FL starts to suspect she has to face the system itself. - FL has 3 x concubines & 1 POW: Ettsen, last Velrod Prince. - Nadricka: slave concubine, abused by the servants. - Robia Juran: scholar concubine, chief imperial librarian. - Sir Eclot Pace: knight concubine. Rather then kill them, she has them reassigned to the Emperor’s palace as her spies. - FL visits the military training grounds and decides to disband her personal knights. Sir Sieger catches her eye, former youngest 2nd-in-command of 1st division imperial knights. - FL discovers Yuriel trying to trick Daisy the maid to go to a perverted nobleman. Before FL can punish Yuriel, she peaks the interest of the Emperor and his head maid protects her. - FL learns the original Princess’ weaknesses included a drug addiction and collecting young male slaves. - Sir Eclot returns and immediately investigates the palace for a traitor. Yuriel is found guilty before FL and is banished from the palace. FL no longer sees game screens. - FL looks for the drugs in the palace. FL’s head maid Hesse brings some to her. Daisy reports the rest of the drugs were in the kitchen storage but were all removed as per FL’s request. - FL keeps an eye on Sieger from a distance as she’s concerned after learning he didn’t return to his former position and is now just a guard. - Victory banquet celebration for Eclot: held in Princess’ palace. FL encounters Ettsen, Sieger, and all 3 concubines. Nadricka is FL’s escort. Ettsen catches FL after she slips and falls from a balcony. He tells her how tormented he is by her kindness. Nadricka excuses himself so FL can approach Eclot to dance. She tells Eclot to call on her for anything. - Robia is upset FL didn’t call for him but it’s only a ruse to get her alone so he can confront her about her identity. FL admits to not being the Princess. Robia claims to love her true self. - Nadricka also knew from the start FL was not the Princess and he asks her to accept Robia for her sake and safety. - Yuriel wants Ettsen to kill FL at the risk of him losing affection for her. This is Yuriel’s condition before running away again. - FL starts the conference of territorial negotiations. - FL wants to reward Eclot for his loyalty and his feats in battle. - She releases him from being a concubine so he may receive the titles and land etc as his rewards. - Later FL reassures Eclot that she’s there for him and he hasn’t been thrown away. All Eclot wants is to stay by her side. Robia is worried how Eclot might react if he knew FL wasn’t the real princess, given how loyal Eclot is to the imperial family. - Robia keeps an eye on Yuriel to win back FL’s trust. He warns Ettsen not to do anything he’d regret and to stop Yuriel if he can. Meanwhile Nadricka tells FL that he loves her. - 2nd Prince Kairos Rothschild comes with the Bourne envoy. He’s a notorious womaniser. - Yuriel as a maid approaches Arken, Duke Dominatt’s son. The Duke was the most vocal at the conference in his opposition of rewarding Eclot. She introduces herself as ‘Yuriel Dravier Cecilia’, indicating she’s the 2nd Princess. - Yuriel arrives with Arken at FL’s bday celebration. - Yuriel claims to be of imperial blood and FL kicked her out of the palace to hide this. Arken and Yuriel also accuse FL of illegally trading in child slavery and narcotics. - A badly injured Robia arrives with Ettsen. They have evidence from a magic recording device that proves FL was framed. - FL asks for an official trial to prove her innocence. - FL goes for a walk. Sieger and Eclot stop Hesse from stabbing FL with a dagger. Hesse then kills herself. - At the trial, FL details the crimes that Yuriel has committed. Then she admits to her own crimes that she wants to atone for, specifically referring to what happened with Hesse. - FL gives up her right as heir to the throne and wants to live outside the palace walls to learn how to become a better ruler. She will be away for half a year. - Daisy insists on leaving with FL and they leave at night for an abandoned castle outside of the palace. - FL tasks Eclot with uprooting the drug cartel. - FL goes into town in disguise with her hair dyed black. - She helps out a child pickpocket after he’s stopped by 2nd Prince Kairos Rothschild. She helps the child again when he’s getting beaten up by loan shark thugs. This time Sieger arrives and puts a stop to the beating. - FL faints in Kairos’ arms when she tries to remember who she was originally. While unconscious, she dreams of meeting the Game System as a person. - Yuriel is given a new quest, to conquer 2nd Prince Kairos. - She already told Ettsen that she no longer needed him and has been looking for a new male target. - That night FL interrupts Sieger beating up the loan shark thugs and she gives them money instead, saying she’s hiring their services. Sieger confirms FL is the Princess and says she has yet to convince him that she has changed. She kisses him as payback but then he kisses her passionately in return. (Ch 60) - Robia asks Nadricka to act as bait and to sleep with Yuriel. A quest window appears near FL while she’s with Sieger and she cries as it’s a quest for Yuriel to sleep with Nadricka. - Sieger offers to help and he sneaks into the palace. He throws a rock through a window to interrupt Yuriel before she can take Nadricka to bed. FL spends the night at Sieger’s place and gets to meet the children under his care. Sieger was a street orphan so he does what he can to help other children like him. - FL is summoned by the Game System while she’s asleep. - He says he is one of many “gods” and they don’t have emotions. He’s curious about FL. - Duel between Ettsen and Sieger - Eclot promises to grant a wish to the winner. - Sieger wins and gets Nadricka to visit FL. - After Nadricka leaves, FL gets drunk and ends up kissing Sieger again. She forgets about it the next day. (Ch 70) - Sieger is assigned to Yuriel as her personal guard. - A new quest opens for Yuriel … - He shows zero interest in Yuriel. - The Game System says the Princess (ie FL) must die as a condition for that world to end… - FL (with help from Sieger and Eclot) gets rid of the loan shark thugs who were operating a gang that terrorised the citizens. The gang manufactured illegal drugs, and had an underground casino and brothel. They were also human traffickers. Eclot makes sure no evidence remains to link FL with the gang who supplied her with drugs and slaves in the past. - Yuriel’s scandals in the palace have turned the nobles against her. They call for FL to be returned to the palace.

Ch 58 as of 29/12/21 - lost interest. DROPPED - FL commoner Clarence Holton, genius pupil under master swordsman Lance Holton. Knighted aged 15yo under Duke Spencer and retired 25yo. Each of these men find her one by one: - Mage Kenneth Owen of the magician tower - Imperial Palace Knight Captain Phillip Wilkins, also a Count - Priest Dale - Crown Prince Oswin Leigham - FL travels to her hometown to reunite with her brother Clive who she hasn’t seen in 14yrs - She’s dismayed to hear he’s been working as a servant for the castle lord since he was 8yo, rather than be schooled etc using the monthly pay she sent home. - Their guardians are despicable people to say the least - FL and Clive accept lodgings from bookstore owner Mdm Hubert Marshall. FL also will work at store. - FL has her revenge on their horrid guardians - Kenneth makes a surprise visit to FL. - During the war, he had saved her life by gathering her life force with magic. He needs to regular check the stability and asks FL to visit the capital every 6mths. - Kenneth gives her a necklace infused with his magic to help with the stability. - Coming of age ceremony: FL attends with Clive, Cecily (nice daughter of horrid guardians, like a sister). - Karl Barrow (dodgy rich merchant) smack down by FL and surprise appearance of Sir Wilkins who wanted FL to go back with him. - Sir Wilkins and FL stop arson attack on bookstore (most likely Karl Barrow behind it) - Sir Wilkins returns to capital, forced to see Duke Spencer even though he’s been getting reports on FL. - Dale runs away from the temple and is found collapsed in the street near FL’s bookstore by Cecily. - He stays with FL but doesn’t know how to do anything. - Marco Humphrey, old friend of Mdm Hubert and a great collector / hoarder of books. - Crown Prince and Sir Wilkins visit a newly established immigrant village near FL as an excuse to visit her. - Karl Barrow hired some mercenaries to hunt and kill FL for revenge. FL survives after fainting from a poisoned arrow. Crown Prince was there to save her in the end. Karl is killed. - FL learns that Duke Spencer is missing in the Western Disaster Zone he was sent to subjugate with just 50 knights. The Duke was sent to die intentionally by the Emperor as he’s the 2nd in line to the throne and a threat to the Crown Prince’s position. - FL can’t go officially as a knight as it could look like supporting rebellion. She asks Dale for help to let her join him as Dale is going there with some temple knights. Sir Wilkins is also going with a few of his knights. - FL is disguised as an apprentice priest but she’s eventually discovered by Sir Wilkins.
The Abandoned Empress
Read ch 145 as of 19/04/21 (reincarnation starts ch 7) - After travelling back in time, FL visits the temple where she rejects God Vita and her destined fate. God gives her the name Pioneer, to decide her own path. - NB: Early death of FL’s mother Jeremia left FL so much in shock then that she has no memories of her mum. Ruveliss was present at her death. - NB: Monique family Blood Oath (curse) due to close ties w/ imperial family. Comes w/ a wish which FL’s dad used to marry her mum? - FL suggests luxury tax to Emperor, praised for her bright mind. - FL improves her relationship w/ her father, Marquis Keirean la Monique and Commander of the 2nd Knight Squad (who was estranged and had died for her before). - FL starts learning swordwork soon after despite her frail body. Goal is to be a knight as sole heir for her house and family. As per tradition for those training to be the next Commander, 13yo FL is offered to work as an aide and squire to the 1st Squad. - Sir Allendis de Veritas, genius of the Empire and this time FL’s 1st friend from childhood. They learnt sword work together and he even proposed to her when they were still kids. He has a 2-faced personality, hides it from FL. She told him her secret about having returned to the past and the events that had led to her death but he didn’t believe her. At 16yo he becomes youngest admin officer in history. His parents greatly favour his older brother over him. - Sir Carsein de Rass, best swordsman of Empire. FL’s 2nd childhood friend and he trains together with her. His father is Commander of the 1st Knight Squad, his mother is the Emperor’s sister. He holds off confessing his feelings to FL until he’s become stronger. At 16yo he becomes youngest knight in history. - Crown Prince Ruveliss, an arrogant asshole, hateful bastard. TBC he hit her when they were very young. He blames her for taking everything away from him, feels he is always unfairly compared with her and is jealous of her close relationship w/ his father. FL is initially fearful of him due to memories of his hatred and her death at his hands, which infuriates him more. - At Ruveliss’ coming of age ceremony, Marquis Monique announces FL as his heir which has obvious implications for her future as Empress. - FL went into state of shock after Ruveliss confronted her for the truth. She became blank, empty and silent. Meanwhile he stumbled across her letters that mentioned her secret as told to Allendis. She comes back to her senses w/ help from her father. Later she shares her secret w/ her father and he accepts it without question. Elsewhere Ruveliss admits to himself that he is to blame for why FL fears him, especially his rejection of her. - When a part of the palace gardens is on fire, FL shows inspirational leadership in directing servants to put out the fire. - Rumours questioning FL’s relationship w/ Allendis and Carsein circulate among some jealous nobles, spread by the aristocratic faction. To retaliate FL studies up on all the Houses of the imperial faction and engages in social events to expand her support base. This includes solidifying their relationship through business ideas. - Allendis starts to secretly help the aristocratic faction. - Event: For Foundation Day, 5 x foreign princesses invited as candidates to be the future Empress. One very arrogant pushed by aristocratic faction. Other ends up accepting proposal from Carsein’s older brother. - Allendis confesses his feelings to FL but she can’t accept. - FL’s dad acknowledges her as next Head of the House and to act in that capacity as needed. - Emperor collapses and there are grave fears for his health. A High Priest is summoned. - FL and Carsein are attacked by assassins, w/ the most likely target being FL as they were sent by the aristocratic faction. Carsein’s eyes were blinded in the attack but are healed by the visiting High Priest. - Allendis confesses to the Emperor and Ruveliss about secretly leaking documents to the aristocratic faction. - The Emperor goes to the Summer Palace for his health and to avoid the heat. FL is reassigned there. - Event: (ch 110) “Blessed Child” and “girl from another world” Jieun appears at palace lake. She is aware of events that happened before, and is much more cunning and hostile this time. She’s given the name “Graspe” by God and adopted by Duke Zena, leader of the aristocratic faction. - The High Priest believes both Jieun and FL are children of prophecy. Jieun will have to prove her capabilities before she can take up a position at the imperial palace. - FL hears the prophecy of a new High Priest - The aristocratic faction cause trouble for the FL when it’s her turn to host Foundation Day celebrations. The next day FL collapses and is in a coma for 3 mths. The cause is due to poison and has made her infertile. - Meanwhile, the Emperor also collapsed and remains weak and bedridden. Soon after he passes away. Ruveliss becomes the next Emperor. After the funeral FL tells him that his father truly cared for him but was strict as he would have to lead the Empire one day. Ruveliss admitted he resented and envied FL all this time for the affection directed at her that he felt he never received. He reveals his mother was a maid and he was adopted by the Empress then. - At the council meeting to decide the next Empress, FL declares she has no interest in becoming Empress and asks Ruveliss to cancel their engagement. - The investigation into her poisoning seems to point to the temple being involved. - FL coming of age celebration: Ruveliss’ unexpected arrival sees FL ask him to be her 1st dance as an adult. - Jieun tells FL that Ruveliss searched for her desperately after her death and turned away from Jieun. - FL becomes a knight and tries to make the Blood Oath w/ Ruveliss but he refuses. - (Ch 132) FL and Ruveliss 1st kiss - FL continues to keep her heart closed and doesn’t believe Ruveliss won’t betray her again. - Ruveliss collapses due to the same poison used on FL and he asks her to covertly investigate who’s behind this. - Allendis’ brother dies after long illness. Allendis himself is back in the capital.

Ch 150 as of 22/03/22 ** Some really bad translation ** Plot is overly complicated and convoluted. Very slow burn … - FL’s family died one by one. Her father died in an accident but malicious rumours were spread that the family manipulated his death for the compensation. After losing everything and in the middle of a war, FL still felt committed to the principle of noblesse oblige. She made graves for a mother and child who died outside her home. She sang a requiem folk song which attracted a spirit that granted her a fresh start … - FL starts her life over as a baby. She is the youngest of 3 children in the family of Count Rustichel: Lucius, Robert / Robel and Calliope (Lippe). Her name means ‘beautiful voice’ in Greek. - Harrison (Hal) Alpinus, a playboy and FL’s oldest brother’s best mate, he has 5 younger siblings incl the very strong tomboy Elphinny. - FL’s 1st words at 11 mths old (full sentences): love, thanks to family. She’s declared a genius. - FL is adored by her doting family and household for her cuteness and loveliness. She becomes much closer with her family than before. - FL 5yo goes to her 1st tea party with her mum and shows flawless conduct and etiquette. She sees 12yo Hal there who hasn’t seen her since she was 1yo. She befriends Julian Sarlino (as “Angelina”, his late twin sister) and Hildert Samona, the arrogant son of a Marquis. - Hildert will become a high ranking official at the Aphrax palace (central bureaucratic institution) at the age of 19yo, known for his outstanding skills and work ethic. - FL wants to help Julian avoid growing up to be a psychotic murderer / serial killer due to the emotional trauma from his sister’s death and his mother. - FL is heard singing for the 1st time by her nanny and then her family. They are captivated by her voice. - At the Samona tea party, Sir Jade the tutor is exposed for trying to hit FL during a lesson. He is immediately dismissed as the tutor for the other noble families. - FL sees Lady Sarinette / Saharne who refused to help cover the cost of medicine for her mother when FL approached her as an adult. It brought back painful memories. - Away from everyone, FL sings her pain and heart out near a lake in the garden. Here she is noticed for the 1st time by (ML) son of Duke Castillo, Asterias (Rias) who is the Emperor’s nephew and a close friend of Hilbert. The Castillo duchy are responsible for surveillance magic. - Hal visits FL at home and brings 7yo Elphinny with him so she can become friends with FL. - Privately FL asks Hal if he knows who could cover up a murder of a noble at the same level as her family. They discuss the possible suspects at length and narrow it down to the imperial family, the head of the underworld, or the highest noble priest. FL also asks Hal about the nobility of high society and the White Dragon Knights. - Elphinny shows her strength in handling a wooden sword. FL’s father asks her about swordsmanship training. - FL increasingly feels the need to sing. - She is wary about singing folk songs and being persecuted by the temple and its followers. The temple grows in influence and power with the appearance of the Saintess. - FL as a child plans to invest in property and businesses using her knowledge of the future as a way to strengthen her family. She wants to increase their wealth, influence and authority. In her past life, someone had planned the financial ruin and failed investments of FL’s family before each of them were murdered. - FL tries to locate the land that will be the future site for the Temple to the God of Youth, which controlled access to its stigma. - The spirits of the land come up one by one to breathe in a place called the stigma. The stigma (breathing movement) is full of aether. When aether is used up it’s converted to terre (similar to O2 and CO2). Aether is the fundamental energy behind magic mana / sword aura / divine power. Aether is the energy of all creation. No aether = no life. - Lady Brinzell’s salon incident: FL is invited to rest in the salon after a sudden hyperventilation attack from the air feeling heavy and painful. Lady Brinzell (wife of a Viscount) accuses FL’s mother of using her children to gain the attention and favour of high society. FL calls the Lady shallow for her jealousy. Before the Lady can strike FL, she is stopped by ML who was secretly watching. - Later ML sets up Lady Brinzell to receive a last minute invitation to the Rohan evening party. At this high society party, ML provided a magic recording as proof that the Lady was abusing her children. - While resting at the salon, FL was contacted by Terra the Great Earth Spirit. Terra confirms the salon is the stigma site as the area was low in aether and needed stabilising. FL’s power hadn’t awakened yet which is why she hyperventilated from the terre forcing it’s way into her body to be converted. Now that FL has awakened, she has the power to convert terre to aether when she sings. - FL receives the salon as compensation for the incident with Lady Brinzell. FL reopens it as a baby salon catering to children. The salon is an income stream and a networking hub. - FL gives aether crystals from Terra to her family and nanny. - Lady Vasello, backed by her cousin Marquis Piente (closest aide to the Emperor): she killed her husband to marry an old count, then killed the count and his heir so she could become Countess. Later her crimes will be revealed and she’ll be executed. - Lady Vasello is rude to FL who publicly reveals her illegal business practices. ML arrives and helps FL. - FL tries to return the handkerchief ML left when he heard her first sing as it’s a memento from his mother. He implies it’s hers now as he no longer needs it. FL says she’ll wipe away his tears if the time comes. ML also implies he’ll keep it a secret that she sang a folk song. - White Dragon knighting ceremony: FL’s father is the captain. Lucius, Robert and Hal are members. - The White Dragons are the only order with no authority. They hold an honorary position and they value honour over power. They are loved by the commoners. - There are 4 knight orders: White, Red, Black, … - Black Dragon knights, “Emperor’s shadows” - Lady Kantena, vice captain of the Red Dragon knights. - FL’s parents invested in camera tech for the sole purpose of capturing and preserving FL’s cuteness and loveliness. FL’s photos as a model that are 1st published in the newspaper become another income stream for the family (thanks to FL’s negotiation skills). - FL becomes the exclusive model for the camera shop while obtaining info through their newspaper and reporting connections. - FL meets Cretienne / Cretianna (Tia) Piente at the salon who seems to be overly dependent on her aunt Lady Vasello, as her own mother died when she was little. She is lonely and immediately clings to FL. - FL has a new private tutor, Miss Bayer. - Julian Sarlino: FL rescues him from his mother who has become increasingly unstable. He stays at FL’s home until her bday and leaves when his maternal grandparents come. They are sending his mother to get treated at a hospital, and also arranging a divorce between his mother and father. - FL’s bday: ML gives her a miniature grand piano that plays the folk song she sang before. FL suspects ML might also have memories of their past life. - Book club: Cretianna, club organiser and host. She insults FL by suggesting she become her personal maid which implies she thinks FL has no ability to stand on her own feet. - Elphinny 14yo, Hildert Samona 12yo both defend FL. - Sir Harchen / Harcen, the genius musician - FL 12yo meets with Miss Bayer to discuss her career plans, and how she wants to sing. Miss Bayer disguises FL and takes her to a local cabaret bar to hear different songs that could appeal to the nobility. FL is invited to sing and is encouraged by ML who is in cognito in the crowd. He saves her from the bar owner and takes her home. - FL visits Duchess Castillo, ML’s grandmother and the top of noble society. FL wants her opinion on her song, which she hopes to popularise to break the temple’s domination over the Empire. What she needs is a cultural revolution. 15yo ML suggests himself as the pianist to accompany her song and for future practise. - Lady Veronica Mon Erte’s salon: known to attract creative types and foster discussion of new ideas. Sir Harchen plays a temple piece then invites FL to sing a song with him. She chooses to debut the folk song she’s been practicing. - As thanks, FL warns Lady Mon Erte about her relatives, the House of Walrens. Her Walren cousin made a scene earlier when FL rejected his confession. - ML also leaks info about the Walrens to the Lady (after he held captive the Walren cousin who had secret photos taken of FL). - FL secures a performance by Sir Harchen for Hal at his parents’ anniversary celebration. - Crown Prince 12th bday celebration: all nobles summoned to attend. ML was the previous appointed heir and is closer in line to the throne than the current Crown Prince who hasn’t been officially announced at the heir yet. The arrogant Crown Prince has an unhealthy obsession with FL, so ML insisted on her 1st dance with him. ML has a private audience with the Emperor to make sure FL isn’t on the Emperor’s radar. - Harchen’s recital: FL reluctantly attends but is pleasantly surprised when he plays variations of a folk songs. Later Harchen tells her that he sang folk songs in his rural upbringing but excluded them as he catered to the tastes of the nobility. He thanks FL for allowing him to return to his roots and accept them as part of who he is. He considers FL to be his muse. - FL recruits Harchen to her cause after ML agrees. - Cretianna’s salon: FL is there to perform a folk song, accompanied by Harchen. She is bullied by an upcoming opera singer but FL’s performance overshadows hers and truly touches the audience. - The temple and the Emperor try to ban folk songs but it’s too late as they’ve already become popular among the nobility. - A priest interrupts a tea party that FL is attending. He insults her about the vulgar, low level songs she sings which reflect her lack of education. The high priest arrives to stop the priest as they’ve discovered the stigma is located at the baby salon owned by FL. The high priest forces the priest to apologise to FL. - In FL’s past life, the head butler betrayed her family and took their property and money. She suspected Lady Saharne secretly helped the butler. This time FL set a trap that exposed the butler for fraud and a recording of the butler admitting that Lady Saharne was behind it. - At FL’s bday party, Terra appeared and took her to a magic forest. When FL returns, rumours quickly spread about the appearance of the Great Spirit and that FL is blessed.
When the Villainess Loves
Ch 66 as of 30/12/21 ** odd translation (really bad from Ch 60 on) ** on Tapas as “When the Villainess is in Love” ** End of Season 1, Ch 50 - FL liked all of the characters in a fantasy novel except for the 2 selfish protagonists. Pain and death came to the other characters to provide plot devices for the main couple’s happy ending. - The protagonists of the novel are the obsessive, psycho Crown Prince Lavrov and the naïve, innocent heroine Ariel Langton. - FL is reborn as 18yo imperial princess Libertia (Litia) Rham Triel. - She has Raphaelis, an incurable and terminal disease of the soul. - FL’s body has about 100 of Libertia’s memories yet to be revealed. She needs to regain all of these memories within the next year to be cured (ie her body and reborn soul will become one). While painless, FL coughs blood every 3 days as she regains a memory which are returning chronologically. - Libertia inherited her bad reputation as a villainess from her mother Lysian Vanus and the influence of her family. FL is reborn as Libertia 3mths before the main events start in the novel where she dies under torture in prison. - Crown Prince Lavrov is Libertia’s older half brother. - Lavrov’s mother who died was much loved by the Emperor. - Lysian was the next Empress (did she kill Lavrov’s mother?) - Lysian died when Libertia was very young (?) - Libertia tells FL to live freely. FL tries to give up her claim to the throne. She wants to leave the palace in 3mths to live on her own terms and far away from the protagonists. - FL gets a thorough health examination done as Libertia had kept her illness a secret. After he confirms her illness, he agrees to no arranged marriages for her. - He orders her to remain in the palace as a successor to the throne for 1yr before she can leave to do as she wishes. Unknown to FL, this is meant to protect her from her many enemies. - The atmosphere in FL’s palace improves after rumours spread about how her icy personality has thawed. Emma the head maid has always been on Libertia’s side. Young maids Rini and Arene are also loyal to FL. - FL fangirls and plans to save the other support characters ie: - Sir Eugene de Volton the “Free Knight”, - Duke Cain de Eirik the “Shadow Knight”, - Herrace the info guild master who loves crying faces, and - mysterious Daniel Robine the assassin guild master. - Eugene is wary of FL but comes to enjoy his 1st friendship with a lady who has only pure intentions. He commits to serving as her knight. Later his affections grow so much that he swears an oath while she sleeps. He will be her sword and shield. He will prioritise her above his heart and his life. - Cain is a workaholic and a half-vampire. - Cain has suffered much pain and loss since his childhood. He is touched by FL’s words telling him to let his mind rest. This is meant to soften the influence of Ariel over him later and avoid a bad end. - Cain despises Lavrov who pretended to be Cain’s friend then betrayed him. Cain was an outcast for being half-vampire. He was desperate for love and affection. Initially Cain just thought about FL as a tool to use against Lavrov. FL’s warmth and friendliness towards Cain makes his self-hatred diminish. He secretly vows to stay by her side. - Eugene and Cain are helping Dr Rox and Ripley the imperial herbalist to try and find a cure for FL. They’re working together to support FL as they believe she doesn’t have much longer to live. In the novel, Eugene and Cain didn’t get along. - Rumours spread that FL hasn’t got long to live. According to Dr Rox, FL has 2yrs left at the most. - Cain and Eugene go with FL into town. She sells off several salons that she owns (before they go bust later). Herrace and Daniel secretly observe them. It is implied that Daniel has been commissioned to assassinate FL. - Emma procures a magical diary for FL. - FL is writing in her diary when Herrace comes to her room through the window but she suddenly faints. After recovering another memory, FL wakes up and weeps for the original Libertia. Herrace is attracted by her tears and says he’s an angel. Eugene arrives and Herrace gives his name before disappearing. - FL wants to buy new outfits in town for Eugene and Cain. - They’re surprised when Herrace suddenly joins them. FL gets new clothes and accessories for the 3 men. Eugene and Cain misunderstand FL when Herrace asks why she isn’t buying anything for herself and she says she’s fine. - FL recruits Lady Yviene as her personal secretary and business administrator. Yviene ran away from home and an arranged marriage. In the novel, Yviene was discovered and employed by Lavrov to be his personal secretary and she gave up her dream of leading a merchant guild. Yviene kept her unrequited love for Lavrov a secret because of Ariel, who became her best friend. After they married, Yviene quit as secretary and moved far away. - FL recalls her 14th memory of 14yo Libertia. She sends away her beloved 4yo dog that she raised from a puppy after she receives a letter that says “Congratulations on surviving this year as well.” - FL comes across Jane in town when she’s caught trying to pick pocket. FL offers to help Jane and provides a house for her and her 3 siblings. FL turns down Jane’s offer to be her maid and says she will be their patron for the next year. - In the novel, Ariel saved Jane from thugs and Jane became Ariel’s loyal maid. Jane was looking for her siblings who became separated from her after a terrible fire. Jane didn’t find them before she died from drinking poison that was meant for Ariel. - FL finally tells Eugene, Cain and Herrace that she plans to leave after a year and asks them as her favourite friends to see her off with a smile. They mistakenly think she is letting go of everything so she leaves nothing behind. To them, she seems to be enduring everything about her pending demise alone. - FL hopes to befriend Daniel so he’ll protect her from Lavrov after she leaves the palace. In the novel, Daniel is stronger than Lavrov. - FL is in the library to find more info on Daniel. FL learns artificial spirits originated from the Robine Kingdom, which was destroyed by the Empire. Daniel was a Robine prince so he loathes the imperial family. Daniel has jewelled eyes because he is half human and half artificial spirit. - FL suddenly faints and is unconscious for 3 days. - The original Libertia tells FL to whisper her name in her memories whenever FL wants to meet again. - The Emperor summons FL after hearing she was unconscious for 3 days. He confirms that she still wants to leave and live freely. - The Emperor says Lavrov has been asking about her. Lavrov wants to confirm her plans for himself directly with her. - FL faints again and her anxiety about Lavrov makes the original Libertia say that she’ll withhold the memory recall for now. Instead FL will receive the memories all at once later. FL can call for Libertia again after she’s seen all of the remaining memories. - To appear harmless, FL wears a mourning veil to Lavrov’s bday ball to signify total defeat to an opponent. She asks him to act as if she doesn't exist. He calls off his secret commission for Daniel to assassinate FL and gets Marquis Gale (his RH man and close aide) to find out more about what she’s up to. Lavrov was told by the Emperor that FL wanted to give up her succession rights but not about FL having Raphaelis. - After finally filling up her magical diary, FL can now form a contract with it’s artificial spirit who is a huge eagle called Jen. - FL intentionally went to the Moonlight Bar in town and meets Daniel for the first time. Jen senses Daniel’s bloodlust and warns her that he’s dangerous. - Ariel Langton, daughter of a Duke. - Since she was 10yo, she had a mysterious childhood friend who turned out to be Lavrov. She said he was her “fairy.” - FL makes a deal with Lavrov to help him have a happy relationship with Ariel in exchange for FL’s freedom. FL gets Lavrov to sign a mana authentication contract for their deal. FL helps him with writing letters to Ariel before she arrives in the capital for her social debut. - FL meets Daniel a couple more times in the streets of the capital. - He observes FL buying up all of the accessories made by a kind old woman. With Jen’s help, FL saves a young lady from 2 thugs. - FL asks Daniel about the possibility that Jen is being held captive by the contract and wants to know how to set Jen free. When FL asks Jen, he says he doesn’t want to be released just yet. - FL sneaks out of the palace to find Daniel. He surprises her while she’s watching the parade for the annual Beatrice Festival. - Beatrice Lindea was the world’s most beautiful woman. - Daniel changes FL’s hair colour to make it dark so she can participate in the Beatrice beauty competition. She wins and is named the Beatrice for this year. - Daniel offers to escort FL to the ball that night. He uses an alias. When they greet Lavrov, he recognises Daniel and isn’t amused. - FL saves a young lady called Sophia Marcien from being sexually harassed by the 5th Prince of the Barsion kingdom. FL gets Jen to punish him with a mental attack. - After the ball, Daniel reveals to FL that he’s an artificial spirit hybrid. In return for their contractor’s tears, artificial spirits grant wishes. Tears filled with human emotion are the greatest power source to a spirit. FL says he can have her tears in exchange for being her close friend. He says his powers and abilities are similar to a demon. FL shouldn’t be friends with or make a contract with a demon. He doesn’t want to hurt her or make her cry. - FL finds Daniel again with Jen’s help. She says she doesn’t care who or what he is. Daniel agrees to enter a contract with FL on the condition she lets him taste her tears. She starts to cry after looking into his eyes and he kisses her. Eugene sees them together and calls out to FL. After a few days Daniel leaves behind a contract which FL signs with a drop of blood. - Daniel gives FL a book about Raphaelis (some pages are missing). She learns that the illness originates from other people’s malice. - FL gets Yviene to stockpile the Lystia herb to prepare for a shortage of medicinal herbs in the region. From the novel, a devastating plague will soon sweep the Empire due to illegal experiments by magic terrorists. - FL and Daniel visit Jane and her younger brothers Nell, Pell and Colin. FL discovers there are no children’s books in this world, so she decides to write one herself. She publishes her first book of fairytales under the alias ‘Emile’. - The book is very popular. Ariel comes to the capital early to meet her ‘fairy’ Lavrov while also hoping to meet the author. - That night Ariel and Lavrov enter the ball together for Ariel’s coming-of-age ceremony. FL is excited to see the events of the novel occur before her eyes. - After seeing FL cough blood before, Lavrov was finally told by the Emperor that FL has Raphaelis. Lavrov receives the report on the investigation by Herrace, Cain and Eugene into the malicious rumours about FL. The Emperor earlier ordered for the rumours to be dealt with by them. FL asked Eugene and Cain to focus on investigating outside of the palace so they wouldn’t be involved with Ariel like they were in the novel. - Ariel finds out that FL is the author (?)

She receives a note from Hyacinth asking her to come to Karisen. Her father allows FL to go to the Karisen Empire. He appoints her as the head of the Tarium wedding delegation. - FL arrives at Karisen and meets with Hyacinth who greets her warmly. She pushes him away and demands an explanation. - Hyacinth needed Duke Daga with the 2nd largest army in the Empire who was allied with Heium. He is the person FL trusts the most. - Prince Raean, FL’s older brother who stepped down as heir to the throne. He wants to be a scholar and become a great prophet. Both FL and Raean are children of the Empress. - Prince Thula, FL’s half brother and son of Consort Anaktcha. - FL heads home on the morning after the wedding. - FL’s father tells her that she is now the heir to the throne after Raean stepped down. After Klein offers to go, Hyacinth agrees to send him as a diplomatic gesture. - In a secret letter, Hyacinth warns FL that someone is interfering with her mail. She hasn’t received any of his letters and gifts that he’s been sending once a week. Later Hyacinth sends word that half of the mail was stopped in Karisen (most likely under Duke Daga’s orders). The other half were stopped in Tarium. - FL asks Sir Sonnaught to investigate the mail thief. - FL is still looking for who was behind her father’s assassination. - Ranamun applied to be a consort because his pride was hurt when he heard about the harem. He’s determined to be named the royal consort within a year. - Duke Atraxil urgently informs FL that evidence has been found of Thula working with another Empire to seize the throne. - Because Thula used the imperial seal, it’s a binding contract that’s still in effect. FL could be asked to honour the contract in the future. It’s unknown what Thula promised and to whom. - Guesta Rhodes, 2nd son of the Tarium Chancellor. - Tasir Anghes, heir to the Anghes Trading Company. - Carlein, Leader of the Black Reapers Mercenary Company. Known as the King of Mercenaries. - FL tried to sneak a peek at Tasir and Carlein before they entered the palace. She went undercover with Sir Sonnaught and some other guards. Tasir figured out FL and her posse right away. Carlein was nowhere to be seen. - At the harem induction ceremony: the consorts each sign a contract and FL puts a ring on their finger. - That night, FL decides to spend the 1st night with Ranamun. FL just goes to sleep, despite Ranamun trying to seduce her. - FL is worried about Guesta, her childhood friend. As he’s gentle and shy, FL tells him to let her know if the other consorts trouble him. - FL spends a night with Carlein. He calls her “Master” and says he’s known her since before she was born. - Someone desecrates the tomb of FL’s father, painting the symbol of an infamous assassins guild called Black Forest. - A note was left that says “you’re the one who killed your own father”. - Klein tells FL he doesn’t think the real Black Forest are involved in the desecration of her father’s tomb. Hyacinth was rejected by them when he tried to commission them to kill Hieum. He was told that Black Forest don’t want to get involved with royalty. - FL asks Carlein and Tasir about what they know of Black Forest. Tasir admits that he is the head of Black Forest. He claims all previous Emperors sanctioned Black Forest to operate as a shadow organisation. FL wasn’t approached by them right away as at 1st they didn’t trust her and suspected her of killing her father. - The Black Forest were ordered to investigate FL by her father. - He was assassinated not long after, which is why she was suspected but was found to be unrelated to his death. - While Black Forest have sworn loyalty to the Emperor of Tarium, it is not beholden to the throne. It’s more like a close partnership. - Tasir brings FL the documents with the seals of the previous Emperors as proof. He asks FL to treat him as her man and not as her subordinate. - Axian, the vice general of the Karisen imperial knights. - Hyacinth sent Axian to guard Klein (and keep an eye on him). - There’s an incident between Klein, Guesta and Guesta’s servant, Trie. They agree to let it go for FL. - A man has turned himself in and claims to be the one who killed FL’s father. He knows all of the details about his death that haven’t been publicly released. - FL allows the man to escape on purpose. After he is recaptured, she says she knows he’s not the real assassin based on his lack of skills and clumsiness while escaping. She wants to know why he confessed to a crime he didn’t commit. - As he says “Thula”, blood explodes from his mouth. His last words are “All hail the lord” then he dies. - A sage is called and they confirm it’s a curse. They recommend for the body to be burned to avoid contamination. - FL orders for the man’s portrait to be drawn quickly. He was most likely connected to those who were behind her father’s assassination. His portrait would help with making enquiries. - FL also orders to bring in those known to practice black magic or cast curses in secret. - FL will also seek the advice of Hytla the elder sage. - FL summons Tasir and asks him to look into the connection between Thula and the now dead fake assassin. She asks him to see if Thula’s supporters were involved in her father’s death or just using his death to sow chaos. - Tasir asks FL for a reward if he does well. - FL needs to hold the coronation celebration banquet. It’s the 1st time she’ll be inviting foreign guests as Emperor. This event is traditionally organised and hosted by the Emperor’s spouse. - FL asks Tasir and Guesta to work together on the celebration, as they’ve had the least conflict among the consorts. - Guesta shows his true personality to Tasir. - Klein lost a talisman given to him from the Great Sage of Karisen. He believes it’s been stolen. FL orders for all rooms to be searched. - Ranamun says he saw Carlein go into Klein’s room. Carlein denies this. Later Ranamun accuses Carlein of lying, Carlein threatens him. - Hytla the elder sage arrives to see FL. - He suggests the black mages arise once every 500yrs. - He says the one person who can still perform an exorcism is the Great Sage (of Tarium?), but he hides himself from the world. Hytla knows his whereabouts and offers to deliver a letter from FL to him. - Not long after Hytla left with the letter, Sir Sonnaught reports that Hytla with his attendant and carriage driver were all murdered. It happened 15mins after he left the city. The letter FL wrote was also taken. Not knowing the whereabouts of the Great Sage, FL issues a decree that is posted across the Empire. The Great Sage is invited to the coronation celebration. - FL finds Klein in the garden fighting with Guesta. She tells Klein to pack his things and go home. - FL sees Tasir for an update on his investigations. So far no obvious tie has been found between Thula and her father’s assassination. As FL leaves, Tasir tells her how upset Klein was when she left him 5mins after coming to see him. Tasir asks FL to forgive Klein just this once. - When Tasir’s servant asks why, Tasir explains he wants to get close to Klein so he can learn about Hyacinth’s personality. - Tasir also knows he’d be the next target of the conniving Guesta if Klein were to go. - FL receives a letter from the Great Sage, confirming he’ll be attending the coronation banquet. It’ll be an unofficial visit as he wishes to keep his identity a secret. He’ll approach her when it is deemed safe to do so. - FL finally spends a night with Klein. - Coronation banquet: FL is presented with men as gifts to add to her harem by the invited dignitaries. She invites Ranamun for the 1st dance but he purposefully steps on her toes as revenge for neglecting him. - FL leaves the banquet hall to find the Great Sage. She can somehow hear the thoughts of a nobleman who wants to harm the Great Sage. She follows him then sees a group of assassins surrounding the Great Sage outside. FL jumps from the balcony window to where they are and attacks them. - The Great Sage hides while FL has her guards take away the assassins. He heals a wound on her leg to prove who he is. - The Great Sage admits he doesn’t know how to perform an exorcism. He also doesn’t have any knowledge on black magic, but he says his presence alone suppresses black magic. He suggests the Great Prophet might know something. - The Great Sage asks to be inducted into FL’s harem as a consort. There he can hide in safety under her protection as attacks on him have increased since her coronation. - After the banquet, FL interrogates the assassins and discovers Thula is still alive and working with a tactician called “The Fox”. - She used her mind reading ability but can’t control it yet. - After the Great Sage arrives at the harem as Zaicin, FL visits him that night. - FL tests her new ability on the consorts. It only works on Klein. - Raean arrives with the Great Prophet after being summoned by FL. The Great Prophet tells FL that from his research, he also thinks black mages arise every 500yrs. Other creatures besides zombies are also awakened from black magic: ghouls and vampires. The black mages are in league with these creatures to gain power. These creatures and the black mages are all led by one called the Lord. - It’s possible that Thula is this legendary Lord. - The Great Prophet will investigate Thula’s whereabouts, the methodology of exorcisms and the dark creatures’ weaknesses. - FL uses her ability on the 1st division of the royal guards to pinpoint a spy. She has that guard Paul watched by Black Forest. - FL and Tasir follow Paul when he leaves the barracks and heads into town. Paul meets with some men. As FL is about to follow, she sees a man with a fox mask watching them. - FL chases after the Fox while Tasir follows Paul. - FL and the Fox are suddenly attacked by a group of men. They defeat the men together. The Fox tells FL it’s not time for her to step forward yet and she must protect herself. He calls her “Lord” before leaving. Tasir captured Paul and the man he met. That man kills himself in prison. Paul claims to be working for the true owner of the throne. FL thinks Paul is referring to Thula. Sir Sonnaught suggests he could also mean Raean. - FL tests her ability again by getting people drunk. It fails with Sir Sonnaught and also with Guesta. It works with Klein. - FL asks Zaicin for a talisman for Klein. He gives one to FL as well. He is forbidden to drink alcohol so FL can’t test him. - FL sees Carlein who collapses. The doctor says he’s weak and mustn’t overexert himself. As Carlein sleeps, FL touches his head and enters his dream. He’s crying in the arms of another woman. FL thinks he might’ve entered the harem because his lover died. - FL sees Ranamun who takes one sip of wine and promptly goes to bed. She fails to get Tasir drunk. - Lady Aini faints in the garden after hearing a voice like Heium’s call her name. Another night she follows the sound of humming to Heium’s favourite song. In the music room she speaks with Heium’s shadow (?). - Zaicin is injured after falling down a flight of stairs. - Guesta may have pushed Zaicin down the stairs (tbc).

Marianne married FL’s father 6yrs ago. Sharon’s father was a Baron. FL recalls her past life memories as a commoner after she was pushed down the stairs by Sharon. FL’s only allies in the house are her maid Leah and her youngest half-brother Rudolph. - During a visit to discuss a possible engagement with Sharon, FL approaches 2nd Prince Leopold / Loenhartz with a gift for his sister Princess Cynthia. FL receives a personal invitation from the Princess to a ball at the palace. Marianne tries to humiliate FL by ordering a hideous new dress for her. FL uses her expert sewing skills from her past life to alter the dress completely. FL makes a stunning entrance at the ball. - FL attends a tea party at the palace with just the Princess where she meets the current Emperor of the Luminous imperial family. As FL is taken for a walk around the gardens, the 2nd Prince suggests getting engaged to FL. He offers to endorse Theo as the next Duke in exchange for Theo’s support of him as the Crown Prince. - FL defers this to her stepmother and Theo, as she knows from the novel that 1st Prince Claudian will become the Crown Prince. Claudian is currently attending the Academy with Theo. - FL makes a deal with Kenneth (Count Relampago), master and owner of the famous Marion Trading House. She offers to provide the location of an extremely rare and valuable magic stone. He agrees to pay her for the info and to give her a % of the sales from the magic stone. She leaves her toy bunny (a precious gift from her brother) as collateral and a sign of mutual trust. - Tayle, elite agent of the Magnolia Trading House. - FL asked Kenneth for an escort from the trading house to go with her to Blacktown. It’s under jurisdiction of the demons, and their leader is Beauregarde / Belgarde the Crown Prince of Magic and the Demon Realm. They’re attacked by 2 agents of the rival Maron Trading House. FL is saved by Belgarde but he banishes all 4 of them from Blacktown. - In the novel, there is a war between demons and humans over the magic stone. The demon army is defeated by the humans led by Theo and his holy sword. Belgarde decides to commit suicide. FL wants to change the tragic fates of herself and Belgarde. - Textile imports are the family business of the Crescente duchy. - It’s currently being (mis)managed by Marianne as the acting head. She’s raised prices that’s made clothing expensive for commoners in the capital. The Marigold Trading House saw an opportunity and expanded its business into providing more affordable, quality textiles. A boutique was opened in Broken Mountain, where the magic stone happens to be located. - FL takes Leah shopping in Broken Mountain. - There’s a surprise monster attack but the demons led by Belgarde save the humans. Belgarde saves FL again. He gets Kiel (a celestial-demon mixed race) to heal her ankle. - Later Belgarde crosses paths with FL as she takes a break in a field. He’s visiting a grave and FL picks some flowers for the grave too. They’re fleabane daisies and mean “reconciliation.” - Belgarde admits no one is buried under the gravestone. - Belgarde hasn’t been able to find his younger sister’s remains after she committed suicide by jumping from a cliff. His sister believed in the possibility of a peaceful coexistence between demons and humans. He advises FL to avoid associating with demons and to act like she doesn’t know him. She rejects his advice. - FL isn’t allowed to go to the palace by Marianne and Sharon, despite also being invited. The 2nd Prince makes a surprise visit to FL (who was falsely reported as being sick) and insists on escorting her to the palace. - After dinner FL goes for a walk in the palace gardens and happens to meet Belgarde and Kiel. They were secretly trying to meet with the Emperor. Belgarde stops Kiel from killing FL and trusts her to keep their visit a secret. - Back at home, FL is slapped by Sharon. Marianne orders FL to clean the entire mansion by herself for the day as punishment. Rudolph smuggles some bread to FL when she’s not given any dinner. The maids prepared a banquet in the kitchen just for FL. - National Founder’s Day ball: Kenneth asks FL to dance. - Kenneth tells FL that someone is spreading rumours that demons were behind the monster attack. He plans to investigate who’s really responsible. FL is returned safely from the demon realm. - FL keeps it a secret that demons kidnapped her. - Belgarde made a vow that as long as he’s alive and wherever FL may be, she’ll be safe. No matter what happens, he’ll never hurt her. - Theo hears about the kidnapping and is stopped from returning home by his friends. He sends a precious locket with their mother’s portrait to FL as consolation. Marianne had long ago removed all of their mother’s things. - FL receives a basket of roses and a ticket to a street theatre performance from Kenneth. She’s surprised to see Kenneth in the performance. He admits acting is his hobby. He also wanted to lift FL’s spirits after the kidnapping. - When FL returns home, she’s slapped hard by Sharon who found letters from Theo in FL’s room. Marianne rips up the letters and Sharon tries to take the locket. FL fights back and Leah blocks Sharon, telling FL to run away. She escapes to Blacktown. - FL is tempted to buy poison to kill Marianne and Sharon. She decides not to as this would only make things worse. - Belgarde saves FL from demons who were harassing her. - She stays overnight at Cafe Elixir that is the only neutral zone for demons and humans in Blacktown. FL insists on working at the cafe to pay back Jude the owner for her stay. Belgarde gives FL the option of staying on at the cafe, but FL decides not to. He says she’s can always return if she needs help. - Marianne sent the Maron Trading House agents who attacked FL before to retrieve FL, as the 2nd Prince had made a surprise visit and was asking about her. He hadn’t received a reply to his invitation to an equestrian gathering. He finds out Marianne didn’t give the invite to FL. - Lady Patricia Elvindot and Sharon are also at the equestrian gathering. Sharon shows how ruthless she is when she uses a needle to prick Patricia’s horse during a race between them. Patricia falls from her startled horse and breaks her leg. - Later Sharon goes to Blacktown and obtains a lethal poison called Belladonna’s Tears to use on FL. In the novel, FL died from poisoning. Belgarde warns FL after he hears about Sharon buying poison. FL plans to use this as an opportunity to protect herself and her family’s legacy. Kenneth smells the poison scent and demands an investigation. - Belgarde watches from outside in case FL doesn’t wake up. - The antidote works at last. FL awakes and sits up in the coffin. Sharon is so terrified that she confesses her crime before everyone. She is arrested and awaiting trial after the leftover poison was found as evidence. Marianne is under house arrest for life. This interferes with her plans for the 2nd Prince to be the next Emperor. - The 2nd Empress tells FL to marry the 2nd Prince, effectively taking FL hostage. If FL refuses, she will die. - FL says if she doesn’t leave unharmed, an article will be published about the 2nd Empress’ use of forbidden witchcraft in the recent scandals and deaths in FL’s family. This was arranged by Kenneth. - After FL has left, the 2nd Prince tells his mother that he was never interested in competing with his half brother for the throne. Ramona broke free by breaking the door. - The 2nd Empress was the one who had encouraged Patricia to create discord between FL and Theo. - Claudian recognises the brooch worn by FL as a prohibited demon jewel. It has high level defensive magic and was a gift from Belgarde. Theo helps cover for FL by saying he gave it to her. - The celestials gave a holy sword to Theo, a holy dagger to Claudian, and a powerful healing potion to Ramona as thanks and rewards for their help. Claudian is summoned by the Emperor. They all decide to graduate early and return to the capital together. - National Founder’s Day tournament: for the first time commoners are allowed to participate. Belgarde enters in a disguise. He is beaten in the semi-finals by Theo with his holy sword. - FL finds Belgarde to treat his wound. He wanted to check the power of the holy sword and see FL. He sensed the same magic from Belgarde as the magic in the brooch. - The truth is the imperial palace sent human soldiers to launch a surprise attack on the demons first. The Emperor covets the magic stones from a catalyst which was left behind by an ancient magic empire. The catalyst has the power to calm and subdue violent monsters. Whenever the power of the catalyst weakens, it creates magic stones as a residual byproduct and allows monsters to appear. - Intentionally disturbing the catalyst means more monsters will appear. The demons are trying to prevent this and have been protecting the realms from monsters all this time. - FL commissions Kenneth to find Belgarde before the Emperor does. She tells him all about the magic catalyst and the origin of magic stones that she’d read about in the novel. Kenneth finds Belgarde and Kiel, and takes them to a secret hideout. FL visits them with supplies and medicine. Kenneth brings a trusted doctor who knows how to treat demons. - As Belgarde sleeps, FL confesses her feelings to him. (Ch 83) - One night Theo discovers FL secretly left the estate. When FL returns, he says he fired Leah for lying to him. FL wants Theo to reinstate Leah because she was the only friend FL had during the years he was away. FL says she was angry for a long time because Theo never came back to check on her when she was struggling so much just to stay sane and survive. - FL is cutting ties with her family and leaving the estate. They decide to head to the demon realm to check on FL and try to end the war. - Claudian considers family love and devotion to be foreign concepts. His father encouraged the competition between the 2 princes while further securing his own power base. - FL is with Belgarde and Kiel. Tayle and Ken were helped by Theo to get to them. Ken takes them to a secret passage used for smuggling by the Magnolia Trading House to do business with demons. - FL arrives in the demon realm. Belgarde insists to the demon guards that FL comes with him to the demon palace. - The Demon King regards FL as the human enemy. - FL offers herself as a valuable hostage to the Demon King. - The Demon Queen speaks up in support of letting FL stay in the demon palace as a guest. She doesn’t want to lose another child. The Demon Queen hopes in the future FL will become a bridge between demons and humans. - Leona Cologne is a demon guard and daughter of a Count. She aspires to be Belgarde’s wife in a political marriage despite already having a (female) lover. She tries to intimidate FL by claiming she is Belgarde’s fiancée. - FL says Leona will be happier to be with someone that really cares about her. Those people are hard to find and should be cherished. - Belgarde says he won’t ever get married. He blames himself for Cecilia’s death and thinks he doesn’t deserve to be happy. - FL goes for a walk and meets Jude who came with other humans to the demon realm when they fled from Blacktown. - Jude assures FL that Belgarde doesn’t see her as his sister. - Jude and his brother were orphans and commoners. - Jude first met Belgarde not long after the death of his younger brother. Jude wanted to kill Belgarde but was stopped by demon guards. Belgarde apologised to Jude. - Jude’s brother died from an accident because he was going too fast while trying to escape from the demon guards chasing him. - FL gets lost in the demon palace and discovers the Demon King secretly has Cecilia’s body under Kiel’s care. She is in a coma. Kiel slowly infuses Cecilia with his limited divine power. An enormous amount of holy power is needed to awaken her, but too much at once destroys demons (?) - FL thinks the healing potion given to Ramona could help Cecilia. - Suddenly Cecilia’s spirit can be seen by Jude. - FL takes Belgarde to see Cecilia’s body. - Cecilia’s spirit enters FL’s mind and asks FL to pass on a message from her.

Later FL finds Leo drunk outside her room so he is put to bed, while FL stays in another room. - On her last night at the Stein duchy, FL sees Leo hugging and being comforted by the real Juliana. Zion takes FL away and asks her if they could date for real. He says he likes her. FL doesn’t want to be the reason for ruining Zion and Leo’s friendship. Zion needs to make a choice between love and friendship. - In town, Lady Haribo meets FL for a catch up. - FL sees Julian pass by and she gets Lady Haribo to follow him together. He’s afraid of losing her. - Julian as the fake Juliana has a silver brooch that is similar to the one that the real Juliana has. It’s actually a magic tool created by Zion. 15mins after taking off the brooch, Julian returns to his original male body. He has 30mins before he starts to sweat and feel suffocated. He has to put the brooch back on to stop these symptoms. The brooch is also a tool to communicate with Zion (?)
