Alright this shit hit different. So fucking cute, MC is helping his friend get with his childhood friend, until she falls in love with the MC himself, and they date, only to find out his childhood friend is in love with him, so cute, so heartbreaking at the same time. Honestly thought they’d be together forever, but the MC got with his childhood friend at the very end, it was touching, probably the first romance mangas I’ve read where there was completely wholesome, no kissing/etc.

MC was an orphan who died one cold night from an accidental OD, and woke up to find herself as a baby in a novel she had recently been Interested in, where the child she was born as, was destined to be killed by her fathers hands at 18. While knowing that, she tried to either live silently away from her father, or try and run away ASAP in order to not fall by his hands. -SPOILERS- As the story progresses, she decides to opt for the last resort and try and win the fathers love, which ofc is really freakin hard since he literally used magic to get rid of his emotions
