Holy shit completed: 103 chapters ----- Feb 3, 2021 Edna's father is a tyrannical king who exploited the kingdom's resources and abused his power. Thus, she was raised as a prince named 'Eden' to be able to survive in the palace (since princesses are raised and educated only to be sold for alliances). Eli is a newly-appointed duke of a huge land. But actually, he's the brother of the King Cayden. They have a messy past, but it was not discussed dramatically – which I liked. I like the time skips. 3 years later, when Edna and Eli's son is already 3 years old. And 17 years later when Alex (the son) was already 20 years old and was crowned as heir to the throne. The story and plot was good, tho cliche. It was executed beautifully. The characters were well written, the dialogues were well scripted. 5/5 --- Reread on apr 4 2022. Still one of the best
The beginning after the end
10000000 stars I read the 114 chaps in half a day. Haha I enjoyed every bit thoroughly. I loved the first season, where the world-building/setting was explained well. Also, his character was established together with his family. Personally, my favorite is when they got attacked by bandits and he willfully sacrificed himself. Well, I also the harmony between him and his parents. For once, I read a strong character who's not clouded with a traumatic character-building (in his current life, his past life is sort of another matter). Sylvia arc is another one of my fave. I also cried a bit there. Then the elven arc where he saved the princess was also good. All I can say is, the transition and pacing are really on point. Every scene has a purpose, every character has their role to play. And his training with gramps elven was also awesome. Perhaps one of my other favorite part is when he was reunited with his fam. (Srsly, it broke my heart how his mom suffered, and how the relationship of his parents was on the brink of breaking, and was possibly being kept together by their unborn child, after losing Art.) Annnd it doesnt bother me that there are lots of characters. They sure are interesting. I keep on imagining this to be an anime. Srsly. This has really good potential. If there's an anime I can say this will match up to, it's Black Clover. The action-packed chapters and awesome art. Gosh. As for Art, I really like his character. What do I say about the romance? Well, I only clicked on this because there's a romance tag attached to it. Halfway, I got so engrossed with the plot that it I thought it's okay even if there's no love interest. They started injecting romance later in the chapters tho. I think the artist/author isn't purposely making Tessia look like a damsel in distress. But I also do think that Tessia's character has so much potential. I wish they'll give her more justice. ---- Last scene: in the dungeon. There's a 2-headed basilisk something something. And one of the Lance is waiting for back up coz they'll proceed investigating.

Feb. 15, 2025 Picked this up and read up to 200. Imma read the sequel next ---- 179 chaps total (completed) Woah. Damn. Just. It's def good. No wonder it's overrated. Haha I like that there's little to no romance in it. And i def like in the end all the lives of the people were saved. Gosh. If ever I am isekaid in this world, please give me buffs *pleading hands* Jan. 2, 2021. P.S. BERU BEST BOY! (The ant shadow lols. Who's really really loyal haha. Last read, 182 It was as good as it was the first time. Also, i'm rlly happy na may continuation ang story huhu i hope the artist is happy. And i'm sad that most artists are overworked huhu and i feel bad that i read this for free huhu sorry
