Nakanai Hibari
Interesting… A few things I find very cool about the author’s drawing style: she makes very realistic hands. And yes, the style of the hands do not exactly match their cute faces lol. But it’s interesting to see that the art has so much more potential (not that it’s bad, but it’s a mix of a more realistic style with a manga attempt. I find it very unique, not weird at all). Also, the story is 100x. better with the older men not having a prior relationship. This helped a lot on the credibility I gave to the story because it doesn’t seem like he is grieving a love relationship, but more like a very close friend. Anyway, it helped. What it didn’t fit for me was their personalities and the way the story went for them to have a romantic relationship. The younger guy looks so much like a kid. Not based of appearance only, but the way he reacts, his immature way of dealing with things and kind of looking for this family figure he eventually finds on the older guy. On my point of view, the kid couldn’t discern the difference o urge for a parent or a family figure than a love relationship. That’s weird, because the way the older guy treats the younger one, it seems so much like a parent, not a lover. Ugh, it’s weird, and I love age gap relationships. The thing is: I love when they both know exactly how wrong it is and they’re conscious of that. Anyway, I’d love to re-read it sometime in the future and find out I’m absolutely wrong. Let’s see!
