this story was sooo goood, it has the perfect pacing and the premise was also so interesting and the first time i came across a story that has to do with youkai's. ch4 got me real STRESSED because u thought he was gonna be a youkai permanently or die. and to think the author actually considered that (in the end notes) bless the Gods that made them stray from the original story path. the lack of smex scenes in the story brings out the potential of the story more.

this pretty much sums up how a cat exactly acts but human version!! we so need more Ji Chuan Liu, this short won't do it!! it should be a daily series tbh

it's the classic 'a family member is going to die and this is the only way' trope,, i think this one is really interesting in its own way, i love the deep shenanigans abt death.
