Their parents died … - ML is diagnosed with a terminal illness. His body is addicted to poison. On the way home from the hospital, a double gate appears. ML is swallowed by a monster. ML awakens as a poison hunter with a S-rank healing skill and he survives. - Kiril, a poison hunter. She has a Poison Rain skill. - Poison hunters usually die when they awaken. Their healing powers are extraordinary. Dr Jin gives a new device in cube form called Exa to ML. It can change into anything once activated and injected with ether. - Ppori is a small poison monster that’s harmless to humans. It has the stealth skill and feeds off poison. - Goo Guni, corrupt Glory guild chairman and S-rank hunter. - Maria, the Glory guild’s S-rank healer - ML enters a poison dungeon to earn money for the hunter licence and exam fees. He absorbs poison to increase his ether. He endures against a difficult monster and levels up then finally kills it. He retrieves a bronze sun flower that has incredible healing properties. He paralysed the boss monster because the flower dies if the boss monster dies. - Bi Soo, child of the black market. She has the stealth skill. - Ya Cha, leader of the black market. - ML goes to the black market to sell the flower. - ML registers as a healer with the Hunters Association (HA). - ML stops a HA employee from attacking a citizen protesting outside. Maria stops Guni from attacking ML. - Yoo Inwon, HA vice president. - Yoo Jiwon, a new healer. An arrogant narcissist. Possible human test subject for the Glory guild. - Bi Soo takes ML to another poison dungeon. ML paralyses the boss monster and collects the silver sun flower. Nobles steal appearances then kill the original owners. - Tam Byron, Viantina leader - Viantina is a company that creates Quinins. - Tam collects information on all of the nobles as insurance. - Ram is the Shaak that contains this info. - Enok the devil’s hacker, ML’s comrade - With Enok’s help, FL and ML infiltrate the Viantina HQ to steal the Ram. FL enters the underground arena while ML checks Tam’s office. FL’s Shaakna is somehow activated and a mark appears on her chest after she defeats her opponent. - Kanja and Mill from Vitan, the Hetra Vigilante Corps. - They save ML and FL, then hide in a secret passage between the walls of the Viantina building. They agree to work together to free the prisoners and blow up the Viantina HQ. ML found the Ram and made a copy before it was detonated by Tam. - FL finds a secret room with people that look like her mother. They’re brainwashed to self destruct if discovered and they kill themselves. FL realises her mother Marin must have originally come from Hetra. Horson is collecting things related to Marin. - Someone called Floyd kidnaps FL, ML, Enok, Kanja and Mill. - He sponsors the Vigilantes and devised the plan to blow up the Viantina HQ. He’s taken them to Enitot, a wasteland after a revolt against Horson 3yrs ago.

Ch 19 as of 06/01/23 - ML is Kang San, special forces captain - FL is Kim Biyeon, intelligence officer - During a training exercise, ML and FL are summoned to another world as test subjects. They’re given missions and are promised rewards to complete them. They find a cave with a map of the area on the wall drawn in blood by previous test subjects. - 1st mission: Blood Hunt (72hrs) - Kill 4 Argon monsters and 20 Alpine monsters. - ML has a strong will to live after his best friend become badly injured in the battlefield and told ML to live on. This helps ML to awaken with superhuman abilities. - Noll is an administrator for several test subjects. He oversees the area that ML and FL are in. - Nill is (?) - A herald helps to remove an outside element from the mission, ie another test subject who attacks ML and FL. - They find a journal that FL tries to translate. - FL awakens while saving ML from monsters. - He returns the favour shortly after, then collapses. - The poison from the monsters helps to level up their awakening. - The mission reward is nectar, salt and dried food. - Nectar is an elixir of the gods from Greek mythology. - FL confirms it’s a combat stimulant after drinking it. - It instantly heals all wounds. It’s also highly addictive. - Nectar synchronisation (?) - Over a month, ML and FL slowly complete missions that have progressively become more difficult. Their bodies continue to change, possibly due to the nectar which they only use for healing. They keep exploring the area but are unable to access the centre.

Ch 22 as of 06/01/23 - good start but ML’s weakness remains the same … - ML is Lee Ja-In - He has been reborn countless times. Each time he’s a different being. He is reborn as a human for the first time. - He has the abilities of all the beings from his past lives. - He knows this will be his last life and he can finally die. - His mother is Oh Youngshil. - Her father died in one war and her husband died in another. - She’s ignorant and uneducated. She supports herself and ML by selling fruit and vegetables by the roadside. - ML is hostile to humans after experiencing their cruelty many times in the past. He eventually learns to care about his mother who only loves him and protects him. - ML 6yo tests his powers one night on some police pursuing a suspected Communist. A policeman injured by ML becomes obsessed with finding ML again and killing him. - ML 12yo is confronted by the policeman who is now the police chief and his men. Youngshil tries to stop them from taking ML and they hit her. ML loses his sanity and kills the men. The police chief fires his gun but Youngshil protects ML and gets shot. Before she dies, she tells ML to do all he can to live. ML unleashes his wrath and kills the police chief. - While wandering, ML trains himself on how to use his abilities. - ML is in his mid-20s and causes an accident with a car on an empty road. He has surgery for a head injury. He’s currently suffering from amnesia. Ah Leesoo 34yo is the woman who drove the car. She decides to become his guardian for now. - Leesoo works at the Environmental Industry Facility. - They conduct research experiments. - A marine organism named “steer” is the latest test subject. It is hostile to humans and wants human extinction like ML. - ML likes Leesoo because she reminds him of his mother. - Leesoo discovers ML’s abilities one night when they’re drunk. - He promises to protect her and the world she’s trying to save.
