She lost her memory yada yada. Then the emperor kidnaps her. 48 chp as of Jan 11, 2021 --- Last read... Chp 48 Wtf. I read through the chapters in less than a day. The first 30 chapters served more like a prologue. In the 38th chapter, that's when things started to unfold. Until chp 48 is a flashback of what happened in the great nation. The succeeding chapters will reveal what happened to Tia and Kairus the night they met. After the flashbacks, the present will resume in the ballroom where Rune appeared. Technically, Kairus didn't kidnap Tia. He took her from the household of Martin... Oh wait. He did kidnap her since it's against her will. But anyway, he treated her well in the palace. They got to know each other etc etc. And eventually, in the ball, he proposed to her. There are a lot of revelations. Like Tia used to be the High Priestess of the great nation and she's immortal who feeds on blood. 800 years ago, she used to be a princess (i think or somewhat close to a royal) who was physically weak. But a woman used "sorcery" to make her immortal thus the blood craving chuchuness. The chemistry between Tia and Kairus is subtle. It's calm like the ocean in the middle of the night. You can feel the soothing brush of the breeze. It leaves you wanting for more. Blesse is such a sweetheart and I'm rooting for her and Martin. Tho Martin loves Tia. I'm excited how the story will further progress and show how they ended up in those situations. Looking forwarddddd for more updates.

97 chp Jan 12 2021 ---- I forgot anong chapter na ko. I love the story, dont get me wrong. I love the characters as well. Nasa part ako ng Trouble Between Reserves and Expedition Faction Arc (ai made that up hahaha. Just so it's easy for me to remember ano last scene.) But anyway... Since i've been reading lots of schemes in society, i got rather tired of it. So i am TEMPORARILY stop reading this for a while. Nasa around 60th chapter pa lang ako. Annd the development between them is super slow. What I also noticed is, Pauliana's character seems to be stagnant in a way and the Emperor's personality is sort of diverging. I read a spoiler in the comments: the emperor took in concubines in the later chapters and even had a child with them. Another spoiler said that, Pauliana and him spent a night together and she became pregnant but she hid the pregnancy from him (also, the emperor only found out after she gave birth. He was happy still tho.) Another spoiler said that, Pauliana started having feelings for him on BOOK 4! Freakin book 4. Gosh. But I want to know their story still. I'll pick this up again when I feel like it. Kudos for portraying a strong woman who, tho she didn't plan to in the first place since she was forced into the situation, emerged as an accomplished knight in a patriarchal society. -Jun 23, 2021; 1:05 am ----
