As long as he wears this token of friendship, no elves will turn against him. The elves give ML an elven bow, 30 arrows and an elven rapier. - A L25 grizzly bear attacks ML. He defeats the bear with his bare hands using the Seed of the Mother Tree and he levels up. - May introduces herself afterwards and offers to travel with ML out of Luxy Forest together. ML lied and said he was a warrior and planned to conquer the world in the game. - With May’s help, ML has almost catalogued all of the plants and flowers of Luxy Forest in his plant journal. He uses elven climbing gear to explore a steep and rocky mountain but dies after falling down a cliff. - ML wakes up to find the sealed Flower of Spirits in a hidden pocket universe created by Tinlite in his soul. The flower opens briefly to reveal Bloria, a world where the spirits of flowers reside. With this, ML has completed the records for the Luxy Forest in his plant journal. - Class quest: - Help the Flower of Spirits blossom next to the reborn Mother Tree. They find themselves in the Ferma desert and try to approach an oasis but it’s a mirage. - ML is sucked into a whirlpool which turns out to be the entrance to a hidden dungeon. - Surprise quest: help the cursed insurgent army of Kopei or help Brezal the Tyrant King. ML agrees to help the insurgents. - Brezal was blinded by greed and didn’t want to give his wealth to his successors. He sacrificed his people and his country to make a deal with the Great Devil Kalisto for riches and eternal life. - Samantha, L121 Sand Carver, Prime Guild member. - She's been searching the desert for the hidden dungeon for a mth. She needs King Brezal for her class quest. - A L230 golden sand golem smashes through the dungeon floor. - The rebels turn into sand when they die and are reborn again to repeat their endless battle. ML jumps down the hole created by the golem and sees the doors to Brezal’s secret treasury that’s guarded by L85 undead knights. - Side quest: stop the eternal curse. - The spirit of life woke up the mind of the L135 knight captain. - The captain leads ML to the heart of the dungeon for ML to break the curse by flipping the magic hourglass to let time flow as normal. - The spirit of life helps ML regenerate and resist the demonic curse in the chamber with the hourglass. - The Kopei kingdom is released from it's seal. - The undead knights are freed from the curse and vanish. - ML is swept away by water released from an underground reservoir. ML reaches the throne room and faces Brezal who disappears once all of the sand runs out of the hourglass. - ML levels up and only Brezal’s legendary crown is left. - Legendary item: Hourglass Frozen in Time - It contains the power of the Great Devil Kalisto. - You can summon the Kopei mirage soldiers bound to the hourglass. You can also summon the golden golem. - ML puts the crown on his head and is the first player of the New World to become a king. He decides to create Elysia as the new home for the elves in the desert and open his flower shop here too. - Samantha meets May and ML when he rises from the sands after completing the dungeon quest. She decides to kneel before ML the new king for the sake of her class quest. - With the water welling up from underground, ML uses his rapid growth skill on an ifeltz flower seed after planting it in the sand. The common ifeltz flower can grow anywhere and spreads quickly. - Samantha’s L50 sand golems and the L45 Kopei mirage soldiers are cultivating the land. The elves of Luxy Forest are also helping ML to bring life to the desert. It’s the basis of all elven fighting techniques where they commune with nature and borrow the power of the spirits. - With the help of the elves, ML trains his Elbo attacks while borrowing the Spirit of Life’s power. ML is now L82. - They arrive at the Great City of the Wizard in the Rassel kingdom. ML visits a smithy to commission a weapon and meets his first dwarf, Vulka. - Surprise quest: find and return Vulka’s family anvil. - Vulka is a gambling addict and pawned his anvil. - The Red Balloon gang run the shady underbelly of the city. - The elves beat up the gang members who visit Vulka about his debt while ML is there. As thanks, Vulka uses bear claws to make legendary weapons for ML’s hands. - Dessi, 3rd division leader of the Red Balloons. - The gang members led by Dessi attack ML and the elves but are defeated again. Dessi is grateful for ML’s mercy in not killing them and helps ML with a way to get back Vulka’s anvil. If ML wins against the Angler, he can get the anvil. - The Angler, the god of gambling who’s true form is a lesser demon and he’s been cleaning up at the gambling den. - ML attracts the attention of the Angler who invites ML for a game. ML resists the curse from the Angler as ML is beloved by nature and is protected from impure forces. The game was rigged from the start by Dessi and his men so that ML would win. - ML defeats the Angler by using some sleight of hand and wins the game. The elves destroy the Angler when he reveals his true demon form. ML obtains the Angler’s Eyepatch, a rare magic item that can tell if an NPC is lying. ML also gets the Angler’s treasure. - ML negotiates with Red Balloon on Vulka’s debt. - The Red Balloon King agrees to lower the debt in exchange for meeting ML. The debt is paid and the anvil is returned to Vulka. - Rynior, archmage and the Red Tower of Magic leader. - ML bribes the guard to get into the Red Tower. - ML meets Rynior who is also the Red Balloon King. - Rynior is impressed by ML and agrees to work with ML. He wants to establish a long term trade deal with ML. - Rynior casts a high level teleportation spell that sends ML, the elves and 3 mages directly to Elysia. - Red, one of the mages, is a Grizzly Bear Guild member. - Huka, L11 labourer and FLA member. - He live streamed the Grizzly Bear Guild members getting smashed by the elves gathered at Elysia. An advanced party from the guild arrived to capture ML after Crowking issued an arrest warrant. Samantha told the elves that the party insulted ML. - Reinforcements from the Grizzly Bear Guild arrive. - ML and his group happen to teleport there at the same time. - Red is recognised by the guild members but he betrays them and casts a lightning spell. The elves proceed to wipe out the guild members. Huka continues to live stream. - Taylor, L273 shadow assassin, Grizzly Bear Guild member. - After failing to assassinate ML, Taylor is caught by ML. - Taylor is let go (?) - Following the live stream, rumours spread about ML. - ML decides to finally succeed the Kopei kingdom and declare a kingdom of his own, Elysia Flower Shop. - May and Samantha automatically become meritorious retainers. They can receive noble titles once Elysia is more established. - ML as the 1st player king is announced in a global message. - ML creates ifeltz flower bracelets to help other players like Ziant, Samantha and Wansik improve their relationships with elves. - ML finds out about grow powder from the elves. - The powder strengthens the bracelets so they last longer. The powder is harvested from Bloria. - Using your bare hands to work with manure helps to further strengthen the bracelet and it's effects. - The bracelets are added as a reward for the city construction quest. - The oasis is the centre of Elysia and is called the Milky Way of Elysia by the elves. The Mother Tree is in the middle of the oasis. It finally starts to sprout under ML’s plant observation skill. ML is the first human to hear the voice of the Mother Tree. ML is now L99. - The slow growth of the Mother Tree is due to the lack of spirit energy where the seed was planted. - ML’s parents find out about his flower shop. - They support his success in the game if he can show it will provide a financially secure future for him. - ML looks for ways to make money in the game to prove to his parents that the game should be a priority in his life. He meets Huka to get exclusive streaming rights and share the profits. - Grand Duke Arief, the most powerful noble NPC in the Rassel kingdom. Arief cautions the Rassel nobles who want to invade Elysia as ML is supported by the Red Tower. - A delegation of 3 Rassel noble NPCs are sent to Elysia. They have a message from King Rasselius VII for ML to kneel and become the Grand Duke of Elysia as a vassal state of the Rassel kingdom. ML refuses and says the Rassel king didn’t help when the Grizzly Bear Guild attacked. ML scares off the delegation. - Luxy Forest and the Ferma desert are former worthless territories of the Rassel kingdom. Tinlite made a deal with the Rassel kingdom. He paid a fair price for Luxy Forest and the Ferma desert that Rassel now shares borders with. Rassel have no claim over these areas anymore. - The Red Tower mages have carved runes into the greenhouse structures in Elysia. Temperature and humidity can be adjusted using the control panel. Elves can do the same thing by communing with spirits. To thank the 3 mages, ML made each of them a rare flower garland. It has a good mana recovery buff that is stackable. - Samantha admires ML as someone who truly enjoys the game. - Class quest and job change: Samantha agrees to become a Spirit Knight of the Desert, L302 rare class. - ML creates a new and rare high level recovery potion, Lufeltz essence. It’s made from the lunus and ifeltz flowers. To handle the volume of queries, ML sets up a call centre, starting with 5 players recruited from the FLA. - ML receives his first order for a flower wreath from Red the mage. For the order ML creates the Blue Mist Grass Circlet with a spell damage buff, his first legendary item. ML is now L100. - Red wears his circlet and garland for a dungeon raid with 3 other players. Afterwards, ML receives flower orders from the 3 players but ML blocks them when they insist on a discount. - Croissant’s trading company is based in the city of Otolk on the Sitra continent, which is north of the Teras continent. - Croissant invites ML to an annual festival called The Unending Night in Otolk. She hopes this big festival will help promote ML’s flowers and products to more of the young noble NPCs. Her trading company is one of the festival’s sponsors. - ML travels with Samantha to Otolk. On the way, they meet a demon called Sikuud at Embay Forest. ML uses the Angler’s Eyepatch while interrogating Sikuud. - Surprise quest: help Sikuud and his demon tribe against the elves. Tinlite was a friend of the demons and he left a legendary item with the tribe, Tinlite’s Trowel. Later ML uses it to collect samples of the demonic plants in Embay Forest on the way to Otolk. - ML convinces the elves to let the demons stay in Embay Forest. Not letting the demons return to the demonic world is the best way to torture the demons. Most of the elf tribe leave for Elysia. Some elves remain to keep an eye on the demons and to train Samantha as ML’s bodyguard. - Class quest: - In Embay Forest, the Sea of Fire elf tribe train Samantha on how to harness the fire spirits’ power and use the spirit sword skill. - Spirit sword is the ultimate skill of elven knights. - Once Samantha achieves L100 in this skill, she’ll be promoted to the unique class of Celeana Blade. - ML meets Croissant in Otolk and goes to her HQ. She owns one of the top trading companies on the Sitra continent. They attend an important banquet for nobles hosted by Rumio, lord of Otolk. - ML accepts Rumio’s challenge to give a cooking demo. ML uses demonic plants in his cooking to curse the rude nobles. - He unintentionally summons the spirit of demonic plants. Then ML serves a legendary class, underworld chimera stir-fry dish which causes the nobles to hallucinate. He brainwashes them all to remember the word Elysia. - As ML leaves Otolk, he’s suddenly attacked by Wooster who wants his Twilight Barrier shield back. - ML uses Elbo with the power of the demonic plants spirit and the Trowel to defeat him and Wooster dies again. - Back in Embay Forest, ML finds a secret tunnel to an abandoned mine in the demons’ storage cave. ML with Samantha and 5 elves enter the tunnel and discover luminescent stalactite flowers shining from the cavern ceiling. These extremely rare flowers are cared for by a giant called Mountain Hermit. - Surprise quest: have a conversation with Mountain Hermit, the only pure blooded giant left in New World. - The giant stayed in the cavern because he was waiting for his friends, dwarven miners. He cares for the flowers as they are proof to his friends that he’s still there. The dwarves probably disappeared from Embay Forest when the demons arrived. - ML promises to look into what happened to the giant’s dwarf friends. In exchange the giant agrees to supply shining flowers to ML when he needs them. The mine becomes a part of Elysia. ML learns all he can about the shining flowers from the giant, then leaves Embay Forest with Samantha and the remaining elves. - While ML was away, Taylor kidnapped Wansik from Elysia and imprisoned him in the Grizzly Bear castle. They keep putting Wansik back in prison on false charges. - ML and the elves capture Taylor who was disguised as a cactus in the desert near Elysia. Later ML agrees to free Taylor if he spies on the Grizzly Bear Guild for ML from now on. ML has their deal recorded by Huka. - ML now has contracts with the Spirit of Life (integrated with ML’s mind) and the spirit of demonic plants (taken physical form). - In exchange for not sending it away, the spirit of demonic plants draws a magic circle in Luxy Forest and summons the Spirit of Life to materialise from ML’s consciousness. - The Spirit of Life is a celebrity amongst the elves. - ML is currently the most influential figure in New World. - Several pro gaming teams try to contact ML to recruit him by making fake orders for flowers or joining as labourers for Elysia. - Dupyo Kim, recruitment manager for MK Gamers. - ML signs a contract with MK Gamers (the top team in South Korea) as a mascot and the promotional face of their team. This won’t interfere with his main priority of running his flower shop. - With the signing fee and salary, ML can now pay off his student loans. His parents have allowed him to keep gaming too. - Ziant reveals a city plan using Milky Way vine seedlings to create a landscape with natural boundary fences to separate the districts. Huka broadcasts a live stream of ML using his rapid growth and graft skills to quickly develop the climbing vine structures. He is helped by May, the Spirit of Life, and the Mother Tree’s blessing. - On the 3rd night after the vine boundaries were created, the white flowers of the Milky Way vines bloom, sparkle and glow. The Milky Way spirits swarm around to create a magical atmosphere. The vines will be encouraged to grow as freely as possible with minimal pruning. ML trusts the spirits to maintain order. The Milky Way vines provide a city-wide buff to all residents of Elysia. - FLA is an official guild now with Breeze as the guild master. - With the city construction quests complete, the players and FLA members who worked as labourers are free to leave Luxy Forest. After the elves acknowledge their efforts and skills, 232 players decide to stay in Elysia. Ziant has more he wants to accomplish in Elysia and also plans to stay longer. - The power and energy of the spirits has grown strong in Elysia. Many visitors come to see the Milky Way vines and their spirits. - ML releases the seal on the Essence of Bloria by planting it near the Mother Tree. Elysia now has a direct connection to the spirit world through Bloria. Natural products of legendary class that can be made in Bloria and Elysia include grow powder, spirit jelly and spirit fabric. - ML goes to rescue Wansik from the Grizzly Bear Guild with an elf called Tina who is obsessed with dragons. The guard at the gate was bribed by Taylor to let in ML and Tina. They meet with Taylor and enter an undergound waterway to find a hidden dungeon under the castle. They fight undead monsters and collect fragments of the dungeon map. - Taylor distracts the prison guard by getting him drunk. - ML summons his mirage soldiers and they dig their way up into the prison with the help of energy potions. They release Wansik along with 3rd Prince Picio of the Ideran royal family and other Ideran loyalists. - Sir Zulkan the historian was the one who hid the fragments of the dungeon map. He says the guardian deity of Ideran is a dragon called Ogikh that’s sleeping deep underneath the castle. - Prince Picio takes ML, Wansik and Tina to the royal treasury vault for their reward. The vault can only be opened by those with royal blood. Before they can escape with some of the treasure, the Grizzly Bear Guild discover them and attack. - ML checks his stats. Now at L132 with over 300 mana, he can finally use the hourglass to summon a L980 berserker golden golem. All of the gold in the treasury is used to create the golem that will last for 30mins. They escape out of the castle and into the nearby Shwar forest. - Glozarx, Goblin Bank, Shwar branch manager NPC. - Half of the gold remains when the golem disappears. - ML finds out there’s a goblin bank in Shwar Forest. - ML and Prince Picio sign a joint contract with the goblin bank to store the rest of the gold. The bank security was built using the latest mechanical engineering technology. - Crowking went to the treasury to find it empty. The commotion from the golem earlier woke up Ogikh the dragon. The Ideran treasure was actually the accumulated offerings made to Ogikh over time. Ogikh orders Crowking to either replace the treasure himself or find the thief. - ML visits the MK Gamers HQ. He has a team profile photo shoot and an interview for the official press release. - Lee Sumin, the leader and star player of the MK Gamers team. He’s also one of the top ranked players in New World. - His game ID is Shake. His level is in the mid-300s. - Prince Picio, the Ideran loyalists and players who ran away from the Grizzly Bear kingdom will be settling in Elysia. - Breeze has been running classes on “How to Survive in Elysia.” ML gets the NPCs and players to attend. - Other pro gaming team managers accuse ML of giving MK Gamers a monopoly over recruiting FLA members to be pro gamers. To join the FLA, new members must agree to the ban on all outside activities to the FLA. - ML learns from Breeze that the FLA exists as a guild to only serve ML and Elysia. The FLA credit ML with saving them from stagnating in Luxy Forest. They wanted to repay ML by playing for him rather than in pro gaming teams. - Quest: Vulka the dwarf arrives in Elysia. He has run away from his debtors. A tenacious loan shark company called Axeface is tracking Vulka. - ML agrees to hide Vulka if he proves his blacksmith skills by forging items for ML. Vulka is taken to Embay Forest. ML introduces Vulka to the beings who will be keeping an eye on him: the demons and Mountain Hermit. Vulka identifies precious metal ores in the mine. ML sets up a workshop for Vulka from the forge left by the previous dwarven miners. - ML experiments with different materials for making golems. Iron-gold alloy ingots and soil saturated with demonic energy creates a bloody golden golem that becomes sentient. - Goldtooth, Axeface tracking team leader. - Goldtooth arrives in the Embay Forest to look for Vulka. - She attacks the demons then fights ML who uses his rapid growth skill on demonic plants. ML also attacks her with his Elbo powered by the spirit of demonic plants. She’s eventually defeated by his bloody golden golem. - Vulka becomes Elysia’s official blacksmith after ML completes the quest to save Vulka. - Red the mage commissions ML for another flower order. ML creates a floral crown with the desired buff effects. - As a bonus gift for Red’s customer loyalty, ML gives a spirit bracelet with a recovery buff to Red. ML’s floral accessories are promoted by Red on his personal broadcast. - Samantha introduces Jukjang to ML. - ML mentions the establishment of a human residential area in Elysia. Jukjang is interested in moving the Prime Guild HQ to Elysia. Tinlite made the elixir of immortality for the Rassel royal family. - Rynior offers to move the Red Tower of Magic to Elysia. - ML meets with Taylor in Shwar Forest and assigns him a mission to look for the elixir of mortality in the Rassel royal palace. - Surprise quest: save the orc tribe in Shwar Forest. - The Grizzly Bear Guild heard ML was last seen with Ogikh the dragon’s treasure in Shwar Forest. They’re attacking the orcs while looking for the treasure. He still refuses to become a pro gamer. - The Croissant Exchange in Elysia is officially opened by ML. Goods made in Elysia can be sold through this trading system. - Wooster has become a shield obsessed man under a demon’s curse. ML promises Croissant that he’ll return the Twilight Barrier shield to Wooster. - ML meets with King Rasselius VII after Zulkan sent a letter of protest when some agents from the Rassel kingdom tried to set fire to Elysia. He agrees to help the King against the Grand Duke after the King agrees to give the eternal flower to Elysia. - ML sets a top secret quest open to all players to go to war against Grand Duke Arief. - ML has Red Balloon help to control the rumours and stop anyone going to the Grand Duke’s side before the appointed time. - On that day all interested players are gathered to hear more details about the quest. The King introduces ML as the secret creator of the quest and the players’ morale is boosted. - ML’s army charge against Grand Duke Arief’s estate. - Red the mage helps them breach the walls after causing a huge explosion from his custom made Elysian flower dress. - ML, Tina and Samantha are looking for the eternal flower and enter the estate from the back. - Taylor is sent by ML as a double spy. Taylor goes to Arief’s side, claiming he wants revenge on ML. - Taylor wears a flower dress given by ML that increases his stats as he attempts to kill Arief. The Grand Duke reveals his true form as Pyra the Great Devil. The NPC knights offer to join forces with ML and his army to defeat Pyra. - ML and his army are given a Continental Quest to defeat Pyra and become a Hero of the Continent. - ML summons a giant Golden Golem made of magic ingots forged by Vulka. Pyra cuts off the golem’s arms then changes itself into a curse that stops everyone from moving. - ML is immune to the curse as he’s protected by spirits. - Somehow he summons the Milky Way of Elysia and bright flowers appear to help everyone resist the curse. - Pyra tries to summon his main body from the demon realm. - The golem causes a massive explosion from the magic spell engraved on the ingots by Vulka. Pyra is defeated. - Half of the NPC knights and the players survive. ML is given credit for contributing the most and is awarded the titles “Great Devil Hunter” and “Hero of the Continent.” - Other rewards include: the Devil’s incomplete essence, the Blood of the Great Devil, and Pyra’s Hell Flame Lance. - ML has completed the quest to free the Rassel kingdom. Princess Matilda is free and ML has formed an alliance with the Rassel kingdom. As requested by ML, Matilda awards Taylor the title of Count and the territory of the former Grand Duke. - Amidst the devastation, ML and Samantha find the basement of the Grand Duke’s mansion. There the eternal flowers of immortality are suffering from the effects of the explosion. - ML takes all of the eternal flowers back to Elysia. - With help from the spirit of demonic plants, ML experiments with the Devil’s essence and the Hell Flame Lance. - ML uses the Lance on Wooster while he’s overpowered from the effects of his madness curse. The Lance blasts a hole in the ground, revealing the hidden ruins of the Kopei kingdom. - Wooster’s curse is lifted and ML finally returns the Twilight Barrier shield to Wooster. - As the new King of Kopei, ML is able to remove the seal of the golden palace of Kopei (Brezal’s manor). The magic hiding the palace is removed and the palace resurfaces. - ML enters the throne room and finds the secret passage to Brezal’s vault. An eternal curse renders all of the gold and treasure in Kopei as useless. The Golden Ruins in Elysia become a famous attraction. - Bear Gorillz, an explorer. - He offers to collect flowers as he explores New World and bring them back to ML. In exchange, he asks ML to let him explore the ruins of Kopei. ML sets up a contract right away. - Vulka gives ML to wear the Chain Apron of Restraint with a high defence buff. The more the apron is worn, the stronger it gets. - ML agrees to take on a quest and help Vulka reunite with his family and relatives. Vulka feels lonely and misses them. - ML travels with Tina and Wansik to Vulka’s hometown. - They pass a couple holding a body. The spirits tell ML that the body is just someone pretending to be dead. ML uncovers Galking, a serial blackmailer and streamer. - Galking is wanted by NPCs so they hand him over to the guards in the next town. Count Radivu of the Tiste territory insists on hosting ML and his friends. They find out the Count is a huge fan of ML, with ML’s portrait adorning every wall in his manor. - Count Radivu says his family are descendants of Brezal. He’s grateful for what ML has done. - Quest: rescue the Devil’s son of Count Radivu.

Queen died and 2nd prince Ferderic was made the Crown Prince. 1st son was said to be too cruel and responsible for Queen’s death. - General Chancellor is Ferderic’s uncle. Would hit him as a child. - Lady Bourbon is Ferderic’s personal knight / escort guard - Foreign Princess Garnet, Ferderic’s fiancé (originally ML fiancé) - Sir Mano is ML’s personal aide/ knight and escort guard - (FL) Angela’s BL fanfic is published by a merchant without her consent. It becomes a best seller and she is forcibly taken by Ferderic’s men to be killed but is rescued by ML and taken to the palace. With her life on the line she agrees to write a sequel to help improve ML image. After a goose chase by FL and arresting the merchant, Ferderic is aware that ML is hiding FL. - Paparazzi (Blen) caught by FL at night outside her terrace but gets away. ML and FL chase him into town. FL tells him she’s been a fan of his drawings for last 5yrs. Conf’d all drawings sketched were eyewitness accounts. He gave up his stash of drawings for a hefty amount. FL thinks these drawings can also help ML image. - Assassin let go by ML but later killed by Bourbon - FL agrees to learn from ML all that’s needed before the victory banquet celebration in 5 days. Hoya reminds ML not to get attached to FL as she’ll be killed if things go astray. - At the ball, FL enters w/ a bang from wrong door. Later Ferderic asks her to dance which she accepts. There’s a misunderstanding between Princess Garnet and ML (caused earlier by Hoya). FL bumps into Blen and they catchup. Sir Mano is poised to kill FL (under Hoya’s orders) but is stopped by ML. At the end ML agrees to dance w/ FL outside, watched from afar by Blen and some noblewomen. - FL gets closer to Ferderic when they come across eachother in town and spend time together. - FL is summoned w/ other scholars to decipher a note in code. FL speaks to people in palace to obtain clues. Princess Garnet runs into ML and tells him coded document is a short fanfic she wrote. - While lost again, FL hides in a closet and overhears Hoya offering to kill ML and take his place in a deal w/ the General. Later Hoya tells FL that she knows FL was eavesdropping and to just carry on as usual to ensure her safety. - As a child FL was helped by ML to hide from slave traders and they cared for a baby bird called Shuran together. He had paid for her ransom but she mistook the presence of slave traders as there to take her away again so she ran away and never came back. This was on the day he was stripped of the Crown Prince title and was getting kicked out of the palace. - Sparring match between Sir Mano and Bourbon. - Sequel to the fanfic is released and trashes the ML. Search for fake author leads to underground auction where original script of the sequel is put up for sale. Burglars break in and runaway w/ the script and the fake author. ML and FL give chase on horseback. Imperial knights involved and they kill the burglars. FL goes back w/ knights and confirms the merchant is the fake author they have arrested. ML gave separate chase to an assassin who turns out to be the General’s RH knight.

Ch 114 as of 20/04/23 - also on Tapas … art is getting worse. - FL is Evony Voniek 23yo, “the Witch of Kalcass” and a 1st degree death row convict. She’s granted a special pardon by the Kalcass King under the Babel Queen’s orders after their 7yr war ended with the defeat of Kalcass. - ML is 30yo Archduke Dante Vorde Schneider, 3rd in line to the throne. He volunteered to be FL’s patron. (NB: He has magic powers). - FL’s fiancé was Marquis Victor Sedell. FL’s self defence against his attempted rape of her led to his death. His brother Marcus is now the head of House Sedell. FL’s self defence against her father, Count Voniek, led to his death after he tried to kill her for tarnishing their family honour. - ML’s warm household has several interesting characters of various unique talents and most of them are foreigners: Benjamin Lux the Butler, Marsha the Housekeeper, Sanko the Head Chef and ex-mercenary, the Doctor (female), Juro Vidal the senior secretary and genius lawyer, Jackson the knight (and other businesses). - ML was overseas for a long time. He wants to purge the corrupt power structures of Kalcass, including the courts and laws that wrongfully convicted FL. He will use FL as his chess piece or joker to do so. - ML asks FL about her aspirations and values. She wants to become a better person and take that personal growth as far as possible. She can be of value to ML and will do anything for him (except give her life). She’s very intelligent and a fast learner. In this harsh world she must have that drive for survival and know-how to protect herself. - FL can read the official continental language that is only taught to boys in Kalcass. She is self taught and was further taught by a fellow prisoner who was her mentor. - During the 5yrs she was in prison, FL continually suffered from the cruel mental and physical abuse by the prison guards. Her whole body is covered in scars, her back and pelvis are crooked, she’s severely malnourished, and she has nerve and muscle damage. - FL is part of a strong underworld sisterhood of women prisoners. They promised eachother: “We will never pity each other as long as we shall live.” Later with ML’s help, FL gains access to Speth Prison to collect the remains of their teacher and mentor Barbara Stalla, and to perform a proper burial for her. - Meister manor and military academy: Marcus and some other noblemen challenge ML to participate in this “game”. FL is the masked and mysterious “Raven” who turns the tables on these noblemen. FL provokes then helps the young, recently widowed, Lady Gillian Meister 35yo to safely inherit the manor property in exchange for the academy. - Gillian applies for the formal course on manor management at the Ministry of Finance (ML sponsors her). - ML surprises FL by making her the chairman of the academy which will be open to both men and women. - FL invites Viscountess Judith Pierre from Nova to be the headmistress. - An early reward from ML to FL is a beautiful combat horse from Marma who she calls “Raven”. In the past she wasn’t allowed to touch or ride a horse because she was a woman. - ML’s eyes glow with power to ensure FL wins the dice game at Marcus Sedell’s debauched men’s only social club. - Gillian is sent away from her abusive family for her own safety. Marcus had planned for her husband’s disabled, former student to kidnap, imprison and rape her. To further thwart Marcus, FL visits Patricia who is the Chancellor’s secret lover to pass on intel about the Meister property. - Marcus wants to tarnish ML’s reputation and sends a prison inspector to ML’s estate to interview, monitor and intimidate FL. - In response, FL will have a retrial to prove her innocence so her criminal record can’t be used against her or ML again. Everyone in ML’s household is helping with the preparations. - Witnesses that were vassals and farmers of House Sedell testify about Victor’s character. The captain of their guards testifies on behalf of the servants that day who saw and heard what happened. The prestigious international law institute exonerates FL. - The jury unanimously votes FL is not guilty for murder of her fiancé Victor Sedell. A separate trial will be held for the murder of her father but ML already raised doubt about Marcus who most likely framed FL. Her family manor will be returned to her as compensation. - Marcus attacks ML’s carriage, thinking it has the witness for the next trial. ML accuses Marcus of trying to kill a royal. Marcus will confess to the murder of FL’s dad for a reduced sentence. Marcus is made to recount publicly all of his sins to spare his family before he is executed. - FL reveals her true identity to Gillian when they dropoff the registration papers for the co-ed academy while all eyes are on Marcus’ execution. Gillian is inspired by FL as a role model. - There’s a celebratory banquet for ML’s comeback and FL’s debut. Gillian reassures FL to be confident amongst the corrupt nobles and their gossip. They are the only women in the country to own a manor which is the same as being the family head, and FL also owns the prestigious academy. - The surprise attendance of 1st Prince Charles and 2nd Prince Reginald indicates they see ML as an opponent. - The King’s death is suddenly announced at the banquet but as no successor was named, the country will face great turmoil ahead as the princes struggle for power. - 5mths later during winter, FL is working hard to have the academy ready for spring. She is trying to recruit the highly skilled Larson from the desert tribes as an eminent teacher. - Initially Viscountess Pierre declines to be the headmistress and raises several concerns with FL. After seeking help from ML, FL revises her plan and proposes a separate orphanage to the academy as a philanthropic institution for commoners including the poor to attend. Gillian will be the orphanage director with her nanny as support. Viscountess Pierre finally agrees to be the headmistress. (The orphanage building was the previous gentlemen’s club owned by Marcus and donated by ML.) - ML suspects the King’s death was actually murder. - The contest between the princes is at a stalemate, with ML keeping the balance. - The merchants loudly and aggressively complain to FL about the orphanage. For extra security, FL convinces Larson to work at the orphanage as a teacher and also a role model. - To create more positive publicity for the orphanage, ads for patrons are placed in the paper and a shiny metal plaque listing the patrons will be displayed outside the building. Businesses that support the orphanage will be given their own ‘Kind Business’ plaque to display. - The orphanage is set on fire by a luxury goods merchant who blamed it for his poor business. The children are saved with help from the other merchants. FL arrives at the scene on a horse which makes public her horse riding abilities. - FL meets with Patricia who advises her to approach the noblewomen through the academy to support the orphanage. - Gillian and Viscountess Pierre support this idea. - Gillian 35yo has feelings for Sanko. FL encourages her to confess. While it isn’t socially acceptable for women to remarry in Kalcass, it isn’t illegal. FL admits she likes someone too. - Through Viscountess Pierre’s connections, FL joins a gathering of noblewomen for a lakeside picnic. She arrives on horseback. - ML supports FL having more social interactions. - The new Meister academy opens as a general academic school. - Larson finally agrees to be the swordsmanship teacher. - ML is being pressured by the princes to choose a side. - FL stops ML from kissing her. She says what he feels for her is a mirage. She isn’t worthy to stand beside him yet. - Sir Dubner, a Kalcass general. - Sir Harace 28yo, the best knight in Kalcass. - Dubner and Harace make a surprise visit to the academy. They demand the academy trainees be handed over to them. Her grandfather is the Supreme Court Justice and close aide to the 1st Prince. - To forget about their crushes and look for other men, FL and Gillian attend a masquerade party. It turns out to be a depraved affair full of nobles behaving badly. ML is at the party to observe Daphne because the 1st Prince wants ML to marry her. - Daphne is arrogant, loud, crude and immoral. She makes a scene at the party and removes her mask to reveal her identity. - She announces her pending marriage to ML without knowing he’s there at the party. ML recognises FL but she leaves with Gillian before he can approach her. Later Daphne realises ML was there. She visits the Meister academy to see FL as she’s aware of the rumours that ML has fallen for FL. - FL can see Daphne doesn’t hate FL. She hates herself. - FL wants to help Daphne who FL sees as lost and very lonely. - FL asks Daphne to enrol at the academy as a student. - Later FL tells ML that she wants to be friends with Daphne. - 2nd Prince Reginald and Daphne are irreconcilable political enemies because of her grandfather. Daphne mentions Reginald to FL. Daphne and Reginald might have met in the past at a masquerade party while not knowing their true identities. - To investigate the connection between Daphne and Reginald further, ML allows FL to attend a masquerade party as Raven at a casino with Gillian and Sanko. Daphne is obsessed with masquerade parties and is already there. FL wins a drinking competition against Daphne. - Gillian confesses her feelings to Sanko out of frustration. - FL convinces Daphne to be social friends for now. They meet at masquerade parties and have fun together. Daphne realises Raven is FL and confronts FL who confirms it. Daphne decides to stop drinking and partying. She wants to attend the Meister academy. She refuses to be sold off to marry ML. - Daphne’s grandpa is sick of her debauchery and confines her to her room. She sneaks out and runs away to see FL. Daphne plans to abandon her family and the Monteira name. She asks for FL’s help. Patricia takes in Daphne as a favour to FL. - Other young noble ladies want to attend the academy. - FL and ML happen to see Gillian and Sanko together. - A border skirmish between Nova and Kalcass soldiers brings panic to the people of Kalcass who fear another war. - 1st Prince Charles sees this as an opportunity to rush his coronation for the stability of Kalcass with no King. 2nd Prince Reginald supports war in order to undermine Charles. - ML promises to resolve the matter for Charles. - He leaves for Nova. FL has his authority to act as his proxy. - Daphne is disowned and ostracised by her family. - Jackson helps FL find a safe house for her, Daphne, Patricia and Gillian. It’s an actors dormitory. - Patricia proposes an idea to FL on pushing through reforms for Speth Prison. FL has been petitioning the judiciary to improve conditions at the prison. FL visits Justice Monteira who refuses to consider any prison reforms. FL implies a threat that she’ll seek help from Reginald instead. She is summoned by Charles and she pampers his vanity by describing the prison reforms as a sign of his generosity to even the lowest of his citizens. - Meanwhile ML has reunited with his comrades he had to leave behind in Nova. They confirm the young Nova king purposefully placed bandits at the border in the hope that war would break out. - Assassins target FL at ML’s estate. They’re sent by Reginald. - Jackson, Sanko and more of ML’s comrades kill the assassins. - Daphne petitions the royal family for a new surname. - FL is seen visiting noble clubs, especially the one owned by Reginald. Fearing Reginald’s influence will grow if he champions the prison reforms, Charles appoints FL as the Speth prison inspector. - Eisen Balza, the King of Nova - Eisen needs ML’s financial support - Eisen had a fiancée 7yrs ago… - It’s actually Reginald who is secretly trying to incite a war with Nova… - FL makes her first visit as an inspector to Speth prison. - She visits Barbara’s grave on the way home. ML surprises FL there. They embrace and are now officially in a relationship. (Kiss? Cutoff?) - FL meets Sir Dubner in private. She lets him know before anyone else that ML has returned early from Nova. - Dubner agrees to issue a distraint order for Speth prison after FL advises him that a foreign assassin and a female spy from the savage tribes are among the inmates. In exchange FL will introduce Dubner to ML. - FL makes a surprise visit to the prison with the military led by Dubner. Soldiers will remain stationed at the prison as an emergency force.

Thinking she’ll be killed when the wedding is over, she tries to provoke ML to wipe out her home country by making ridiculous and crazy demands for her arrival and the wedding. - With many enemies since becoming Emperor at 16yo, ML tells her to be a villainess to survive. The 1st attempt on her life is on their wedding night (yes they still sleep together later). The assassins were sent by the Holy Land Secret Society under the Saintess’ orders. - ML has the magic Black Steel Blade (he drank Eugendiph’s Blood), so is only vulnerable to Celcita’s Silver. - Kane is the Commander of ML’s knights and a close aide to ML - The Emerald of Aled cracked after it was thrown by ML to reveal it was home to a very talkative elder elf spirit called Aled. The FL agrees to find a new gem for it’s home. - The author was reborn as the Saintess, and is trying to kill the new Empress so she can take her place. She offers her services as an assistant to Lady Irene, a childhood friend of ML. She loses her divine powers after she uses them against the dragon. - FL’s lady-in-waiting Tania Kaniche has incredible strength (inherited from her mother). She secretly sources romance novels for FL. She gave her family emerald to FL for Aled's new home. - ML invaded the Tetin Kingdom for their national treasure “the Forest of Tetin” to be Aled's new home ... but oh well. He also invaded because they had allied w/ the Dukedom of Etia and had supplied weapons that were lined w/ Celcita’s Silver. - The Dukedom of Etia envoy presented to ML the “Egg of Redemption” relic recovered from ancient ruins. Richard, Lord of the Magic Tower is uncovered by ML as a secret member of the envoy. Richard had intended for the relic to touch ML as he was the strongest presence. It’s magic reacted strongly to FL instead to reveal a gigantic newborn black dragon called Gargantia / Girgantia. - The mage saves Lady Irene from the dragon. Kane and the author saved each other. Main characters together defeat the Black Dragon (it shrinks lol), w/ the FL casting an ancient binding spell (Dragon Lord’s Incantation) from a mysterious book and the author using all of her divine power. - Princess Yuliana is “the Rose of Aswan” and visits the palace to see the dragon as an excuse. Aswan are allies w/ Dukedom of Etia. She uses enchantment (sorcery) so all are “spellbound by her beauty” except for ML and FL who are unaffected. - FL breaks the spell of this honey trap w/ her dramatic entrance and extravagance. She toys w/ Yuliana while the dragon is by her side. FL continues to keep Yuliana in check throughout her stay, much to her frustration. - FL is impressed by the poise and noble etiquette of Lady Irene (who thinks she’s a rival for ML in her own mind), after the elegant way she puts down Yuliana at a public event. FL sees Irene as a potential friend and 2nd lady-in-waiting. - Yuliana (as an alleged successor to the Grand Sorceress) seeks help from the 3 x guardian sorceresses for info on FL. When told who, they say she will never beat her. - Mage Richard is imprisoned by ML since the envoy visit and the appearance of the dragon. Richard tries to provoke ML by querying the true origins of FL and suspecting her of hiding something. - ML investigations find no record of any maids or anyone else assigned to the secluded villa of FL in her birth country. Despite this, FL herself said she was brought up by maids there. FL was told her mother died after her birth. - ML was made to drink Eugendiph’s Blood as a child and the last subject of experiments ordered by his own father, the previous Emperor. ML escaped from the lab in the Dukedom of Etia after 8yrs and killed his father. - The murderous voices from the Blood stopped from the day he met FL for their wedding, and they stop whenever he’s with her. - Aled is in the spirit world for ML to find any info on the Blood and if one can return to normal after drinking it. He is told by Ayura the elf spirit that the Grand Sorceress asked about this 24yrs ago via the scrying bowl. - As ML and Kane depart to conquer the Dukedom of Etia, FL is assigned Richard (under magic contract) as her protector. - Irene and the author have started at the palace under FL. Both have ridiculous plans to kill FL and take on her role for themselves. - Yuliana invites FL to the opening of a new casino hotel in another attempt to humiliate her in public. - Blood drop of the blue phoenix: blue gem that ML gave to FL. Whomever holds that blood drop will be protected by the blue phoenix forever. - FL arrives on a Pegasus and holds the sceptre to show she represents the Emperor while he’s away. - FL bets a game of dice with Yuliana, and wins after somehow dispelling her sorcery and making her power disappear. FL bet the blue gem and sceptre. Yuliana bet and lost her status. - FL was upset Irene was hurt at the casino and asks to be friends rather than just have her as a lady-in-waiting. - ML is almost finished conquering Etia. One last castle of Archduke Parus remains. ML enters alone and the Archduke who started the Eugendiph’s Blood experiments traps him with a magic circle. As if from a dream, FL wakes up with ML back at the imperial palace. - Kane and the author are on track to getting together. - ML and FL go on their first holiday together in Stoa. - Crown Prince Ryuin of the Dark Empire on the eastern continent is planning to kidnap FL. He sees her as his wife. - Yuliana arrives in Stoa to get her revenge on FL. A strange book suddenly appears near Yuliana and gives her instructions on how to kill FL. - ML kills the white serpent monster near the golden apple trees. These apples can now be harvested and used to make the famous Stoa apple pies. FL really wanted to try one. - The author has gone to Stoa for a break too and is found by priests of the temple. She tricks them to go gather her followers then flees. - Kane finds the author at the festival. - Yuliana has prepared a spell to cause FL’s death by fireworks at the festival … - Tania and the dragon arrived in Stoa after being summoned by ML. They help with the local tourism by posing as an attraction. - The dragon transforms into a human and helps stop thieves from robbing Tania. - Yuliana has died to fulfil the unwritten condition of using a forbidden spell. She made a mistake and the spell targeted ML instead of FL. ML traced the mana back. - Kalia (who’d approached Yuliana much earlier when she was at the palace) was there but then left after ML came. Kalia is the previous Cecile but the previous Estian died, so she’s come to the current and last version of the world. - Ryuin kidnaps FL and takes her away. He tells her that she’s the “Ender”, someone who has the power to change the end of the story and the end of this world. - ML transforms due to Eugendiph’s Blood going berserk and a black mass explodes. The priests have gathered and the author absorbs their holy power. She uses all of that power on ML, then faints but is caught by Kane. - ML is back to normal and has caught up to FL with Ryuin, who describes ML as the calamity that will kill FL and end the world. ML and Ryuin fight. Richard arrives but says he can’t stop them. FL awakens the mana within and calls forth the rain. ML catches her as she collapses. Her body fades then disappears completely. - The guardian sorceresses were disguised as maids that looked after FL as she grew up in the palace. The Grand Sorceress wanted FL to live a normal life, so she cast a seal and other restrictions on FL. - Because FL has broken the seal and those restrictions by force, her body has gone to the world tree to recover. - ML makes Richard open a portal to the world tree. - Aled has taken Ayura with him to find FL at the world tree. - Aled sees ML there who promises Aled all of the Empire’s treasures if he takes ML to FL. - The world tree spoke to FL after she bit into its fruit. The tree shows FL some memories from past versions of herself that have visited the tree before. The tree tries to kill FL but is stopped by ML. Aled opens a portal and Ayura guides ML and FL through it back to the palace. - FL suddenly asks ML that she wants to visit the Navitan kingdom. Ryuin and Richard are put in a dungeon when they arrive. - FL had a drinking party with Irene, Tania and the author. They share their worries while overheard by their men (except Irene). FL doesn’t want her life to be predestined or fate. She wants to walk her own path and choose for herself. - FL digs up the grave of her mother and finds nothing in the coffin. She’s upset she has no memories of her mother and questions who she really is. ML comforts her … in bed. - The dragon kissed Tania while she was drunk. She’s in denial. - The author realises she never finished writing the story. - Richard escaped from the dungeon and helped Irene when she was drunk. She cut her hand on some broken glass and her blood tasted like it had Eugendiph’s Blood. - An ominous red star has appeared in the sky … - Tania receives a letter from home and asks FL to quit being her lady-in-waiting. Tania wants to go home to help subjugate the monsters that have appeared. - Aled comes back from the world tree and provides a summary about the countless worlds, ML destroying these worlds, FL being the daughter of the Grand Sorceress, etc. The destruction of this world is beginning and the signs will be visible soon. The world tree also mentioned an outsider. Kane is tasked to find them. - Kalia has revived the Dragon Lord and obtained a sword with Celcita’s silver to kill ML. She’s also behind the declaration of war by the Alliance of Kingdoms that was sent to ML to lure him out.
