. He lets her stay at his place. - FL’s grandma reveals that 21yrs ago she found a heavily pregnant siren on the shore. She must’ve been pregnant before she became a siren. She lost her life trying to give birth to FL and turned into sea foam. (Sirens have no sex organs) - Ian’s original name was Kai. He was a hustler selling trinkets on the beach. He met and fell in love with a married woman called Emila. One day she disappeared. Kai became a siren while looking for her at the beach. - Emila was FL’s mother … - FL kisses Shon and the curse splits between them. - FL and Shon search for Ian. - Frey killed Helix then fell overboard while drinking. - FL, Shon and Ian save Frey. Later Frey is shocked to meet River but doesn’t reveal they’re brothers. - Pele and Tua reunite. - Aleah thinks FL is the reincarnation of Aleah’s sister. - FL’s grandma is actually Aleah’s older sister, Hona. - A long time ago, Aleah was originally Ophelia. She met a man called Calder and they fell in love. Hona stopped Ophelia from leaving on a ship to elope with Calder. The ship sank in a storm and Ophelia never saw Calder again. - Ophelia and Hona could both use magic. - Ophelia created the siren curse on the night of a full moon. Ophelia is still resentful, bitter and in denial. - Hona had cast a protection spell on FL that caused the siren curse to split. Hona transfers the last of her magic and life force to FL to stop Aleah and break the curse.
