It's beyond feeling sad and very disturbing.
I don't think it was about love, I think it was about psychological habbit or attachment with somebody that may appears as love. It pushes you to do certain things which are beyond any human limitations in order to not lose that precious thing. Saying anymore than this will make me depressed because the experience of reading this was very stressful and sickening.
