He receives gold and XP when either he or his minions kill monsters. - Scent of Death effect: opponents are weakened by stat debuffs. - Wild Berserker bracelet: gives attack buffs to goblins for 10mins when activated. - Synergy effect: buffs are applied when the same type is grouped together (ie weapons, team, etc). - Hanho Lee, ML’s idiot friend. (Class: Rogue) - Jisu Yun 23yo, student rep of the PE dept. (Class: Tiger hunter) - To escape the college, the boss monster must be defeated. - ML, Hanho and Jisu go to the rooftop and face the goblin chief, the boss monster. One of ML’s goblin skeleton minions called the One Armed Warrior (OAW) lands the final blow and beheads the chief. OAW then absorbs the chief’s mana to level up. - ML, Hanho and Jisu also level up. - ML obtains a skill to create bone weapons. - Hanho obtains a rogue cloak that improves stealth. - Jisu obtains a whetstone that can set her blade on fire. - Daeseong Park, the corrupt student council president. - Jinseok, a trash bastard with an over inflated ego. - Kyeongsu Lee (Class: Spearman) - ML and co. level up again after killing a group of orcs. - They save another human team from orcs and are shown an items store. ML obtains a legendary class orb called the Sea Spirit’s Tear. It increases his mana and mana recovery. - ML uses a bus to save Daeseong’s large group from orcs. - They need to defeat the boss monster again to leave the area. - The orc chief is a black mage and the boss monster. - ML goes alone with his undead minions to fight the orc chief. - He can now summon orc skeletons. ML is strengthened by the orc chief’s black magic and his mana grows rapidly. - ML and his undead soldiers kill the orc chief. - Devil’s Bloodstone: a legendary orb that allows the user to steal mana or HP from an enemy. - All modern weapons (ie guns) can’t be used anymore. - There are QR codes that allow you to download the Play Guide Book app. This app is the only way for survivors to communicate with each other. All other modern networks are down. - The app also includes the latest news, player rankings, and an auction house. - Dungeon: Elder Slime’s Shrine - After defeating the boss monster, ML collects the slime and the monster core which are very acidic. - People are killing other people and players to obtain gold. - ML stops a vampire who is leading a group of murderers. ML kills them all. - Hanho returns home to find his parents alive and well. - ML and his team are attacked by mutant wolves when they try to leave. ML uses the acid slime on the wolves. His minions finish off the wolves. - ML and co. head for a nearby military fortress that’s become a safe zone. They see wyverns on the way. - A chance to pick another class is given to everyone. - ML chooses Dark Mage to combine with Necromancer. - Death’s Aura: buffs the undead minions and debuffs their enemies. - Jisu chooses Hitman which gives her heightened senses. - Hanho's dad chooses Pioneer which means he can create a safety zone (maintained by mana or gold). Hanho’s mother chose Chef. Hanho picked Priest. - Anyone who still didn’t pick a class after the 2nd round is turned into a monster. ML and co. kill 2 people before they turn into werewolves. ML summons the werewolf skeletons. - There’s another items store at a car sales building. - Refuge in the Void: a master rank skill that lets you create a space for your undead minions to rest and recover. - ML gets a quest to kill the vampire lord who is a convicted serial killer. An abandoned factory is under the control of vampires. - ML and co. infiltrate the factory and are reunited with Kyeongsu. ML discovers they’re running a human trafficking ring inside the factory. His team rescues the kidnapped people while he kills the vampires. ML manages to summon an undead vampire minion. He can see some of the minion’s memories. - ML sees the face of the vampire lord for the first time. - The vampire lord wants to bring about a new world order. The vampires will be the next pinnacle of human evolution. - Hanho’s dad creates a safety zone around the factory. - ML, Hanho, Jisu and Kyeongsu hunt monsters to level up. - They enter a kobold dungeon in a department store. - ML finds a dragon egg. He levels up and obtains the Corpse Explosion skill. After defeating the boss monster, he obtains Death’s Response that lets him summon 100 zombies for 10mins. - The vampires are luring people who want to enter the safety zone at the military fortress. A crowd gathers at the designated meeting spot. They will be slaughtered as part of a great feast for the vampires. ML sets his own trap and kills the vampire guards who followed him. He summons more undead vampire minions. - Jisu and Hanho are among the crowd that is let into the fortress. When the vampire lord and the other vampires reveal themselves, Jisu and Hanho help the crowd to escape. Kyeongsu arrives with a bus full of monster corpses. ML gets the vampires to follow him onto the bus, then he detonates the corpses. - ML goes head to head against the vampire lord. - ML completes his quest after killing the vampire lord. - Create Bone Armour skill: ML can make armour from the bones of corpses for himself, his party and his minions. - Prophecy Stone: ML sees a vision of the future with the end of humanity and the world caused by the Lich King. - ML gets a quest to retrieve the Grim Reaper’s Scythe. - ML refuses to join the army who want to use him to do everything. - ML agrees to kill a boss monster with the army after they pay him 100k gold. Sergeant 1st Class Jinuk Kang will lead the soldiers. - ML, Jisu and Hanho find a workshop for the first time. - Jisu combines her fire whetstone and sword. - ML combines Sea Spirit’s Tear, Devil’s Bloodstone and Elder Slime Core to create a Chaos Crystal. - It’s a legendary item that grants the Chaos attribute to the user. Increased mana, mana recovery, and stealing mana / HP occur simultaneously during attacks. - Sergeant Kim (Class: Blacksmith) - The soldiers are being extorted by their commanding officers. - They’re enslaved to be used as meat shields and gold collectors. - ML and co. go with the soldiers led by Jinuk Kang to the airstrip. There’s a gigantic troll as the boss monster. - With excellent teamwork, ML and co. kill the troll. - Shadow King’s Cloak: allows the user to hide in the shadows and reduces magic damage. - Jinuk Kang was ordered to kill ML after the boss monster was defeated. ML was aware of this and easily defeats Jinuk, but Jinuk injects a werebeast vial into himself and turns into a weretiger. - ML kills Jinuk and summons the undead weretiger as his minion. - ML confronts the army commander who has a special synergy that lets him order the soldiers to do anything. If they disobey, he can punish them with hellfire. ML and others like him are seen as threats to the old world order that the commander wants to rebuild. - ML won’t kill the army commander after he’s given the army’s gold and the soldiers are freed. ML promises to leave the area when the game system allows it. A group called the Wandering Peddlers sold the werebeast vials and other player made items to the army. - The commander tries to kill ML as he leaves. ML’s minions protect him and kill the commander instead. - Sgt Kim and most of the soldiers go with ML and co. to the village of survivors managed by Kyeongsu. - The restriction on travel between areas is lifted. - Jeonghun Choi the Liberation guild master visits ML. - The Liberation guild is the largest and no.1 guild in S. Korea. - Jeonghun’s class is Crusader Commander. He creates a special synergy by appointing crusaders and forming a knight order. - He has the War Hero’s Aura, a charm skill that instills favour and respect in others (L10 and below) towards him within his vicinity. - Prophecy Stone: ML sees another vision of the world ending. The Fallen Ones plant and corrupt the World Tree with human sacrifices. - ML refuses to join the Liberation guild but he agrees to join their raid party to defeat the Fallen Ones. - Hidden quest: Catch the Golden Deer. - ML is teleported to a hidden stage called Golden Canyon. - ML clears the stage, learning valuable lessons along the way. - He obtains an Oath Parchment that lets you make a pledge with another player. Failure to meet the pledge condition results in death. - ML levels up, his stats increase and he gains XP. - He also obtains an equipment upgrade stone, a strength upgrade vial, and an experience card. He exits the hidden stage. - The people who turned into werebeasts regain their human consciousness after killing 10 humans. ML realises monsters can level up by killing / consuming humans. - The Evolutionary Society: Mad scientists have allied with werebeasts to exterminate humans. They work together to conduct human experiments and create many dangerous items that are sold by the Wandering Peddlers. - Hanho’s mother tried cooking monster meat but it was a failure. The meat is irresistible to monsters and ML uses it as bait. - Spider Queen’s dungeon: the boss monsters are a kobold shaman and the spider queen. ML, Hanho and Jisu defeat the boss monsters and level up. There’s an items store in the dungeon. - ML: Shadow King’s Ring increases stats. It also summons a Shadow Clone when attacking from the shadows. - Hanho: Lady Luck’s Practical Joke is a magic scroll. It allows the player to use a random skill. - The game app has a new broadcast feature. - The Liberation guild will livestream the raid. - Minhwa Seong - Minheum Seong (Class: Scouter), Minhwa’s brother. - A quest is generated in response to the raid. It turns the raid into a competition for one player to kill the boss monster. - Lizardman Warlord is the boss monster - ML refuses to share the boss rewards equally. - 12 groups including ML’s party have joined the raid. - The other 10 groups are affiliated with the Liberation guild. - Gangyun Lee (Class: Fire Mage), a wanker - Anseok Gu (Class: Martial Artist), another wanker - ML’s party get to the boss monster and see Jeonghun fighting it. - The monster turns into a fire drake and it knocks out Jeonghun. - ML fights the drake with his undead minions. Jisu and Hanhu help the other players fight the swarm of monsters. - ML dies in the drake’s flames but he has his 1st awakening and is resurrected. He now has the Grim Reaper’s Manifestation skill. For 1hr each day, ML can summon the Grim Reaper’s Scythe and transform into a lich. He can also revive any defeated minions. - ML’s relentless large scale attack defeats the drake. - He summons the undead drake skeleton as his minion. - He is rewarded with the title of Dragon Hunter. His stats and fire immunity increase. The drake body parts are harvested. - ML obtains the Seed of Life (mythical rank). - The Liberation guild HQ is attacked by the anti-human alliance / Evolutionary Society. An Ogre Champion boss monster is summoned. ML with his undead drake and army defeat it and ML summons it’s skeleton as his minion. ML gets the God of Thunder’s Blessing which is a bracelet that attacks with electricity. - ML and Jisu help a Liberation guild survivor shelter that is under an area quest called the City of the Dead. They’re constantly attacked by hordes of zombies and ghouls. - Ahn Minseok, the shelter leader, makes a contract with ML to protect his family. He becomes a death knight who retains his human consciousness. - The Evolutionary Society have held captive and experimented on the Ghoul King, the boss monster. The Society leader says he’s studying death, ie abyss energy that is contrary to life. He asks ML to join them in attaining transcendence as the next phase of human evolution. ML kills the Society members and destroys their leader’s clone. The Ghoul King dies and the area quest ends. - A system update is announced for the Korean server that is performing (too) well. Warlord monsters leading large armies will now attack safety zones. - Gangseok Han, no.1 player in South Korea.

His father Kang Seokjun was betrayed and he had a heart attack from the stress. ML works hard at menial part-time jobs to pay his father’s hospital bills and support his family. ML decides to start playing Arena again to earn money and get revenge. - Kwon Yeongchan, ML’s friend. (Arena ID: Argon) - Kwon Yuri and Kwon Yeongjoon are Yeongchan’s siblings. - He lends his Arena capsule to ML and gets ML to live with him. - Jeong Hanbaek. His father was the one who betrayed ML’s father. - Tutorial completion reward: - ML gets a unique-grade ring that boosts his strength. - ML is the only one who knows how to make an XP potion that boosts XP earned for a few hours (he can only make the potion once a month). The last ingredient he needs is in a dungeon that is now owned by the Black Skull guild. - Character deletion duel: ML is forced to duel with the guild member guarding the dungeon. Junu sees ML and challenges him to another deletion duel. ML defeats all 3 of them in 1-on-1 duels and they’re deleted. - Dungeon: Dakan’s dwelling. - ML fights Dakan but eventually admits defeat. - Dakan acknowledges ML and gives his necklace to ML as a reward. It buffs all stats during battle. - ML meets Raccoon and returns Cancun’s necklace. - Cancun is the son and heir of Raccoon. - ML gets a new skill for clearing the quest. - Magic Condensation: this skill increases magic power. - Quest: Raccoon’s message for Cancun. - ML visits Lebron at his estate. He is tested by Lebron. Although Lebron defeats ML, the Kion Knight is impressed and ML is the 1st to get the title of “Rising Star Acknowledged By Lebron.” ML completes the quest and receives a new skill. - Combat Master: all stats increase in battle. - Quest: Briggs Investigation. Black mages are suspected of summoning undead in the southern city of Briggs. - Before undertaking this new quest, ML wants to deal with the Black Skull guild. He posts on the Arena community online forum a declaration of war. ML accuses the guild of monopolising hunting grounds and terrorising other players. He challenges the Black Skull guild master and other guild executives to a deletion duel. - Kang Junggu, vice guild master of New World guild. - Black Skull guild is affiliated with New World guild. - ML is scouted by Nike and is offered a contract with them. - ML meets Kale and confirms the contract details. Kale and Nike are aware that ML is the former no.1 player. The conditions are outstanding and ML signs the 2yr contract. - The Black Skull guild choose the colosseum in the Yusma Empire as the venue for the duel. ML shocks everyone by announcing a team battle, ie ML vs all 13 guild execs. ML defeats all of them. The Black Skull guild is wiped out. - Kang Woojong, Arena pro team, JT Telecom head coach. - Jeong Hanbaek debuts as a pro gamer for JT Telecom. - ML will also become a pro gamer so he can beat Hanbaek. - ML travels to Briggs. ML obtains the black mage’s research journal and the giant bear’s essence. - ML delivers the journal to Lebron and completes the quest. - Lebron escorts ML to the imperial palace to give his report. - ML is the 1st player to enter the palace and to meet Emperor Alexander who wants to verify ML’s skills. - Proof of Qualification: Win in the colosseum. - ML gives the essence to Tangy who levels up. - Tangy unlocks new skills: Lightning and Magic Affinity. - Nike gives a black jaguar leather suit to ML. It boosts all stats and has stealth and speed abilities. - ML makes his 1st livestream at the colosseum. - He will challenge the colosseum rankings by becoming the 1st player to achieve 100 consecutive wins. Count Ramon the Lipa castle lord is a traitor who is working with the rebels. - The rebels kidnapped dwarves from the Red Anvil clan and forced them to make weapons. Golden Hammer is the chief dwarf blacksmith who recognises ML’s sword as one he made. ML helps the dwarves to escape. - ML returns to the palace and reports to the Emperor. - Main quest: Defend Lipa castle. - Carey, Phoenix guild master - Rachel, vice guild master of Phoenix guild - The Phoenix and New World guilds have so far monopolised the main quests. ML invites all players to meet him at Lipa castle for info on the main quests. A huge number of players turn up and help ML defend the castle against the rebel forces. - Count Ramon is killed by Aldred. - ML commands the players in the battle against Perrion. - Lebron arrives with his knights and defeats Perrion. - Aldred gives a sealed half sword to ML. - Lebron invites ML to be his 1st disciple. The streamer lost sponsors who are more interested in ML, so he wants to humiliate ML. Clear is a famous money-hungry driver who wields dual swords. ML agrees to a deletion duel with Clear and he easily beats Clear. - Nike approves ML’s proposal for King of Masked Combat (KMC). It’s a new program that broadcasts PVP duels between famous players wearing masks. Not knowing who their opponent is forces players to rely purely on their skills and strategies. Hanbaek is among the 30 players who agree to participate. - Cancun the orc is spotted by the famous Pioneer guild in the Frozen Canyon. The 5 guild members are all wealthy IRL and play Arena for fun. They have the most Arena subscribers. - Ket, Pioneer guild master and a warrior. - Arth (mage), Julie, Maha (priest) and Nix (paladin). - ML finds Cancun and saves the orc from a boss monster. - ML delivers Raccoon’s message to Cancun, telling him to come home. Cancun was cursed by Caroum, a black mage. Cancun asks ML to help find and kill the mage to lift the curse. - The Pioneer guild’s network help to find a nearby dungeon with undead and black magic. Caroum is now a lich. - ML defeats Dullahan the headless knight, then Caroum. - Cancun’s curse is lifted. The orc leaves for the Black Forest. - ML obtains a Cursed Bracelet that can create a cursed spear. - A living opponent hit by this spear will lose HP over time. - Ket asks ML to consider joining the Pioneer guild in the future. - ML decides to play battle royale. It consists of PVP, a magic test and an achievement evaluation. ML wins 10 consecutive PVP rounds with just a worn dagger. He sets a new record for completing the magic test. ML’s achievements are evaluated as “epic.” ML’s overall ranking for battle royale is no.1 with an epic grade. - Arena has 4 known category grades: - Common (low) / Uncommon / Rare / Unique (high) - Epic is the newest and highest grade. ML is the 1st to get this. - Quest: Red Anvil clan. He is a scalper who monopolises hunting grounds and controls the market by inflating the sale price of items. - Rin is a female mage and Tian Hu’s subordinate. - She tries to PK ML with 3 more players. They are all defeated. - ML declares war on Tian Hu and the Isis guild for their scalping practises. Tian Hu makes ML agree to a deletion duel as a combat trial. ML can only use basic gear for the duel. - ML’s skill and precision from his extensive game experience overwhelms Tian Hu. ML wins but the Isis guild still try to attack him. The Pioneer guild stops them. - ML gets a new skill: Magic Explosion. - Quincy created a special set in Arena for KMC. - The contestants for the first show are SJ, Carey, Marco (Mano guild), Daniel (Tank Corps guild), Mascherano (USA Red Bull pro gamer), and Ryan (UK Manchester Devils pro gamer). - The appearances and the equipment of the contestants are changed and customised by Quincy. ML is the show’s MC. - With the money earned from the show, ML pays off part of his father’s debt and upgrades his gear. - Quest: Meet General Gerard at Lactus fortress in the Heijin mountain range. An annual monster wave attacks the fortress. - ML and Tangy defeat 999 monsters. A treasure map is the reward. - The 2nd show of KMC has ML and Hanbaek in the cast. - The other competitors include Ice Princess Reina (pro gamer captain of the NY Warriors), Ichino (a popular Japanese streamer with the ninja class), and Yeongchan. ML secretly swaps with Yeongchan to fight and humiliate Hanbaek. - Hanbaek and his team captain make false claims online that Hanbaek didn’t use his full strength on KMC and pro gamers are stronger than amateurs. ML hears this and declares war on the JT Telecom pro gaming team. He will crush them and Hanbaek when he turns pro. - Tangy has it’s first awakening. All stats increase and the new skills of Giantisation, Roar and Dimensional Space are unlocked. - The treasure map teleports ML to an instant dungeon, the Mine Spider’s Lair. ML defeats Krassel the elemental spider and the boss monster. He obtains Krassel’s Curse, a mask with 5 attack options. Tangy eats Krassel’s essence for fire and ice, which become Tangy’s new skills. - ML quits KMC and hands the show to Yeongchan as the new host. ML wants to create new content for his channel that will continue to increase subscriber numbers. He decides to invite celebrities to teach them combat skills. He announces this during a live Q&A session online. - SJ and Junggu get ML to join them on a dungeon raid. It’s a new dungeon that only allows 3 players to enter. The boss monster is a vampire. They clear each floor then kill the vampire. ML takes the vampire cloak (wraith form skill) and the vampire heart. ML is tricked into saying he will join New World if he ever decides to join a guild. Junggu secretly records this. - Dwayne Evans, Hollywood action star - Dwayne is ML’s first celebrity guest. He’s a big fan of ML. - Dwayne has the rare brawler class but he is really low in the rankings. ML identifies what’s wrong after seeing Dwayne demonstrate his skills. They’re wiped out by Ban who was trying to meet up with ML but they missed each other. - ML delivers the Viper knights’ corpses to Aizen as another chance to provoke Aubert. Aizen agrees to let ML handle the matter. - ML sets up a trap for Salmora and arranges to meet in a remote location with the bodies of Unit 3. ML fights Bernard in the subspace within Clever. It’s a close match until ML finally awakens his sword aura and defeats Bernard. - Clever delivers the rings, the hostages and ML who is badly injured to the Shahatra king. ML is healed by the king. - The king reclaims the capital. ML asks the king to end the national seclusion policy of the Shahatra kingdom. In exchange ML will secretly teach magic to the Shahatra people. - Aizen’s large contribution in stopping the Shahatra rebellion is acknowledged by the Emperor. Aiken is awarded the Marquis position. At the celebration banquet in the palace, ML retrieves another hidden treasure at the back of the imperial garden. - Luminol’s Anklet absorbs mana from the earth (?) - ML retrieves all of his other treasures hidden at the palace. - Most of Shahatra’s luxury goods were a tribute sold exclusively sold to the imperial family. As a warmup, Hector hunts 500 monsters. Clever consumes the monsters and turns into an egg to evolve. Hector can possess corpses of humans, animals and monsters. - Hegler promises ML to become a swordmaster in 1mth. - He trains under Ban. Hegler has to fight Count Dialo and his men. Dialo was the one who harassed Hegler’s wife. - Hegler kills all of Dialo’s men. ML infers he’ll let the public know about an industrial accident involving a cleaner due to poor equipment. - Soyeon receives a disciplinary action notice. She’s accused of extreme fatigue from her multiple jobs for causing the accident. - Due to her personal negligence, she’ll receive no compensation. - ML intercepts 4 dungeons as they appear. He clears them easily because he did so in his past life. ML anonymously deposits the money earned from these dungeons into a KA support fund for dungeon cleaning. Mincheol thinks ML is a spy for the KA president so he finally increases the cleaning budget. - ML’s team gets new equipment. Soyeon also receives compo. - ML’s Hellfire skill unlocks by increasing the cleaning budget. - ML helps Minju to target dungeons that will raise her level. ML plans to use Minju’s influence as a high ranking hunter in the future. - Some new E-rank hunters start to harass the cleaners by intentionally leaving a mess and writing graffiti in the dungeons. - ML finds the hunters and beats them up. After the hunters apologise to ML’s team, Suyong fires them. - Suyong accepts Dongbin’s offer to take care of ML’s team in exchange for Operations Team 2 taking charge of the raid on a multizone dungeon. All zones must be cleared to get out of the dungeon. Dongbin wants Minju to lead the raid and ML’s team to also join this raid. - ML refuses to join the raid. Minju and ML’s team follow his example. In ML’s past life, Dongbin took credit for a few missions completed by ML when he was a rookie hunter. - They’re forced to join after Mincheol issues a mandatory participation order. The media interest in this raid is intense. - ML’s exhausted team struggles to catch up to the hunters. Dongbin threatens ML’s team with disciplinary action and orders Minju to hand over her role. Minju makes ML the leader. ML dismisses Dongbin and all hunters who refused to help clean. Then ML advises Minju and her hunters on how to clear the remaining zones. - ML borrows Minju’s sword in the last zone when they have trouble with the boss monster. ML unlocks his Over-Immersion skill by having a joint mission with other depts. With his other unlocked skills, ML defeats the boss monster. Minju asks her team to keep it a secret about ML’s skills. - The media report on Dongbin’s dismissal in the dungeon. Dongbin and the other dismissed hunters are punished. Dongbin is demoted and Minju is promoted as the new Operations Team 2 captain. Song Hyeyeon is assigned from the Hunter Support dept as Minju’s assistant. Minju and Team 2 help out ML’s team. In return ML gives Minju advice on operation planning. - Lee Ayeong, deputy manager of the Hunter Support dept. She was ML’s assistant in his past life. She was there when he died. - Her father is Lee Dushik, a member of the KA board of directors. - Someone set up ML’s team by removing the barricade to a cleared dungeon and leaving a half-dead monster inside. A young boy enters the dungeon and is saved by ML before the monster causes any harm. ML voluntarily takes the blame and appears at the press conference about this incident. - The boy’s brother was one of the hunters fired because of ML and was obsessed with revenge, but the boy sees ML as his saviour. - At the press conference, ML’s team interrupt ML and refuse to let him take all the blame. They get a lot of attention on social media for their antics. ML unlocks his Polymorph skill due to the increased public interest in the dungeon cleaning dept. - The boy makes a false confession at the press conference that he was to blame. His brother regrets his actions and turns himself in. - Reporter Gu Sangchan is approved by Mincheol to cover ML’s team. ML wants to use the article to attract potential jobseekers. - ML comes across Lee Dushik at the KA Seoul branch office. - ML wants to increase the salary of cleaners to be more attractive to new recruits. Dushik needs ML to justify the salary increase and suggests ML work with Operations Team 2 to achieve better results than Team 1 during the performance review period. - ML asks Ayeong for her help. - There are 4 Operation teams in Seoul. Team 2 starts to have a higher dungeon clearance rate than Team 1. Mincheol neglects the cleaning of the dungeons cleared by Team 1. He only focuses on increasing the hunters’ performance. - Cleaning is important due to dungeons reappearing after they’ve been cleared. Any monster blood and corpses left behind turn into lethal poisonous gases, making it impossible to re-enter a dungeon. - ML gets his combined Team 2 to take care of the cleaning for the dungeons left by Team 1. As a result, Team 2 fall behind in performance but still achieve 2nd place behind Team 1. - Dushik calls a disciplinary committee over the risk of uncleared dungeons left by Team 1. Mincheol is held responsible and receives a pay cut as punishment. - Park Geuntae is promoted as the new Cleaning Manager. - ML is promoted to the Cleaning Team 3 leader role. - A new Cleaning Team 6 is created. The various factions in KA see this as an opportunity to extend their influence. - The article published by Sangchan is an exposé about dungeon cleaning. He sees a secret location in Las Vegas where Sinister players receive their orders. - ML also sees the dragon was a former Emperor who became a guardian dragon to protect the nation. After praying for the Emperor’s soul, ML clears a hidden quest and receives the Tidal Breath Flute (3 uses). He also receives dragon bones as a reward. - ML gives half of the bones to Deokgu. The other half he gives to Kwon Noya to make a sword for ML. - The Watchdogs: Arma the Skeleton mage - ML takes out the Sinister minions at the Las Vegas location and learns about the Watchdogs attending the artifact auction. - Gong Juha and the Dokkaebi guild are providing security at the auction. Doekgu gets a VIP ticket for ML to attend the auction. - Heaven’s Breath is a magic core of the highest grade. - Arma falls for ML’s trap and gets killed. - Nazad Hallow is a Sinister executive. - Their ultimate goal is to dominate the tower. - They raise orphans and train them to be Sinister players. - ML gives a Stamina Regeneration necklace to Arthur. - Arthur, ML’s nephew? - ML picks up his new sword from Noya’s workshop. - Black Dragon Fang, and Black Armour (from Deokgu) - Wild Forest dungeon in England: defeat the dark elf chief. - ML agrees to join Cha Minwoo’s party from the Cheonghae guild. - 200 players enter this dungeon. ML was ready for an ambush at night. He helps other parties against the dark elves and gathers the survivors to attack the underground lair of the dark elf tribe. - ML kills the dark elf knights on his own while the other players fight the dark elves. ML uses his Waveguard of Darkness skill to create a barrier around him and the chief to keep it a secret about his true skills. ML defeats the dark elf chief and the dungeon is cleared. - ML is rewarded with an aura buff ring and a blue fairy bracelet. - Before the chief died, he identified the unknown orb that ML bought at the auction as a spirit egg. If you make a contract with a spirit, you can use powerful skills without consuming MP. - ML injects his magic into the egg. The Frost Queen is reborn as a frost spirit. He makes a contract with her to learn more about her powers and his Frost skill. - The Cave of Trials dungeon in Tibet. - The rewards depend on how much a player struggles. - Players who have received their rewards can’t re-enter this dungeon. Since ML lost his rewards, he tries to enter again. - Gray the 1st floor administrator allows ML to proceed only after the difficulty is adjusted. - ML sets a new record by passing 10 trials. - He set the last record of 9 trials as Spectre. - ML is rewarded with 0% MP loss rate? - Torres Milo, a retired player who manages the Sinister orphanage called “Paradise” in Italy. He has a Mind Manipulation skill. - Paradise was established to create the strongest Sinister player with the darkness skill like Spectre. The orphan children were forced to drink demon blood. There is no way to extract the blood. - ML goes to Italy as Spectre. ML finds the orphanage and kills Torres. ML discovers he can absorb the demonic energy from the children with his Watchguard of Darkness skill. This is because the children aren’t players yet. ML gets the Vatican to confirm the 217 orphans are normal. The children will be cared for by the Vatican. - ML holds a press conference as Spectre. He says over 6000 orphan children were killed by Sinister in the past 25yrs. The players, guilds and player associations are accountable for not joining forces and wiping out Sinister together. He declares war on Sinister. - The Queen’s Nest dungeon in Antartica is where ML defeated the Frost Queen. A similar dungeon called the Winter Castle appeared in Antarctica and it remains uncleared. ML enters the dungeon and the Frost Queen says they’re in the ice kingdom she ruled over.

She was the only survivor. She lost the ability to walk due to the psychological trauma. ML works hard to support Hyuna, and to pay the medical bills and daytime carer. - When a new VR MMORPG called “Idea” was launched a year ago, Hyuna’s doctor encouraged her to play the game to help with her recovery. ML bought capsules for her and himself. - ML uses the game to catch up on his sleep that he loses from overworking. Time is much faster in the game. - He only starts to play the game properly after he unlocks a new class for sleeping over 10k hours in the game. - Divine class: Progeny of Thananos (god of sleep and death) +30 all stats for unlocking a divine class. +50 stat pts for unlocking a class before the tutorial. +10 all stats & 10% boost to all skill XP for sleeping 10k hrs. - Thananos is the strongest of the gods. - ML’s class exclusive skills are: - Sweet Dreams skill: Earn DP while you sleep or kill. - Sleepwalking skill: AI controls your avatar while you sleep. - Nightmare skill: You can wield any weapon. Because the dungeon is cleared, the uncollected rewards from defeating the boss disappear with the dungeon. - Jung Jaehwan, ML’s close friend since middle school. - He has just created a new startup company that professionally edits Idea videos. Players can’t livestream due to the time difference so editing services are in high demand. - Jaehwan wants to edit ML’s videos after ML reveals his class. - ML needs Jaehwan to manage ML’s channel and offers to split the profits equally. The channel will be called “Asura.” - ML sends his red orc videos to Jaehwan. For the videos, ML wears a mask. The boss monster is Servis the Crazy Werewolf. - ML’s avatar clinically disposes of Servis, even after ML’s sword breaks and Servis evolves into his 2nd phase. - The dungeon is cleared and ML’s avatar lies down to sleep. - ML has leveled up and his class exclusive quest is unlocked. - ML’s avatar automatically logs out. Lina and Yeeun collect the rewards, and wait until they can meet ML again. - ML joins a gym and signs up with a nearby martial arts academy. He learns how to wield a dagger in one hand and a sword in the other at the same time. - ML’s quest: Find Thananos’ Disciple - 1st trace: Aquilleor the Snake Wyvern - (Narcolepsy is sealed until the 1st trace is found.) - There are 6 traces. Each become unlocked as you level up. - You will fail if someone else takes the trace. - With every trace you find, you can choose a divine skill and a divine relic. NB: Divine class quests have an effect on the continent. - For ML’s class quest, a huge castle has appeared near Venea city. The evil dragon Aquilleor was sealed there by Thananos’ disciple. - Dorgnome the Venea mayor (NPC) is recruiting players for a survey corps team to go to the Venea castle. - Reiner the Superhuman guild master will lead the survey corps team. He plans to enter the castle to take the rewards for himself with his guild members and leave the survey corps team behind. Superhuman is a notorious PK guild. - Han Seo-Ah, mage (legendary) - She has a class quest to stop the resurrection of Aquilleor. - ML and Seo-Ah become friends in the game. - The Superhuman guild target ML after one of their members is killed while trying to ambush ML. Reiner and the other members are killed by ML and he gets a map of Venea. - Players that die in the game can’t log in for 24hrs (IRL time). - ML and Seo-Ah reach the castle. Seo-Ah must stay outside and guard the castle while ML takes a test inside. - ML must defeat Aquilleor’s clone in 1hr. He just manages to accomplish this impossible feat and he’s rewarded with +30 all stats. ML also receives a new Collection skill that lets him collect the souls of boss monsters he’s hunted. - A hologram of Thananos’ disciple appears. - ML chooses the divine authority skill called Lucid Dreaming. - The items ML receives are Desert Mirage boots, Dream belt, Killian’s ring, dragon’s heart & Dragon Language skillbook. - With the class quests complete, the castle disappears. - Seo-Ah receives a new Wake Up Song skill. She can wake up an ally while maintaining all sleep effects. - ML continues to level up and collect stat pts at an incredible rate. He consumes the dragon heart to drastically increase his MP and intelligence stat. - ML joins Amir (a merchant) and his party of 4 to undertake Dorgnome’s quest: Collect shark fins in the Underwater Cave dungeon. The other party members are Kuma (archer), Luina (healer), and Fiang (mage). They plan to PK Amir and ML. - ML quickly catches on to their bad intentions. He foils their plan to kill him and Amir in the boss room. The boss monster is defeated and they clear the dungeon. ML gets a new Shark Torpedo skill that lets him create sharks made of water. - Amir and ML become friends in the game. After they part ways, ML kills the others before they can kill Amir. - ML’s new Asura channel is launched with the video of ML defeating the Superhuman guild members. It’s an instant hit. - ML visits the Pantheon temple in Venea to find out more info on Thananos. He is greeted as Thananos’ progeny by temple bishop Baolion & Thananos priest Libeus (both NPCs). - A horde of monsters is swarming towards Venea. They’re attracted to the power of the dragon consumed by ML. - Emergency quest: Protect Venea. - Libeus joins ML as his ally. He can heal and give buffs. - The 4 boss monsters are Moonwater Ebolk the giant wolf, Black Shar the giant snake, Ahkap the ogre champion, and Pirak the giant orc. They lead an army with 1000s of monsters. - Necromancy skill: Activates and summons collected souls to follow your commands. A soul can be resurrected if their physical body still exists, with all stats doubled. - ML uses a divide and conquer strategy to scatter the monster forces. Then ML defeats the bosses and collects their souls. - Yeeun arrives in time to help ML after he defeats the last boss. She guessed he would be actively hunting the monsters near Venea and went looking for him. They run away from the remaining monsters and return to the city. - Yeeun gives ML the rewards from Lycan Cave: the Sinclair spirit sword and an Instant (random) Teleportation skill book. They become friends in the game. - The initial emergency quest rewards are Infinity dagger, Assassin Tylo’s workwear, and Dogfight leather armour. - Deep Sleep (Sweet Dreams?) skill: - Sleep for 10mins, 1% HP restored per second. - ML and Hyuna go out for dinner. She reveals that she can walk again. Later he speaks with Dr Mina. - Hyuna wants to attend college with ML. - Video: ML vs 4 boss monsters is uploaded and goes viral. - The monster army attacks Venea and overwhelm the players gathered there. Due to the quest’s level limit for participation, there are no high level players. ML feels responsible because he’s the reason for the monsters and the emergency quest. He lends his support and lifts the morale of the other players. - Eden, Mythology guild master and no.1 player. - ML proposes a plan for the high level players to buff the lower level players involved in the emergency quest. Netti found out the truth when she saw her twin sister Betti die. Bokassa saw this as a necessary evolution for the angels. He wants to lead the bad endings to wipe out the demons. - The Emperor is mortally wounded and gets ML to kill him. ML obtains a relic from the Emperor who was a close friend of Solomon. Soul’s Scales are activated by Solomon’s necklace and angel’s breath. The scales equalise opponents in a PVP match. - The scales force Bokassa to expel the souls of all the angels he consumed. The souls start flying up to heaven and the bad ending bodies disappear. Bokassa is considerably weakened. - Bokassa absorbs the last Tree of Good and Evil seed he has to turn himself into a bad ending. He eats his own heart to grow stronger. His body expands uncontrollably into a massive blimp. - Yoon Sol’s avatar separates from Netti who joins Betty’s soul. - All of the angel souls bless Yoon Sol who temporarily becomes an Archangel (S-rank). She destroys Bokassa with her divine power. - ML, Drake and Yoon Sol leave with the angels on a big ship. - The sky island is falling now because the Emperor is dead and his magic that kept the island in the sky is gone. - The impact from the sky island hitting the ground causes a cataclysmic event. All players are automatically logged out to protect them from the massive explosion. - The cataclysm changed the topographies and climates of the DeM world. New races, new languages, new quests and new opportunities appear.
