The main character had a toxic relationship with his roommate. His boss that is a vampire smelled his blood and surprisingly liked it. So he told the mc that he would grant him any favor in exchange for his blood. He asks him to kill his abusive roomie but turns out he's not dead and they haven't found out he's hiding behind the mask of rhe mc's new bodyguard.
