What an interesting manga. Well, to be honest I’m not really comfortable with the fact that they both love someone else/ were in love with someone they still didn’t forget. I don’t understand relationships that start like a plan B, and that’s exactly what I saw in this case. I could be wrong, and be interpreting the manga in the wrong way, but yeah. Although I don’t quite enjoy the style, it’s a really nice manga and the author is absolutely amazing, she did a wonderful job in other mangas and not every single piece must be a five star. So that’s why for me it’s a 3/5. Not my first choice, but still pretty complex and the ART!!!!!!!! I just love the sex and just the details in general, the author is so good!!!!!!! Plus, I think the brother thing was a major turnoff for me, I don’t know why. It was such a bomb out of nowhere and it wasn’t really worked throughout the story.

Very cute! I don’t understand why it’s tagged under shounen-ai since it has some pretty cute uncensored sex scenes. Definitely worth reading! The art is so beautiful and the story so cute!

Interesting… A few things I find very cool about the author’s drawing style: she makes very realistic hands. And yes, the style of the hands do not exactly match their cute faces lol. But it’s interesting to see that the art has so much more potential (not that it’s bad, but it’s a mix of a more realistic style with a manga attempt. I find it very unique, not weird at all). Also, the story is 100x. better with the older men not having a prior relationship. This helped a lot on the credibility I gave to the story because it doesn’t seem like he is grieving a love relationship, but more like a very close friend. Anyway, it helped. What it didn’t fit for me was their personalities and the way the story went for them to have a romantic relationship. The younger guy looks so much like a kid. Not based of appearance only, but the way he reacts, his immature way of dealing with things and kind of looking for this family figure he eventually finds on the older guy. On my point of view, the kid couldn’t discern the difference o urge for a parent or a family figure than a love relationship. That’s weird, because the way the older guy treats the younger one, it seems so much like a parent, not a lover. Ugh, it’s weird, and I love age gap relationships. The thing is: I love when they both know exactly how wrong it is and they’re conscious of that. Anyway, I’d love to re-read it sometime in the future and find out I’m absolutely wrong. Let’s see!

So nice! I particularly like how the blonde guy develops his character throughout the story, from a bad and expressionless guy to a caring one. Very good!

Itoshi no Nekokke

Ongoing | KUMOTA Haruko | 2010 released

What a masterpiece!!!!!!! It really is a slice of life because you get to know both of them from high school to when they finally go live together. They change so much and they are so inspiring!!! There are no open dialogues, no unsaid things you know, just perfect. They evolve together in life, personality and even sex. A truly wonderful piece of art, 100% recommend it, too sad it isn’t completed yet.

Actually pretty good, I was confused at first what the plot was about but then I kinda understood. Well, I’m not saying I absolutely love it but it’s actually pretty good.
