100% Perfect Girl – Webtoon Edition
Too angsty for my taste. But I loved it. I like the progression of the story and the ending. I stopped reading at chaptee 57 tho, and skipled all the way to the end. I couldnt handle the action-portion. Hmm. Is it something I would recommend? Maybe not. Gve a fair warning that the male lead can get so intense, and manipulative in the earlier chapters. Also, the premise that the FL is 18 years old and in high school doesnt sit well with me. In Korea, once u're born u r already 1 year old. So I think i actuality, she's still 17. Dudeee, a minor. Les cri. But all in all, great work author and artists.
A Red Knight Does Not Blindly Follow Money
October 25, 2024 This was so good! I'm glad I picked this up after the main story was completed. Honestly, if this was still ongoing, I was gonna drop it. Because in some chapters, it felt like the story was dragging. Thankfully, it would pick up its pace in the next chapters. Storywise: 10/10 it's not unique per se, but the way it was told was really good. I like the elements added, and there were no unneccesary details or twists (like Dame Judith js the illegitimate daughter of a once powerful duke something like that haha) Characters... I hate that Black Knight Captain. It was really satisfying when Dame Judith was the one who killed him. The Emperor was a coward much like the Ed (the halfblood prince lols). Honestly, Jermel (black knight capt) was right, the emperor shouldve just killed him in the first place so that no one would hold a grudge and seek revenge. Prince William, I quite like his character together with Prince Ethan (who was later crowned emperor.) They did their roles well in the story and they weren't just extra pieces. Princess Olga, I can understand why she decided to go in seclusion. In an imperial palace where there are people who wish for your downfall, it's hard to know which people to trust. Also, it's a natural human behavior: self-preservation. However, if only she explained that to her siblings, i think they wouldve avoided a blood bath and unneccesary deaths. I'm glad they didnt kill off Dechamp (i dunno how to spell his name. He's the second in command of Giryuu (the capt of red knights)). It wouldve been an unneccessary death that would add nothing to the plot. I kinda expected that Olga will save him, and I'm glad that turned out that way. I really like Giryu's character. He reminds me of Kristoff hahaha a man who's so willing to let their beloved shine because he knows that's what'll make her happy. And dame judith, i really like that redemption arc/character development she had. And like i mentioned, i quite like the fact that there's no mystery behind her birth yada yada. Overall, I liked the story. Is it somthing that I may read again? Perhaps... ---- The Imperial Knight Judith was once a scumbag that would do anything for money. She lived as a slave to money as a dog of the imperial family and a tool of the chief. Under the guise of destitution, she abandoned her guilt. But what was at the end was betrayal and death. However, when she opened her eyes, she went back to being a new knight after six years? ‘I’m not going to be a swordsman for money anymore!’ In front of Judith, who is determined to live a different life than before, the commander of the Red Knights and scouts appears... “I assure you that you will be treated fairly. Why don't you join the Red Knights?” Judith decided not to pursue money blindly as a Red Knight, abandoning her past of being a Black Knight. Can she live this life without regret? - 10 stars Last read 21
