After ML offers to share his large quantity of food with the villagers, the mayor allows him to stay. - ML sees human sacrifices are being offered to an “earth god” to keep the village safe. The god is actually a monster serpent that made its nest underneath the village. The presence of the serpent keeps the other weaker monsters away. - ML pretends to be drugged and is given as the next sacrifice to the serpent. Later the mayor visits the nest to find ML has killed the serpent. ML knows this monster won’t attack the one who feeds it which is why the mayor could approach it. - ML presents the serpent’s head to the villagers and explains what the mayor had done. He proposes the villagers take the serpent’s eggs and raise the baby serpents by feeding other monsters to them. These serpents won’t attack the villagers while keeping other monsters away. - The villagers agree to learn how to fight from ML after the child he saved is the first to volunteer. The villagers gradually regain their confidence under ML’s guidance. Suddenly a divine blue phoenix appears. The mayor released it after keeping it drugged and he’s the first one to die by it’s blue flames. - ML stops the phoenix from attacking the village and kills it. He uses the crystal pendant to recover when he’s consumed by the blue flames. ML successfully completes his mission and passes the trial, still ranked in 1st position. ML is called a saviour by the villagers. - Holy Flame skill: a growth-type skill. A holy flame that burns evil. - Awakening Certification Agency (ACA): - A government-run agency that officially ranks Awakeners. - An Awakener may enter and earn money from dungeons after receiving an official rank evaluation from the agency. - You receive an Awakened Registration ID card. - Scouts from guilds tend to observe the evaluations. - Jeong Dong Yeong, Ares guild master, A-rank and a former gangster. Ares guild is rumoured to be involved in moneylending, human trafficking and drug smuggling. - Choi Hak Jun receives his first evaluation after reaching the 15th floor. He’s given B rank. ML controlled his mana to manipulate the measuring device. He’s given C rank. - Awakened Management Institute (AMI): - All Awakened must be certified to participate in a dungeon raid. - Dungeon difficulty is based on the colours of the rainbow. Violet / purple is the most difficult. For yellow and above, you must pass a trial to clear the dungeon. - Lee Ju Ho, B rank and team leader - Kim Ba Reum, vice team leader - ML joins a party of 6 for his first dungeon raid. ML knows from his past life that someone in the party kills the other members in the dungeon. ML kills the giant cyclops monster while the rest of the party deal with the smaller monsters. - The party enter a large chamber and are given 2 options for the dungeon trial. They choose the option to confront and fight for 30mins the monsters that come through the entry door. - Someone opened the exit door which cancels out the option they chose and leaves them with the other option, which is to run away from summoned monsters for 30mins. - In a plan made with ML earlier, Lee Ju Ho closes the exit door as he and the other members run away. ML stays behind with the healer who is actually an assassin from the Dump guild. - ML figured out she was the murderer from clues earlier. She ends up dying from the summoned monsters. To buy time for the rest of the party, ML faces the monsters that are now stronger and in greater number than before. - The Dump guild, an evil organisation that later contributed to the fall of humanity and the end of days. Their members are promoted depending on the crimes they commit. - Lee Ju Ho turns back to help ML and sees ML destroy the monsters with the holy flame. The final boss monster appears, a lich. The dead monsters are resurrected by the lich. ML leaves Lee Ju Ho to handle the undead monsters while ML faces the lich. - ML and Lee Ju Ho combine their skills and attacks to defeat the lich, destroying the life stone that is it’s life source. - Lee Kyung Jong, general manager, aether stone auction house. - ML sold the aether stones from the dungeon. He included the life stone, which is an advanced aether stone. - ML returns home to find his mother has an injury on her face. She works at a restaurant and was injured by drunk customers who were fighting. ML reveals he’s an Awakener to his mother and convinces her to quit her job after showing her how much he’s earned. - Kim Dae Ho, master blacksmith and weapon craftsman. - ML regrets not being able to protect Dae Ho in his past life. - When ML was under enormous pressure as a famous hero, Dae Ho gave his greatest masterpiece, Balmung the Holy Sword to ML. Still keeping a low profile, he refuses all attempts by the guilds to recruit him. - On the 19th floor ML discovers an underground space after destroying a nest of mutant rats. ML faces a snake monster that can regenerate and has strong resistance to magic and physical attacks. He can now summon a phoenix with his holy flame skill and the phoenix destroys the snake. - ML opens a store for his mother (tbc). - Lee Ju Ho gives an expensive red sports car to ML. - ML picks up his new sword from Dae Ho. ML names it “Gram” the dragon slaying sword, (and the alternate name for Balmung the god slaying sword). - At the 20th floor, ML pays 100k points to the gatekeeper for info on the L10 difficulty. ML is told to try not to kill anyone (ie avoid any unnecessary battles) and to always be mindful of his objective. - The mission is to conquer the Grandalum kingdom’s castle, discover it's secret, and survive. The time limit is 1mth. - The Oldram kingdom have declared war on Grandalum. - Attache, a retainer of the Grandalum royal family and the Commander-in-Chief. He orders to defend the castle at all costs. - Commander Maxman, a war hero after his defeat of the Oldram kingdom invasion 20yrs ago. He seems unaware that his soldiers’ expectations of him can also be shackles that bind him. - After ML is refused entry into the castle, he destroys the gates with his new sword. He faces Maxman and strikes a huge blow in the ground. They suddenly disappear in the debris. - Shadow assimilation skill: the ability to move from shadow to shadow. Mainly used as a dark attribute skill by assassins. - ML and Maxman reappear from a shadow in the dungeon of the castle. ML convinces Maxman that he’s not an enemy. - They reach an underground prison abandoned 100yrs ago. - ML uncovers Attaché is actually a lich. He’s a much more powerful lich than the one ML defeated in his first dungeon. - While ML fights Attaché, 2 more liches appear. ML realises they are using the soldiers as sacrifices to summon the lich king. The liches admit that they killed the Grandalum king and disguised themselves as royal retainers. - ML and Maxman are surrounded by a dark space created by the liches. Maxman breaks the space apart as he is a Holy Knight. - ML summons the phoenix and fights the liches. He gets Maxman to protect the soldiers. ML defeats one lich by destroying it's life stone. ML copied the Holy Blade skill from Maxman and defeats a 2nd lich. Maxman uses his ultimate skill, Sanctuary Barrier to protect all the soldiers from the black magic cast by the 3rd lich. - ML destroys the life stone of the 3rd lich and the undead that it summoned all disappear. ML has passed the trial. - ML’s stats increase. He receives a new skill … - ML spends a month locked away in a room on the 21st floor after consuming the highest tier mana catalyst. He trained himself to take in the ambient mana around him. - Lee Ju Ho helps ML by sharing an anonymous post online a week before Xmas Eve. It warns about a terrorist attack by the Dump guild in Anyang on Xmas Eve. They’re interrupted first by the undead dragon, then by the spartoi. Somehow ML’s pendant gives him the ability to predict the movements of the spartoi. ML leads the team to safety in the area past the doors. - ML remains inside the nest and lets the doors close behind him. He uses an artifact to blast the spartoi away with fire. He makes his way to the head of the dragon and pulls out the lance. - ML unknowingly releases Mephistopheles the demon king who killed the dragon with the lance. Mephisto was sealed with the dragon for 1000yrs. Mephisto tries to possess ML’s body and soul as his new vessel. Instead the magic pendant devours Mephisto. - ML wakes up in hospital after he is rescued by Sean. - Sean has men from his family guard the dragon nest for ML. - Somehow ML has a dragon heart and can use dragon magic? ML’s heart is filled with both dragon and demon mana. - Mephisto appears to ML as an evil spirit, with just a fraction of his demonic energy and existence. - Tasha Nerester, the Firebird Witch. ML’s ancestor was friends with the yeti king. - The safehouse looks like an ordinary wooden hut on the outside. ML uses the pendant as a key and enters a luxurious and spacious library. ML is teleported to a field and meets his ancestor Otto Han Melvinger, the Winter Sage. ML is taken to a snowy landscape. His first assignment is to swallow the demon that was once the Ice Mountain King, the first and last king of the yetis. - ML must swallow demons and extort their seals which are the root of their existence. A seal or “true name” is the heart where the evil desire of a demon lies. Mephisto’s seal is the seal of original sin. When ML swallows a demon, he takes on their abilities. - ML fights the Ice Mountain King and dies many times. He finally defeats her (the king was a woman) when he truly understands and becomes her. He swallows her and obtains her seal of cruelty. - ML’s next assignment is to take an ice crystal egg to the god of camellias and “perfect the winter.” - The Blue Lion Vile family, 1 of 7 Lion families (?) - Isabelle Vile, an only child with no talent for the sword. - Herman Vile, Isabelle’s father who developed reflux disease. Possession relics have unlimited usage but can only be used by their owner. A tattoo that appears on the user’s body is a type of possession relic. - Relics have always held a deep hatred for humans by design, and their aim is to harm humans. Talents are needed to utilise the relics. - The 3 main talent or trait groups are: Sociability, Dominance and Compatibility. While sociability is the easiest, it exposes the user to the relic’s poisonous aura. Over time this leads to a painful and debilitating illness called relic syndrome. - Kwon Tae Joon. Only she as the owner can use this prophetic relic. - ML is referred to as “the person who will swallow the world.” - ML travels to Japan after sensing the future guide is being used on him. He threatens her with the zombie powder. - ML uses the silver axe to destroy most of the relics on her. - He picks up the Paris Montmartre painter’s ink (B rank). - CEO Kwon approaches ML next. - ML steals the Lonely God’s invitation (SS rank, god tier) - CEO Kwon has the Conqueror’s relic, a parasitic relic located somewhere on his body. It’s a powerful domination relic that controls the minds of others to make them completely obedient. - The crow relic warns CEO Kwon not to unleash his Conqueror’s relic. CEO Kwon ignores the crow and the disturbance caused from his relic awakens the Great Catastrophe. They end up in the centre of a giant tomb, with similar tombs appearing across the world. - Set, Anubis and Osiris: ancient Egyptian, god tier relics - Anubis’ trial: the Scale of Judgement - The undead emerge and attack ML. ML offers to restore Yoojaeha’s reputation and return his art style to him that was stolen by Richard, who became famous with that style. She’s Vivian Lucy and uses the medusa relic. ML learns from her that the US excavation team are also there. He takes all of the relics from her then lets her go. - ML and Yoojaeha infiltrate the Chinese fleet. - The Chinese relic sends sea monsters to attack the fleet. - ML learns from the Chinese relic about the crow. - The crow was a well respected divine relic. She can devour her enemies and take their powers as her own. She betrayed the relics and signed a contract with a human. She devoured many relics and either took their powers or made them slaves to the human. The crow was abandoned by the human who was fooled by the other relics. She was imprisoned and sealed away, while the human was killed. The tomb ML entered before he died was the crow’s prison. - Sword of the Flower Knight / Hwarang relic (A rank) - ML obtains this sword from the US team who are in pursuit. - With a smaller boat, ML locates the Chinese relic under a large tree. ML uses the sword to chop down the tree. - Zheng He’s treasure map of the west relic (A rank) - The map is used to identify locations related to Irene’s relic. - ML gives a fake map to Edward who gives it to Keira. - Edward is furious when the fake map disappears. The UK PM was meeting with Keira at the time and disappeared with the map. - ML has Edward contact Keira. ML offers to help find the UK PM by using the hidden powers of Keira’s map relics. Keira arranged to meet at a hotel. - ML writes tomb glyphs on the maps using Shakespeare’s pen. ML pretends this is a spell when he’s already located the PM earlier with Zheng He’s map. The PM is in the Sahara desert. What ML wrote with the pen makes the hotel staff throw a small bomb into the room. The US agents are compelled to rip up the map relics. - In the confusion, Yoojaeha used the painter’s ink to draw a fountain. As an escape relic, ML and Yoojaeha are teleported to the actual fountain outside. - ML, Yoojaeha and Irene fly to Turkey to find help with Irene’s relic. They go to a tomb that’s guarded by US special forces and Turkey soldiers. ML creates an alternative entry to the tomb by using a low level relic as a bomb with his tomb excavation skill. - ML leads the soldiers that followed them into a trap room. - The Hand of Midas relic: it was split in half to become the Golden Hand and the Failure Hand. Irene bathes in the lake to try to remove her relic, the Failure Hand. This woke up the Golden Hand which tries to kill Irene to reclaim its other half. - ML dives in and instructs Irene to assert her dominance over the Golden Hand. The tattoo on her body changes and the contract is complete. The Golden Hand will now balance the power of the Failure Hand. Irene now has control over her relic. - Sekhmet, Egyptian goddess of destruction relic: it allows the user to destroy a target anywhere. The risk / penalty is the user changes form. This is because Sekhmet is also known as Hathor, Egyptian goddess of love. Keira uses the Sekhmet relic to destroy the Turkish tomb and she changes into a baby. ML uses his tomb restoration skill and escapes with Irene and Yoojaeha. - Pandora: a global organisation with members who collect relics. They created new laws to monopolise relics and limit the usage of relics in society. - The inauguration ceremony of Pandora as the international tomb management body is held. All tombs and relics will now be managed by Pandora, for the protection and safety of humanity. No one else may enter tombs or own relics. This time she desired ML’s smell. - At the Hilton residence, Irene’s brother is there and he tries to kill Yoojaeha. He seems to be prejudiced against relics. - ML senses something is wrong and enters the mansion to find Irene’s parents are in the late stages of relic syndrome. Someone rapidly progressed the disease in a short period of time. - ML offers to help cure Irene’s parents. - Relic of Xufu: it controls children and is an exploitation relic that only cares about wealth. It’s also the key to awakening the elixir plant into a true healing relic. - ML finds Edward who is disguised as a homeless man as he’s hiding from Keira. In exchange for info on the relic of Xufu, ML offers to make Edward his business partner in a new company. Edward says he sold the relic to Keira. It’s located in Ghana. - In Ghana, ML finds a tomb that has an undergound tea plantation. This tomb was created by Shennong’s relic. Keira is using Xufu’s relic to control children and use them as free slave labour in the tea plantation. ML finds Xufu’s relic, a worm. It’s an extortion type relic and needs to be presented with riches. After the children are led outside, ML defeats Shennong’s relic and closes the tomb. - Back in NY, ML meets up with Oh Seung Woo and the other 2. ML puts Xufu’s relic in the soil of the elixir plant. He asserts his dominance to force the plant to bear fruit. They all go to the Hiltons to find Keira has kidnapped the parents. ML had Yoojaeha create clones of the parents earlier, so the real parents are safe. - ML squeezes the juice from the fruit of the elixir plant to heal Irene’s brother who was shot. - ML took video of the children working in Ghana. He sent the video to Edward who leaked it to the media with reports of illegal child slavery in the tomb conquered by Keira. - On the way to Irene’s parents, they’re attacked by Keira. - Van Gogh’s painting relic: Irene’s power stops the group from being sucked into the painting. She remains to fight Keira while the rest go to ML’s new NY penthouse. - ML gives the juice to the parents and they quickly recover. ML goes back to Irene. He finds Keira who has turned into a white grub. The painting relic was damaged and also left behind. - ML borrows a separate residence from the Hiltons. He puts Keira the grub into a bottle of alcohol to weaken her control power over the Sekhmet relic. Her subordinates arrive and ML throws the bottle at them. Chinese hackers obtained info on the 7 Great Tombs from Pandora. - The 7 Great Tombs each have a relic that’s associated with 1 of the 7 deadly sins: pride, envy, greed, lust, wrath, gluttony, and sloth. - The Great Tomb in Kyoto appears as ancient Roman ruins. ML approaches the entrance and is met by Yoon Si Woo and Yang Chen. - In ML’s past life, Yang Chen betrayed ML’s team. He sent them to the tomb to die. He gave them an escape relic that was actually a self trapping relic. - Outside of the entrance, other teams are lying on the ground as they’re ovecome by sloth. ML’s tolerance skill allows his to resist the effects of sloth. ML creates an alternative entrance to the tomb. The other teams recover and follow after ML. - To stop them, ML uses his tomb excavation skill which evolves into a tomb destruction skill. ML arrives at a Roman amphitheatre. The relic appears as Emperor Nero who loved the arts but his skills were terrible. - Nero praises ML for the novel he wrote and challenges ML to a literature competition. ML convinces Nero to leave the tomb with him to compete in an environment that’s fair for both of them. The relic shows it’s true form as a golden laurel wreath. - ML saw Julian Miller as he left the tomb before it disappeared. ML later suspects Julian led the other teams to safety. - The Nero relic says it bought ML’s novel. ML finds out the rope relic boasted about the novel to the other relics. Xufu’s relic collaborated with the other relics to sell ML’s novel. - ML makes Xufu’s relic hand over the profits from the novel. Among them is a relic’s core, the soul of a destroyed relic. - Yoojaeha creates a fake Nero relic using the relic’s core so the fake will last longer. ML puts a post to sell the relic on the online relic forum created by Pandora. He arranges an auction in LA and makes the attendees pay 1 relic per person as the admission fee. - Princess Sophie of Monaco wins the auction with a bid that consists of both money and high level relics. Julian Miller was captured by ML before he could reveal the Nero relic was a fake. Lee Seol Ah overheard Julian. - Lee Seol Ah proves the relic is a fake by breaking it with a B rank dagger relic. ML frames Julian by planting the real Nero relic on him. ML makes it sound like he did a deal with CEO Kwon then disappears after Yoojaeha used the painter’s ink. - ML arrives at the Hiltons’ holiday villa in Hawaii. ML overhears CEO Kwon infer that his conqueror’s relic is Julius Caesar’s relic. - ML goes to South Korea after reports of the next Great Tomb has appeared. People are missing after becoming possessed by the relic of lust. Lee Seol Ah is also there. With Irene’s help, ML finds and captures the relic of lust in the form of Dalgi, a nine tailed fox. - ML helps Detective Kim and his family when they’re hassled by Pandora agents. A small tomb appeared in their unit. ML finds and removes the relics, the gold lumps of 2 brothers. ML transfers a large sum of money to Detective Kim to help repair the damage. - The Nero relic was recalled from CEO Kwon by ML. - With Irene’s help, ML summons from a list provided by Edward over 250 Pandora members from around the world. They are brought to Nero’s tomb that has appeared at the Pandora branch office in South Korea. Irene’s relic brings financial disaster to them. ML forces them to reveal all of the corruption secrets within Pandora and takes videos of their confessions. He takes their relics and the members still have to make it through a maze to survive. - As not all members survived, there are now vacancies in Pandora. ML released an edited version of the videos to the media, exposing the corruption within Pandora. ML asks George, Irene’s brother, to join Pandora and gather allies to join with him. ML shows George an unreleased video of a member that confessed to Austin Rockfeller making the Hiltons sick. - Irene’s risk is triggered and ML spends the night in bed with her (not sure if they had sex?). In the morning the room is full of riches. Irene has now gained control of the Golden Hand. - ML goes to a secluded location and brings out the large gourd relic from the crow. He tried using Irene’s Golden Hand to force a treasure from the gourds but it backfired. The beings that emerge from the gourds attack him. ML and Irene defeat them, and ML gathers the relics they drop. - Joshua, a prophecy relic user and the god of fate. - He has the Nostradamus and Delphi Temple relics. He can’t see ML’s future for some reason. He was the one behind Austin to make the Hiltons sick. - The 3rd tomb of the 7 Great Tombs has appeared in Syria. It has the relic of envy. Yoojaeha is kidnapped and sent to this tomb by Richard. ML arrives in Syria with Irene. They’re attacked by Lee Seol Ah and the Chinese-Russian team. - Jin Chae Won, the gluttony king. She works for the Chinese. - ML confronts Lee Seol Ah that she’s being forced to work with the Chinese and Jin Chae Won because of the huge debt from her family. He uses a relic from the gourds, the Tears of Odin's Crow Muninn (Memory). It allows Lee Seol Ah to recall the memories of her past life with ML. - ML and Lee Seoh Ah rescue Yoojaeha and defeat the relic of envy, Salieri’s Music Book and the buff relic, Catherine de Medici’s fork. Jin Chae Won’s relic is controlling the tomb from afar and amplifies the effect of envy to include self envy. It doesn’t work on Yoojaeha as he has low self esteem and he bashes up the proxy relic, an incense burner. ML clears the tomb and they escape. Later ML has Lee Seol Ah sign a contract. - ML interrupts a live interview of Richard with the news that he cleared the tomb and rescued Yoojaeha. Richard is accused of plagiarism and trying to kill the original artist. - Richard uses a relic again to teleport Yoojaeha with ML. They were prepared for this and were armed with relics. They escape through a painter’s ink drawing. - Wade Harman, the propaganda king. He has the ability to control all media and press with the Goebbels relic. He enjoys spreading misinformation. - Richard uses his connections to defend himself in the media and suppress any interviews and articles from Yoojaeha. ML receives an anonymous email offering to help. Suddenly there are reports all over the world attacking Richard. ML knows it’s Wade. - Richard has the Mirror Mask relic that let him copy Yoojaeha’s skills. The problem for Richard is when he paints, he takes on the appearance of Yoojaeha as well. ML issues a challenge for Richard to paint in public. - ML ambushes Richard at his home with a bunch of news reporters. They make a bet on the spot to prove who is telling the truth. Richard and Yoojaeha have to reproduce a famous painting that Richard did before. Richard doesn’t even come close. - ML reveals the risk from Richard’s relic is he lost his own style and skills the more he used it. Richard tries to hide as a sculpture bust but ML finds him and he’s arrested for fraud. - Edward notifies ML of the new relic user rankings released by Pandora. They range from L1 Apprentice, L2 Player, L3 Swindler, to L4 King. Irene and ML are both kings, while Lee Seol Ah and Yoojaeha are swindlers. - Wade Harman contacts ML to invite him to join his excavation alliance. Wade offers to give ML info on the special treasures for kings. In exchange he needs ML’s help to take care of Julian Miller in Syria. The aim of the alliance is to find the Hitler relic. - Julian is using a relic from Indra the Indian god of lightning and war. He and his team are targeting others who hurt the community with their relics. He confiscates their relics and destroys their camps. After being accused of fraud by ML, Julian is in Syria because he’s on the run from Interpol. ML defeats Julian with his own relic. ML forces Julian to join his team and sign a contract. - ML takes Julian, Yoojaeha and Lee Seol Ah into a nearby tomb. It turns out to be a trap set by Wade. They defeat the plague relics and ML gives the others some fruit from the elixir plant to recover. - ML is able to resist the plague effects with his tolerance / immunity skill. He swallows a poison relic to meet the conditions to call forth the plague god relic. He uses this relic to send a flood of liquid waste to Wade and his team as they enter the tomb. - ML pretends to destroy the plague god relic with Julian before they go their separate ways. ML returns to the collapsed tomb to collect the damaged relics for restoration. - Wade goes to Jin Chae Won to demand help from a healing relic. She was the one who set up the trap tomb. She kills Wade. - Jin Chae Won kidnaps Lee Seol Ah then copies her appearance to fool ML. The crow warned ML that a strange aura was coming so he knew she was fake. She turns his place into a tomb. - The rope relic is the only one not affected by her high level relic. The rope evolves into a S rank Blessed Holy rope. - The crow gives ML some power temporarily which allows him to use his tomb excavation skill to find a way out. - Lee Seol Ah was thrown into another tomb created by Jin Chae Won. She’s rescued by the spirit from her reaper relic. - Nero helps ML to fight the monster army created by Jin Chae Won’s relic. ML pushes Jin Chae Won through a portal which takes the relic with her. The tomb collapses and ML survives. - ML sleeps non stop for a week. When he wakes, there have been many cases of relics that have claimed an owner without a tomb. The remaining king positions in the rankings have also been filled. Lastly there are nasty rumours being spread about ML, including an illegitimate son. - ML goes to a tomb in Kazakhstan where Julian had been stopping anyone from entering because it was dangerous. ML uses a clone created from a relic to distract Julian and the other teams, while he’s already entered the tomb. He’s challenged by the relic to play a game on a giant chessboard. - The relic is Sun Tzu’s Art of War. ML refuses to play chess and fights the relic head on instead. He defeats the relic and obtains it’s true form of Chinese chess pieces. - ML defeats and captures Louis Martin, a boy who spread the rumours to avenge Keira. ML finds out from Louis that the Leonardo da Vinci relic is at the US Pentagon. Louis escapes due to Julian interfering. - ML had a piece of Louis’ clothing and located him using the map relic. He has George make Pandora pass a law about any relic users under the age of 12yo must have their guardian’s consent before using their relic. ML sent hair samples from Louis and Yoojaeha to Edward for him to manipulate the results of the DNA test. Edward advises ML that after several retests, it showed a match which means Yoojaeha could be Louis’ father. - Louis is recruited by TKBM who offer to make CEO Kwon his guardian. Before Louis signs the contract, ML reveals the DNA test results and lets CEO Kwon do the test himself to confirm. - ML takes Louis with Yoojaeha and Lee Seol Ah on a train heading for the Pentagon. The train is attacked by Joshua who summons a tomb to appear. Joshua uses a relic to kidnap Louis. - Joshua uses an atomic bomb relic on the train. ML survives due to his defence relics. The Code of Hammurabi absorbed the attack and ML fires it back at Joshua and his men. - ML isn’t affected by Joshua using the Nostradamus relic as he wore earplugs so he couldn’t hear what was being said. - ML beheads Joshua and his body reveals he used a prison inmate disguised as him. ML has Lee Seol Ha use her reaper relic to rescue the other train passengers. - ML enters the tomb summoned by Joshua. ML wins the drinking game against the 14-sided dice relic and closes the tomb. - A fleet of army vehicles arrive and ML is surrounded by US soldiers. They claim to know his weakness but the info they have is wrong and ML beats them up. ML finds out there’s an extermination request on him and it contains a mixture of true and false info. - ML suspects the request was made by the 3 Egyptian god relics who ran away when ML was facing Jin Chae Won. - ML heads to the Pentagon in an army vehicle. He sees news about the next Great Tomb has appeared at the Pentagon. - ML finds the 3 Egyptian god relics hiding in this tomb. He defeats Anubis and the other 2 surrender. With their help, ML defeats the many Egyptian relics led by the god tier relics of Thoth and Tutankhamen. ML also obtains all of the relics from the Pentagon that were swallowed up by the tomb. - ML had trapped CEO Kwon in a mummy coffin after Kwon and his team attacked ML. To keep Kwon trapped, ML makes Tutankhamen keep the tomb open as it’s the relic of wrath and the tomb owner. The tomb only has traps and no relics. - Earlier in the tomb when ML was confronted by Julian, ML used Muninn’s tears to make Julian recall his past life memories. ML gives the Da Vinci relic to Yoojaeha which made him the Fraud King in ML’s past life. This relic can make a perfect copy of anything. It can only be used by someone with artistic ability. - Jacob Grey, US President. In ML’s past life, Jacob supported Keira and used relics to start a world war. - Jacob contacts ML and demands the return of the Pentagon’s relics. Anubis was summoned by the relic commanders who almost destroy it. ML and his team, along with Sung Jae, take a commercial flight to blend in with the civilians. - ML learns Kwon Sung Woo and Yang Chen are also on this flight. He provokes them with a contract for Sung Woo to hand over everything he owns and they send TKBM agents to attack him. ML takes Sung Jae hostage and forces Sung Woo to sign the contract. - The foreign team hired by Yang Chen want to force the plane to land and they fight with the TKBM agents. ML has Yoojaeha create fake copies of the passengers, Sung Jae and ML’s team. Sung Woo loses everything when ML enforces the contract. Irene threatens any company with bankruptcy if they help TKBM. - Sung Jae takes ML to the location of the vault with CEO Kwon’s relics. ML knocks out Sung Jae and leaves him behind after ML takes all of the relics. The coffin with CEO Kwon is finally found and ML allows the coffin to open after Kwon relinquishes ownership of his relics. - Chloe Laurent, she was the doctor for ML’s team in his past life. She was among the passengers of the plane but she escaped. - Chloe is now a member of Noah, an anti-materialist organisation. They’re against all relic usage and claim they want to restore the world back to before relics existed. Their leader Benjani is actually collecting the confiscated relics. - After paying Xufu’s relic, the rope relic turns into a young girl with a mermaid relic. It needs someone to recognise her within 10 days or it’ll turn into bubbles. ML recognises the rope relic. - ML finds and captures Chloe. He uses Muninn’s Tears but the process is disrupted by Jin Chae Won’s relic. Chloe was going to meet CEO Kwon who needs a healing relic. - ML has Yoojaeha disguise himself as Chloe and go to the meeting instead. At ML’s place, he destroys the brainwashing relic that was attached to Chloe and she regains her senses and her memories, including those from her past life. ML has Chloe sign a contract. - The meeting with CEO Kwon was a trap to hold Chloe hostage. Yoojaeha creates fakes of himself and Chloe. He inflicts a curse on CEO Kwon then escapes. The curse is related to the 14-sided dice relic. ML can roll the dice from afar and the result is a punishment for CEO Kwon. - With TKBM’s recent troubles, they’re keen for new excavation recruits to enter the Great Tomb in Paris. - Yoojaeha creates disguises and false identities for ML, Lee Seol Ah and Julian. They successfully infiltrate TKBM. - Joshua had a prophetic dream about the TKBM teams that showed ML. The Detection King was sent to Paris to find ML using her Norse god relic. The detection was interrupted by Irene who made the Pandora branches in Europe go bankrupt. They recall the Detection King. - ML obtains a new Stealth skill. - ML, Julian and Lee Seol Ah separate from the rest of TKBM as they enter the tomb. They arrive at the tall central tower and start to climb. They face the armies of the Napoleon, Xiang Yu and Ramses II relics. ML lures the armies outside to face the TKBM teams. - ML sneaks back into the tower with his stealth skill. - ML provoked Napoleon and Xiang Yu to fight each other. He used the 4 Egyptian god relics to defeat Ramses II, the relic of pride. ML decides to keep the tomb open for now. At the top of the tower, ML stopped the Loki relic from escaping. He took the items Loki had and he let Loki escape when he changed into a bird. - ML triggered a risk and went around acting crazy and spending money. Chloe helps him to snap out of it after he was captured by Julian and Lee Seol Ah. - Yoojaeha was sent by ML to attend an exclusive party in Russia. The aim was to buy the relics from the British royal family. Yoojaeha kidnapped the royal uncle, and created a fake so he could approach the Princess with the relics. He inadvertently saved the life of that uncle when an assassination attempt was made. Yoojaeha becomes famous as the saviour of the British royal family. - Eve Rockfeller, Austin’s sister. A senior Pandora member. - She seems to be under the command of the Prometheus relic. - Prometheus is disguised as Mr Rothschild, head of Pandora. The Prometheus titan relic is the other leader of the relics. Prometheus stole Zeus’ lightning and eagle. - Yang Chen pays Joshua to have a prophetic dream about him. In the dream, ML has killed everyone in the TKBM excavation teams. Before he kills Yang Chen, ML blames him for killing his “family.” - Joshua gives Yang Chen a name that he got from ML’s mind in the dream. He suggests trying to keep this person away from ML. - There’s a spike in bad reviews online about the products from ML’s company. ML’s team investigates them. - ML uses his fan club led by Sasaki to leave good reviews. - Later ML agrees to hold a fan meeting as thanks for the hard work from the fan club. He demonstrates some relics and wears props from fans while having his photo taken. - Dan / Im Hae Jin, a butcher. He was the hunter in ML’s team in his past life. Im Soo Ah is Dan’s sick 4yo daughter. She died in his past life. Dan’s name was given to Yang Chen by Joshua. - Yang Chen frames Dan for murder using relics to fabricate evidence. ML intervenes with Julian acting as Dan’s lawyer. The case goes to trial and Dan is found not guilty. - ML takes Dan’s daughter to a safe location where she’s watched over by Chloe. ML beats up Yang Chen and found out that Joshua was the one who told him about Dan. ML has Detective Kim arrest Yang Chen for making a false report. Dan’s case and Yang Chen are in the media, spreading more bad publicity about TKBM. - Chloe treats Soo Ah who has relic syndrome. Soo Ah has an operation and will make a full recovery. - (Own query: why not the fruit from the elixir plant?) - Later Dan signs a contract with ML. - ML teaches and trains Dan in how to use combat relics. - Eve gives a new prophetic relic to Joshua known as Merlin’s camera. It takes Polaroids of a future from a different timeline. - Joshua confirms this when he shows a photo to Yang Chen of him with ML’s team. Yang Chen releases some of his aura while looking at the photo. He recalls some memories from his past life when this photo was taken. He recalls betraying ML’s team. - ML and his team were monitoring Yang Chen in prison and they arrive to catch him with Joshua. A dead body was used as a medium again by Joshua who escapes. ML finds out what Yang Chen remembers and takes the photo. Yang Chen accuses Yoojaeha of also being a traitor. Later Yoojaeha steals Muninn’s tears and uses it on himself. He throws up and faints after being overcome by his past memories. - ML locates Joshua at a remote and secure villa. ML goes after him and leaves the others to watch over Yoojaeha. - Yoojaeha recalls from his past life that he stole health data reports on the team and gave them to Yang Chen. He was angry when he was accused of stealing. He didn’t restore the relics properly that were taken by the team into the tomb before they died. - Yoojaeha escapes and goes to ML at Joshua’s villa. - ML overcomes the attacks from Joshua’s relics and captures Joshua. The rope relic finds Yoojaeha and brings him to ML. Joshua is put into the painting relic to be questioned more later. - Yoojaeha admits to being a traitor and tells ML about his actions that contributed to the team’s death. Yoojaeha’s guilt over their deaths made him remorseful and willing to offer his life to ML now. - ML is willing to give Yoojaeha a 2nd chance. After Yoojaeha explains himself to the others, they also agree to let him live. - ML has taken Joshua’s relics and will get Joshua to make prophecies for the team. He also has Joshua make general and fake prophecies that ML shares for free through a new prophecy channel. - Kwon Hyuk Soo, brother-in-law of CEO Kwon - Ilya Volgof, a member of ML’s team from his past life. He has the Freud relic that manipulates memories. He also has a demon relic that can summon any of the 72 demons. - Ilya is ordered by Kwon Hyuk Soo to capture ML and his team. - Yoojaeha, Julian and Lee Seol Ah are swallowed by a giant snake relic. Julian uses his lightning power to destroy the relic from the inside. ML pursues Ilya and almost has his memories altered but is saved by the others. ML uses Muninn’s Tears on Ilya. - Kwon Hyuk Soo arrives with his men. Ilya fools Hyuk Soo to think he’s against ML and uses a demon to take Hyuk Soo’s arm. - ML wins in a battle of dominance power to defeat Hyuk Soo and his men. ML uses Osiris to imprison Hyuk Soo in a fake underworld. - Ilya confirms he’s recalled his memories from his past life. - Ilya is persuaded to sign a contract with ML. - ML has Ilya alter Joshua’s memories so he’s on their side. - King’s Tomb: contains secret relics. The one who possesses the secret relics becomes the true king. To stop relics from losing the essence of their being, they need a king of kings who’s in charge of the birth, death and rebirth of relics. - ML distracts Pandora and the other excavation teams around the world with fake tomb predictions and fake copies of himself. - ML gives Dan a stack of Polaroids to help with his relic user training. They are photos of Dan fighting. The more he uses the photos, the more he suspects they are his actual memories. - The crow tries to stop Dan from thinking about the photos. When Dan insists on knowing the truth even if it will cause him pain, the crow helps him to recall his past life. - ML and the team head to check the location of the King’s Tomb in the Pacific Ocean. The secret relics detect their presence and summon the King’s Tomb early. An island emerges from the ocean. - On the island, the secret relics teleport ML’s team and scatter them. Only 1 relic each is randomly assigned to them. - The Chinese excavation team with Jin Chae Won arrive soon after. - Irene was given Dalgi the 9-tailed fox relic. After observing Irene use her dominance to force Dalgi to submit, the secret relic of Kumiho the fox spirit asks Irene to make a contract with it. - ML entered a cave and is surrounded by lizards. He’s invited to make a contract with a secret relic that’s a giant lizard. ML is attacked when he refuses. - The crow appears and saves ML. She takes ML to a space she created in the tomb. She reveals that she's also a secret relic despite being imprisoned. The crow asks to make a contract with ML. - Only after the crow promises to get all of the other secret relics for ML does he agree to make a contract. - Yoojaeha and Ilya found each other. As they were about to enter the cave, they’re met by Jin Chae Won. She has Julian’s lightning relic and uses it to force the other 2 to be her guides. - A tremor in the tomb allows Yoojaeha and Ilya to escape from Jin Chae Won. They find the secret relic of the Phoenix. Yoojaeha was contracted to the Phoenix relic in his past life. He makes a contract with it again. - The other secret relics find the crow relic and attack while the contract with ML is being finalised. The crow protects ML and the contract is completed. ML uses the crow’s predation skill to devour the other secret relics. - All of the relics that were taken are automatically returned to their owners. ML meets up with his team but they’re attacked by Jin Chae Won and her monster spider relic. - Several ships approach but they have enemy excavation teams on board. The ships fire at ML’s team. - Suddenly a boat with Dan arrives and he fights the people on the ships. The rope relic helps get ML’s team onto a ship controlled by Dan, and throws Jin Chae Won into the ocean. - ML rests for a few days. He has Julian, Chloe, Lee Soel Ah and Ilya choose a secret relic to make a contract with. This alleviates the heavy toll on his body from the crow managing so many secret relics. Those on ML’s team with a secret relic are now ranked as kings. - Their hotel is attacked by a large force from Pandora who want the secret relics. ML and his team fight back while evacuating the civilians in the area. Yoojaeha takes video to use against Pandora. - The media receive the videos and Pandora is blamed for widespread destruction in an urban area. ML also holds a press conference and condemns Pandora’s violence. - When the relics were taken away at the King’s Tomb, their powers were suppressed. As a result, Kwon Hyuk Soo escaped from Osiris and Joshua ran away after coming to his senses. - Hyuk Soo fled to CEO Kwon to ask for medical aid. - ML found Joshua who was hiding from bounty hunters. Joshua wants to stick with ML now as Pandora has abandoned him. - The crow relic tells ML that the 7 Great Tombs are the key to the Great Prison that the body of the crow is in. - Joshua feels like something is blocking any predictions about the Great Tomb of greed. The crow says the leaders of the relics could be behind this. - The leaders of the relics are Prometheus and the relic of gluttony, who is the monster spider relic of Jin Chae Won. - Mammon, the relic of greed is forcibly prevented from creating her tomb by Prometheus and the gluttony relic. - Nina Miller, Julian’s younger sister. - Yoojaeha was disguised as ML when he was attacked and his throat was cut. He survived due to the immortality skill of the Phoenix relic. ML uses the disguised Yoojaeha as bait and learns the assassin is using the Jack the Ripper relic. - Julian was shocked to see Nina as the assassin. She was reported dead after a fire at her school. - Together ML’s team captures Nina. She’s been brainwashed to become a human weapon. Ilya checked her memories and saw a facility where she was imprisoned with many others. The facility was owned by Benjani, the head of Noah. This operation most likely involves TKBM and Pandora as well. - Seo Joo Won / Joy Allenby, ML’s twin sister. - Pandora attack ML’s company and its assets. - ML sends the team out to deal with it. Edward mentions that due to a shortage of manpower after the attacks, no one is available to monitor his sister. Since the company started, ML had Edward send people to secretly watch over his sister. - After losing their parents, ML and his sister were in an orphanage. She was adopted 17yrs ago and taken to the US. She’s now attending Harvard University as an engineering student. - She has a very high affinity with relics. - In ML’s past life, she died from relic syndrome. - ML ends up temporarily kidnapping his sister so he can tell her the truth about himself and reveal she’s under his protection. - Pandora promote several people to the rank of king by giving previously banned relics to them. Pandora also continue to attack ML and his team. - ML learns from Irene about an upcoming art exhibition sponsored by Pandora. They’re using the exhibition to recruit artists that could become potential relic restorers. Artists have good sociability with restoration relics. ML convinces Yoojaeha to hold his own exhibition at the same time to disrupt the one by Pandora. - On the first day of the exhibitions, Pandora used entry restriction relics to stop visitors to Yoojaeha’s. ML retaliated with Ilya using his demon relic to infest the Pandora venue with bugs. They agree to call off the use of relics and normal operations resume. - Pandora send some famous art critics to insult and belittle Yoojaeha’s artworks. Andrew, an even greater art critic that used to be Richard’s friend, visited on his own volition. He told off the other critics for not recognising the artistic genius of Yoojaeha. - Raphael’s pencil relic chose Yoojaeha to make a contract. - Yoojaeha’s exhibition is performing better in entry ticket and art booklet sales than Pandora’s exhibition. Yoojaeha’s artworks are also selling well. - Matthew Tyler, a US army colonel, was given Hitler’s relic by Pandora to help him upgrade. He uses the relic to create a barrier over the exhibition venues. He captures a couple of Pandora’s best restorers. He also tries to force Yoojaeha to be his exclusive restorer. - ML uses the crow relic to devour Hitler’s relic and defeat Matthew. ML faints from the pain caused by the crow from consuming the strong evil aura of Hitler’s relic. Inside the crow’s stomach, ML helps to destroy evil or strange relics to relieve the pain. He also recovers some relics to be restored. - Meanwhile ML’s team are in a tomb that suddenly appeared after the relic sensed the true king there. They clear the tomb after defeating the Seals of Heaven relic which can take the form of an ancient mirror, bell or sword. - ML tries to activate the domination buff skill of the Seals of Heaven relic but he doesn’t meet the requirements to do so. He recalls this relic was owned by CEO Kwon in his past life. - In the cleanup from the art exhibitions, ML found Michaelangelo’s relic and gave it to Yoojaeha. With the power from relics of 3 Renaissance masters (ie Da Vinci, Raphael and Michaelangelo), Yoojaeha can restore relics even faster than before. - One of the relics recovered by ML from Matthew was the greed relic, a fossil stone. It was broken and sealed by the relic leaders. Yoojaeha is unable to fix it. ML has the relic researchers from his company, including his sister, help with the greed relic. - ML had earlier revealed to his sister that the company sponsoring her research at Harvard was his company. - ML wants to torment CEO Kwon mentally as further punishment for his sins. ML plans to have Kwon recall some memories from his past life by using the Polaroid camera relic. - ML arranged for Yang Chen to escape from prison. Ilya brainwashes Yang Chen to take a Polaroid of CEO Kwon and deliver it to him. Ilya also put a wiretap on Yang Chen. - Yang Chen tells CEO Kwon about the possibility of a parallel timeline. He gives Kwon the photo and Kwon experiences the memory from his past life when he gave Yang Chen the order to kill ML. Kwon recalls Pandora and TKBM had grown to dominate the world and he was 1 of 4 emperors. ML calls CEO Kwon to provoke him further. Kwon is so angry he kills Yang Chen. - ML is notified by Edward that the greed relic is almost fixed. ML’s sister contributed the most to restoring it. ML and his team make many preparations before they let the Great Tomb of greed appear in the Grand Canyon. As ML’s team enter the tomb, CEO Kwon and his team follow them. Ilya and Dan lead Kwon’s team into a trap. - Prometheus as Rothschild is leading the Pandora team to the tomb. - Jin Chae Won finds the place that ML’s team were staying at near the Grand Canyon. Irene is there and tries to fight back. Yoojaeha left behind a prototype copy of Muninn’s Tears that ML asked him to create. It reacts to the energy from the fighting. - ML’s team get through the gates and traps of the tomb. - ML passes the trial from Mammon the greed relic. She wants to make a contract with ML’s body and soul. The crow relic won’t let her and takes ML’s team away from Mammon. - As Mammon is on her way to punish the crow, she sees CEO Kwon with his team. She likes Kwon’s greed and decides to take him with her. Mammon makes CEO Kwon fight ML to see who is more worthy of her. The TKBM team arrive and attack ML’s team. - The crow makes Mammon recall her past life when she’d made a contract with ML. They collected many relics together but the relics were all given to CEO Kwon. She also recalls Kwon had ML killed. Mammon is so angry about the death of ML that she uses up most of her power and beheads CEO Kwon. She reverts to her relic object form and ML takes her. - CEO Kwon’s head and body can still move despite being separated. ML throws the head far away to make the TKBM team chase after it. Rothschild arrives with the Pandora team and attack. ML creates a tunnel with his tomb excavation skill and his team escape. Rothschild turns into Prometheus and catches up. - Dan had recently made a contract with a secret relic, the Word of Amitahba (a Buddha fish). Dan uses it to against Prometheus. Julian uses his secret relic Haetae (a mythical lion) as well. - ML helps hold off Prometheus so Dan and Julian can escape. The rest of the team make it out of the tomb. ML gives false info about the greed relic to the rival excavation teams waiting outside. He describes the relic to look like Prometheus so the rival teams will enter the tomb and delay the titan relic. - ML and the team return to find their place in a mess. - Irene is missing and they detect Jin Chae Won’s aura. - The Muninn’s Tears prototype was activated. Both Irene and Jin Chae have most likely recalled memories from their past lives. - CEO Kwon’s head was found (ML has the body). He asks Rothschild about a relic to restore past life memories. Rothschild now knows the crow relic helped ML recall his past life. - Rothschild orders Pandora to put huge bounties on ML and his team, and Irene. They’re falsely accused of various crimes. ML and the team go into hiding. - Mammon is restored by Yoojaeha and makes a contract with ML. Mammon wants to be ML’s secret relic instead of the crow. ML says he’ll consider it if Mammon brings him useful relics first. - One night when the crow and Mammon clash, ML finally makes his decision. He will keep the crow as his secret relic. - Prometheus releases Odin’s spear, a god tier relic that can find its target anywhere. He throws it to hit ML. - The crow senses the spear approaching and alerts ML. He prepares for when it pierces him with a Phoenix feather relic from Yoojaeha. The wound heals right away and ML throws the spear back at Prometheus. The rope relic is attached to the spear to return the damage absorbed by the Code of Hammurabi. - The spear creates a large hole in Prometheus’ chest. - The rope brings back the spear and the Code to ML. - ML throws the spear to find the weakness of the Achilles armour relic on CEO Kwon’s body. Kwon Hyuk Soo deflects the spear which targeted his daughter. It injures her then returns to ML with Kwon Hyuk Soo holding on tight. - Kwon Hyuk Soo didn’t know that his daughter was used as the weakness for the armour by CEO Kwon. ML offers to become allies with Kwon Hyuk Soo, as they were both betrayed by CEO Kwon. ML gives a healing relic made by Chloe to use on his daughter. - Later ML gives a diluted version of Muninn’s Tears to Kwon Hyuk Soo to recall some past life memories. - Julian locates Irene in a remote town. ML and the team go to Irene. ML convinces her to return with them. He tells her that all of the team have their past life memories. She can forget about her past life as the current reality is completely different. - Irene tells ML about info she recalls from her past life. - Pandora is led by 13 special executives that utilise the King Arthur relic of the round table. CEO Kwon is a round table member. - ML was included in the list of true king candidates from the Pandora system. CEO Kwon was very agitated about this and wanted ML to be excluded. Not long after this, ML was killed. - With Kwon Hyuk Soo’s help, ML and his team easily infiltrate the TKBM office. ML retrieves CEO Kwon’s head and they escape. - ML forces the Achilles armour relic to separate from CEO Kwon’s body. ML then resets the armour relic to remove its weakness from Kwon Hyuk Soo’s daughter. - ML takes CEO Kwon’s head and body to remain in the fake underworld created by Osiris. The body parts are on a surgical relic that keeps them alive until the surgery is complete. - ML forced CEO Kwon to reveal useful info. ML found out how to use the Seals of Heaven relic and met the requirements. ML orders it to show the locations of the king’s treasures. - The crow tells ML about her previous contractor. He was the former true king over the relics. He was murdered following a rebellion that was led by the Prometheus and Horus relics. A strict hierarchy among relics was enforced. Those relics like the crow that were against the rebellion were imprisoned. - ML gathers all of his relics to observe as he asserts his dominance to force the Achilles armour to make a contract with him. ML wants all of the relics to obey him as the next true king, even when they’re against the relic leaders. Eventually ML gets more than half of his relics to pledge allegiance to him. - Jin Chae Won starts attacking branch offices of Pandora, killing everyone and taking all of the relics. She’s looking for Pandora’s secret research facility. Prometheus sends Horus to deal with her. - Jin Chae Won sealed the monster spider relic while she attacked Pandora. The spider comes out when the seal was weakened after the fight with Horus. The spider has no memory of the Pandora attacks and refuses to believe Jin Chae Won is strong enough to seal it away. - The spider relic creates a tomb to fight against Horus. - ML and his team sense the aura of the tomb. ML sees this as an opportunity to attack the spider relic while it’s distracted. - Jin Chae Won tries to get the spider relic to stop it's rampage. - The spider says this is a continuation of a war with Prometheus after the murder of the true king. They agreed to a ceasefire to rule over their half of the world as they see fit. The spider relic has always wanted to eliminate all humans. Prometheus wanted to groom a new king from the humans. - Horus escapes to bring back reinforcements from Pandora. - The spider relic faces ML and his team. The secret relics and ML fight the numerous spiders and the spider relic. - ML persuades Jin Chae Won to release the spider relic. It’s no longer useful to her cause as it doesn’t listen to orders. - ML removes the spider relic from Jin Chae Won’s body and seals it away. - Meanwhile Dan and Irene have been fighting Horus and the Pandora army outside the tomb. ML arrives with his team and they teleport with Dan and Irene using an escape relic. - ML and the others arrive in the mountains. ML has Nero create his palace underground so they can hide and won’t be detected. - ML brings out the spider relic to fight until it submits. - Numerous relics escape that were in the spider’s stomach. They dug a tunnel and made their way outside. The rope relic chases after them and evolves into a secret relic which gives it the power to catch all of the runaway relics. - ML now has contracts with 2 secret relics, which is unheard of. - ML also has all 7 of the Great Tomb relics. - Horus and the Pandora elite force find ML and attack. - ML tries to open the Great Prison as a means of escape. Only 4 out of the 7 Great Tomb relics agree to open the Great Prison. The entrance is split into several entrances and scattered across the world. The earth tremors from the Great Prison disrupted the anti-teleportation relics used by Pandora and ML’s team escapes. - The Pandora system relic seems to be using the corpse of the former true king (tbc). - The Gaia relic is responsible for raising new relics for Pandora. Prometheus chooses many new relics to use against ML, even though these relics are still unstable. - Zeus’ eagle relic visits ML. It proposes a deal to free Zeus from the Great Prison first in exchange for info on the locations of the entrances. Pandora has already found them and are guarding them. - ML and his team attack a farm in the US where an entrance to the Great Prison is. ML uses the Seals of Heaven relic to gain entry, as it’s considered a proxy key of the true king. - Prometheus and Horus arrive at the farm. Prometheus leads a Pandora team into the Great Prison and declares a state of emergency. The guard relics are mobilised to search for ML’s team. - A sacrifice is needed to awaken the 7 Great Tomb relics into treasure grade. Each awakened relic is a key with its own assigned territory. ML’s team hunt the guards to be used as sacrifices. - After an explosion from a guard who self destructed, ML’s team are surrounded by the other guards and Prometheus. ML continues to collect sacrifices. The pride relic Ramses II awakens as the SS-rank Emperor’s key / key of majesty after 1000 blood sacrifices. - With Yoojaeha’s help, ML’s team teleport to the Slave’s Door. The key removes the barrier and opens the great doors to the 1st basement level of the Great Prison. It’s a jungle environment. - The eagle guides ML to where Zeus is. Prometheus arrives and attacks ML’s team. ML uses the key to release imprisoned relics on the way to help fight Prometheus. Here they part ways with Sonia and the survivors from her group. - ML and Isabelle head back towards Schweizer's dungeon in the mountains. They find the entrance on an island in the middle of a huge lake on a mountain peak. They pass through a series of doors. They’re asked a question at each door by a projected image of Schweizer that ages as they progress. The questions can only be answered by ML. - The final room was prepared just for ML. He admits to Isabelle that he is Lucas. ML packs the magic items from the room. He finds Schweizer’s journal that recorded the events after Lucas disappeared. The last page tells ML to complete Schweizer’s greatest golem masterpiece “Anastasia” to find out the rest of the unrecorded history from the time ML was in the Abyss. - They exit the dungeon and are met by a massive 1000yo drake king. ML fights it with Schweizer’s staff. The phoenix comes to distract the drake king while ML takes the Frozen River elixir from the dungeon. Isabelle heals and cares for ML when he’s overcome by the effects of the elixir. The phoenix is near death when ML emerges to fight the drake king again. ML says he found Schweizer’s dungeon by accident and can’t recall where it is. - Shepherd talks about those including himself who inherited the will of the 5 heroes to fight for humanity against the Demigods. - These forces are divided across various circles that fight amongst themselves. Currently the most influential circles are those aligned with Strow, Phisfounder, and Lucid. - Shepherd says Isaka Blake is in contact with the Demigods. - Heinz Blake, ML’s older brother, is a member of the Strow circle like Shepherd. Heinz vouched for ML. - Mischael Blake, ML’s oldest brother. - ML decides to leave the Academy. Isabelle follows him. - On Shepherd’s advice, ML goes to the 3rd magic tower. ML drinks the potion and becomes a 7-star mage. - The investigation group consists of Mikel, ML, Isabelle, Camil and Liamson. They visit a small village. The mayor with some men greet Mikel and his group. Liamson confirms with ML that there are traces of blood everywhere and no other villagers around. The mayor and his men change into creatures of the Demigods and attack. The creatures are defeated by ML and Isabelle. - The mayor is left for questioning. He says the villagers were sacrifices to create creatures and liberate the powers of the Apostles. Suddenly his body self destructs, causing a big explosion. - ML destroys a nearby forest that had all of its vitality devoured. The Apostle finally reveals themself to be Lukess, the vice-master of the 3rd magic tower. The group work together and eventually defeat Lukess. Mikel dies after he is caught in the blast when Lukess’ body self destructs. - Yulian Montolivo, master of the 3rd magic tower. - ML didn’t include in his report that the Apostle was Lukess. - ML refuses the offer from Yulian to become a floor master. - ML gives the Apostle crystal he found to Adelia. He’s already agreed to visit the Traumen circle first. Dugenzar doubts ML’s skills and attacks him. He is easily defeated by ML who leaves him stuck in ice. - At the Traumen circle base, ML learns about the artifact wars between circles. With the weakened state of the Traumen circle, small and medium circles have been challenging and taking the Traumen artifacts. ML goes and challenges 6 small circles nearby. He defeats them and makes them swear allegiance to the Traumen circle. He also retrieves all of the artifacts that were taken. - ML is announced as a new executive of the Traumen circle. He quickly gains everyone’s respect with his skills and advice. - ML plans to make the Traumen circle the central pillar that will unite and lead all of the other circles against the Demigods. - ML wants the Traumen circle to win a friendly tournament in 3mths time against the small and medium circles in the area. This will strengthen the authority and power of the Traumen circle. - A member of the Traumen circle returns from their mission of finding Kassajin’s heir. They were unsuccessful in convincing Kassajin’s heir to join the fight against the Demigods. - ML decides to visit Kassajin’s heir by himself. Isabelle stays behind to continue training the Traumen circle members. - ML uses a fake identity as a mage mercenary to escort a merchant group going to the elf forest to trade with the elves. - The merchant group discover undead remains in the forest. A young magic warrior is destroying the undead. The warrior attacks ML when he finds out he’s from the Traumen circle. In the martial arts used by ML, the young man recognises Kassajin’s techniques. ML is taken to the young man called Ivan’s house and meets Ricky, the sword Demigod who claims to be a traitor. Ricky also wants to get rid of the Demigods. - Ricky wants to work together with ML. Ricky says when an Apostle is killed, the Demigod associated with them falls asleep. Ricky is able to kill the Demigod who is vulnerable then. Ricky proves it by killing Indra, the lightning Demigod after ML said he killed the Apostle Lukess. - Knowing the identity of an Apostle is to know the weakness of a Demigod. Ricky says there’s an Apostle in the elf village. ML and Ivan plan to kill the Apostle so Ricky can then kill the Demigod. - ML asks Siack, a high elf and a mage, for her help to enter the elf village with Ivan. He met her as a mage in disguise with the merchant group. - Snow the elf queen, the last ice elf adopted by the royal family. - Oydin, the elf queen’s older brother and a powerful spiritualist. He’s been secretly summoning the undead in the forest. - ML’s spirit communicates with the World Tree to find out how his friends died. Kassajin died after a week long battle with a Demigod. Lucid died when his homeland was annihilated. - ML finds out that Iris was a traitor who secretly allied with the Demigods. She killed Schweizer. She also drove apart Lucid and Kassajin. She’s still alive after all these years. - Ricky tells ML that Oydin is the Apostle. ML and Ivan provoke Oydin to lose his temper and summon the undead. - Oydin also summons his contracted demon, Asura. - ML reminds Asura of the debt it owes him from his past life. ML wants to know where Iris is but she disappeared 4000yrs ago after she made a contract with the Demigod Lord. - Asura agrees to make a contract with ML after he offers his soul as collateral. Asura breaks the contract with Oydin and disappears. - ML finds Oydin to be too weak and suspects Oydin is a fake Apostle. Oydin summons the death Demigod who confirms that Oydin was just bait to lure out the traitor who is killing the Demigods. Oydin is killed by the death Demigod. - A spell for summoning a skeletal dragon is triggered by Oydin’s death. Snow in disguise helps Ivan and ML to defeat the dragon. - Snow reveals to ML and Ivan that she is Ricky’s Apostle. Count Isaka might be an Apostle. - The large circles have spies following Ricky and ML. - Charles Roland, a female vampire who was once a queen of the vampires and executive of the Phisfounder circle. Charles summons the demon Lilith, the succubus queen. Lilith tries to find info from ML’s dreams but is stopped due to his mental strength and help from Asura. - In the Luanoble kingdom, Ricky takes ML to a place where ML will receive a mask to hide his divine power. - ML meets Hector who was a dragon captured by the Demigods. It’s soul was forced to submit and it became the Demigods’ slave, trapped in human form. ML asks Hector to make a golem for him. - ML’s master was a dragon. The beings who first fought the Demigods were dragons. - Before the assembly starts, Ricky assigns ML to practise using his divine power while getting rid of the trash in the Luanoble kingdom. It’s evolved into human form. Leyrin’s Apostle is Letia Blake, Frey’s mother. The death Apostle is the demon Satan. - Leyrin reveals a newly discovered metal called Illuminium. When consumed, it can completely hide the divine power of a Demigod. With this metal, the Apostles are no longer needed and the Demigods won’t by punished by God regardless of how many they kill. So far only a limited amount of this metal has been created. More will be made available soon. - The Lord speaks privately with Ricky. The Lord knows Ricky is the traitor and offers to pardon Ricky. Another Demigod will be framed as the traitor. The Lord orders Ricky to kill his Apostle. - Ricky meets with ML to say farewell. Ricky kills the clone of the poison Demigod who was spying on them. Ricky slashes the barrier around the assembly and creates a fissure in space. He pushes ML through that fissure which closes up. The other Apocalypses appear to kill Ricky. - ML sees Lucid’s grave and sword in the space created by Ricky. 4000yrs ago Lucid and Ricky were in a duel. Lucid said true strength was having conviction with the blade that put one’s life on the line. Lucid’s conviction was his trust in his friends. The Lord interrupted the duel and killed Lucid. - Ricky respected Lucid and was angry at the Lord for what he did. Ricky discovered his purpose after hearing Lucid’s words. - The Lord appears before ML to kill him but is stopped by Iris. She uses the favour owed to her by the Lord to save ML. Iris asks to see ML’s true face but he refuses as he doesn’t trust her. - Ricky has critically wounded 3 Apocalypses but he’s suddenly stopped by the Lord and left to die. Ricky goes to ML and says ML must go to the Blake House to stop the production of Illuminium. Ricky’s body disappears and leaves behind a core. - ML confronts the large circles who were following him. He tests the abilities of Charles the vampire and forces her to submit to him. She pledges her loyalty when she learns ML is Lucas. - ML meets the phoenix and finds out the soul of the drake king coexists with the phoenix in its body. The phoenix was forced to become an Apostle after the fire Demigod approached it. The phoenix says the fire Demigod is recovering in the desert. - 3rd Princess Fiore 25yo. She maintains a neutral stance. - ML meets Heinz and they go back to the Blake House. - ML is challenged by Mischael and ML easily defeats him with martial arts and minimal magic. His parents are impressed by ML. - ML sends out his spirit and overhears Letia and Isaka. Letia is pushing for an engagement with Fiore to obtain a rare ingredient for Illuminium that only the imperial family has access to. - Fiore and ML meet privately under the guise of marriage talks. She knows Letia wants a resource from her. Fiore’s master supports the Traumen circle. ML asks Fiore to join him in the fight against the Demigods. They’re interrupted by Fiore’s master through a communication orb. - Cairo Wilsemann, Fiore’s master and former master of the Schweizer circle. He’s also the master of the secret 11th magic tower. He was good friends with Beniang’s father who died after he was betrayed by the 3 largest circles. - ML tells Cairo that he plans to reform the circles from within. Cairo tells Fiore to do all she can to assist ML. - ML pretends to accept the marriage proposal with Fiore. Letia acknowledges ML is ready to know the family secrets. She takes him to a secret area of the estate where the experiments take place. ML is introduced to Leyrin who detects his divine power. Leyrin doesn’t kill ML yet as she’s weakened while in the process of using her power to heal the injured Apocalypses. - Heinz had long suspected ML and confronts him about Frey. ML says he killed himself because of his family. Heinz is distraught as he wanted to spare Frey the pain of becoming a living experiment like his brothers. Heinz was the one who blocked Frey’s mana channels so he couldn’t use magic. - ML has Heinz look for the Illuminium at the estate. Heinz discovers human hearts were an ingredient to make the metal. - ML begins his attack on the Blake House and fights Isaka. - The vampire is tasked with looking for Letia who was ordered to hide by Leyrin. Letia uses human sacrifices to summon the Demigod of darkness. The Lord sends 2 more Demigods who will arrive soon. The vampire is found hiding in the shadows by the darkness Demigod. - The badly injured vampire returns as ML defeats Isaka. ML is attacked by the darkness Demigod, while Heinz fights Letia. The vampire consumes Isaka’s blood to recover fully and joins ML to fight the Demigod. The vampire draws a warp circle to the demon realm using a magic circle to Asura that ML had prepared earlier. The darkness Demigod is sent to hell and destroyed by Asura. - ML helps Heinz and kills Letia. - 2 more Demigods arrive and ML is badly injured. - Suddenly Isabelle and a group of warriors teleport in. Isabelle takes ML to the warriors’ base to heal him. Heinz and the vampire are also taken there. Cairo had contacted Isabelle and put her in touch with his group, Paragon. (Isabelle is still really annoying) - Paragon is an alliance outside of the circles. Diablo, a 9-star arch lich, leads the Paragon warriors against the 2 Demigods. - Diablo returns to base to confirm they defeated the Demigods. - ML asks the vampire to arrange a meeting with Altan, the master of the Phisfounder circle. ML tells Heinz to take control of House Blake to secure all of the secret info gathered there on the Demigods. Fiore will support him. - ML wants Hector to help Beniang realise her full potential. - ML, Cairo and Diablo go to rescue Hector. Diablo works on undoing the complex magic cast by the Lord. Hector shows the almost finished golem ordered by ML. The golem is in the form of a young woman. ML has the Anastasia core created by Schweizer for this golem. - Snow gets a temporary substitute to act as the elven queen in her place. She joins ML to fight the Demigods. - Altan meets ML at the Traumen circle base. ML promises to show Altan the summoning circle for Asura in exchange for an alliance between the Traumen and Phisfounder circles. The vampire helps to convince Altan by confirming ML defeated a Demigod by himself. - Nora, Kassajin’s successor and Ivan’s master - Nora meets ML and agrees to go with him to visit the Strow circle. - Demigods start attacking cities that are connected to the circles. Lord gave Illuminium to the Demigods so they can massacre mortals without fear of divine punishment. - There is an emergency meeting of the circles at the Jun mansion in the capital. - Elia is a Demigod living in the northern snowfields. ML goes to see Elia for her help with reaching the level of a 9-star mage. - ML, Snow, Nora and Diablo fight Elia after she hears about Ricky’s death. She assesses their skills and agrees to help ML reach 9-star by fighting her. Ch 51 as of 24/11/22 - ML is Urich, a young barbarian from the Stone Axe Tribe. He knew how to wield a weapon since he was 5yo. Despite his disinterest, he was favoured to be the next chief. A shaman saw a vision of him becoming a great warrior. - ML’s tribe believes the afterlife and world of souls lies beyond the Sky Mountain ranges. - Sir Pordgal Arten, an imperial knight - Pordgal led a group to scout the western land in the Sky Mountain ranges. ML encountered this group while hunting and was captured. ML freed himself and killed everyone in the group. He took Pordgal’s sword and went to explore the world he didn’t know. - ML arrives at his first city, Ankara that revolves around the nearby copper mine. He joins a fight club to make some money. - He adapted well and taught himself the imperial language. - He kills the man who tried to sell him to a gladiator troupe. Instead ML negotiates his own terms as a free gladiator with Horus the manager. From the other gladiators, ML learns that Pordgal’s sword is made from imperial steel. It’s the strongest metal that’s monopolised by the imperial family. - The Empire conquered the barbarians in the north and the south. The northern expedition took almost 10yrs. - Sol is the national religion of the Empire that worships Ru the Sun god. It’s believed guided souls will return to the sun and be reborn. - Horus’ gladiators: - Bakman, the 1st to approach ML as a friend. - Sven, a northern barbarian that has been with the troupe for over 3yrs. He was saved from the sea by Horus. Sven’s family and tribe died when their ship sank. They were fleeing from the northern expedition. Sven swore his loyalty to Horus and became a slave gladiator for his chance to die as a warrior. The northern barbarians believe the Hill of Swords is where the souls of warriors go. - Donovan, the troupe’s main attraction. He’s an ex-soldier who took part in the northern expedition. He leads a faction that takes the easy and most profitable matches for themselves. - ML has been making a name for himself in the arena. - After 3mths, ML proposes to fight a match against 5 people. He easily defeats them and becomes the new main attraction of the troupe. He also now has a say in match allocations. - ML learns the basics of imperial writing from Horus. - Trios a nobleman hired people to ambush Horus’ gladiator troupe when they were camping. Trios blamed the troupe for humiliating him when his champion wasn’t as skilled at axe throwing as ML. - Horus is killed by an arrow to the neck. ML and the gladiators find their attackers and kill them all. - ML leads the gladiators as a small group of mercenaries called Urich's Brothers. They approach Earl Degelton and Earl Molando to offer their services in a territorial dispute over some farmland. - ML’s group decides to go with Earl Molando, who gave a fair and trustworthy offer. In the 1st battle, the armies consist of about 100 men each. ML’s group tip the balance in favour of Molando. ML tried to capture Degelton but killed his male lover Alrian instead. Degelton manages to escape. - Garcio, Captain of the renowned Silver Lion mercenaries, and Earl Degelton’s older half-brother. He’s an illegitimate son who left the family 10yrs ago. Garcio lets ML capture Degelton then Garcio kills his brother. - Garcio plans to marry the wife of his dead brother and adopt their child to strengthen his claim as the new Earl. - The conflict is stopped with Garcio giving up the land. - Word spreads about the achievements of ML’s group and their reputation grows. In the commercial hub of Havirond city, ML and Sven buy the freedom of northern barbarians from the slave market. - The lord of the city hires ML’s group to join a mission to subjugate bandits. ML meets Gotval, a Sol clergyman going with them. - The bandits hiding in the nearby forests and mountains are northern barbarians who follow the Serpens snake cult. - ML scouts ahead with some of the city peacekeepers. They’re attacked by the bandits. ML is the sole survivor. He’s surrounded by over 20 bandits. ML fights them until help arrives. - The remaining bandits are captured. ML’s wounds are treated and he falls asleep after drinking mulled wine. Suddenly poisonous snakes appear from baskets that were taken from the bandits. - Gotval protects ML but Gotval’s arm gets bitten. - ML wakes up and volunteers to chop off Gotval’s arm. - Back in the city, ML tells Gotval that he wants to be baptised. - ML and his mercenary group travel to a coastal town so that ML can view the sea for the first time. They’re commissioned to escort Fahel Elkrisha, a young noble to Hamel the capital. The trip will take at least 3mths one way. ML’s group will be paid with a pouch full of pearls. - Fahel is the 3rd son and he inherited most of the wealth after his father died. His half brothers are disputing his claim. He plans to ask for help from his maternal uncle who is an imperial knight in Hamel. He’ll travel with his 3 guards as part of ML’s group. - A group of soldiers are in pursuit. ML and his men kill the soldiers but sustain a few casualties. ML is suspicious of Fahel and demands to know the truth. - Fahel is actually Prince Varca anu Forlcana, the sole heir of the Forlcana kingdom. Duke Harmati is the regent and Varca’s uncle who covets the throne. The King has been unconscious for the past year. The Duke wants to kill Varca before he turns 16yo and inherits the throne. (Princess Damia, Varca’s twin sister.) - Fillion, Varca’s aide - ML cuts off some of Fillion’s fingers as punishment for lying to them and to commemorate the mercenaries who died. - ML’s group are approached by a border patrol. Their leader Orkel was notified earlier that Varca is missing. ML and Varca escape on a horse while the border guards check the mercenary group and Sven pretends to be ML. Orkel notices fresh horse dung but no horses. He orders his men to spread out and search a wider area. - Orkel was known as the Barbarian Hunter during the expeditions against the barbarians. ML attacks Orkel’s men and kills them all but sustains severe injuries. Varca comes out of hiding and fires an enemy crossbow to distract Orkel. Thanks to that, ML gathers his strength and kills Orkel. - Varca takes ML to Balma city for their rendezvous with the mercenary group. ML is unconscious and the group start talking about choosing a new leader in case ML dies. No vice leader was appointed by ML. - Varca considers ML to be a man of integrity with outstanding skills and wants to do all he can to help ML recover. - Varca makes enquiries around the city about a barbarian healer or shaman. He meets Juniva who is a prostitute and claims to be a former barbarian shaman. Varca hires her out of desperation. She makes an allegedly special porridge for ML to eat, then disappears. - Bakman and Donovan volunteer to be the leader candidates. ML wakes up just after Donovan challenged Bakman to a duel or to beg for his life. ML officially makes Donovan the vice leader on the condition that he never tries to kill another mercenary brother again. - Guards are inspecting all outsiders for snake tattoos after a baby was kidnapped and possibly killed. They are looking for Serpens snake cult members who are the main suspects. Juniva is one of those arrested and executed. Her tattoo was on her scalp, hidden by her hair. - ML and his group continue their journey to the capital. - Varca starts swordsmanship training with Fillion. - They hear rumours from the local farmers that a mage was seen in a forest. They meet Halbard who leads warriors from the Solar Corp. Halbard has the mage’s head who they hunted. - The Solar Warriors / Corp are a group of barbarians who converted to the Sun god. They were established as a private army under the control of the 1st Emperor. As “outsiders inside the imperial palace,” they’re unaffiliated with and separate from the Empire’s nobles. Their emphasis is on their religion and their honour. - Sven and other northerners see the Solar Corp as traitors to their own kind. - As they travel together, they see a village being raided by bandits. The Solar Corp rush to help while Ulrich’s Brothers only join in after Varca offers to pay them. ML helps Varca stop a rapist who almost escaped. Varca kills the rapist but it’s the first time he’s ever killed someone and he throws up. - The non-barbarians in the group are shocked that ML and Varca are about the same age (ie not yet adults). - ML finally decides to wear some armour. - ML sees a paved road for the first time. These roads are the imperial roads that enable faster communication and transport of goods and people. The Emperor controls the land that the imperial roads run through. - 12th Gate Captain Auvers Locastre - Donovan and Auvers were in the same unit for the northern expedition. Donovan led a mutiny and killed their unit leader to save everyone from dying if they charged the barbarians under the leader’s orders. Auvers as the vice leader begged for his life and was spared. - Germond, Auvers’ aide - ML kills the men who were hired by Germond under Auvers’ orders. The men had ambushed and badly beaten up Donovan. - ML gets Germond to publicly confess his crime. Auvers abandons Germond and puts all the blame on his aide. ML calls for a divine trial by duel to be overseen by the Solar Corp. - Auvers nominates one of his strongest knights in full body plate armour made from imperial steel to duel ML. The knight is defeated when ML smashes his knee into the knight’s face in a helmet. Auvers is deemed a liar under the Sun god and stripped of his position. ML sells the plate armour for a fortune to a noble. - The imperial order of Steel Knights: the majority originate from noble households. - Hamel the capital - Varca made a request to see the Emperor but it is uncertain when that will be. They end up facing the final boss for this round, an archfiend demon called Rigo who was imprisoned after challenging and losing to the combat god. - Most of ML’s allies are either killed or injured by Rigo. Dark casts the Rewind spell on ML which temporarily reverts ML back to when he was his strongest. ML defeats Rigo and receives many valuable items as rewards. They include a potion that instantly revives and heals everyone. ML distributes the items among his team and allies. He keeps for himself a photo of the mystery female player who left him to die. - Lucas leads one of the top Giga teams. He issues a huge bounty on ML’s team and allies for the time left in this round. All of the other teams come looking for them to steal their points and for the reward. ML splits up his team and allies to divide and conquer their enemies. - Giga sponsored the BJ player and archer, Umai to broadcast updates on ML’s location. ML confronts Umai but soon realises someone else is pretending to be Umai as he has the Nightmare dagger used by the assassin. The female player reveals herself as the fake Umai and the assassin. ML has an epic swordfight with her. Somehow she manages to escape. - The system deemed ML the winner and rewarded him with the Sword of Honour, which was his sword before he died. - ML’s past as Ethan Gong: - He became an orphan as a child when his parents died in a multi-vehicle accident. He was bullied so much at school that he decided to drop out. He became addicted to gambling and fell into debt. - ML felt his life turned around when he started playing Lucid Adventure. He considers the VR world to be his real world. - ML’s team receive a special reward for winning the subjugation round. It’s a worker production facility kit for the next round. - Seige round: players will be tested on their strategies. - Every player starts at level 1, but can still use their personal attributes. Teams have a day to build a small castle and take the enemy’s castle to win the round. It’s like a mini war. The players can kill monsters to level up. L10 is the maximum for this round. Only 8 teams will go onto the next round. - 2yrs ago when Lucid Adventure was still new: - Master Swordsman (MS) was rank no.3, ML was rank no.88 - After ML lost to MS in a spar, ML joined MS’ guild Zara. Real name: Jin, was in debt and in the same labour camp as ML. - Zara guild defeated Tete guild and completed 70% of the quest. - An absolute quest to conquer the world was given to all players once their characters were created in the game. - The guild master obtained The Book as a mid-quest reward. To upgrade the Book, pages have to be taken from other guild masters. - Giga guild: work as game managers and players in the game. - Nightmare skill: it was a new, evil and dangerous bug that started spreading in the game 2yrs ago. Players become much stronger in just a short amount of time. - Attack on Cobalt castle: - After the Zara guild infiltrated the castle, Armes and Constant went to the cobalt gem tower that supplies magic power throughout the castle. Constant was earlier told by a player called Sad Smile to take a rock with the Nightmare bug close to the cobalt gem tower. Nightmare infected the tower and spread Nightmare to all of the Zara guild members. - Giga guild arrived to arrest the infected players. Armes realised the Nightmare bug was planted by Giga as a means to control players and the game. Giga weren’t the true creators of the game. She allowed herself to be imprisoned and gave up her page in exchange for the release of her guild members. - When ML and MS found Constant, they asked what happened. Constant’s personal attribute “Liar” has awakened. To save himself, Constant blamed it all on Nightmare which started the war. - With the loss of Armes, Constant and many of the Zara guild members left to join Giga. The Zara guild dissolved. - ML finally defeated MS who called off the search for Armes. - Sad Smile is now the lord of Cobalt castle. - In the week before the start of the seige round, ML’s party are given a quest by Pooh Upooh to retrieve an item that was stolen from her. It’s a ritual dagger made from Lazie’s horn. - The Beard Gang were hired by Sad Smile to steal it. - The Hohoian Gang: hohoians are L1 NPCs that change depending on their environment. The gang were mistreated by the bandits and rebelled. They hid the dagger. - Dark uses the dagger with Lazie and protects the hohoians when the Beard Gang attacks. ML’s party defeat the bandits and complete the quest. Pooh Upooh gives the dagger to Dark. The Hohoian Gang pledge allegiance to Dark who gives them land. - ML goes to Cobalt castle on his own. He needs to quickly increase his strength so he can use the Sword of Honour. - On the way ML meets Novelist Han who gives ML a quest to find out what’s causing the undead to appear around the castle. The reward is 500 strength stat and the Lacerate skill. - NPCs are turning into undead while they’re alive. - Giga are conducting magic experiments near the castle. - ML gets into the castle and comes across Constant who is now a Giga hitman under Nathan. Constant tells ML that Sad Smile is the loan shark boss that owns the labour camp in the real world. When Jin paid off his debt and was released from the labour camp, Jin swore revenge on the loan shark boss. - (NB: That’s why Constant was meeting with Sad Smile before the Zara guild attacked Cobalt castle. At the time Constant was being beaten up in the real world by Sad Smile. Constant was forced to do the bidding of Sad Smile.) - ML hates Constant and considers Constant to be a traitor. - After Constant leaves, Sad Smile tells ML the info needed to complete the quest once ML signs a contract. ML has to do one favour for Sad Smile in the future. - 3yrs ago Lucid Adventure was still being developed. - Roy was approached by the rumoured witch who offers something not of this world for a lot of money. She offered the world-creating toy of the gods to Roy. After making a contract with the witch, Roy’s game program was fused with the toy and the world of Lucid Adventure was created. - Zero was the NPC mediator of this game world. She was the seed and primary root of the world. She has the power to absorb and recreate the world. Zero also has the Nightmare ability. - (Later Zero was the female player who setup ML to die) - As Roy pushed ahead with the game despite Sam’s protests, Sam told James to kill Carter. James drugged Carter whose mind was in the game with Roy at the time. Roy sent the witch to save Carter. The witch possessed Carter’s body which distracted James as he was driving. James died after his vehicle drove off a cliff. (Since then Carter can see ghosts?) - Fengxian 15yo. His name is the same as his personal attribute, a hero type of the ultimate warrior with absolute strength from ancient China. He was scouted by Giga and is in the team against ML in the seige round. - The seige round: - ML comes up with the strategy that defeats the Giga party. - Tac destroys a Giga party’s castle on his own. - A “No Name” female player helped a Giga party win. She looks like a mix of Armes and Zero. ML wonders if she could be Armes. - Dark reaches L90 and can get a 2nd job advancement. - A character in the game consists of personal attributes and jobs. - Players can choose their jobs. Advancement becomes available when you reach a certain level. - Dark and ML visit Pooh Upooh for advice with Dark’s job choice. - Pooh Upooh’s body is kidnapped by 2 people who use Nightmare skills and weapons. One of them also has ML’s gold armoured boots from when ML was no.1 rank. Pooh Upooh managed to temporarily transfer her soul into a lab rat before the kidnappers escaped. ML, Dark and Pooh Upooh pursue the kidnappers. They enter a portal then find out the No Name player has tagged along. - Scallion Head, the player ML defeated before, was one of the kidnappers. ML makes a bet and wins. ML receives the armour items back and Scallion Head takes ML to the one who gave him those items. ML is taken to a door and opens it to find himself at Cobalt castle, where Sad Smile greets him. - ML has the gambler class and absolute luck as his personal attributes. Because of his high luck stat, ML was able to take many things from other players when he used the Bet skill (ie money, items, skills and stats). That’s why so many players hate ML as they’d all lost to him. ML also has the Lucky Coin skill. By guessing the toss, he can temporarily raise or lose various stats. The success rate is also high due to his absolute luck. - NB: Novelist Han was Sora’s master when she trained in the mountains for a year. He said she needed to be honest with herself. - Meanwhile Sora asked HH to recommend a mentor. She is referred to MS for training. MS says she needs more live combat experience. He gets her to fight the most wanted red players in the game that doubles as a bounty hunt for his guild. - The fallen guild led by Scallion Head was using Nightmare skills to regain their strength and power. - They are just some of the pawns of Nightmare (under Zero), who are waiting for Nightmare (under Zero) to return and kill the gods. - Strong players are being kidnapped and killed to extract their karma which is used to make Nightmare weapons. Ultimately Zero wants to create a weapon that can kill a god. - Yopi arrives with a team to rescue Pooh Upooh. Her body was crushed for its karma. Her soul transfers to the dead body of a witch provided by Yopi. Back in Yopi Land, they discuss the possibility of war now they know there are traitors in the Eastern Alliance. - Sad Smile reveals to ML that he has a transcendental personal attribute, Contractor. In the past, Giga stabbed Sad Smile with the Nightmare dagger. To stop his character from being deleted, Sad Smile made a contract with Giga. Since then Sad Smile has been doing the dirty work behind the scenes for Giga. - Sad Smile calls in the favour ML owes him from their contract. Giga knows that ML is working under Sad Smile in the real world. Giga ordered Sad Smile to get ML to betray and kill Dark in the tournament. If ML refuses, he will die for not fulfilling the contract. - Yopi’s quest for Dark’s best bday gift: the reward is the King’s Blessing and 10k XP. ML went to the Thorn King’s dungeon that only opens once a year. He obtained a legendary item after defeating a master elven archer. He gives the item to Dark. It’s a legendary eye that allows the user to see the trajectory of objects’ past and future. - While searching for a gift, No Name ended up at Dragon Mountain. She encountered an ancient dragon who identifies No Name as a special Nightmare entity. For some reason No Name’s mind isn’t tainted by the power of Nightmare and she can keep her human side intact. The dragon casts a spell on No Name’s heart to control her power so she doesn’t go berserk in the future. - The Hohoian Village established by Dark is finished. - Giga break the magic barrier over the village and try to destroy it. Swordmaster and Novelist Han protect the village. Emperor Sam Han arrives to fight directly with Swordmaster who has merged with Novelist Han. - Sam was put in charge by Roy to suppress Nightmare. Instead Sam has become the Nightmare itself. Sam thinks Zero is under his control, when it’s really the other way around. - When the game was still being developed, Roy asked his children to test the game. Zero approached Sam to join forces against Roy. With Zero’s help, Sam is using the power of the game world to rule over the real world. - Yopi arrives as the village is located in his kingdom and he considers Giga’s attack to be an invasion of his territory. He brought others from Yopi Land and MS’ guild to stop the invaders. - A massive army of robot soldiers from Giga arrives. Pooh Upooh summons an undead army and giant blood golems. - ML’s team were on their way to visit the village. They get caught up in the fighting when Dark protects Swordmaster against Light. - Swordmaster summons all of the other gods. They stop time and discuss how to decide who will be the next ruling god. - They agree to use the PVP round to decide. Each god, including Zero, will choose a team to support. The god of the team that wins the PVP round will be the next ruling god. - The gods do a mass teleport and send everyone back to either the Giga Empire or Yopi Land. - Zero was a god that was used as a tool to create the world that Roy envisioned. Research was needed to complete this world and in the process, Zero saw how humans corrupted the real world. - Zero decided the game world had to be destroyed for good before humans corrupted it too. - Zero and Roy each had a half-core of the world so if either of them disappeared, the game world would collapse. - Zero tried to destroy the half-core inside her but Roy cut up her body to isolate the half-core in her head. - He made it so the dreams of the players would create a new half-core to stabilise the game world. - The ancient dragon visits HH and brought No Name for HH to take in. This was an order from their mentor. - Light has a special recruitment session to find 4 strong players. These 4 new recruits then fight the other Giga team members to determine who participates in the PVP round. - ML’s party go to Yopi Land to ask for info on the PVP round. Yopi and Akira (co-founder of Yopi Land) won the combat tournament in the past. Akira blames Dark for the loss of their troops during the Giga attack on the Hohoian Village. After losing the bet with Akira, Dark leaves Yopi Land with ML and HH, never to return. Sora goes with them to a territory in the north that was given by Yopi as half payment for his debt to HH. - HH obtains a god-tier lucky draw for Dark. - Darkist’s Secret Book of Black Magic Techniques (a divine item). Darkist was the legendary creator of black magic. - The god of death chose the Ultimate Healers team. - The god of blessings chose Light’s Giga team. - The 3 gods of time and space chose the Small Guilds team. - Small Guilds team (Grass Roots guild): - Choco Bibi (ex-Zara), mage - Tempest (ex-Zara), magic weapons - Drip Soup, swordsman - Cocomori (ex-Giga), swordswoman - NB: Master Swordsman (MS), swordmaster and guild master. - PVP round: consists of 1-on-1 duels between teams that progress through a process of elimination. A new player may replace an original team member who is unable to continue due to an accident or unforeseen circumstances. - The gods agreed to let the teams consist of 4 instead of 3 players for this round. Giga either assassinated or imprisoned any players that were possible threats. This made it difficult for ML’s team to recruit a 4th member. That dragon was his mentor. - HH is in trouble with his mentor for breaking his oath. - After leaving his mentor to look for a woman, HH wasn’t allowed to use the dragon’s power without the Evil Dragon’s consent. The dragon also took HH’s eye. - HH is punished with a deadly curse from the dragon. He’s ordered to visit the dragon with ML’s team. They go to Dragon Mountain and enter the Dragon’s Gate. They meet the Evil Dragon who makes ML’s team undergo the dragon’s trial. If they don’t pass, their characters will be permanently deleted. - They are each sent to a dungeon that’s customised to make them face their karma. This was secretly set up by the witch who made the contract with Roy. Their karma is the gap between the real and the fake world. It’s a trial of contradiction to defeat the inner you that can never be defeated. - Sloth is ML’s karma. He abandoned everything in the real world and only desires the fake world. - Pride is Dark’s karma. He has faith in the power of money. He thinks with money, everything is easy and everyone can be beaten. - Ignorance is Sora’s karma. She believes everything can be achieved through hard work, regardless of the nature of the world. - They pass the trial. The Evil Dragon refers to them as the promised ones who will see the end of the game. The dragon grants them the title of “heroes / cursed warriors”. - The curse is removed from HH. They leave to prepare for the tournament. - HH gives hero-tier weapons to Dark and Sora. - Dark got a bracelet with the Curse of Darkist. It allows rapid mana recovery. Sora got the Light Sword of the 1st Grandmaster Knight. - HH gives ML the dragon pearl headpiece that was part of the armour from when ML was no.1 rank. They allow 4hrs for both teams to get ready. - ML, Guru and Lila have logged out. - Constant tries to prevent Sad Smile from logging out to kill ML. Nathan and his team stop Constant. - Guru and Lila are inmates of the labour camp with ML in the real world. They made a plan to escape and board a ship to China. They managed to get Dongmin Ha, the RH man of the loan shark boss on their side. The boss wakes up just as Dongmin was about to stab him. The boss kills Dongmin and goes after ML. - On the way to the port by car, ML logs back in with just minutes to spare. For going to fight Giga in the final and not killing Dark, ML is instantly executed for violating the contract with Sad Smile. His character is reset to L1 again. - Final match: ML’s team - Dark, L90 black mage, transcend. personal attribute (time spells). - Sora, L90 great swordswoman, taster class personal attribute. - HH, L99 loan shark / former dragon knight (rare class) - ML, gambler class, lucky personal attribute - Dark uses the rewind time spell on ML who reverts back to when he was no.1 rank. ML stuns Light who faints. Then the other 3 members of Light’s team are quickly defeated by ML. - Light’s arrogance led to him to underestimate ML. When Light recovers, he’s toyed with by ML who wants to punish him more. - Light is forced to awaken his Nightmare powers that are similar to Zero’s. Light destroys the entire divine arena. ML still manages to defeat Light and keep his team mates safe. - ML’s team are declared the winners of an epic match that will go down in history. Suddenly the team find themselves in a hidden zone. Swordsmaster appears and says they made it to the hidden ending. He tells Dark that he used the last of his energy to create this moment and he’ll soon die in the real world. - Swordmaster gives his last will to Dark: - Live the life you want. Don’t let anything hold you back. - Make a lot of friends. Be happy. - Swordmaster and the hidden zone vanishes. - The combat god congratulates the team on winning and gives the prize to HH. The god of death and the god of blessings had bet that Light using Nightmare would win. These gods have lost their divinity as the price for losing the bet. - The combat god prepares to punish these ex-gods and the players that used Nightmare in the tournament. Suddenly the god of death kills and devours the god of blessings. The god of death was greedy for power and swallowed a seed of Zero’s essence before the PVP round. Zero took over the god of death from the inside. - Zero has been recovering in the Abyss (the Origin). She spread her Nightmare ability like a parasite to make others do her bidding in the game world. The female player that faced no.1 ranked ML was most likely a servant of Nightmare that took on Zero’s appearance. - Zero appears and she stops the attack from the combat god. Her body and powers are fully recovered. She can also use the powers of the gods she consumed. The Ultimate Healers team were Zero’s secret agents. They use their Nightmare powers to capture 1000s of players who were match spectators. Energy from the real world is extracted from the players’ negative emotions and absorbed by Zero. Then the players are turned into servants of Nightmare. - While the combat god continues to attack Zero, she grows in strength as more players are captured. Nathan and all of the people working for the Giga Empire escape using a magic portal. - ML’s team, No Name, and the teams from Yopi Land and MS’ Small Guilds join forces to attack the Ultimate Healers team. - In the past, Yopi met the Swordmaster who asked Yopi to investigate Zero and Nightmare. - Rankers Helena (no.12) and Coma (no.9) encourage Dark to calm the crowd of players. Dark calls this an event that everyone needs to clear or else the game will end for good. His small speech turned everyone’s despair into hope. Yopi uses a magic spell from Swordmaster that extracts the energy from the players’ positive emotions. The energy is then absorbed by the combat god and the gods of time and space, strengthening them like it did with Zero. The tide has turned and Zero can sense her defeat. - An Ultimate Healer team member sacrifices themself to uncover a hidden rule in the system that was buried by Roy. This new rule now applies to everyone (except for No Name and Dark). For every dream, there must be a nightmare. Doppelgängers of the original players emerge, known as Nightmare players. The original is permanently deleted if killed by the Nightmare player. - The gods of time and space shared their divine power with Choco Bibi. His personal attribute is space. He teleports his Nightmare player elsewhere. All of the original players escape through a large scale teleportation spell cast by Choco Bibi. - The divine power put an immense strain on his body and damaged the mana veins in his eyes. Later Tempest and Drip Soup completed a difficult mission to obtain the ingredients to make special glasses for Choco Bibi. - Yopi cancelled the teleport spell on himself. He cast a final spell that summoned the power of the Swordmaster. Yopi used that power to kill the gods and Zero. His goal was to scatter the divine power of the gods and return that power to the players. Now the complete masters of this world are the players. Triggered by the end of the game world ruled by gods, Roy Han’s final will is broadcast across both worlds. - Nightmare Choco Bibi teleported all of the Nightmare players to where he was. They need someone to unify and lead them. They decide to find No Name and make her their Queen, as she’s Zero’s daughter. - The prize from the tournament was a royal seal that is the symbol of a legitimate king. Dark named his territory in the north, Dark Land and is now it’s king. After advertising for new residents, people travel from all over to settle in this new country. The Hohoians from the village in Yopi’s territory also relocated to Dark Land. After helping to establish the new nation, Sora leaves on a journey to strengthen herself. - ML was forced to log out as the gods started fighting. - His body was in a car accident with Guru and Lila. - Guru managed to run away but ML and Lila were found in the car by the loan shark boss. Guru saves ML and Lila by driving a car over the thugs holding them captive and knocking out the boss. There’s an explosion, with Guru likely to be dead. - ML and Lila try to get away but are surrounded by more of the boss’ men. They are put into barrels and dumped at sea. - 2yrs later, ML is still missing and presumed dead by many. - Dark believes ML is still alive and continues to search for ML. Dark has a new time skill, “Clock Spring of the Past” that lets him learn the past of everything that exists in the game world. - Before Lazie left, Dark was trained in combat using Lazie’s deadly Bear Hunt move. Giga constantly send assassins to kill Dark in both the game and real worlds. Dark has become an experienced fighter as a result. Dark is now no.3 in the rankings. - 17yo Dark is a 1st year student attending Lucid High School in the game. He has a group assignment to investigate the issues in Lucid Adventure. His group chose the recent Nightmarisation of monsters as their topic. His group includes Fengxian, Werewolf and a new transfer student called Chota (Min). They defeat a monster and capture it’s Nightmare core. - A demon noble under the command of the Nightmare Queen (No Name) attacks Dark and his group. Dark destroys the demon but a part of the demon survives and uses Nightmare to possess Chota. - Chota was killed by ML in the past. The demon manifests as ML through Chota from his memory of ML. - Sora returns in time to save Dark’s group and releases Chota from Nightmare. HH arrives and helps to decontaminate Chota from the Nightmare parasite. HH advises the demons have allied with Nightmare and are taking over castles to conquer the world. - Dark finds a piece of ML’s lucky coin in Chota’s eye. Dark hopes finding more pieces will lead to ML. - Sleepwalking Syndrome: it’s a condition that forces a player to fulfill in real life an agreement made in the game. - Dark accepts quests for a very high fee. He’s asked to look into what made Chang, a male K-pop idol strip naked during a comeback concert. Dark entered the idol’s past memories and saw the idol lost a PK fight. The idol was involved with Huu, a female celebrity. Her fans were influenced by Nightmare to attack Chang in the game. Dark and Sora stop the fans from attacking Huu next. From the fans, Dark finds another lucky coin piece. - Current status and land ownership of guilds: - Giga, no.1 guild with 35% of all land - Elixir Plant (Dragon of Light), no.2 guild with 25% of all land. - Anti-Giga Alliance. 5 major guilds, including Yopi and Sad Smile. 20% of all land. - Dark, united with small guilds. 9% of all land. - New Nightmare (under No Name), rapidly expanding their land. - Roy Han’s will: his CEO of Giga position will be passed on to whomever is the 1st to see the final ending of Lucid Adventure. - After Roy’s death, Sam told Carter to quit the game. Carter refused to quit and he was exiled from the luxury Han family residence to survive on his own. Helen, a Giga employee (Overseas team, Games), took in Carter and looked after him. - Carter under a false identity enrolled in a public school for the 1st time. He was the target of bullies. HH coached Dark on fighting so he could survive and grow stronger in the real world. - Fengxian was one of the strongest thugs in the school. He was fired from Giga after his team lost to ML’s team in the tournament. - Carter became skilled in trading shares to earn money. - As a potential heir, Carter was seen as a threat that had to be eliminated. Nathan ordered for Carter and Helen to be killed. - Fengxian saved Helen after he saw men attacking her in an alley. Helen told Fengxian who Carter really is and that he’d be the main target. Fengxian went to save Carter next. The thugs attacking Carter were forced to flee when the police came. - Helen was still kidnapped and probably killed by Nathan. - MS heard about Carter’s situation. They met in real life and MS found a safe place for Carter to live. Later Carter found out Helen was investigating ML’s whereabouts, the Miso company and its connection with Giga. Carter wants to crush Giga with his own strength. - The Tower of Abstinence: a new dungeon. - HH detected ML’s karma here. Dark’s school group and Sora clear the floors of the dungeon. To clear the top floor and the whole dungeon, 3 teams must compete. The others are Heriach (Hercules) and Apple from Giga under Sua, and Light’s Giga team. - Dark and Sora defeats Heriach and Apple. Dark used a new regression (time) skill and summoned an ancient dragon. Sora used Taster at maximum level. - As this dungeon involves a trial of abstinence, players are dealt damage from their desires. The dungeon guardian amplified the desires to stop Light’s attack on Dark that would destroy the dungeon. Both teams for Light and Dark failed the trial and are sent back to their territories. Chota had no desires and won the trial. He’s teleported back to Dark Land with the divine power as his reward. Dark extracts another piece of the lucky coin from the divine power. - Crosswalk of the Moon: a new dungeon. - Another place where HH detected ML’s karma. - The armies of Elixir Plant vs Giga are fighting in front of the dungeon. The Grass Roots guild make it past both armies and enter the dungeon. They clear the dungeon and obtain the divine power as the reward. - Grass Roots guild: - Master Swordsman, swordmaster - Tempest, holy shooter - Drip Soup, holy knight - Choco Bibi, time and space mage - Queen No Name sent teams to get the divine power from the Tower of Abstinence and Crosswalk of the Moon dungeons. The team sent to the Tower of Abstinence were too late. - The Nightmare players of Grass Roots arrive at the Crosswalk. They use an unstable Nightmare boss monster chimera to destroy the dungeon and kill the dungeon guardian. - The original Grass Roots have grown stronger and almost defeat the Nightmare players. Choco Bibi dropped his guard against his Nightmare player and was used as a hostage. Nightmare Choco Bibi made MS surrender, then said he wanted the divine power and a rematch in 2mths. - Akira visited Dark and asked to join Dark Land. - Akira and Yopi fought as Akira disagrees with the path Yopi is on. - A year ago, Tac died in a car accident in real life. Yopi suspects Giga was behind it and he’ll do anything to get his revenge. - Principal, Elixir Plant guild master. She has the Armistice Agreement skill, a promise skill that has a strong binding force. - She also has a skill of rules that can reestablish or recreate the existing rules of this game world. - Stone, Elixir Plant vice guild master, current no.1 rank. - Players killed by Nightmare wake up in the real world with no memory of playing the game. This problem has become widespread. Nightmare has also been able to rapidly conquer castles that are weakened due to the fighting between guilds. - The Elixir Plant guild leads the call for a truce among the guilds and to unite against Nightmare. - The Starting House: a neutral territory where the summit talk is held between the 4 top guilds. - The alliance between the guilds to subdue Nightmare will be called the Guilds’ Union. Yopi sets up Giga and Dark Land to battle for the position of union leader. HH will represent Dark Land. Xiang Yu the supreme king will fight for Giga. It’s a greater risk for HH as an NPC. He will cease to exist if he dies. - HH summons the dragon's mana. In doing so he’s also summoned the Evil Dragon who saves HH from being killed. The dragon possesses HH. Xiang Yu is authorised by Emperor Sam to use his double personal attributes. This is new technology developed from a top secret experiment by Giga to copy and overlay personal attributes. The dragon protects HH’s body and kills Xiang Yu. - The Evil Dragon warns that Nightmare will become a greater disaster than himself. A messenger for the Dragon of Light appears and says Nightmare is trying to open the door between the game world and the real world. If that happens, both worlds will collapse. - After the alliance was formed, a special quest called Great War appeared for everyone. - Hephai, this world’s only master blacksmith. She inherited the skills from her sister after she died. Hephai used to work for Giga but left to look for something more meaningful. - Sora and her ego sword (Ego) had an argument during her travels and they parted ways. Ego can now take human form. Ego has been stealing and eating weapons. Near the Starting House, Ego was being punished by Hephai after eating one of her swords and running away. Sora heard Ego’s cries and came to the rescue. The matter between Ego and Hephai is resolved. - Hephai had been given a lucky coin piece by a fortune teller and told to wait near the Starting House. Sora invites Hephai to Dark Land. Hephai gives the piece to Dark who completes the lucky coin. - Dark is suddenly taken to the Realm of Souls. He follows ML’s karma to the demon world. ML as HCLW is unconscious inside a mass of negative emotions. Dark is forced to leave before he is killed by an unknown entity. - Nightmare have persuaded almost all known named monsters to stand with Nightmare. Monsters buffed by Nightmare become very powerful. - The monster type personal attribute is new and appeared after the gods perished. Chota has the Sandbag Slime attribute. - Chota can save an opponent’s skills when he’s hit by that opponent. He can’t use skills that are above his level. He can also revive after dying. - Dark’s group go to a Hohoian mine village on the outskirts of Dark Land, where goblin minions of Nightmare have attacked. Dark tells Chota to prove himself after all of his training and defeat the goblins by himself. Chota is successful. - Strategists of the Guilds’ Union: - HH of Dark Land - Pooh Upooh of Yopi Land - Zhuge Kong Ming (Blue Dragon) of Giga - Pang Tong (Young Phoenix) of Elixir Plant - To motivate the rankers, a few rules were added by the Union to increase the sense of rivalry. The Nightmare players use their violence and desire to be acknowledged to hunt the rankers. The Nightmare players are also ranked. 1. Stone, Elixir Plant, warrior class. 2. Dark’s group go to the boundary and face a high level demon with several Nightmare chimeras in containers. With ranker Cave’s help, they defeat the demon and destroy the chimeras. - At Jelly Village near the boundary, Grass Roots face the 2nd demon prince. MS’ personal attribute at max level is the hero type, Admiral Yi Sun Shin. When MS sacrifices himself to save the others, his ultimate skill is awakened. He uses an ancient battle ship to defeat the demon prince who was Nightmarised. Part of the reward is the demon prince’s soul. A fragment is stolen by other agents of Nightmare. - Grass Roots teleports to Dark’s group. They use the karma from the defeated demons to create a portal to cross the boundary. - Constant killed the 3rd demon prince to obtain his karma. He found out about Dark crossing the boundary and plans to follow him. Constant knows this must be related to ML. At the boundary, another Nightmare agent steals a demonic soul fragment from Constant. - Constant’s personal attribute “Liar”: - When he says a lie, others believe it to be the truth. - He can fool magic, skills, minds and bodies with his elaborate lies. It becomes uncertain what is real and what isn’t. - The penalty for this attribute is the more it’s used, the more Constant becomes unable to distinguish between reality and illusion. Constant is slowly going crazy. - ML could be one of the keys to defeating Nightmare. - Dark is protected by the almighty god's power and isn’t affected by Nightmare. - Dark’s group and Grass Roots arrive at the demon world. - They’re asked by Lazie’s family to save Lazie who has been imprisoned by the Council of Elders. Lazie was against the demons joining Nightmare and fought the Elders but lost. - Dark, Sora, Fengxian and Choco Bibi go to the Demonic Tower to rescue Lazie. - The Elders infected Lazie with Nightmare. - Unlike players, NPCs can’t remove the taint of Nightmare. In the fight between Lazie and Dark, Lazie asks Dark to let him honourably die in battle. After Lazie’s death, Dark receives Lazie’s essence. Dark absorbs the essence and knows where ML is. - Dark’s class is upgraded to Dark Emperor. - Ham, Kang Lim, and Zhao Yun are defeated by the 1st demon prince and the heir to Master Devil. Stone accepts the quest issued by Giga and arrives to fight the demon prince. - Stone is in a coma in real life. He was chosen by the Dragon of Light and summoned to be the warrior hero that saves the world from destruction. He was given the 5 swords of the ancient warriors who fought the demons. - Stone uses all of his power to defeat the 1st demon prince. - While Stone is weakened, Nightmare players steal the reward which includes the soul of the 1st demon prince. - The Nightmare chimeras have been failed experiments so far. The ultimate chimera is a combination of the strongest monster and the strongest player to produce the strongest weapon for Nightmare. The demonic soul fragments and Nightmare use ML’s body as a vessel to become the ultimate weapon. - Giga forces are weakened after the fight with the 1st demon prince. Yopi takes this chance to break the contract with the Guilds’ Union and attack Giga’s main castle with his anti-Giga allies. - Yopi has the trading card game ability. It can handle everything that exists in the game in the form of cards. - Ultimately Sam is defeated by Yopi who used a Nightmare card. Before a sleepwalking command to Sam can be given, Yopi is stopped by Akira. - While Yopi and Akira are distracted fighting each other, Nathan arrives and defeats them both. Nathan admits to being the one behind Tac’s death, who died under the effect of the Sleepwalking Syndrome. Nathan has betrayed Giga and joined Nightmare. He completely eliminates Sam, Yopi and Akira. - The Queen leads the Nightmare forces to conquer Giga’s main castle. Nightmare have now completed 90% of the absolute quest. All that remains is to defeat the first dragons, Vinjure the Evil Dragon and Lahlou the Good Dragon / Dragon of Light. - Dark had asked HH to get Light on side. HH saved Light from Nathan’s treachery. Dark offers a deal for Light’s help in the real world to find ML. In exchange, Dark will end the game and handover the CEO position of the Giga group to Light. - Master Devil’s Castle: As Dark’s group and Grass Roots approach the castle, they’re met by the Nightmare players who want to kill their originals. Nightmare Choco Bibi teleports each Nightmare player with their original to separate areas with special barriers. Dark is faced with Nightmare versions of Light, Sua and Roy. - During Sora’s journey, she followed the Map of Taste to unlock skills and level up as she hunted and ate rare ingredients. - The last one was the Evil Dragon’s tail. She received it after withstanding the effect of dragon’s fear. - To defeat her Nightmare player, Sora finally unlocks the reward for eating the tail. Her class is upgraded to a Hero of Taste. Ego is also upgraded to the Hero’s Sword. - On Sora’s journey, Lila gave her “kitchen knife” ego sword to Sora’s ego sword to consume. Ego’s upgrade enables it to use the “kitchen knife” abilities too. - ML is using the party effect to receive XP from the Nightmare players fighting their originals and has leveled up. He refuses to follow the Queen’s orders and challenges her to a duel with all of her stats as ML’s prize of he wins. The Queen has inherited Zero’s powers. Before she kills ML, she’s stopped by masked Nathan. - MS was saved by Constant. Then MS and Constant got through a crack in the barrier and saved Choco Bibi. The barrier breaks and everyone returns to the same place. ML arrives to save the Nightmare players. Dark manages to grab onto ML and transmit their past memories together. ML recalls who he is and wakes up from Nightmare. - Nathan appears and ML falls under his control again after a drug is injected into his real body. Nathan badly injures Constant. Nathan has ML kill the Nightmare players to obtain their XP and level up quickly. - Nathan saved the loan shark boss, ML and Lila in real life. He included ML and Lila in experiments he was conducting using drugs to split the minds of players so he could control them. Then he created the Nightmare chimeras by combining players with monsters. - In the fight against ML, Constant uses the last of his power and dies. Dark uses a tracking spell on ML when a window of opportunity is created by everyone’s efforts. Dark locates where ML is in the real world. He sends the coordinates to Light who logs out. - In the real world, Lucas heads to the abandoned hospital site where ML is. - Before he died, Constant sent a message to all of his team members of the 13th squad under Nathan. They realised all of them were lied to by Nathan who used their weaknesses in real life to control them. The 13th squad arrive to support Dark and his allies. - HH sends a message to Dark that the first dragons are on their way. Choco Bibi, Vegani from the 13th squad, and Sad Smile (teleported by Vegani) combine their powers to teleport the first dragons. To buy time to setup the spell, MS sacrifices himself and fights ML on his own. Just as ML killed MS, the teleportation is successful and the first dragons, Stone and HH appear. - ML badly injures Stone. The Evil Dragon sacrifices himself to give Dark and Sora the chance to send their soul forms into ML’s mind. Nathan’s connection with ML’s mind is broken. - Nathan had already copied 99% of ML’s powers. He attacks Queen No-Name with an army of Nightmare puppets. - No Name uses Zero’s powers to defeat Nathan. - She attacks the Dragon of Light. She destroys the dragon using the power from the real world. The absolute quest is complete and the gate to the real world will open in 7hrs. - In the real world, the life energy of people logged into Lucid Adventure is being absorbed by the game world. - Through the Queen and Nightmare, Zero intends to attain her goal of wiping out humanity and start afresh as the god of a new world. - Nathan appears again and attacks No Name. His tendency is the Careful Strategist. He is cunning and manipulative. ML will do anything to survive, even if it means losing his humanity. HS seems to recognise Hayan from his past life. - Lee Jihye 29yo, selfish and ambitious, low stats and low potential. She rules the survivor camp when HS is away. - After killing monsters with HS to level up together, ML and DG unlock their classes. ML chooses to be a mage (normal) and his intellect and magic stats increase. DG is a shield warrior. - ML uses the sexual harassment of Hayan by Seokwoo (one of Jihye’s lackeys) as an opportunity to exert his control over the camp. He’s also seen as a saviour by Hayan. Later Jihye speaks to ML privately and they agree to work together. (Ugh they kiss) - To get closer to Hayan, ML and Hayan have been learning magic together. ML saw Hayan chose mage as her class, with the Exemplary Mage skill (heroic). He knows she’s lying when she says she hasn’t chosen it yet. Hayan wants to prolong her lessons with ML so she’s lying about her ability on purpose. She likes ML and is scared he’ll abandon her. - Park Hyeyoung 27yo, Calculative Diplomat tendency. She’s one of Jihye’s lackeys and convinces ML to include her on the next hunt. - Hyeyoung bullies and scares Hayan about ML, triggering a mad and jealous obsession in Hayan towards ML. - Hyeyoung and Hayan join ML, DG and HS on the hunt. - Hyeyoung feels threatened by ML and she attracts more monsters to try and kill him. Hayan uses her magic to kill Hyeyoung. ML finds them and he uses fire magic to dispose of Hyeyoung’s body. - HS lured the monsters away from the rest of the party. - He says he found magic items in a treasure chest and gives them to ML, DG and Hayan. Magic accessories can only be activated one at a time and can’t be stacked. DG gets the iron dwarf’s steel bracelets (normal), ML takes a magic shield ring (rare), and Hayan gets the sacred healing ring (rare). HS says he considers them all to be his comrades. - Jung Jinho 29yo, leader of murderous survivors who had a different Start Point. He’s a battle mage (rare) and his tendency is Calculating (psycho) Killer. - Seokwoo left the camp using the excuse of helping ML’s hunting party. He returns with Jinho and his men. HS welcomes them to stay at the camp. He recognises Jinho as an enemy from his past life. - The tutorial’s undergound dungeon: a rare-tier survival quest. - Jinho, 2 of his men and Seokwoo join HS’ party for this quest. Jinho plans to murder them and take control of their camp. HS already told the party to treat Jinho and the others as enemies. - They enter the dungeon and monsters attack. ML holds back Hayan and DG from helping and lets one of Jinho’s men die. - ML is attacked by Seokwoo and Jinho’s 2nd man after he provoked them earlier. Jinho is angry that his plans were ruined by Seokwoo and the other man. HS fights Jinho when he tries to attack them. Hayan heals ML with her magic ring while DG knocks out Seokwoo. ML kills Seokwoo and Hayan kills Jinho’s 2nd man who ran off. HS kills Jinho. - ML receives options for a rare-tier class upgrade. ML decides to choose the alchemist after HS offers to give him a magic item: an Intro to Alchemy book (heroic-tier). - The party enter a room that has a magic circle on the floor. HS transfers some mana to the circle and it clears the tutorial dungeon. - A door on the other side of the room opens. - Lee Sanghee 33yo, vice guild master of the Blue guild. - Her class is Sacred Knight (heroic). Iron Blood is her title and skill. Ideal Mediator is her tendency. - She’s the manager of the tutorial dungeon and will oversee the rescue of the survivors still inside. - The party finally make it outside. They’re treated like VIPs and taken to a local branch of the Blue guild. It all appears luxurious but ML quickly realises it's all fake. - The party cleared the tutorial dungeon in 3mths, the fastest in history. Usually it takes about 6mths. ML can tell the Blue guild are desperate to recruit his party to revive their power and fortunes. - HS was the Blue guild master in his past life. Everyone in the guild died. This time he’s determined to save everyone. - The Continent: Holy Empire, Republic, Kingdom Union. - There are several tutorial dungeons across the continent. - Lee Seolho is a Blue Elder and administrative team leader. - In the individual interviews, ML is insulted, scorned and patronised by the Blue guild chief executives. The spectators and scouts see how close ML’s relationship is with the others, especially with Hayan. The offers to recruit them skyrocket. - Cha Heera 28yo, Mercenary Queen class (legendary-tier) - She’s the guild master of the Red Mercenaries guild, 1 of the top 3 guilds in the Holy Empire. Her tendency is Unpredictable Innovator. - One of her titles is Blood Crazed Madam. - The top 3 guilds in the Holy Empire: - Blue, Red Mercenaries and Black Swans. - Heera offers a huge contract amount but only wants ML and Hayan. ML politely declines on the basis that the 4 of them want to stick together. Heera kisses ML in front of Hayan and gives him a mana pendant (rare-tier) that will increase his mana. - ML meets the Blue executives again to renegotiate the contract. Among the extra benefits, Lee Sanghee offers an executive position for ML as the team leader of a new non-combative administrative section. Lee Seolho is outraged and uses force to threaten ML. It’s clear to ML that Seolho just wants to protect his own position and political power. ML exposes the fact that their guild master Joo Seungjoon is absent. - ML lies about his relationship with Cha Heera to use her power against the weakened Blue guild. He visits Heera and asks her to become the sponsor of his party. After some discussion, she agrees to the terms of 3% from the potion profits ML makes, and a list of promising new mages and close combat fighters. She decides on the protection method for ML’s party by giving ML the title of the Mercenary Queen’s lover. - The other survivors are gathered and Jihye is among them. - The survivors try to make HS feel guilty for abandoning them. He apologises and says it’s better to part ways. ML throws a pouch of money as compensation. He’s at L1 with L36 stats. - Inheritance (of memories) complete: - This message seems to occur every time ML revives. - Assimilation rate: seems to decrease as ML evolves? Each time it decreases, it briefly causes pain to ML. - Rubia Rae, necromancer-in-training (L1) - Her mother died when Rubia was born. Her father was Lord of Erast and he was recently murdered by her uncle, her father’s younger brother. Since then Rubia has been on the run. Her uncle became the new Lord Rae of Erast. - 2 x professional mercenaries are looking for Rubia. In ML’s 1st life, they killed her. ML wants to save her. - It takes him up to his 3rd death and 4th revival when he has levelled up enough to successfully kill the mercenaries. - Rubia and ML travel to the nearest town, Yublam. She promises to buy ML some armour and he waits for her outside of the town. After a few days, ML sees 2 x guards dump Rubia’s corpse outside of the town. Before killing the guards, ML finds out she killed herself before the captain of the Yublam guards could sell her. - Disguised with a cloak, ML enters the town and confronts the innkeeper who admits to only notifying the guards about Rubia. When the innkeeper mentions she was to be sold as a slave to the Necron Society, a curse is activated from a snake tattoo and he dies. ML puts on the armour Rubia left behind and heads to the nearest low-level dungeon to grow stronger. - ML clears the small dungeon, “Spectre’s Charnel House” after he kills the boss monster, a giant skeleton. He levels up and will also level up his swordsmanship skill if he trains with his sword. - Rena, an adventurer / thief, enters the dungeon with another woman and a well-equipped man. Rena intends to kill them both and rob the man. - ML warns the party of 3 to leave after taking off his helmet. - The man attacks ML who kills him. The woman is killed by Rena when she tries to run away. Rena introduces herself to ML, and suggests she and ML work together. He asks Rena about the Necron Society but she’s only at a low level in the T&T guild and just knows basic info. - Necron Society: a shadow crime syndicate that’s involved in anything that makes money, ie human trafficking, contract killing, drug manufacture etc. Members have a snake tattoo on their neck. - T&T guild: specialises in intel, assassinations and theft. - A new quest is generated for ML to help Rena become a branch manager of the T&T guild. For 6mths ML works with Rena to kill her contracted assassination targets that she brings to the dungeon. Her targets are wanted criminals that did everything from robbery to rape. Together Rena and ML level up and share the loot. ML’s wisdom stats go up after he finds books by Kevin Ashton. - ML is suddenly overcome by hallucinations after staying at the dungeon for too long. The dungeon is trying to devour his mind. - Reported rumours of a witch / necromancer killing people at this dungeon have brought the Blue Lion Templars to catch her and bring her to trial. In the end, ML and Rena die at the hands of the knights’ leader. When ML revives, it’s just before he lost his mind to the dungeon and the knights arrive. - Marquis Vatienne Pon Reandro, leader of the Blue Lion Templars, and 1 of only 4 swordmasters in the Empire. He carries a white blade called Seraphim. - ML urges Rena to leave the dungeon immediately. - ML learns from Rena that the Blue Lion Templars are 1 of the 2 top knight orders that serve under the Empire. - ML and Rena stop at Yublam to rest and pick up supplies before going to a D-class dungeon that is a cavern full of spiders, Ruins of the Spider’s Vault. - ML confronts a blacksmith who was following them. - The blacksmith made ML’s armour and sold it to Rubia. - The newly appointed Yublam lord and guards are raising spiders in the dungeon. Opium is widespread in Yublam and the townspeople are addicts. Many sold their land and homes to pay for the opium. Anyone who disobeyed or questioned the lord was arrested and taken to the spider dungeon. - The blacksmith gives ML and Rena a flame throwing device to use with Grasmere’s Flame (a potent fire that burns for decades) in the dungeon. ML and Rena were tricked by the blacksmith who gave them a heat resistant powder that didn’t protect them from the fire. - ML dies and revives at the Spectre’s Charnel House dungeon. He goes through the same actions with Rena except when they meet the blacksmith. ML finds out the blacksmith tried to kill them because he knew ML was an undead skeleton. - At the spider dungeon’s entrance, ML knocks out Rena so she won’t get bitten by a spider and poisoned like last time. - He carefully targets the flame to kill the spiders and the guards, including their captain. He coats his sword in the flame and kills the queen spider, the boss monster. After clearing the dungeon, ML obtains a new speed skill and the ruby core of the queen spider. - Rena takes ML to her guild’s branch office. It’s an orphanage where she grew up with her younger sister. - Slime (Lime) is the orphanage headmaster. He’s also a branch manager and appraiser for the T&T guild. - People from another orphanage try to take one of the children who they’d sold to a nobleman but the child ran away. Lime gets rid of the people by melting them in acid from his slime. - Lime arranges a new sword for ML and has his armour repaired. ML politely declines Lime’s invitation to join the T&T guild. For now ML prefers to obtain info through Rena. He wants to prioritise Rena’s promotion within the guild as it would also benefit him. The gold taken from the spider dungeon is used to pay for Rena’s official full membership of the guild. - Amber is a neutral island nation where the guild’s HQ is located. From ML’s first life, Amber was the first target of the Empire in the 9yr war between the Empire and the Freedom Alliance. He finds a book by Kevin Ashton called “Crevice of Time.” ML obtains a new insight skill and his wisdom stats increase. He can now see other people’s stats. - ML is now L23, with his stats at L65. - ML progresses through the rounds by defeating his opponents with minimal bloodshed. Seeing their stats gives ML an advantage. - Tebald Rainolz, ML’s drunk opponent for the quarter finals and a failed knight of the Empire. ML can’t see his details or stats because Tebald is at a higher level than ML. - When ML mentions Marquis Reandro during the match, Tebald is furious at hearing the name of the person that he blames for his fall as an Empire knight. He withdraws from the match and tells ML that sword Qi is needed to become an Empire knight and to defeat Marquis Reandro. - Semi-finals: Crestin the Hellraiser Barbarian, a wandering gladiator and ML’s opponent. Crestin’s helmet is knocked off by ML during the match to reveal Crestin is a woman. - Her real name is Christina de Bruiser. ML agrees to continue with the match but suggests to Christina that she should forfeit. Her berserker class is awakened which increases her power. ML faces her with his speed skill. Rather than fight to the death, ML collapses on purpose and forfeits the match. - For the next few months, ML and Rena focus on clearing dungeons. Rena needs to go to the eastern branch office of the guild to pass a simple test to get a recommendation letter for her promotion to branch manager. - ML accepts a request to neutralise a goblin dungeon. - The Necron Society have enslaved the goblins to mine the dungeon for its valuable minerals. At first ML is mistaken for a supervisor they were expecting. His cover is quickly blown and he kills about 20 men who attacked him. - Deeper in the dungeon ML finds the goblin leader, a hobgoblin, tied up and being tortured by some guards. - The guards attack ML and he kills them. He frees the hobgoblin. The real supervisor arrives and shoots an arrow at the hobgoblin’s son. This hobgoblin is usually a pacifist but he becomes enraged with killing intent when he sees his injured son. The real supervisor is killed by the hobgoblin. - ML is given a hidden quest to calm down the hobgoblin, who is the hidden boss of the dungeon. ML knocks down and firmly holds the hobgoblin until he returns to his senses. ML is rewarded with the lifelong loyalty of the hobgoblin and a heroic reputation among the goblin race. ML warns the goblin tribe to leave this dungeon and hide far away as a war is coming soon. - The hobgoblin insists on another reward for ML. He shares the secret of the goblin race that there’s a sole goblin mage called Mudcash. This mage used space distortion magic to create a pouch that can contain an endless number of items. Mudcash is hiding in the eastern mountains. The hobgoblin teaches ML the secret code to alert Mudcash in the mountains if ML decides to find the mage. - The last condition for Rena to pass the guild test to become a branch manager is to bring ML to meet the guild. - Righteous King Purson, demon lord of thunder. - Grotesque Duke Botis, another demon lord. - On the night of a full moon, Rena takes ML to some ancient ruins with a sacrificial altar in the centre. It seems the T&T guild worship Purson. ML realises the Necron Society must worship Botis whose symbol is the snake mark. - Members of the guild emerge and ML is addressed by Ratrik A’ejar, the 3rd ranked director of the guild HQ. - The guild wants to take vengeance against the human race and bring about the end of mankind. The blood sacrifice of a great war is needed for Purson to descend and cleanse the world of humans and their cruelty. Ratrik himself is from the deer people whose horns are used by humans for medicine. He invites ML to join the guild to create a new world. - The guild investigated ML and was greatly impressed by his achievements over the past year since he was first summoned. - The guild intends to prolong the war between the Empire and the Freedom Alliance. By intensifying their animosity, the guild wants many more human lives to be lost. - Ratrik and the guild executives reveal their true forms. - They consist of many different non-human races. - Ratrik also demonstrates some of the power gained through Purson’s blessing. - ML declines to join their cause as Purson’s pawn. - He knows the demon lords are defeated in the end. - Rena also declines as she wants to stay with ML. - Since ML and Rena know too much, Slime kills them both. - ML revives back at the Spectre’s Charnel House dungeon. - His accumulated memories, experiences, skills and stats remain intact. He decides to part ways with Rena to avoid the T&T guild. ( from ch 47 on ) - ML is captured by Gizreia, a powerful necromancer who removes all of his armour. She tests and examines him to amuse herself. After she grafted some of her bone to his skull, he obtains a new Essence Absorption skill. He can absorb the stats and skills of his opponents. Gizreia binds ML with a spell that makes them remain within 100m of eachother. - Gizreia was a member of the Red Flake guild, an order of assassins. They received a request from the Freedom Alliance to assassinate Emperor Elton Clemence. All in the guild but Gizreia declined the request. She quit the guild and accepted the request on her own. Gizreia is waiting at the Barren Catacombs dungeon for the Emperor who is due to visit the area in a few days. He will audit the southern lands and meet with the newly appointed lords. - Gizreia prepares a trap for the Emperor. She has her undead forces in the catacombs dig underground and create a huge pit hidden under the main road in the area. When the Emperor’s entourage arrive, they fall into the pit as the undead supporting the road crumple. The imperial knights and their captain Isabelle Simon are all killed by the undead army led by 5 headless knights. Gizreia herself kills the imperial mages. - Gizreia resurrects those who died to join her undead forces. Then she kills the Emperor after confirming the blood matches (but it’s actually a fake puppet of the Emperor). This seems to activate a spell and a rift appears. - A god-like knight comes through the rift and wipes out the headless knights. Then he kills Gizreia and the rest of her large undead army in one massive blow. - For some reason, ML can't be harmed or destroyed by the god-like knight. He returns through the rift which then closes up. - The essence rises from everyone who died. ML absorbs it from Gizreia, Isabelle and the others until it reaches capacity. - Before leaving, ML takes Isabelle’s mithril armour and sword. - Reandro pursues ML from a tracking spell on the armour. - ML tests his new Bone Monarch skill and awakens the corpse of a wolf cub caught in a trap. The undead wolf cub leads ML to an empty hunter’s cabin. ML finds a book on trolls by Kevin Ashton. Reandro arrives and knocks out ML. Disarmed and naked, ML is tied up while Reandro waits to see if anyone comes to save ML. - Elwin Esau the Summoning Nun is from the Red Flake guild. Her codename is Starlight Blue Fox. She attacks Reandro and thinks he died after an explosion left a pool of blood. She is there to confirm the assassination of the Emperor. As ML is the only survivor, he’ll receive the reward for the completed request. She found ML by detecting Gizreia’s essence in him. - Elwin and ML leave on a hybrid beetle motorbike that can fly. - Reandro hid himself in the pool of blood from his horse who died to protect him. Reandro goes after Elwin. After crossing a desolate wasteland called the Crimson Marsh, Elwin and ML board a ship heading for Amber. Reandro suddenly appears on the ship when they’re in the middle of the ocean. - Reandro refuses to listen to Elwin as he’s convinced she killed the Emperor and his entourage. Reandro splits the ship in half with his sword. His actions awaken the Kraken. Elwin, ML and Reandro end up in the Kraken’s stomach. Elwin and Reandro kill each other. The internal damage also kills the Kraken. Before ML is melted completely by the stomach acid, he absorbs the essences of Elwin, Reandro and the Kraken. - ML revives back again with Rena at the Spectre’s Charnel House dungeon. He tests out some of the new skills he absorbed. He is grateful to Gizreia for the Essence Absorption skill and now he wants to protect her along with Rubia, Rena and Mistress Succubus. - ML parts with Rena again and he tries to save Gizreia but is unable to. He can absorb the essence of the imperial mages this time which gives him a new Meditation skill. ML hopes through meditation and sword training he’ll attain enlightenment to use his new sword Qi skill. - ML promises to meet up with Rena in the city of Grasmere. It’s famous as the weapon capital of the Empire. The residents are descendants of highly skilled blacksmiths. The quality steel and weaponry produced in Grasmere is always in high demand. - Jinnei Yube is head of the Jinnei family and a member of the Merchant Alliance. Jinnei chats with ML and gives ML a card as he finds ML interesting. Jinnei tells ML if he collects 5 cards he will receive special privileges from the Merchant Alliance. ( missing chapter? ) - ML has a duel with the young master of House Chandler, the ruling family of Grasmere. Master Chandler is defeated and wants to duel again but only backs down when ML shows his sword Qi. ML and Rena hear from Master Chandler that for the last 300yrs his family have been under the control of Isaac, a powerful mage and High Priest of Malpas. - When the heir of the family turns 25yo, they provide their life force to Isaac for the rest of their lives. Master Chandler turns 25yo soon and he asks for ML’s help to defeat Isaac. - The Merchant Alliance obtained the blueprints of the steel golems created to protect Isaac. A substance known as “roux rhume” or apostles’ blood is used to empower inanimate objects with magic. - Rena shows ML the T&T guild’s rule book that was written by the guild’s co-founder 300yrs ago. It mentions the one who brings “roux rhume” will immediately be made a branch manager. - Master Chandler defeated Christina in the Erast tournament and she became a knight under him. - ML, Rena and Christina follow Master Chandler to a secret passage that leads to the basement of Chandler castle where Isaac lies. Master Chandler’s blood is used to open the doors to a room with 6 steel golems. They activate when they detect the presence of more than one person. - ML gets the others to distract 3 golems while he takes care of 3 other golems by himself. Earlier ML identified from the blueprints that the joints are the golems’ weak points. ML coats his sword with acid and slices through the steel golems. He defeats all of them. He collects the “roux rhume” liquid from a golem and gives it to Rena. - In the next room, Master Chandler uses a Grasmere’s Flame device to destroy Isaac’s coffin. ML is secretly possessed by Isaac’s soul. Lord Herbert Chandler, the young master’s father, is hypnotised by Isaac (as ML). Herbert signs over everything to ML and gives ML the Chandler family amulet. - Isaac carves ML’s arm bones and pours the apostles’ blood into them. Isaac can now cast magic with ML’s body. Isaac visits ML’s grave and casts a spell to seal ML’s soul in the amulet. - The spell is denied and Isaac is sealed in the amulet instead. - To stop Rena from destroying the amulet, Isaac promises to get more apostles’ blood for her. He directs ML and Rena to an old temple Isaac built to Malpas, the crow demon lord. - Inside the temple are the skeletons of Isaac’s followers, hung upside down from the ceiling. Isaac recognises the marks on the floor underneath them relate to Purson. They were tortured as part of a ritual sacrifice to Purson. They are introduced to guild members who are loyal to Tropin. Purson’s followers have infiltrated the guild over the years and most members don’t know Tropin is still alive. Rena gives the amulet with Isaac’s soul to a guild mage to experiment on. - The apostles’ blood ML and Rena brought is more than enough to qualify Rena for branch manager. They hold a ceremony and Rena is entrusted with the 7th imperial branch. ML’s quest to help Rena is now completed. Tropin invites ML to join the guild but he’s reluctant. Rena knows ML will leave her now that she’s attained the branch manager position. ML decides to tell her about his past lives with her. She believes him as she’s been dreaming of memories from these past lives. - Rena gives her mother’s pendant to ML. It has a Correct Judgement / Escape Danger ability. - ML offers to save Rena’s little sister from the orphanage run by Lime. As he waits for the right time to approach, he sees a grand funeral procession for Reandro. - After the death of Isabelle, Reandro killed himself. - ML can sense no body in the coffin. He suspects the suicide is a cover up for the real cause of death. - Riley, a loyal subordinate of Reandro, confronts ML who looked suspicious. ML uses his Masquerade skill to give his face a human appearance that resembles someone he’s met. ML resembles Reandro so he pretends to be a secret relative. - Riley brings ML to where Reandro’s body was taken. - It’s a breeding farm for strange grubs that feed on corpses. - They find Reandro’s body in the cold storage room. His neck and heart have been pierced through. ML stands watch outside while Riley prepares to take care of the Reandro’s body. Riley is killed by a giant Dawn-Eater serpent. ML’s pendant warned him of danger so ML hides until the serpent leaves. - Some men arrive with the snake mark of the Necron Society. ML overhears them say the grubs are being bred for an upcoming war. ML kills the men and confirms Riley is dead. ML absorbs essence from Reandro and Riley. ML’s stats increase and his sword, detection and stealth skills are upgraded. - ML meets Rena’s little sister and takes her to Grasmere to wait for Rena. Imperial soldiers led by a Baron have arrived at Grasmere to prepare for the war. The young master is now Lord Chandler as his father retired. Rena’s little sister is left in Lord Chandler’s care. ML is suspicious of the Baron and follows him at night to a guarded tent in the city. - ML goes back to report this to Lord Chandler but finds everyone has been killed. He sees an adult grub devouring Lord Chandler. The grub can take on the appearance and abilities of the person it consumes. ML kills the grub but masked assassins called Ghosts arrive. ML runs to the basement and finds a hidden chamber that reacts to his bone carvings. - Suddenly a cross-dressing Duke who is the head of the imperial intelligence agency enters with explosive force. The assassins are killed and ML’s pendant disintegrates in the presence of the Duke. ML kills himself before the Duke can. - ML revives back when Rubia first summoned him. All of his skills, including the magic carved in his bones remain. ML easily kills the 2 mercenaries who were after Rubia. - ML has a new quest to help Rubia become the Erast Lord and attain L10 governance. - ML uses his high level stealth to become invisible while shadowing Rubia as she returns to Erast. She’s confronted by her uncle and his soldiers. ML kills the soldiers using only rocks. The soldiers loyal to Rubia take her uncle away. - Rubia holds a meeting with the ministers and demonstrates excellent leadership and sound judgement. - ML puts on a suit of armour and visits Rubia’s uncle in his prison cell. ML wants to obtain more info from him but he’s killed by the Ghosts that were at Grasmere in ML’s last life. - ML learns the Ghosts are part of the imperial secret service. Their orders were to stay in Erast for 1yr and to deal with anything suspicious. They kill ML and he revives back when Rubia summoned him. - Servant System: gives buffs to ML from his master Rubia. - ML decides to get Rubia away from Erast for now, to avoid the Ghosts and Rubia being replaced by a grub. They go to Yublam and Rubia buys armour for ML from the blacksmith. ML steals the Grasmere’s Flame device. - At the inn, Rubia falls asleep after being drugged from the food. ML takes care of the men who came to get her and the innkeeper. ML discovers a hidden basement in the inn that’s setup as a torture chamber. While Rubia sleeps, ML clears the spider dungeon. - The captain of the guards told ML about some gold bars that were buried near the dungeon entrance. ML finds the gold and also a card for the Merchant Alliance. ML and Rubia leave for Grasmere. On the way ML frees the wolf cub from the trap. At Grasmere, ML and Rubia go to an inn and ask for Jinnei Yube. - Upon meeting Jinnei, ML shows his sword Qi skill to prove his worth. Jinnei agrees to protect Rubia for a few days and he won’t accept payment. - ML goes to Chandler castle and convinces Lord Herbert that ML will free the Chandler family from the mage Isaac. - ML goes down to the basement and uses Grasmere’s Flame device to burn the coffin. ML is possessed by Isaac again but is able to resist full possession this time. - ML learns from Isaac that the door at the end of the hidden chamber leads to the demon world. - ML leaves the castle and returns to Rubia. She gives a book to ML after she asked the Merchant Alliance to find books by Kevin Ashton. ML mentioned to her that he wanted to read all of the works by this author. Isaac asks ML what he knows of Kevin Ashton. ML explains the status window that appears when his stats increase after reading a book by Kevin Ashton. - Isaac has a theory that this world is a barrier, but he can't prove it. Kevin Ashton wrote about the world having owners and guests. A special blue window appears just for guests. - Kevin Ashton called this window, “the hole in the blue sky.” - Isaac wants to use ML as a compass to acquire the power that Kevin Ashton has laid out. In the process ML will obtain unimaginable power. Isaac transfers his soul to ML’s sword to prove he’s not deceiving ML. - Rubia and ML choose items from the huge selection at Chandler castle. Rubia chooses a pendant that will lightly erase her presence. Isaac tells ML to choose a titan sniper gun, a product of magic engineering that needs apostles’ blood to operate. - Isaac directs ML to open a secret room in the castle with a crow doll on a pedestal. Isaac transfers his soul to the crow. He needs apostles’ blood to sustain this form. Rubia is worried about Isaac as the soul weakens if it’s moved constantly. - The book Rubia gave to ML is written in rune language, which is only permitted for use among mages. Rubia seems to have a natural ability with languages. She reads the book to ML. - The book mentions the titans, massive iron machines controlled by the Freedom Alliance. One’s wavelength needs to match the wavelength of the titan in order to pilot it. - ML, Rubia and Isaac travel to the old Malpas temple. - ML opens the hidden part of the wall but all of the bottles are empty. Apostles’ blood never changes except when it’s used as a conduit for changing the world. ML wonders if the apostle’ blood given to the T&T guild in his past life is why it disappeared from this temple. - ML learns from Isaac that the most amounts of apostles’ blood are held by the imperial family. Apostles’ blood is the source and foundation of the imperial family’s power. The 1st Emperor killed the apostles and took their blood. It’s hidden in a secret place within the imperial palace. - Isaac mentions the blue window that ML sees. Rubia reveals she can also see a blue status window since she was a child. Isaac hopes to also gain the power to see the blue window. - Isaac leads ML and Rubia to a place where Kevin Ashton’s remains are kept. There might be apostles’ blood there. - This is also a holy place for dark elves. When they arrive, all of the dark elves are dead. - They enter a room with the remains. The bodies of the dark elves in the room awaken as undead and attack. ML kills all of them. A being emerges to attack ML. Isaac calls it an “apostle’s fragment.” The being grows to a monstrous size after ML managed to cut it. The being has apostles’ blood. - ML’s assimilation rate decreases & an output code is released? - Suddenly ML can clearly see the weak parts of the being and he strikes, slicing it into pieces. It seems familiar, like he’s done this before. ML tells Isaac to stop the apostles’ blood from running away. Isaac casts a spell to dispel the being’s spirit? - ML is notified by the status windows that his shroud of memory will be deleted and his assimilation rate is frozen. ML faints from a strong mentally suppressing power. - ML wakes up after Rubia carved ML’s body under the instructions of Isaac. The apostles’ blood from the dead being was poured over the carvings. ML can now use multiple magic skills with much less burden on his body. After ML absorbs the essence from the being, he qualifies for a job upgrade to a swordsman, hunter or knight. He needs more apostles’ blood to finalise the job class change. - Lamplight Dahliac: known as a neutral territory and peace zone for assassins. Good intel can be bought here. - ML arrives with Rubia and Isaac. ML wants to know where he can find apostles’ blood but this type of high level info is sold to the highest bidder at auction. The intel broker warns ML that there’s a wanted order for him. - As ML leaves, he’s kidnapped by Tropin Nanyawoo, Sharunian the prophet and Rena. After he’s chained up physically and with a spell, Rena questions him on her own. - In this life, Rena is the T&T guild’s 3rd general manager and her stats are much higher. Rena wants to know why ML keeps appearing in her dreams. ML decides not to tell this version of Rena the truth. He says she must be mistaken as he doesn’t know how to influence dreams and he knows of her because she’s famous. - Trusting their affinity from her dreams, Rena sets ML free. - To find out the competitors in the auction, Rubia spreads a rumour among the shopkeepers that she’s seen a white rainbow. There’s a saying that apostles’ blood will be found where a white rainbow appears. - Rena turns out to be the competitor for info on apostles’ blood. She says she’ll let ML be the winner of the auction. ML obtains the info and says they need to travel across the western desert to the Temple of Yemera. - Isaac removes a magic tracking device from ML that Rena secretly placed on him earlier. Isaac puts the device on a random horse instead. Across the desert, they join a merchant caravan. Rena still managed to follow them and helps to fight the bandits that surround the caravan. A horn is used to summon a massive ash worm, the desert god. With Rena’s help, ML slices the monster to pieces. - Rewards store and purchasing power: - These are new options that appear in the status window. ML can accumulate points from killing monsters to increase his purchasing power and obtain better rewards from the store. - Rena wanted to warn ML when she saw where he was heading. She’s impressed with his fighting skills. She gives her mother’s pendant to him and hopes to meet again in the capital. Her guild plans to steal the apostles’ blood from the imperial palace. He hid from the goddesses in the basement of Chandler castle. Rubia correctly answers all of the riddles asked by Wadulus. Only Rubia is allowed to enter the temple. - ML tries to run away with Rubia. Isaac casts a temporary sleep spell on Wadulus. Isaac directs ML to a hidden passage that leads to a large cave filled with gold and jewels. - These are all of the penance fees paid to the temple that have accumulated over time. - The statue of Yemera holds the apostles’ blood. Isaac pecks the eyes from the statue and the blood flows out. ML absorbs the apostles’ blood but it’s still not enough for his job upgrade. - ML heads to the capital to meet Rena and help steal the apostles’ blood from the imperial family. - Lumen Baldov, a young werewolf & Red Flake guild member. - Suns of Lindurm: refers to dragons. - Rubia makes Isaac cough up all of the gold and jewels he swallowed at Yemera’s temple. She tries to sell the jewels at a jewellery store. - The rare gems catch the attention of Baresy Blackberry, the jewellery store manager and a member of the Merchant Alliance. ML receives a 2nd card from them. Baresy arranges for them to stay in a luxury inn for free. Young Lady Ivot invites Rubia to a tea party as she was impressed by Rubia at the jewellery store. - ML meets Rena and she confirms with him that her dreams are memories from her past lives. She tells him about the plans of the T&T guild after he agrees to a magic pledge of secrecy. - A convoy will take the underground passageway to transport the apostles’ blood elsewhere. The convoy will be escorted by Ghosts. Rena’s guild will fill the passage with sleeping gas and intercept the convoy. ML’s role is to stall the convoy to get the timing right. - Rena provides fake identities for ML and Rubia. - Rubia uses the fake identity to attend the tea party. - House Ivot is one of the founding families of the Empire. - Lady Ivot uses Rubia to insult another guest, Lady Reid-Baren. Rubia agrees to play along after Lady Ivot grants her access to the Ivot family library. Later Lady Ivot explains her family opposes the war and is under pressure from the imperial family and other nobles. The Reid-Baren family support the war. - Lady Reid-Baren returns with 2 soldiers. She offers a chance for Rubia to testify against the Ivot family and the tea party incident will be overlooked. Rubia refuses and manages to protect herself from the soldiers’ attack. ML finds out that Rubia can share some of his stats through the Servant System. - From the Ivot family library, there are 20 volumes on national history by Kevin Ashton. After going through all of them, ML knows these books are fakes. - Rena fetches ML as the time was pushed up earlier for the plan. ML stalls the convoy and the sleeping gas knocks out the knights and Ghosts. An explosion makes the floor give way. - Tropin, Rena and ML are about to check the chest when a rift opens and the god-like knight appears. Tropin attacks but is devoured by the knight. ML tries to make Rena run away while he faces the knight. - The knight kills Rena and ML is pulled through the rift. - Everything in the confined space disintegrates except for ML’s naked body. One day the barrier is broken by Isaac to rescue ML. Isaac says it’s been 2yrs since ML was gone and they’re in the eastern mountains. The war between the Empire and the Freedom Alliance has already begun. - The Ivot family were uncovered as spies for the T&T guild and were destroyed by the imperial family for treason. Most of the guild members in the capital were killed. - Rubia was sentenced for collaborating with traitors and devil worship. She’s imprisoned for life at the Magic Tower of Azura. The mages were curious about her strength and wanted to conduct experiments on her. ML wants to rescue Rubia ASAP. - ML makes a contract with Malpas to grow stronger. ML kills over 1000 soldiers from the Empire and the Freedom Alliance. Their blood is offered to Malpas in a ritual by Isaac. - The ritual is a success and both Isaac and ML are stronger with the power of Malpas. ML obtains Darkness and Charm, privileged skills from Malpas. - The place of their blood offering was originally an altar to Purson. The non-human followers of Purson surround ML but he defeats them easily with his new power. - ML absorbs their essence. - ML calls out the secret code to summon Mudcash the goblin mage in the eastern mountains. ML is attacked by Brody Baldov, a werewolf and follower of Purson. ML defeats Brody who changes to his human form. - ML mentions Lumen and Brody says he’s looking for him. - ML offers to find more info on Lumen if Brody helps ML rescue Rubia. Brody agrees and Isaac changes Brody’s contract to Malpas. - The war is currently at an impasse. To force the Empire to call out the mages from the Tower of Azura, ML and Brody wipe out a few companies from the imperial army. - Senator Karin Crexol of the Freedom Alliance - Louise Claude, Karin’s aide. She rescued her from an orphanage when they were both children. - Karin sends Louise on a mission to find the one who is killing the imperial soldiers and bring them to her side. - Louise finds ML and invites him to speak with Karin. - Under Isaac’s advice, ML will help Karin if she gives him apostles’ blood and full command over her army. Karin is interested to see how ML handles the art of war and she agrees. - 2mths later, ML and Isaac achieve victories against the imperial army and raid the imperial supply depots. He lets Karin take all of the credit for pushing back the imperial army. - Count Anedal Oscar, 1st imperial commander. He’s a veteran cavalryman who has seen many battles. - Marquis Reid-Baren, the inquisitor who sentenced Rubia. He’s the imperial commander-in-chief. - The allied forces need to conquer the Red Fox Plains to enter the capital. Under Isaac’s strategy, the allied soldiers appear to lose to the imperial army. Then the allied forces ambush the imperial army on both sides. ML enters the battlefield to look for the commanders. - On the battlefield, ML sees a strong mercenary knight is protecting Rubia’s uncle. An allied soldier kills the knight while ML is fighting them. ML learns the knight was Christina who must’ve won the tournament and was hired by the Erast lord. - Before ML can kill Rubia’s uncle, Count Oscar spears him through for trying to run away. ML fights the Count and realises he’s the most skilled fighter of the entire imperial army. - In the end ML kills the Count. Marquis Reid-Baren is left after calling for a retreat. ML sees the snake tattoo on the Marquis’ neck and asks about the Necron Society. - The Marquis tries to recruit ML but the snake tattoo activates and the Marquis’ body becomes a fragment of Botis. ML kills the fragment. The head of the Marquis is shown to the imperial army who are told to surrender. - As a reward, Karin gives ML a gold beetle that’s a key to a door her family for 3 generations has been searching for. - The mages from the Azura Tower are on their way to attack the allied forces. ML wants to go to the tower right away to rescue Rubia. Isaac admits to ML that Rubia died 2yrs ago. - When Rubia was being transported to the tower, Isaac spoke with her. She asked Isaac to find ML. Isaac killed Rubia with a spell that let her die in her sleep so she would avoid the terrible experiments from the mages. ML says killing all of those people and making a contract with Malpas has been a waste of time, when he could just restart. ML tells Isaac to leave or else ML will kill him. - ML tells Brody to look for his son Lumen who is probably in Amber as a member of the Red Flake guild. - There is no point in going to the tower now. - ML leaves the golden beetle behind and leaves the allied camp. - From a distance, ML sees the allied forces fight the 20 Azura mages. He decides to return to help them and absorb the essence of the mages. ML with the allied forces defeat the mages. - Master Huwain, Tower of Thunder - Master Eland, Tower of Innocence - Eland uses a magic powder that makes the allied soldiers commit suicide. Louise flees with Karin. Huwain stopped ML’s attack and blew away all of ML’s armour to reveal he’s a skeleton. - Isaac comes back in human form and saves ML before Eland can kill ML. Isaac makes Eland kill himself, then Isaac kills Huwain. Because ML can restart his life, Isaac decides to sacrifice himself for ML so he can appear in his human form again. - Isaac heals ML and grants new skills to ML. As his human form disappears, Isaac makes ML hold a sword that pierces Isaac’s crow body. ML levels up after killing Isaac. - ML can’t absorb Isaac’s essence but he absorbs the essence of the tower masters. - ML absorbs the apostles’ blood from Isaac’s body and he can finally change his job class to Skeleton Knight. He can turn his bones into armour and he can summon a skeletal horse. - ML enters the capital and is faced with 30 replicas of Reandro created from the grubs. The cross-dressing Duke commands the replicas to attack ML at once and ML dies. - ML revives back in his grave at Erast. He retains the special skills of the Skeleton Knight. The contract with Malpas is gone. - Rubia isn’t there even though ML revived. This means her necromancy didn’t summon him. Rubia arrives later with 2 of her ministers. She’s fitter with higher stats. She has dreams of her past life memories. - The succession for the Erast Lord remains undecided after the death of Rubia’s father. Reandro has the authority to judge the Rae succession review / title dispute and will visit Erast. - Reandro receives a mission from the cross dressing Duke Laurence Tartier to find the Regent Diamond, known as Ilien’s Tear, that was stolen from the imperial family. - ML decides to not reveal himself to Rubia yet. - He steals armour and Grasmere’s Flame device from the blacksmith in Yublam. Then he gets rid of the corrupt Yublam guards and the innkeeper. ML also clears the spider dungeon. - ML commissions Jinnei Yube to secretly support Rubia in the title dispute and keep her uncle in check. Jinnei refers ML to a wandering knight that’s training in the mountains as a possible bodyguard for Rubia. - ML finds the wandering knight and it’s Christina. ML challenges her to spar with him again and again. He guides her and helps her to regain her self confidence. ML gives her the gold he took from the spider dungeon. He tells Christina to buy some good equipment, then give the rest of the gold to Rubia and ask Rubia to hire her. - ML goes to Dahliac and sees Tropin Nanyawoo with Sharunian. ML is surprised as he thought the god-like knight absorbed the apostles’ blood from Tropin. He gives himself up to them and is taken to see Rena. ML tells Rena everything about their past lives. She believes him because of her dreams. ML wants to support Rubia in the title dispute. Rena says Reandro won’t be going as he’s been assigned to other missions. - Rena says the one most likely to be sent to Erast is an honorary Duke called Vibiro. Not much is known about him. His title was granted by the Emperor. He’s a philanthropist who often does charity work in the slums of the capital. - ML uses his stealth skill to observe Vibiro and sees no snake mark on his neck. ML follows him into a stormwater pipe which opens to a huge chamber. - Vibiro suddenly disappears and ML is attacked by the giant Dawn-Eater serpent. Vibiro is actually the 1st Priest of Botis and transformed into the serpent. The snake mark is only used on slaves of Botis. Vibiro is impressed with ML’s skills. - Vibiro shows ML a secret underground space that holds living humans who have been modified by Vibiro into objects as his masterpieces. He believes humans were created to suffer and experience pain. - ML decides to get closer to Vibiro to find out more about the Necron Society. Vibiro will grant power to ML and make Rubia the lord of Erast if ML passes a test. ML must find Reandro’s weakness to become Vibiro’s ally. - ML receives the temporary power of concealment from Botis. Vibiro confirms the Ghosts borrow the power of Botis. - ML finds out that Reandro gave a token made of wire to Isabelle and told her to only trust those who show this token. - Smooth Scorpions, a thieves guild. - Duke Laurence gave Reandro a hint on who took the diamond. It was Riley who stole it. In ML’s past life, Reandro raided the Smooth Scorpions’ hideout but he spared and took in Riley. - ML’s mind becomes corrupted under the power of Botis. - ML enters the hideout and kills Riley. ML also kills some of the Blue Lions who were searching the hideout under Reandro. - ML takes the diamond to Vibiro who seals and hides it. - Reandro arrives to search Vibiro’s house. The token given to Isabelle is recreated by Vibiro who shows it to Reandro. - ML remains to observe Reandro while Vibiro travels to Erast. Vibiro promises to grant power to Rubia. Reandro detects complicated magic barriers in the house that distort space. He is stopped from investigating further as the case has been transferred to Duke Laurence. - ML goes to Erast to see Rubia who is the new lord. - Vibiro modified Rubia with monstrous hidden features to protect herself. Christina and the loyal ministers are nowhere to be found. Before ML’s mind succumbs to Vibiro’s control, ML kills himself. - ML revives in his grave. He obtains an Anti-Enchantment skill after resisting the mind corruption of Botis. - ML is determined to continue striving and make up for his previous mistakes to create the future he wants. - ML repeats his actions in Yublam and the spider dungeon from his last life. Again ML meets Jinnei Yube and Christina. - At the Chandler castle in Grasmere, ML takes the crow doll with him to the basement and places it before Isaac’s coffin. - ML uses his masquerade skill to temporarily assume Isaac’s face. ML burns the coffin and Isaac’s soul possesses the crow doll. ML makes Isaac promise to never lie or try to use him. - ML tells Isaac about his past lives. The previous Isaac who sacrificed himself hoped to be revived like ML with his memories intact, but that wasn’t the case. Those who have scenarios like Rubia and Rena seem to be the only other ones who inherit their past life memories through dreams. - ML’s goal is to know more about the world and someday go beyond the status windows. He has many unanswered questions. - ML takes Isaac to the empty hunter’s cabin in the forest. - The book on trolls by Kevin Ashton is there. It has an instruction: “Contact the broken pieces” and the number has increased to 3 out of 7. - ML and Isaac deduce this to mean ML needs to meet the Red Flake guild members. ML will arrange this through Gizreia. - In the meantime, Isaac will help ML with ensuring Rubia becomes the new Erast Lord. They go to Dahliac and ML again allows himself to be taken to Rena. To gather more allies, ML tells everything to Rena and Tropin. They believe him as he knows secret details about the T&T guild. They are also grateful for the extra intel on the imperial family and apostles’ blood. - Rena agrees to help ML keep Reandros and Vibiro in check by letting Reandros know where the diamond is and where Vibiro’s underground space is. She’ll also help him with Rubia. - Isaac takes ML to another hidden passage in the basement of the Chandler castle. 1000yrs ago, a tunnel network was created to escape from the apostles. The tunnels connect the 6 cities of Grasmere, Erast, Yublam, Erendale, Davenhall, and Colchester. The last 2 cities were destroyed when Yemera the goddess of repentance turned the western region into a desert. - The tunnel to Erast leads to the library. ML meets Rubia and she’s pleased to see him as she retained her past life memories through dreams. It’s by a historian who recorded the imperial family geneology by their hair colour. Someone altered pages in the book. It suggests the current imperial family might not be related to the original lineage. - Rubia found some notepaper tucked between the books that has a simple spell to summon an undead being. When ML looks over it, the text disappears. Isaac says it fulfilled it’s purpose. - Isaac was cursed by the 3 goddesses because he tried to break into the realm where the rules of the world are preserved. - After reading the spell, ML’s intelligence goes up. He suspects the spell was written by Kevin Ashton. - Rubia wants to use her own efforts to kill her uncle and drive out the Ghosts. She’ll call for ML’s help if needed. - ML and Isaac go to the goblin dungeon. ML clears it and frees the goblin slaves. - The hobgoblin leader is under a hypnosis spell that has 3 activation levels. After no success in the eastern mountains, the hobgoblin says to try the western desert. Isaac casts a spell that forces the hypnotised hobgoblin to think ML has revived again. - ML says the western desert was also a bust. The hobgoblin digs up a coin under a boulder and gives it to ML. - ML must place the coin in the air to be enlightened with the wisdom of the mage Mudcash. - ML recalls a strange transparent window that appeared midair after Gizreia died and the god-like knight disappeared. He places the coin midair into an inventory space he’s envisioned and ML is notified that he’s cleared the hidden “Inventory” quest. He now has access to an inventory subspace. - Rena secretly makes contact with Rubia. Rena is Rubia’s representative when she meets with Jinnei Yube and old Lord Chandler. Together they plan to elevate Rubia to the Lord of Erast without arousing the suspicions of the imperial family. - ML and Isaac visit Kirn Bay to obtain support from another member of the Merchant Alliance. Imperial customs officials begin a surprise raid on the ships in the port. - Captain Nexmond prepares to fight the officials and sacrifice his life. He is smuggling body augmentation technology that is forbidden under imperial law. ML hides the tech in his inventory and lets the officials search the ship. When they find nothing, ML blows up their temporary base to distract them. - On board the ship after it has set sail, ML reveals himself and his inventory to Captain Nexmond. ML is invited to join as a full member of the Merchant Alliance, who want to destroy the imperial family. The Merchant Alliance want a social revolution that establishes a network of commerce. To achieve their goals, they recruit worthy individuals regardless of their specialisation. - ML warns Nexmond that Gizreia will fail and a long war will ensue. After the bloodshed, the demon lords will descend. - ML plans to oppose the imperial family from the southern part of the empire. Rubia Rae will be the central figure of the southern coalition. ML asks the Merchant Alliance to support Rubia. - ML hears about a jousting tournament that will take place in Grasmere. He visits old Lord Chandler and learns that this tournament to determine the Lord of Erast was Rubia’s idea. It’s a way to give the people faith in Rubia’s ability to protect Erast. - Christina is injured on the way to Grasmere. Rubia will participate in the tournament instead of her proxy. She challenges her uncle to do the same. - Despite her weak and awful technique, Rubia wins against her uncle. He dies after falling from his horse. Rubia’s conviction captures the hearts of the people. Her governance level rises. Rubia becomes the Lord by her own strength. The imperial family recognises the tournament as a legitimate succession method and acknowledges Rubia as the Erast Lord. - Rubia borrows soldiers from Grasmere to remove the Necron Society members and the drug trade from Yublam. - She forms a coalition between Erast, Yublam and Grasmere. To help grow trade in the south, ML approaches the Merchant Alliance. Baresy Blackberry, Jinnei Yube and Captain Nexmond meet with Rubia to establish trade routes and link with other provinces. - ML receives a message from Rena and he meets her with Tropin in the capital. They’ve heard that Duke Laurence was given an ultimatum by Vibiro. Either kill Reandro or lose the protection of Botis. ML wants to save Reandro and insists on meeting him alone. - Before the meeting, Tropin takes ML to her secret research lab. She gives him a bottle of apostles’ blood and asks to see him absorb some of it. She takes notes for her research. He stores the bottle in his inventory to give to Isaac later. - Tropin shows ML a book called Unresolved Pain by Kevin Ashton. On the back cover is an infinity symbol with apostles’ blood in it. The book tells the story of the time before the founding of the Empire. The 1st Emperor Saeron killed the monsters and saved humanity. The last monster that was the strongest and most terrible remains undergound in the 1st city, which is where the imperial palace is now. - The meeting with Reandro doesn’t go well. He just sees ML as a monster. ML tries to warn him about Duke Laurence and Vibiro, but Reandro still attacks ML. Tropin intervenes and takes ML away. They meet Rena who says not much is known about Reandro except his paranoid hatred of monsters. - When Reandro was a boy, his mother Tesori was an imperial knight who died dishonourably while pursuing a monster. His household fell into ruin and he had to sell his mother’s wedding ring to pay the remaining servants before letting them go. - His father locked himself in his study until his death 3yrs later. He was researching how to combat monsters. Reandro continued this research while practising his swordsmanship that he’d learnt from his mother. - At 14yo, Reandro awakens his sword Qi from his father’s research. He burns down his family home and leaves with his mother’s sword. He hunts monsters to grow stronger and to earn money. - At 16yo, Reandro becomes an imperial bounty hunter and kills a hippograf that was fighting a horse. Reandro raises the foal that was left behind and names it Miyu. - At 19yo, Reandro visits the Blue Lion Templars as his mother praised them as the best knight order in the Empire. He came to test his strength but is dismayed at the weak nobles who have joined the order just for status promotion. Reandro meets Duke Laurence for the first time and they spar. - The Duke wants to recruit Reandro but lets him go to complete his revenge. Reandro is looking for the monster that killed his mother. The monster Reandro ends up finding had just been born and isn't the one who killed his mother. He decides to eradicate all evil creatures. - Now an inspector under Duke Lawrence 10yrs later, Reandro asks for an investigation into Vibiro and his connection with the Necron Society. Only Duke Laurence as the head of the imperial intelligence agency can investigate Vibiro, an honorary Duke. - If Reandro wants to lead the investigation, he must defeat Duke Laurence in a duel. Tropin hears about the duel and takes ML to it’s location in the secret chamber of the true imperial palace. - Reandro has already deactivated the barriers ahead of them. The secret chamber is like a dungeon with 10 floors. As they progress it seems the chamber was created in preparation for the coming of the demon lords. The chosen ones can hide in the chamber and emerge when it’s safe to rule the world once more. - His horse Miyu followed ML and Tropin. Isaac was resting in ML’s inventory and has assimilated with it. Isaac can now share his power with ML and he teaches ML how to use the inventory’s divine power against a swarm of insectmen. - On the 5th floor, Isaac passes relics to ML for his inventory. - On the 4th floor is a whole section of books by Kevin Ashton. ML puts them all in his inventory. - Reandro meets Duke Laurence on the 3rd floor. The Duke presents a gift for Reandro’s bday, a chimera created using his mother and the monster that killed her. The Duke admits to killing his mother when she got too close to the truth. - In the end Reandro kills Duke Laurence and the chimera. - On the 3rd floor, ML sees the knight who killed Mistress Succubus in ML’s first life. He tries to destroy the canister with the knight’s body but is stopped by Tropin and Isaac. The rows of canisters with unconscious bodies seem to be empty vessels. Tropin and Isaac recognise the names on the canisters as people who disappeared or died 200yrs ago. - Isaac thinks these bodies are for the guests like ML. - It seems the imperial family plan to resurrect the demon lords, then use the guests in the empty vessels to get rid of the demon lords. The subsequent victory, glory and honour will be credited to the imperial family. - The bodies are submerged in liquid containing apostles’ blood. Isaac tells ML that he must return to this floor if he regresses and absorb the apostles’ blood. - Reandro appears and threatens to kill them. - Isaac wants to exchange info with him and they go to the next floor. ML absorbs the essence of the Duke and the chimera. - To gain some trust with Reandro, they give him a healing potion and new armour obtained from the other floors. - Isaac also brings in Miyu to reunite with Reandro. - They go to the next floor and are faced with 11 titans. - Reandro names 8 of them: Defence Secretary Alterion, Gatekeeper Pyro, Treasurer Teres, Imperial Army Chief Argo, Argul of the Flames (mage tower headmaster), Advisor Livretril, Honorary Duke Vibiro, and Querti the 3rd Swordmaster. - The titans are remotely controlled machines. - Isaac identifies the altar as the main target for ML. - While the others are fighting the titans, ML uses the inventory window to pierce the barrier of the altar. The titans collapse. - The god-like knight suddenly appears through a rift. Isaac thinks the role of this knight is to protect causality. - ML changes the inventory window into chains that bind the knight after it kills Reandro. Isaac is boosted by Malpas after offering Reandro’s death as a sacrifice. Isaac transfers power to ML which strengthens the chains around the knight to completely imprison it. - A giant mud monster appears. ML releases the knight to get it to fight the monster, but the knight opens a rift and vanishes. - ML turns his inventory into a barrier for Isaac and Tropin to hide behind. The monster covers ML with mud… - ML dreams of his past life? - ML was a king who killed countless enemies (demons?). - One day he fell in love with the Apostle, one of his opponents? - When he decided not to kill anymore, he was betrayed? - Isaac wakes up ML on the other side of the barrier. - The monster has destroyed everything around it. - Isaac plans to lure the mud monster to destroy the canisters on the other floor. ML summons Miyu’s undead skeleton. They ride Miyu to the canisters with the monster following behind them. - The canisters are broken by the monster and they absorb the apostle’s blood that pours out. - Isaac tries to teleport them but status windows appear. - They’ve been stopped by the higher powers that monitor causality. The bodies of Tropin and Isaac shatter, leaving behind 2 small black orbs. 2 higher beings appear and absorb the orbs to erase Tropin and Isaac from existence. They absorb all of ML’s skills and stats too. - ML revives in his grave at Erast. ML is back to L1 as a skeleton soldier. ML still has his inventory and most of the items stored in there. The world has been reset to a different timeline? - Erast is ruled by the Chandler family now? Rubia is still alive? - ML receives the quest again to help Rubia become the Lord of Erast and attain governance at L10. - ML finds Gizreia and eventually gains her trust. He tells her about the events from his timeline and shows her the items he took from the secret chamber of the imperial palace. She casts a Ritual Bones spell to boost his stats and give him some new skills (ie Bone Tentacles, Essence Absorption). - Gizreia assigns the headless knight Gillaut to ML, which means ML will receive XP from Gillaut during battle. - She tells ML to return stronger. He hopes those he cares about won’t have to die meaninglessly. - They come across a large group of gremlins who serve Murmur. The gremlins are helping some of the demon kings to expand their territory into the human realm so the kings can cross over from the demon realm. The dimensional portal between realms is too small and weak right now. - Gillaut and ML kill the gremlins who try to force them to serve Murmur too. ML levels up. He sees new status windows that notify him of the demon kings’ emotions. Minions of Gaap and Vapula appear. They want to recruit ML and Gillaut. - There’s a sudden disturbance and the 2 minions run away. - ML and Gillaut reach a river and meet an old hobbit captain of a ship that crosses to the demon realm. A mysterious stranger boards the ship with them. The stranger tells ML about “discarded truths.” There are traces of the changing world. The stranger predicts the demon kings will descend in 2yrs.

With it ML can become the master of all shadows. - Temar was the greatest magic swordsman of all time. - The Zipfel clan focuses on magic. As the opposing force, they are arch enemies of the Runcandel clan. - 1000yrs ago: after Temar’s death, the Runcandel clan were forced by the Zipfel clan to make a humiliating covenant that prohibited magic. Due to that covenant, all magic abilities of the Runcandel clan were sealed and the clan could only focus on the blade. - NB: A mirror relic called the Fountain of Mana can raise your mana to 7-star just by looking at it. In ML’s past life, the Zipfels used this relic to mass produce mages. - Luna visits ML for his 9th bday and gives him a pendant to wear. She says to smash the blue gem if he’s ever in a situation he can’t handle, and she’ll find him right away. - The pendant is an item of Orgal the demonic beast king. It gives protection against magic attacks below 5-star. It increases the wearer’s magic ability and it has a summoning ability. - Gilly McRolan, ML’s nanny and a 7-star martial artist. - Runcandel nannies share the fate of the child they’re in charge of. - 10yo ML moves from Storm Castle to the main residence, the Garden of Swords. On the way the 2 escort knights leave the carriage, claiming there is an ambush. ML is suspicious and makes Gilly leave the carriage with him in case it blows up. - ML directs Gilly to find the 2 escort knights as ML suspects the “attackers” are actually his allies. The “attackers” are the Black King Mercenaries and mages from the Yuta clan in Mitel who have come to protect ML following a request from the Runcandel clan. - The 2 escort knights are surrounded. Gilly kills one and severs the arm of the other. They are fake knights and Zipfel followers. - Bouvard Gaston the “Transformer”, a dragon? who can transform perfectly. He caused havoc in ML’s past life by committing many transformation crimes. He is probably responsible for the fake knights fooling Gilly and the other Runcandel guards. - Murka, vice captain of the 3rd corps, Black King Mercenaries. - ML gets Murka and his men to escort him for the rest of the way to the transfer (teleport) gate in the Mitel kingdom. - Murakan changes into a black cat to follow ML. - Beradin Zipfel is a magic prodigy and a strong candidate for the next clan patriarch. His father is Kelliark Zipfel, the current patriarch. ML meets Beradin while waiting for the gate to activate. - Garden of Swords: only those whose achievements have contributed to the prosperity of the Runcandel clan may put down their sword here. It symbolises the dream and honour of all Runcandels. - 14yo ML is a 2-star knight and beginner class cadet. - He currently has 2-star spiritual release and 4-star mana. - Luna is also personally training ML. - Mind’s eye: a stage of enlightenment for 7-star knights and above. - 13yo Bellop Schmitz is a commoner and also a beginner cadet. - In ML’s past life, he was expelled from Runcandel and became the loyal hound of the Vermont Empire. Later Bellop killed himself. - Practice spar: ML defeats the top 10 cadets from the spar to qualify for advancement to the intermediate class early next year. - Mesa Milkano is the strongest beginner cadet after ML. - ML makes Bellop spar with him to provoke Bellop into fighting for his life. ML must reach 5-star to even use it as a normal sword. - After hearing about ML and Bellop, Cyron wants to test ML’s creed of walking the path of the dominator while looking after the weak. Before starting the intermediate class, 15yo ML as a 3-star knight cadet is assigned his 1st mission to lead 9 other beginner cadets. They include Bellop and some cadets who have the lowest grades in the class. - The cadets will be divided into 2 groups for a scouting mission at the southern border of the Zhan kingdom. It’s near the land of the beastmen and the territory of the White Wolf tribe. - It’s highly difficult for a 1st mission and for beginner cadets. - The goal of the mission is to search for Cember Bill, the successor of his clan in the Zhan kingdom. - Kinzelo are a terrorist organisation of “revolutionaries” who want to rule the world. They ambush the 2nd group led by Mesa and kidnap her. ML gets Bellop and his group to take the injured cadets and get backup from the Runcandel main residence. ML locates the Kinzelo base near the entry to the land of beastmen. He starts a fire to distract the terrorists and finds Mesa. - An adult warrior (about 6-star) from the White Wolf tribe suddenly arrives because of the fire and kills the terrorists. - The White Wolf tribe hate the Runcandels because Temar killed Javier the Great White Wolf who they worshipped as a god. - ML defeats the warrior after awakening his sword with spiritual energy. ML meditates to slowly release the congested energy so he doesn’t get overwhelmed and die. - Cember Bill was also at the Kinzelo base and is relieved to be saved by ML. Cember was kidnapped by Kinzelo after following someone that looked exactly like his lover who died 2yrs ago. ML thinks Bouvard Gaston is involved again. - ML successfully completes his 1st mission. - ML declines the offer from Rosa of the room reserved for the future patriarch. The room occupant receives greater support but also becomes even more of a target for the other siblings. - Zed Runcandel, 8-star knight, clan elder and Cyron’s younger brother. He’s the intermediate swordsmanship instructor. - Runcandel intermediate class: composed of 3-star to 5-star cadets. - ML knows his siblings will try to keep him in check once he starts this class. ML plans to dominate the class with his power. - ML warns the 10 other beginner cadets that are advancing with him to be careful as they’ll be seen as his faction. - Zed and the senior cadets try to intimidate the new cadets from the start. ML severs the arm of Kajin, a 5-star cadet near the twins. They let it slip that Kajin is part of their faction (on loan from Myu and Anne). - ML and the twins will partake in special training for Runcandels only. They’re each given a steel ball called a “clear rock.” - The sounds the steel ball makes differ depending on the strength used to hit it. If struck too hard, it’ll explode. - ML saves the twins from the explosion caused by Zed’s demo. - Luna is the only other child to be unharmed by the explosion. Her body was too sturdy to be hurt. - The 1st missions are assigned to the intermediate class. - Myu and Anne assign the hardest missions to ML and his faction. - Demon beast subjugation: Kill 25 orcs in the Curano territory. This mission is given to the 10 new cadets. ML gets Murakan to secretly protect them. Murakan orders the orcs to disperse to make it easier for the cadets to kill them. He detects a graveyard giant nearby and destroys it. Bouvard Gaston created the giant. - Bishkel Ibriano, head of Kinzelo. - Margiela Ibriano, Bishkel’s younger sister (in a wheelchair). - Bouvard Gaston is working with Kinzelo and the Zipfels (?) - ML is assigned a solo mission: to assassinate the toy of Talaris, the Ice Castle master. The toy refers to one of her many lovers. His name is Alkarro Chenderer, son of a Count. He’s currently staying in Mamit, the lawless zone and a sanctuary for criminals. The Chenderer family commissioned the assassination. - Alkarro is at an inn with 6 Ice Castle guards. ML combines his magic and spiritual energy to summon lightning that makes the inn collapse. The guards survive but Alkarro is killed. - Syris Endorma, 15yo daughter of the Ice Castle master. - She’s also the captain of the Ice Castle’s 7 Swords. - Everyone returns safely from their missions. - ML challenges Kajin to a duel after ML overhears him being disrespectful. ML demonstrates he’s a 5-star knight now and defeats Kajin. ML can use magic, aura and spiritual energy. - Only Temar, Cyron and Luna became 5-star knights when they were 15yo. - Rosa cancels the Collon Ruins mission prepared for ML by Anne and Myu. It’s in the Peyton kingdom which is Zipfel territory and is too dangerous for a 15yo. ML insists on taking the mission. Kajin, Mayl Hass and Rima Hass are senior cadets and lackeys of Anne and Myu. They join ML on this mission. ML puts them to sleep by drugging their food. - The mission objective is to steal 4 relics. - ML discovers the Zipfels are using forbidden magic to experiment with humans to create living golems. The warehouse guards transform into living golems. ML defeats them after destroying their cores. ML gathers the relics in the warehouse and returns home, another mission successfully completed. - As promised, Ran and Vigo each give a sword to ML. - Cyron and ML speak privately. With Cyron as the only Genesis Knight of the current era, the influence of the Runcandel clan will greatly decline after Cyron is gone. ML says he’ll leave the clan if the next patriarch is incompetent. ML intends to surpass the clan and Cyron no matter what. - The Runcandel clan is holding a 4-day banquet (the first in 7yrs), to celebrate ML’s achievements. In ML’s past life, he was never allowed to attend or be seen at these banquets. - 5 x Zipfel members suddenly arrive as uninvited guests. - Andrei Zipfel, 2nd-in-command of the Zipfel clan. - Cyron provokes Andrei’s bad temper to make the Zipfels leave. - The banquet is “a party of fateful meetings” where tensions between guests is inevitable. Runcandel banquets allow duels in the family arena. - Syris Endorma is a 4-star knight. She challenges ML to a duel when he refuses to tell her why he was in Mamit. - Syris inherited the myriad iceblades skill from her family. She uses her secret avalanche technique. ML surprises her with his own secret storm blade technique to win the duel but almost kills her. Syris accepts her loss for now. - Beradin Zipfel 18yo is now a 6-star mage. - He crashes the banquet to meet ML on the 2nd day. - Bouvard Gaston has an obsessive, unrequited love for Luna. - ML is insulted by Bouvard (6-star) who approached ML with a gift for Luna and expressed hopes of marrying her. ML forces Bouvard to a duel using their fists. ML easily beats up Bouvard. - Bishkel Ibriano (8-star) is made to step in by his sister. - From Luna's training, ML almost achieves the heart sword and manages to cut Bishkel’s neck before ML faints and his sword breaks. After 2 days, ML wakes up. His impressive achievement despite losing the duel was the main discussion topic for the rest of the banquet. - ML is summoned by Cyron. They meet in the mausoleum. There is no grave for Temar the 1st patriarch at the Garden of Swords. Because of the 1000yo pact between the Runcandels and the Zipfels, the Runcandel bloodline was cursed. All Runcandels after Temar were born with bodies that couldn’t use magic. - ML admits to hearing Solderet’s voice before. - He decides to leave and see the world. ML looks forward to being free to grow his strength however he wants. - Cyron gives ML 5yrs to return with his reply to either be acknowledged or acknowledge the family. Cyron implies he wants ML to investigate everything about spiritual energy. ML departs with Gilly and Murakan. Cember gives a generous amount to ML. - ML and co. teleport to the Arkin kingdom (Zipfel territory). - Arkin is a member of the Lutero Magic Federation managed by the Zipfel clan. About 80% of active dragons are on the Zipfel side. Several of the Zipfels have formed contracts with these dragons. - There are many unregistered mages and mercenaries in Arkin. They’re all criminals and puppets of Tessing, an underworld organisation that controls Arkin on behalf of the Zipfels. ML wants to take down Tessing by infiltrating their undergound auctions first. - Jet is an Arkin informant, human trafficker and 5-star martial artist who scammed ML in his past life. This time ML will use Jet as their Arkin guide. Jet is beaten up by Murakan after Jet tries to drug ML and co. when they first meet. ML gets Jet to take them to an underground auction house. - Salka, fake boss and front man of Tessing - Spiderhands Alluh, the real boss of Tessing and a 7-star martial artist. He’s rumoured to be connected with the Runcandels. - ML suspects the one who cursed ML is also connected to Alluh. - The most likely person backing Alluh is Joshua Runcandel. - At the auction house, ML buys a magic book by Tzenmi after Murakan recommended it. ML also buys a magic book by Schugiel Hister. In ML’s past life, his master was from the Hister clan that fell 100s of years ago. - ML pretends to be Beradin Zipfel to meet Alluh. ML accuses Alluh of selling stolen magic books without permission from the Zipfels. ML asks to see the customer lists and account books. ML and co. are taken to Alluh’s office / storage room. - Alluh leaves to verify ML is really Beradin. Meanwhile ML and co. ransack and loot the room then leave. - Mewlta’s Rune: a ring artifact given to the 1st Bement Emperor by his demon lover. It blocks all attacks below 7-star. - ML admits he’s not Beradin to Jet. ML tells Jet to take the slave lists of kidnapped Bement citizens and flee to the Bement Empire. There Jet must act as a whistleblower on the Tessing slave auctions to protect himself and his son. Alluh returns and gathers all of the Tessing members to hunt down ML. - To instigate the collapse of Tessing, ML uses magic to widely spread the evidence that exposes Tessing’s weaknesses. - Along with the slave lists taken by Jet, ML shared the lists of Arkin nobles bribed by Tessing to turn a blind eye to their crimes; and the transaction ledgers for stolen magic texts that were not reported to the Zipfels. - ML was waiting to be found and he gets Murakan to take care of the Tessing members so ML can fight Alluh alone. - ML reveals he is a magic swordsman for the first time (?) and easily defeats Alluh. Tessing are completely destroyed. - The Zipfels and Bement are credited with eliminating Tessing thanks to Jet following ML’s instructions. - Tikan is an independent city on a small island. - Alicia Badger, leader of Tikan’s garrison. - Noble Sword Cashmere, a swordmaster and leader of 7 Colours, an info guild. - Julia, 5yo daughter of Alicia and Cashmere. She’s contracted to Azmill the god of sight. She can see the future but can’t interfere with it. Her guardian dragon Latree has been missing for a year. - ML agrees to help look for Julia’s dragon. - Quikantel the silver dragon and guardian dragon of Oltah, god of time. She’s an ex-girlfriend of Murakan. - Enya, Quikantel’s contractor. - Vuletta the wind dragon and guardian dragon of Andre, the vice head of the Zipfels. She took Latree a year ago.
